Darius Rose, also known by his drag persona Jackie Cox, made his off-Broadway debut earlier this month in  Triangle Productions' ‘Make Me Gorgeous: The True Story of Kenneth “Mr. Madam” Marlowe' and we are delighted to be joined by Darius to delve into his journey with the show, his television and drag career, and get into some Star Trek and Drag Race-related fan-submitted questions. Dubbed “one of the season's sleeper hits”, ‘Make Me Gorgeous' follows the life of LGBTQ+ trailblazer Kenneth Marlowe, who underwent countless trials and tribulations throughout their life until they spent the final decade as their true self, Kate Marlowe. From dealing with their mother's excessive alcohol use and working as a Christian missionary to surviving assault while in the military and performing drag and burlesque across the country, Marlowe's story is a fascinating, emotional and captivating tale, one that Darius Rose performed brilliantly in the 90-minute one-man show. “Wade [McCollum, who originated the role] was off to do Water for Elephants on Broadway, so he could no longer continue in the role. He's good friend with Willam, who was also on Drag Race and was in Titanique off-Broadway, and I think Wade had reached out to Willam to see the play and maybe if they were interested in doing the play, but he wasn't available to do it,” Darius shared. “Willam and I work with the same manager and asked if the producers would be willing to see me for the role, so I went to go see the play for the first time in December and I wasn't sure if I could do it myself. I had a lovely lunch for a couple of hours with our playwright/director Donnie and he said ‘I think you could do this, also my husband loves watching you on Days of Our Lives', so come do it!” Born in Canada and having grown up all around the US due to their mother's work as a  Medical Researcher, Darius went on to attend the University of California in Los Angeles where they earned their Bachelor of Arts degree. Soon moving to New York City, their sights were set on a career as an actor, it wasn't until they performed the titular role in the musical Hedwig and the Angry Inch that they would perform in drag for the first time. “My first time feeling the power of being in drag on a stage with a microphone and in heels was through that musical. Hedwig is a character that is so strong and powerful in her ability to use song and drag to convey her message, that was the first time that I felt the power of drag.” During our listener-submitting Q&A portion of the show ‘Dear Darius', fans asked which Star Trek character (as Darius is a huge Trekkie) they'd want to partner with for a drag makeover challenge, what the “wildest part” of working on Days of Our Lives is, and if they'd return to the Drag Race franchise for an All-Stars season. Watch our full interview above, and be sure to see Darius Rose starring in Make Me Gorgeous, in performances in New York City until February 25th!

Dr. Bob welcomes another very special Doctor to the program, Hematologist, Oncologist, and esteemed Medical Researcher, Dr. Aaron Goodman.  Among his many accomplishments, Dr. Goodman was a part of the Oncology team that helped save Dr. Bob's life when he had his own battle with a rare and very deadly form of cancer several years ago. Dr. Goodman breaks some of the inner-workings of the pharmaceutical industry including drug discovery, testing, and FDA approval.  He explains that cancer occurs when cells in the body mutate and misbehave, leading to uncontrolled growth, and the process of drug discovery, where compounds are developed to inhibit specific pathways in cancer cells. Dr. Goodman highlights the importance of distinguishing between tumor shrinkage and overall survival when assessing drug activity. He also raises concerns about the influence of pharmaceutical companies on clinical trials and the need for greater transparency and patient advocacy in the drug approval process.Aaron speaks knowledgeably on several controversial topics including the influence of money in drug development and clinical trials, the reliability of surrogate endpoints in measuring drug efficacy, the potential biases and conflicts of interest in the pharmaceutical industry, and the role of regulatory bodies like the FDA in approving drugs with potential risks and side effects.

Everyone got excited when red light therapy started popping up, celebrities were endorsing companies and Chinese factories were pumping out panels. What If I told you, that most of those so-called 'light therapy devices are nothing more than industrial plant grow lights originally designed and built for blasting out high-intensity light for growing plants? Once light therapy started getting popular, those same Industrial grow lights were re-branded and resold as light therapy devices. Complete with fancy marketing and a nice FAT sticker price! You would be pissed! So was I! You do not want to miss this episode with the brilliant Leanne Venier as we dive into the myths, facts, and what type of panel you really want. Leanne is the pioneer who validated the science of light therapy for the masses, including the medical community. Over 17 years ago, more than a decade before she launched her own Quantum Biophotonic Light Therapy invention, the REDjuvenator. She essentially created the light therapy industry with her medical teachings well before she ever launched her own product line. REDjuvenator Therapy is a powerful combination of Energy Medicine, all the benefits of acupuncture (and then some), a synergistic blend of harmonizing light therapy frequencies, AND Quantum Healing! #Mindblowing Show Notes Quantum Healing means healing using energy and frequency that is at a subatomic level, not visible to the human eye, and not visible to typical Western medicine chemistry-based tests.  The REDjuvenator's quantum healing aspect focuses on healing the energy body which is where our life force energy circulates and energizes our physical body.  These Quantum healing Energies combine with the synergistic light therapy frequencies in the REDjuvenator formulations to provide full system healing of both the energy body and the physical body while penetrating all of the body's tissues, organs, and brain. Most physical imbalances, illnesses, and diseases start in the energy body and eventually show up in the physical body. The REDjuvenator with its Quantum Energy Healing Codes, focus on healing the energy body AND the physical body, by filling your life force energy. The REDjuvenator opens up blockages in the energy channels (also known as meridians) that circulate that life force energy throughout the physical body. REDjuvenator therapy also heals anywhere that there has already had cellular or tissue damage, injured body parts, pain or inflammation, or any organ disruption, hormonal imbalance, toxic buildup, etc in the physical body.  And it also heals at a psychological and emotional level. In this power packed episode, Phoenix interviews the increasingly popular Dr. Tom Cowan, a world renowned Doctor and Medical Researcher, as he dives into a few ideas around sickness, health, and various medical theories around nerves and viruses. Some points addressed in this episode include: Dr. Cowan's 5 stage process of "not getting sick" as opposed to the Immune System as we generally think about it, humans as energy, what viruses appear to be and how there hasn't ever been a virus cell found in the fluids of a sick individual, nerve cells and synapses, and the results of our poisoned environment. Thomas S. Cowan, M.D., attended Duke University, graduating in 1977 Summa Cum Laud with a degree in biology. He then served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Swaziland, Africa, from 1977 to 1980, teaching gardening in a secondary school. It was in Swaziland where he encountered the work of Weston Price and Rudolf Steiner, two of the greatest influences on his career. After the Peace Corps he attended medical school in his home state of Michigan at the Michigan State College of Human Medicine. After graduating in 1984, he did an internship in family practice in Johnson City, New York. From 1985 until 2019. Dr. Cowan had a general medical practice, first in upstate New York, then for 17 years in Peterborough, N.H., and for 17 years in San Francisco, until his recent retirement from active practice. He formerly served as vice president of the Physicians Association for Anthroposophical Medicine and was a founding board member of the Weston A. Price Foundation. He continues to serve as its vice president. Dr. Cowan has given countless lectures and workshops throughout the U.S. on a variety of subjects in health and medicine. He is the author of six books. Five of these books spent time on the Amazon and/or Barnes & Noble bestseller lists, and each was ranked No. 1 in their respective categories, often for many months. In the past five years, he launched two businesses along with his wife and two sons. The first, Dr. Cowan's Garden, sells high-quality vegetable powders and kitchen staples; the second, drtomcowan.com, distributes information, hosts his popular webinar series, and sells many of the products he has used personally and in his practice. Dr. Cowan lives with his wife, Lynda, on rural farmland in Upstate New York. He has three children, one step-son and six thriving grandchildren. At the Congressional Office of Technology Assessment and the National Governors Association, he directed major health-related studies. He has been an executive volunteer at a major hospital for more than 10 years. His newest book is Pandemic Blunder. * About the Book: * Pandemic Blunder contains considerable medical information and data to support a number of proven safe, cheap generic medicines and protocols that knock out the coronavirus when given early. Read about the pioneering, courageous doctors who have been using innovative approaches to prevent their COVID patients from needing hospital care and facing death. * The book includes many expert opinions and Real World Evidence from doctors that show 70 to 80 percent of COVID deaths could have been prevented—and still can be. Don't be victimized by disinformation and propaganda. Learn how corrupt forces are aiming to make billions of dollars from expensive medicines and vaccines, and how hundreds of thousands of deaths could have—and should have—been prevented! Detailed information is given to help people protect their lives by using simple prevention protocols, an alternative to vaccines. * A huge amount of data and information not covered by mainstream media are in Pandemic Blunder that tells the story of how over 400,000 Americans have died from COVID-19 unnecessarily because the government has blocked early home treatment and prevention. With over 560,000 COVID American deaths, learning about safe and effective early home treatment/prevention is more important than ever. * * Here are the links to the May 22nd event I'm speaking at: * We Got This Speaker Summit – May 22, 2021 – http://WeGotThisMVMT.club/ * Purchase ticket via my personal link https://wegotthismovement.ticketspice.com/we-got-this.../... * * Here is the link to the June 5-6th 2021 free event that I am speaking at: * Website: https://backfrombrokensummit.com/ * * You can find Dr. Joel's book here: * Pandemic Blunder - https://amzn.to/3oth8PD * * Book Suggestions: * The Structure of Scientific Revolutions - https://amzn.to/3f29B7nMedical researcher * * Live-Stream Video Replays: * Facebook https://www.facebook.com/608082120110238/videos/828236621428119 * YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u5XiPYZpEM8 * Twitter Live/Periscope: https://www.pscp.tv/w/1BdxYYeNvDgxX * * If you are getting value out of the content that I'm creating; You can buy me a coffee here: * https://www.buymeacoffee.com/pozapoze * * If you like the streaming platform that I am using called StreamYard use the link below to sign up with and receive a $10 credit when you spend your first $25 on an upgraded account. Today's Conversation:  Let's Talk About "Real Paths to Wellness" About Alvin I'm from a small city in the midwest called East Saint Louis, ILAfter graduating college, I tried to do the noble thing and return to teach at the very high school I graduated from. That was a mistake! Things had changed: students openly threatened other students, parents never showed up for anything, and the students genuinely did not care about school. On top of that, Mr. Jackson (me) was breaking up fights every other day. I figured one day I'd be the one in a fight or worse yet, dead.?So that only lasted a year. Luckily, I was picked to be on Wheel of Fortune, won my episode, and walked away with all cash: $65,050...YEAH! From that, I ran a successful real estate business for 2 years. That ended when the “Great Crash of 2008” happened. Sh*t! Back to work. As life would have it, I ended up getting a position teaching anatomy and physiology, something I love. So that worked perfectly to set me up with my life plan...helping people get rid of chronic and even deadly conditions.?It's what I now live for.Talk about finding a life purpose...this is the ultimate for me!
