    Leadership is a tough job. From far, it seems appealing as is commonly said — all experience and effective challenge. I had a conversation with sunshine about the effectiveness of leadership that comes with tons of responsibility. It not only requires filling up your cup but equally filling others' cups is where leadership stands.  Talking about the balancing act of leadership, I agreed with the thoughts of Sunshine as she said being a leader you have to fulfill the needs of the organization as well as the team members at a time with stability.  Leadership drains you emotionally and physically. Sometimes it is so troublesome for you that if you don't lay out normal rhythms of restoration and reward, your administration will become incapable and fleeting. But at the end of the day, you have to deal with it.  Leaders also need peace of mind and for this, they can find comfort wherever they feel calm and relaxed.  Find a way to prioritize yourself whether it comes from hanging out with friends or sitting alone at a beach, or listening to music.     In this free training that Simon Fan and I did we discussed many pieces of being harder 2 kill.  Before we get too far down this path you might be asking what I mean by being harder 2 kill. You could be relentless. You could be conditioning more than anyone else.  Your resolve, no compromises, consistency, persistence, are a lot of terms that you can use.  I like to say be harder 2 the kill, because it encompasses so much. And it should not be have I'm an alpha male, I'm going to be harder to kill, sacrifice my health in order to be better. I'm gonna outwork you.  Out train you. Even though I'm on three hours of sleep. You're burning the candle at both ends. This is not about ego. So when I was living in India, and I got diagnosed with mold toxicity, I was asleep, and I was sleeping literally three to four hours a night.  But I'm still going to add training. I'm still going to outwork you. I'm going at it, but that mentality got me sicker than the average person where when I went to I got diagnosed with a mold toxicity at Dr. Oldsmar clinic in Florida. I was there for six weeks and after my IV and detox I'd go through every single they see these people like after their IV and detox session that seemed to surpass that. What's wrong with these people, I'm gonna go to the gym, are they on different things than me to go through this process because people are there for loans disease or all sorts. And I remember a couple of the nurses and a doctor said, they're actually taking less than you to detox themselves. But you've created this resilience inside yourself, mentally, that you've just got so sick physically, and, we got a lot of work to do. So being that resilient, and being harder to kill up here isn't always the best. So that's why I'm saying it's all encompassing, it isn't just one thing. When it comes to recovery, you need to be harder 2 kill. When you're looking at the outside perception, not just the internal, you need to be harder 2 kill.  Whether to not pick up the phone first thing in the morning, you will need to have that discipline to not be a reaction all the time. Neil "Yoda" Hill is a bodybuilding legend in the United Kingdom and the founder of Y3T, his signature training method, as well as a coach to some of the world's most elite and successful athletes. He has spent 33 years in the bodybuilding and fitness industry, and has more than 30 years of experience coaching athletes and clients from around the world. Neil was born and raised in Tenby, Pembrokeshire in the UK. Having grown up in Wales and coming from a low-income household, he saw his opportunities as limited.     Bodybuilding is the process of increasing muscle mass through resistance training. It's easy to see why bodybuilding is one of the most popular physical sports in the world: it has numerous mental and physical benefits.     When it comes to mountaineering, preparation is everything. Mountain climbing is much more difficult than hiking and requires a higher level of fitness as well as experience on a variety of terrain. There's a lot to do to prepare, from training your body and ensuring you have the technical skills for a safe, successful climb to training your mind for the endurance ahead. For mountain climbers, the strength-to-weight ratio is an important key performance indicator. Have you ever attempted to hike up a steep trail while carrying a heavy backpack? The more you carry, the more difficult the effort. Weight is important. It will be better for a mountaineer to be as close to their ideal body composition as possible so they don't have to carry a lot of extra weight up the mountain. One of the most important factors in determining a healthy weight goal is how much of a person's weight is body fat. For climbers, excess body fat can be reduced to improve performance. This is one of the challenges my client, Dan Eckstein experienced. Ever since Dan and his family moved to Southeast Idaho and saw the mountains, he has had a strong desire to reach the summit. As a result, he and his friends decided to attempt to climb Mount Hood in 2013. He trained a little bit in a gym, but he was all over the place, and he didn't have a proper diet, but he still believed he could reach the summit. They then began climbing the mountain, eventually reaching a height of 9300 feet. However, he noticed that his legs were cramping up and needed to stop. He worked it out a little bit, but suddenly he felt that he could not move anymore without getting a cramp. And because of that, their climb was not successful. This made him very upset and felt defeated, having wasted time, effort, and money. He realized he needed to lose weight (he weighed 266 pounds at the time) and train more in order to feel better and more confident for his second attempt—this became his most difficult challenge! Because of his unhealthy lifestyle and uncontrolled bad eating habits, plus the dream of reaching Mount Hood's summit, he started training with me to gain more strength, lose weight, and gain confidence to make the second attempt. Dan then reached out to me for training. Together, we worked to help him gain more strength and lose weight so that he would be confident in his ability to complete the climb successfully. It wasn't easy—it took discipline, hard work, and determination on Dan's part—but ultimately it all paid off: Dan managed to lose a ton of weight and pack on some serious muscles, making him achieve his goals. This time around, Dan found success on his second attempt! and made it to the summit!     Between the demands of work, family, and the rest, it is easy to lose sight of your health.  For many of us, finding the time, money and motivation to hit the gym can be a constant struggle. That's why I am so impressed with my client's incredible fitness transformation, who managed to lose 80 pounds in just three months while juggling two jobs! Shaun Howard is a hard-working father of two young boys. He works at a university in Cambridge, UK as a print technician, and he managed to have a part-time job in the evening as well.
