What can golf teach us about business, leadership, and personal growth? A lot more than you might think. In this special episode of Career Can Do, Chris Sandland, Director of Operations at Faremouth & Company, steps in as our host, Mary Ann. Chris sits down with Joe Bronson, CEO of The Bronson Group and author of books Golf Chronicles, Through The Green, and Pardon Me. 50 Years of Gold, One Hole at a Time. With decades of experience in both the boardroom and on the golf course, Joe shares stories and insights that show how the game mirrors life, from ethics and decision-making to handling setbacks and building relationships. Joe has played 93 of the top 100 golf courses in the U.S. and even had the once-in-a-lifetime experience of playing a round with golf legend Arnold Palmer. But beyond the prestige and unforgettable moments, Joe sees golf as a powerful tool for connection and leadership development. Whether he's navigating a challenging par three or a major business decision, the mindset is often the same: know your skill set, take smart risks, and stay focused on the present. He explains, “In business, just like in golf, emotion can ruin you. You have to keep things in balance, stay disciplined, and respond to the situation in front of you, not the one behind you.” Chris and Joe also explore how golf can still be a relevant networking tool, even in today's digital-first world. Joe argues that spending four hours on a course with someone tells you more about them than a dozen Zoom meetings ever could. And he's seen firsthand how a well-timed piece of advice from someone who believes in you, even a caddie, can shift your entire approach. Now retired from corporate life, Joe focuses on giving back. All proceeds from his book support youth golf and university programs, including The First Tee, which helps underprivileged kids learn the game while gaining life skills. If you're a leader, a golfer, or just someone trying to make good decisions in work and life, this episode offers timeless lessons, and a few great stories, from someone who's walked both the fairway and the executive floor. I'd get someone who's been where I want to go.Shadow top agents – Watch how they move, think, and win in today's market.Choose 3 lead sources – Then build systems around them. Simplicity scales.Say yes to free lead sources – Zillow, OpsCity, Homelight, teams… anything that gets you reps.Lock in a revenue routine – 60-90 mins of intentional lead gen every single day.Join a community or mastermind – The right room changes your strategy, your mindset, and your results.Whether you're starting, rebuilding, or pivoting, I want you to know:

Kevin Harrington takes us on a thrilling journey from his early days as the pioneer of the infomercial industry to becoming a powerhouse investor and Shark Tank celebrity. With remarkable candor, he reveals how acquiring unused cable television time in the 1980s launched his career and led to building multiple public companies and completing over 1,000 business transactions. The true magic of Harrington's success lies in his ability to adapt to changing market conditions. When he noticed television viewership declining as younger generations flocked to TikTok and Instagram, he pivoted away from his As Seen On TV empire toward digital marketing strategies. This foresight led to one of his most spectacular investments—Celsius energy drink—which he joined as a board member when shares were just $0.10, helping build it into a $20 billion company without spending a single dollar on television advertising.Make sure to download as we bring the best centimillionaires and billionaires interviews on the Accredited Investor Podcast. To learn more about Jonathan's recession resilient mobile home park real estate Fund & Flex Space Development investments for Accredited Investors: https://www.midwestparkcapital.com/To learn more about Jonathan's business growth consulting and fractional CMO services, and digital marketing for small businesses:https://www.revenueascend.com/consulting/The Family Office Club was founded in 2007 and has now become the world's largest association in the industry with over 7,500 registered ultra-wealthy investors-Richard C. It was awesome to have an open conversation on all things on their mind and how I can help them on their journey in health, fitness, & coaching. They asked some very thought-provoking questions that lead to deep reflections and deep answers. Here are the questions that the 3 interns (Larry Hando, Max Jackson, and Ian Castillo) asked Ryan Rogers and I on today's IMPACT SHOW podcast: 1. "What was the moment that you knew you wanted to go into fitness & motivational speaking and what has made you stay on this path?" 2. "How do you find the balance between personal life and your passion for fitness and helping people?" 3. “How do you keep your mind right through the pain & struggle you have had to endure?" 4. “When you're in your dark times, or you fail, or you feel guilty about something, how do you process that and get through it?” 5. "How do you keep your ego in check when working with both high-level athletes and everyday clients? How do you stay humble and treat everyone equally?" 6. "What's the most fulfilling part of your work and how do you stay motivated after years of coaching?" 7. “What advice do you have for young coaches or trainers just starting out in the industry?" 8. “In 24-years of Fitness Quest 10, what were your fondest memories and most special experiences, accolades, or events?” Man, did I love this conversation. Some of the macro-themes centered around topics such as… The power of SHOWING-UP. The concept of “Be Humble…Be Hungry” and how that relates these days. The importance of building relationships and the right network, as this lends to your community that you are part of. How to deal with physical pain, loss, failure, and challenge…and how they ultimately can serve as catalysts for growth also. Building a career with Purpose and the elements it requires to do so over years and decades. The Beauty of the Beginning, when there were no frills and just hard work, dedication, and a driving vision to help people. Wisdom & advice for New Coaches & Trainers. MAN!! This was such a fun episode and it was so great getting to connect with these young interns who are eager to learn and grow in the fitness industry. Their questions reminded of the power of consistency, the importance of showing up, and the incredible impact coaching can have on someone. While the road to success can often be tough, filled with challenges and even pain, it's in those very moments that we experience the most growth. Keep growing…and keep going! Thanks for listening.
