One of our rays of sunshine in the dark days of Lockdown was Toyah and Robert's Sunday Lunch, fizzing clips of the two of them in their Dorset kitchen, him playing off-brand rock and roll, her singing in extravagant finery, occasionally on an exercise bike. Their version of Metallica's Enter Sandman got 8.6m views alone. One time they were dressed as bees, another re-staging Swan Lake wearing tutus. This has now flowered into an all-the-trimmings Christmas show with a full rock band touring in December. They look back here at how it started and where it's ended up, which includes … … the teenage Fripp doing the twist at the Cellar Club, Poole. … Strictly judge Craig Revel Horwood's reaction when Robert booed him on set. … when the “elite newspapers” declared their kitchen shows were “genius”. … where their two different audiences meet. … plans for an upcoming Fripp memoir and his 1981 King Crimson diary. … things you find in old boxes in the attic. … how the grumpier end of King Crimson's supporters regard the “other Robert Fripp”. … what Tony Iommi and Robert Plant thought of their lockdown clips. … and what you can expect from their Christmas Party show – which involves Bowie, Blondie, Neil Young, Slade, Metallica and an inflatable penguin. Although portrayed as TV’s Mr Nasty, Craig Revel Horwood is anything but. He is a wonderful raconteur, a generous spirit and a thoroughly charming bloke. That’s not to say that he doesn’t enjoy playing the role of Villain - as evidenced by examining his CV - countless pantomimes in the UK playing evil Dames, a lead role in the fourth instalment of the Nativity film series and his return to the West End in a celebrated production of the musical Annie - playing the gin- soaked, top-dog of the orphanage; Miss Hannigan.Horwood is a jack-of-all-trades - and a master of them all. A career beginning in Australian musical theatre in productions of West Side Story, La Cage Aux Folles and Sugar Babies has seen him extend his creative talents into the West End on Crazy For You and Miss Saigon as performer and resident director - eventually claiming the creative positions of Choreographer and Director on productions around the world, in his own right. Gigs at the Lido and the Moulin Rouge in Paris prove his versatility and the range of his talents. But the role that has brought him universal attention, and unwanted celebrity, is that of the acerbic-tongued judge on UK’s Strictly Come Dancing and the current season of Dancing With The Stars in Australia. His many Australian friends and family have relished the opportunity to spend time once again with Craig.Horwood is a dynamic and thoroughly engaging personality - his passion for his work is enormous and his consideration for any art form he tackles is reverential. What a delight it was to sit down with Craig Revel Horwood. Dare one say ... it was Fab-U-Lous!

Meanwhile Joe Sugg says he’s met his match in the prankster stakes with Neil Jones, Katya’s husband. Also, Debbie McGee looks ahead to being in the Strictly studios for Halloween and explains why her 81 year-old mother thinks Seann and Katya didn’t deserve all the flack they got over that oh-so-public kiss. Craig Revel Horwood is with Debbie McGee and Rachel Ward this week, and does not disappoint. Nothing is off limits as he gives his unique take on the Seann and Katya saga, how he hopes the dance of shame drama is over but is still looking forward to seeing their inevitable rhumba on the show. And that’s just part one of Craig - who will return next week for more Strictly insight. Flossing, the circle game and 1990s-style thumb rings all get discussed by Debbie McGee and co on this week’s episode - who could have predicted that? But then we didn't expect Anton du Beke to be hiding in Susannah Constantine’s costume either. It was an eventful first live show, to say the least. As well as hot takes on the weekend's action from Debbie and the panel, we also hear from a trio of young Strictly viewers, distraught at how harshly Craig Revel Horwood marked one of their favourites -- and we crunch the numbers to get some key Strictly stats. The British Government has just allocated £289 million to the World Service for the next five years, in a bid to promote UK soft power. But where will this money go, and what does this mean for the BBC's independence? Roger Bolton talks to the Director of the BBC World Service Group Francesca Unsworth. With the arrival of Advent came a Radio 3 Carol Service, performed by the Choir of St John's College, Cambridge. Some listeners were impressed by the new compositions alongside traditional favourites, but others were put off by some of the more modern works. Should advent be a time for challenging new music or comforting classics? Roger asks the series producer of Radio 3's Choral Evensong, Philip Billson. Radio 2's Friday Night is Music Night has been broadcasting for over 60 years, offering listeners a weekly programme of popular music performed by the BBC Concert Orchestra and a myriad of stars. But can a programme from the 1950s pull in a wide age-range of listeners and can it justify the expense of a full orchestra? Roger Bolton goes behind the scenes, speaking to Strictly Come Dancing judge and guest presenter Craig Revel Horwood and the production team, to find out what goes into making the world's longest-running live orchestral music programme on radio. Last week Glenda Jackson returned to acting, after a 23 year absence, playing Dide in the first season of Blood, Sex and Money on Radio 4. The series is a 'mash-up' of 20 of Zola's novels. Many listeners lapped up the drama. Roger Bolton speaks to Commissioning Editor Jeremy Howe about whether you have to follow the text word-for-word to be faithful to the spirit of the author. Producer: Katherine Godfrey A WhistledownpProduction for BBC Radio 4.
