In this episode, Anthony O'Neal reveals the investing mistake that cost him money, time, and stress. He breaks down his move toward index funds, automation and long-term consistency, including how waiting 10 years to invest could mean the difference between roughly $1 million and $400,000.Anthony also shares what should come before aggressive investing and walks through the 5-step system he uses to eliminate financial anxiety, build a strong foundation and turn investing into a tool for greater freedom, peace and control.Mentioned Here:
What if the thing holding your business back has nothing to do with your work? We've coached over 450 creatives at this point, and the most successful ones are almost never the most talented ones.We get on calls with filmmakers and photographers who are better shooters than we'll ever be. Better gear. Better organized. One guy had a spreadsheet of every person he'd ever pitched, when he followed up, and what he sent. And the business still wasn't moving.Talent can actually work against you here, because it hands you something to keep polishing instead of something to test. So you re-edit the portfolio piece instead of sending the pitch. You wait until it feels ready. And ready doesn't show up on its own. Here's the part nobody says out loud: the creatives who build the business aren't the ones who felt ready first. They're the ones who got their hands on real evidence that it was possible for them.In this episode, Joey and Christy break down exactly where that evidence comes from, and it isn't affirmations or mindset work. Christy tells the story of flying to San Diego on money she didn't have just to carry a photographer's bags for a day, and how one day rewired what she thought her business could be. Joey tells the story of getting dropped off at two working filmmakers' houses at thirteen years old, being completely useless on set, and why it set the direction for everything after. Then we get practical about how you go get the same thing this month. Why the most talented creative in the room is often the most stuckThe difference between borrowing confidence and trying to manufacture itWhy following someone on Instagram isn't proximity, and what actually isHow humility is the fastest on-ramp to confidence in your businessThe one assignment to run this week to get real evidence it's possible for youBelief is buildable. It's not a personality trait, and it's not reserved for people who look like they were born with it.
Could One Page Change Your Child's School Year? A Free Tool to Help the Adults in Their World Truly Understand Them If you're the parent of an autistic or ADHD child, you know how exhausting it can be to explain your child to every new teacher, therapist, physician, coach, tutor, or camp counselor. You hope they'll understand your child's strengths, communication style, sensory needs, executive functioning challenges, and what helps them thrive—but those conversations don't always happen the way you'd hoped. In this episode of The Autism ADHD Podcast, I'm introducing a brand-new FREE resource designed to make those conversations easier. The Get to Know My Child Snapshot is a one-page, fillable tool that helps the adults in your child's world understand who they are before assumptions, misunderstandings, or unnecessary struggles begin. Whether your child is autistic, ADHD, or both, this practical resource can help create stronger relationships, reduce anxiety, and support better outcomes at school, in therapy, at medical appointments, during extracurricular activities, and beyond. As a psychologist who has spent nearly three decades supporting neurodivergent children, teens, and their families, I've seen firsthand how understanding changes everything. When adults understand why a child communicates differently, struggles with executive functioning, experiences sensory overload, or responds in unexpected ways, they're far more likely to respond with compassion, support, and effective accommodations instead of frustration or correction. In this episode, you'll learn: Why autistic and ADHD children often begin the school day already feeling anxious or overwhelmed. How misunderstandings can increase anxiety, self-esteem challenges, and school avoidance. Why communication differences are often mistaken for defiance, disrespect, or lack of motivation. How sensory differences and executive functioning challenges affect learning, participation, and emotional regulation. Why understanding a child's strengths is just as important as understanding their challenges. How therapists can use the Get to Know My Child Snapshot to support self-awareness, self-advocacy, and collaboration with families. How one simple tool can help teachers, therapists, physicians, coaches, tutors, camp counselors, and other caregivers better support autistic and ADHD children. What's Included in the FREE Get to Know My Child Snapshot? Your download includes: Three one-page fillable PDF formats. Completed examples to make completing the Snapshot simple. Sections for strengths and interests. Communication preferences. Executive functioning. Sensory needs. Emotional regulation. Social interaction. Helpful supports and accommodations. Behavior as communication. It takes about five minutes to complete and can be updated as your child grows and their needs change. This Episode Is Perfect For: Parents of autistic and ADHD children and teens. Mental health therapists, psychologists, counselors, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists. Teachers, school counselors, and other educators. Pediatricians and medical professionals. Coaches, tutors, camp counselors, caregivers, and anyone who supports neurodivergent children. 10 creatives. 10 niches. 10 strategies that are producing real money right now.Sometimes growth comes from learning a new tool or a new trick. This week I brought on my good friend Cole, who's raising three boys and a daughter, to dig into something that's been on my heart for a long time: how do we actually turn a boy into a man? We get into the real, practical side of fatherhood, from a flag football cheating scandal that turned into a life lesson on his sideline, to the conversation I had with my own son about learning to think and problem-solve instead of having every issue solved for him. Cole and I talk about how "becoming a man" isn't a single moment, it's language and intentionality threaded through everyday interactions, from sports to chores to the hard conversations nobody wants to have.We also get into why so many kids today grow up feeling unnecessary instead of needed, tracing the shift from the agricultural age, where a child's contribution literally put food on the table, all the way to today's information age, where kids can go their whole childhood without ever feeling essential to the family. I share the story of building what we call a family "ethos," teaching my kids what it means to be a Valentin, and how identity like that shapes behavior far more than rules ever could. And then I get real about one of the hardest seasons of my life as a dad: the moment my 17-year-old son decided to move out because he wanted more responsibility, and what happened over the year that followed, spaghetti dinners, blown budgets, and all. This conversation isn't about having it all figured out. It's about being willing to pay the personal price it takes to disciple your kids well, even when it costs you a practice, a peaceful evening, or your own comfort. If you're a dad in the thick of raising boys, or even if your kids are grown and you're wondering how you can still show up for the young men around you, this episode is for you. And don't forget, our Foundations of Masculinity course and our Sexuality and Relationships course are both completely free at braveco.org. Are you behind on your bills, living paycheck to paycheck, overwhelmed by debt, or simply wondering what comes next? Those starting points may look very different, but they often share the same underlying problem: without a clear plan, it becomes difficult to see what is actually happening or what to do next. Fear fills in the blanks, money disappears without intention, and a situation that needs attention can begin to feel permanent. In this revisited episode, Coach Nino Villa walks through four common financial starting points and shares what he has seen happen when people stop avoiding the numbers, put their situation on paper, and begin managing their money with greater clarity and purpose. You may need to catch up on past-due bills. You may need to create margin between you and the next paycheck. You may need a realistic path through debt. Or you may already be financially stable and need clarity about what you are building toward next. Wherever you are starting, your current situation does not have to be your final destination. Mortgage rates today: oil prices drop to $84 a barrel, new tariffs hit the market, and the Federal Reserve meets in 2 days. Here's what it means for your mortgage rate, refinance, and home buying plans.
This week Christy and I are pulling back the curtain on something we've never fully explained before: the exact reason some inquiries go quiet right when things should be heating up. ⚡️If you're a photographer, filmmaker, content creator, or social media manager running your own creative business, this is the pinned post and content funnel we've personally used for over a decade.A client goes cold after what felt like a great first conversation. Someone downloads your pricing guide and you never hear from them again. It happens to almost every creative business, and most people assume it's a pricing issue or a fit issue. Usually it isn't.So today we're laying out the actual system running behind our own agency, Speers Collective, the one that gets people arriving at a sales call already halfway convinced. We call it Bingers Become Buyers, and it's built to turn someone who's never heard of you into a booked client without you having to talk them into anything.
From $10M to almost quitting — to $143M in one year. These are the luxury real estate tips Manhattan's top agent wishes he knew sooner. Michael Franco started in real estate in 2008 with a law degree, 14 years of closing experience, and zero idea how to actually build a business. He sold $25 million his first full year. Then sat back and waited for the phone to ring. By 2012 he was down to $10 million and almost walked away from real estate entirely. Then he found coaching. And everything changed. Today Michael is one of Manhattan's most respected luxury real estate agents at Compass — with $1.5 billion in career sales and $143 million closed in 2025 alone. In this episode Tom Ferry sits down with Michael to unpack the luxury real estate tips, mindset shifts and business decisions that made the difference — including: • Why being a former attorney gives you an unfair advantage in luxury real estate • The 3 decisions that transformed Michael's career from $10M to $143M • How to earn trust with wealth managers, accountants and family offices • What luxury clients are really hiring you to do — and how to deliver it • The psychology of getting comfortable at a higher price point • The co-listing strategy that gets you into luxury real estate fast • The biggest pricing mistakes luxury agents make — and the scripts that fix them • The pre-launch phone and email campaign most agents completely skip • Where Michael is investing his marketing dollars in 2026 — and why print is out "Everybody has imposter syndrome in the beginning. You gotta get a little confidence, remove the ego, and just serve the customer." — Tom Ferry If you want to break into luxury real estate or take your high end business to the next level — this episode is for you. --------------------- Let's Connect: Get Your Real Estate Coaching Consultation → https://www.tomferry.com/free-coaching-consultation/ Attend A Tom Ferry Event → https://store.tomferry.com/ Free Tools & Playbooks for Real Estate Agents → https://www.tomferry.com/agent-tools/ Visit My Website → https://www.tomferry.com/ Instagram → https://www.instagram.com/tomferry Facebook → https://www.facebook.com/ TomFerry X → https://www.instagram.com/tomferry

When most people think about preparing for Christmas, they immediately think about shopping. But what if the better place to start is with a different question? What do you really want? In this episode of the New Money Habits Podcast, Coach Nino Villa and Maria Casillas explore the connection between your values, your priorities, and your spending decisions. They discuss why quick financial fixes rarely create lasting change, how understanding what matters most changes the way you build a spending plan, and why intentional preparation creates more peace than last-minute purchases ever could. Most realtors sound like everyone else — and it's costing them clients every single day. Joanna Wiebe built a $30M business on client communication tips for realtors that actually work. Everything a realtor does every day is writing. Emails. Texts. Listing descriptions. Offer letters. Your bio. Your website headline. Your Instagram profile. And yet almost nobody in real estate was ever trained in the art and science of using words that actually get clients to say yes. That changes today. Tom Ferry sits down with Joanna Wiebe — the woman who coined the term "conversion copywriting" and built a $30 million business helping brands communicate better — to unpack the client communication tips every realtor needs right now. Here is what you will learn: • Why your homepage headline is almost certainly wrong — and the one fix that changes everything • How to write a realtor bio that makes clients feel understood instead of sold to • The voice of customer method — how to use your clients' own words to attract more clients • The Instagram bio formula every realtor should be using: "I help [blank] do [blank]" • Problem-Agitation-Solution vs Desire-Obstacle-Solution — which framework to use and when • Why AI produces generic copy — and what to do instead to stand out • The rehab center headline that got 400% more clicks and 20% more signups overnight • How one word change made people 4.6x more likely to act — and what that means for your listings "Value and differentiation are at the heart and soul of all marketing, all copywriting, all advertising." — Joanna Wiebe If you are a realtor who feels invisible online, sounds like every other agent, or just wants more clients to call back — this episode is for you. Nikesh Arora, CEO of Palo Alto Networks, says 90% of his employees aren't AI-ready. The AI skills gap is quietly becoming the biggest career risk most professionals aren't watching, and instead of mass layoffs, he's rebuilding his team through hackathons and natural attrition. This week we cover what he said on the 20VC podcast, why he's calling out leaders like Coinbase's CEO and Block's Jack Dorsey for how they're handling AI-driven cuts, and why this moment feels a lot like the one our parents lived through when computers first showed up at work and typing classes felt optional. No Followers. No Credentials. No Prior Clients. Bulletproof Side Hustle System Turning Entrepreneurs Into Resume Goldminers Make money online with an AI resume optimization agency—no followers, credentials, or prior clients needed. Learn the step-by-step system Marcus used to hit $4,200/month building resume and cover letter services with free tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Canva, Grammarly). Discover the ATS-beating formula that defeats the 75% rejection rate, plus the ethical framework that separates real AI entrepreneurs from scheme-sellers. Your contrarian guide to turning zero into a scalable, guilt-free side hustle. https://DarkHorseEntrepreneur.com Tracy explains how to start and scale an AI-assisted resume and cover letter service using free tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Canva Free, Grammarly) and a system designed to beat ATS filters that reject about 75% of applicants. Using an example of "Marcus," who went direct to clients and grew to $4,200 in a month, it argues success comes from process, not credentials or marketing. The approach includes a diagnostic intake (15-question Google Form), ATS-focused prompting, an industry-specific template library, a simple one-off offer via a free Carrd landing page, and client outreach on LinkedIn. It then describes productizing into self-serve and upgraded tiers (including LinkedIn optimization) using automation (Typeform branching, Zapier, low-cost ChatGPT API) while warning about the ethical tradeoff of generic output and recommending a hybrid with a brief human review to add specificity and storytelling. 00:00 AI Resume Side Hustle 00:49 The Invisible Advantage 01:13 Marcus Case Study 02:00 What Clients Want 02:50 Diagnostic Intake Questions 03:38 Prompts That Reframe 04:58 Template Library System 06:15 Simple Offer Landing Page 06:41 Direct Outreach And Delivery 08:23 Systematize With Forms 10:04 Packages And Upsells 11:02 Productize And Automate 12:39 Quality And Ethics Trap 15:24 Translator Mindset 16:49 Whiskered Wisdom 18:08 One Action Today ai resume writing, make money online with AI, AI side hustles, ATS optimization service, freelance resume writing, side hustle, ChatGPT resume writing, AI income, how to start a resume writing business, AI tools, make money online as a mom, AI powered side hustle ideas, resume writing business, online business, AI freelance business ai side gig, digital entrepreneur, Entrepreneur, entrepreneur podcast, entrepreneur tips, Entrepreneurship, Entreprenuer, make money, online business, online entrepreneurship, online opportunities, parenting and entrepreneurship, podcast entrepreneur, side hustles, tips for entrepreneurs, make money online, ai resume optimization, ai entrepreneur

In this episode of the Creativ Rise Podcast, Joey and Christy break down how to go from $500 day rates to $10K-$15K months as a photographer, filmmaker, content creator, UGC creator, or social media manager. After booking $14,000 across two projects in just 14 days, they're sharing the 4 specific shifts that took their pricing, and their clients' trust, to a completely different level. Most creative entrepreneurs think bigger budgets come down to having a better portfolio. They don't. Good work is the baseline now. Clients pay premium prices for trust, certainty, and results, not pretty photos or video. If you're still positioning yourself as the hired hand with a camera instead of the strategist running the project, you're leaving thousands of dollars on the table every time you book a job. Here's what they cover:How to stop showing up as "the shooter" and start running the day like a producer your client can fully trustHow to shoot for the client's actual business outcome instead of your own portfolioWhy selling certainty beats selling your time, and how to price around deliverables instead of hoursHow to position your work as a return on investment instead of a "nice to have"Whether you're a wedding photographer, brand photographer, videographer, content creator, or social media manager, these are the same pricing and positioning shifts that helped Creativ Rise Mastermind members like Nick, Adam & Clara, and Luel land $15K-$25K months this year.Make these 4 shifts and you stop competing for $500 gigs with every other photographer and filmmaker in your market, and start getting hired, and paid, like the strategist you already are.P.S. If you want our help installing these exact shifts in your creative business, open enrollment for the Creativ Rise Mastermind opens August 26.
