Fexco, the Irish-based financial services and fintech company, has launched payUnite, its market-leading next-generation global payments orchestration platform, into the airline, retail and hospitality industries. payUnite provides a unified payment platform to enterprise merchants, providing a secure, independent, and frictionless payment experience. With over 35% market share in the cruise industry and trusted by many of the world's leading cruise lines, Fexco's payUnite platform currently processes over $17 billion in transaction volumes annually. It has become a critical payments backbone for cruise operators worldwide. Built to meet the rigorous demands of a $44 billion cruise sector, the platform has proven its robustness, reliability, and adaptability in one of themost complex and high-value verticals in travel. This launch will see Fexco further capitalise on the rapid growth of the global payment orchestration market, which is expected to expand from $1.6 billion in 2025 to $6.52 billion by 2030, with a CAGR of 24.7%. For merchants, payUnite solves the problems of fragmented payment ecosystems and global customer bases with increasing demands for modern, flexible payment experiences. It enables merchants to maintain their independence throughout their payments stack, preventing vendor lock-in and ensuring vendor flexibility through orchestration. For acquirers, payUnite is an ally - reducing risk, unlocking more volume, optimising transaction flows, and delivering higher performance via intelligent routing. Sean Crowe, CEO of Fexco's Financial Services Division, said, "We've built a resilient and intelligent platform that delivers payments for some of the world's most operationally intensive and geographically dispersed merchants. Now, we're taking that proven infrastructure into hospitality, airlines, and retail - verticals where we see massive potential for optimisation, independence, and orchestration-driven growth." In addition, payUnite will deliver to its cruise, airline, retail and hospitality clients the following benefits Alternative Payment Methods including Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL): payUnite comes with pre-integrations to offer BNPL payment options at checkout, driving higher average transaction values while also reducing cart abandonment. For example, one of Fexco's partners, Affirm, has helped travel brands increase average order values by up to 48% and secure customer bookings 45% earlier. Card Tokenisation: payUnite has a card tokenisation engine that delivers a seamless payment experience, reduces customer friction and fully adheres to stringent data protection regulations like PCI DSS. Smart Acquirer Routing: payUnite will improve transaction approval speed and lower transaction costs, accelerating receivables for merchants from acquirers by facilitating risk diversification across acquirers. Omnichannel Payments: payUnite delivers both Online and POS Payments in a unified platform, delivering a seamless customer experience, improved data insights and enhanced security. Reporting and Reconciliation Engine: payUnite will automate processes, reduce errors, streamline operations, improve cash flow management, enhance compliance, and optimise resource use, lowering back-office costs. Value Added Services: Fexco's Dynamic Currency Conversion unlocks additional merchant revenue, fraud management reduces fraud and friction, and chargeback management minimises losses. payUnite builds on Fexco's OpenConnect, simplifying and securing the payment journey. It integrates multiple payment and security technologies for a seamless transaction experience for acquirers, merchants, and customers. See more stories here. I had a wonderful conversation with Josh Elledge about strategies for generating inbound leads and moving away from outdated, spammy marketing tactics. Here are the key points from their conversation: Shift from Outbound to Inbound Marketing: Traditional outbound methods like sending unsolicited emails are no longer effective. Consumers, including business decision-makers, are overwhelmed and turned off by spam. Josh emphasizes the importance of creating an inbound funnel that attracts potential clients naturally, reducing the emotional toll on marketers. Noble Intent and Authenticity: Success in modern marketing requires leading with noble intent and genuine empathy. Businesses should prioritize the needs and desires of their customers over their own sales goals. Transparency and authenticity are crucial. Consumers can detect when a business's primary motive is self-serving, which can drive them away. Utilizing Platforms for Networking: Platforms such as podcasts, YouTube channels, or Facebook groups can be powerful tools for building authority and networking. By highlighting and celebrating others, businesses can create reciprocal relationships with leaders and potential clients. Josh has successfully launched many B2B podcasts, which he describes as the ultimate networking tool for building relationships and authority without needing to sell aggressively. Generosity as a Strategy: Leading with generosity and providing value upfront is essential in today's business environment. Creating a "butterfly garden" of valuable content and resources can attract clients more effectively than chasing them down with aggressive sales tactics. This approach involves understanding and empathizing with the target audience's values and pain points, offering solutions that resonate with them. The Power of a Platform: Building and leveraging a platform allows businesses to earn time with high-level leaders and create opportunities for collaboration. This can be done by using one's own platform or collaborating with others. The key is to focus on serving and celebrating others, which naturally leads to reciprocity and business growth. Eric and I had a great time learning about Classset, a platform that connects skilled trades workers with potential employers. Here's a 3-paragraph summary: Classset was founded by Cooper Newby and his co-founder Nick Jones, who were inspired by their previous experience recruiting blue-collar workers and their belief in the potential of the skilled trades. They saw a need for a platform that would help people learn about and access skilled trades careers, and Classset was born. Classset offers a variety of resources for both job seekers and employers. Job seekers can find information about different trades, compare salaries and training requirements, and even build profiles showcasing their skills and experience. Employers can post job openings, screen candidates, and connect with qualified workers. Classset also has a focus on mentorship and apprenticeship programs, recognizing the importance of hands-on learning in the skilled trades. Classset is still a relatively new platform, but it is growing rapidly. The company has developed a number of innovative features, such as the "Periodic Table of Skilled Trades" and a free applicant tracking system, to help connect job seekers and employers. With its focus on making skilled trades careers more accessible and attractive, Classset has the potential to make a real difference in the lives of many people. AI prescreening and recruiter screening for candidates weeds out the 40% of candidates who are unresponsive so you only interview people who fit your 'must have criteria'. Companies simply funnel the marketing spend that they would put into other job boards and we manage all the ads and screening for companies. At the end of the day, trades companies and candidates are only getting busier so we want to make it as easy for people to connect and advance their careers. In this episode of "The Afraid Don't Get Paid," Candace discusses the first step in becoming a known leader online - deciding that one is a leader. The saying "You are what you think you are" applies here, as believing that one is a leader will cause them to act like one and become one. Additionally, one's confidence in their abilities will inspire others to believe in them as well. According to renowned Christian author Leroy Eims, a leader is someone who sees more, farther, and before others do. Being a leader is not just about having the title or position but having the vision, passion, and ability to inspire others to follow one's message and mission. Candace debunks the myth that coaches need to know exactly what their brand is from the beginning. Instead, she encourages listeners to let their leadership create their brand. Candace explains that a personal brand is the foundation of one's online presence and represents who they are, what they stand for, and how they can help their clients achieve their goals. To create a compelling personal brand, Candace shares tips and strategies that have worked for her and other successful coaches. She explains how to build a strong personal brand by taking the initiative to create new ideas, responding to market gaps and needs within one's content and coaching, and creating a movement by building one's platform, gathering like-minded people, and leading the way. Follow Candace on Instagram: @candacechatman_Visit her website: https://candacechatman.com/Check out The CEO VIP Weekend Experience in D.C.What's included in this Experience:5 hours together virtually or here in D.C. covering Sales ContentLifestyle strategyBrand photoshoot Website redesign Luxury experienceEverything you need from systems, to mindset to making your first $100k this year.MAJOR BONUS ALERT: If you join me in person, you will also get a luxury photoshoot at one of the best hotels in D.C. If you don't like the way online speech is regulated, can you build your own internet where you make the rules? This is the story of Rumble, the new king of alt-tech. Rumble started as a small video streaming platform, hoping to rival YouTube. Recently, it has become the site of choice for Americans frustrated with YouTube moderation, and moved its headquarters to Florida - hailed by some as the new Silicon Valley. Rumble had been eligible for an economic development incentive grant as part of the move, but the package was scrapped following protests from some locals and Rumble did not receive taxpayer money. Now, the company is seeking to build the infrastructure for an internet ecosystem that is “immune to cancel culture”. In this episode, we trace the company's journey from Canadian start-up to Floridian big tech challenger, and ask what this means for the future of public debate online. You are serving the Lord Christ.”Alright, let's dive into the particulars. My name is Jennifer Palmer and I am the host of OnlineForAuthors and other podcasts. I am recording this for my guest profile. I'm going to start guesting on podcasts. So this is my sizzle reel, I guess... So a little bit about me.. I was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I've lived in Houston, Texas; Banff, Alberta; Dewinton, Alberta; Okotoks, Alberta in that order and I've always come home to Calgary. Calgary is my home. I worked through high school in restaurants and after high school I helped run a cafe in Banff. That was my first endeavor as an entrepreneur. It was a short one. Until 1992, I was working in hotels. The summer of 92 I was placed as a receptionist in a financial planning firm. That September, began 18 years for me in the financial services industry. In 2005, I became an independent financial planner. Back into being an entrepreneur and building my own business. So, I've been in and out of the entrepreneurial space for many years. I virtually stayed in the space with one foot or the other. I've worn many, many hats. In 2005, I was a new Mom and at that time, I spent a lot of time consulting families that we're building businesses and wanting to stay home. Either one or both of the parents were looking to "make a life, not just a living" I consulted them on ways to develop systems so that they could maximize their efforts and that included in the online space. I've spent many hours networking; trade shows and marketing online. All of this has evolved as I have grown. I'm like a forever student so... every time I pick up a new book I learned something. Podcasting seemed like the next logical thing to add to my platforms and to authors' platforms as they were looking to get the word out about their books. In 2019, I went into the podcasting space and I love it here. The podcasting industry has opened several doors. An entire community has developed, such a beautiful community. I spoke at a literary conference in August of 2019, after having attended the conference a year before. I noticed that the online presence of the authors didn't match what I was seeing in the room and I offered to help whomever I could, whoever was interested with regards to changing that situation. That's when OnlineForAuthors launched and the interviews with the authors began. I absolutely love to create and build platforms and utilize marketing assets. When I'm not producing podcasts and building platforms, I'm reading, writing, and spending time with my family and my pets. I love the mountains, music and painting. And I'm so looking forward to traveling soon. So, if you think I'd be a great guest on your podcast, send me a message.https://podmatch.com/signup/onlineforauthors #podmatchDescript Audio/Video Editing and Transcription Tools #MadeWithDescriptSupport the show (https://www.buymeacoffee.com/onlineauthors)

How long is too long for a Facebook post? What's the best or optimal number of characters for better engagement? You may be surprised. I was! How do you lower the cost of innovation and maximize the probability of success? Henrik Stamm Kristensen is a serial entrepreneur who has founded five companies, four of which are food technology companies and one of which is a communications platform. After 35 years in the food industry, he is now the Founder and CEO (Chief Moonshot Officer) at BlendHub and the Founder of ChemoMetric Brain. ❗ What PROBLEM is BlendHub solving? It's a human right to know what we are putting into our mouths. Unfortunately, food industries are mostly B2B. It will require time and patience to educate them, in order to eventually reach the end consumer.

Episode 32  Tricia’s Tips on Platform Building On this episode, Rob asks Tricia to serve as his consultant for a talk he needs to give that very night (as they are recording).  CFCArts, a performing arts organization in Central Florida, asked Rob to teach a workshop on the topic of how to start a podcast.  Rob said yes—and then decided he would need his sister’s input on this topic! He and Tricia agreed that they aren’t “all about numbers” for their podcast, but on the other hand, numbers represent people, and they are, indeed, all about people.  Their podcast has had over 10,000 downloads to this point, and are thankful for the listeners that made this achievement happen so quickly. Rob asked Tricia to share what she has learned in building a platform of listeners, and together they discuss the following tips (with strong follow-up details): Find someone really fun to do it with—someone you love and trust.  Sharing the process makes it enjoyable. Be patient with yourself in the learning process, and commit to an attainable number of episodes you will do.  Then finish your first season and call it done! Showing up to your work and thinking hard is a useful process for any kind of creative work. Building your platform is not designed for your own fame.  Your purpose must be deeper than that: about helping others, whether there are 10 people or 10,000.  You carry a responsibility to help them. Write or record something every week.  Commit to something; accomplish something for your audience. Be faithful to the audience you have.  Build a relationship with your audience. Make it a dialogue. “When you toss the ball to them and they catch iand toss it back, catch it!” Post regularly.  Don’t disappear. Decide on a realistic time frame for your posting, and then commit to that.  Show UP. Pay attention to what gets traffic.  Your readers or listeners will show you what they like by the numbers of readers or listeners you have on each episode. “Love what loves you back!” Have a very small editing committee, just a couple of people whose opinions you really trust. Keep the long view in sight.  Don’t worry if you don’t get a thousand readers your first month; if you add even a few more listeners every week, before long you’ll have loyal readers or listeners. Don’t need anything from your audience.  Don’t ask them to buy things, share things or do things. Just give to them. Don’t ask them to listen to what only your therapist should hear. Their job is not to validate you. “Only give away in stories what is healed and whole.” Be so good that they can’t ignore you! “Writing is breathing for me. I read to inhale; I write to exhale.” – Tricia Resources Mentioned in this Episode: Todd Henry, who writes of having “a body of work,” not just one thing you do as an artist.  Seth Godin – no actual quote, but an agreement to quote him no more than once per episode! Seth writes his blog every day, not for his readers to read, but for him to genuinely think.
