You'll learn why every front-end offer is just the first step—and how your upsells must guide buyers across their next hurdle. I'll walk you through the mindset shift that turns $50 buyers into $300 customers, the two biggest mistakes killing your upsell conversions, and how to map out simple, logical bridges that unlock real scale. If you're building funnels, selling digital products, or trying to crack the low-ticket code—this episode is your roadmap to making every step count.

In episode 287, I dive into some exciting strategies to help veterinary practices not just survive but truly thrive as we head into 2025. With my background in managing over $38 million in ad spend specifically for veterinary hospitals, I've gathered some valuable insights into effective marketing strategies, content creation, and client engagement. In this episode, I break down these strategies into actionable steps, aiming to guide you through the ever-evolving marketing landscape with confidence and clarity. One of the key topics I explore is the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on marketing. While AI's evolution has been a bit slower than anticipated, its potential to revolutionize content creation and customer engagement is undeniable. I predict that 2025 will be a pivotal year for AI-driven tools, especially in areas like content automation and customer service chatbots. Imagine being able to generate blog posts, social media updates, and email newsletters effortlessly with AI tools like Jasper or Copy.ai. Plus, implementing AI chatbots on your website can handle common inquiries and appointment bookings, freeing up your staff for more complex tasks. But as AI makes content creation easier, the quality and relevance of your content become crucial. That's why I emphasize the importance of standing out by leveraging your unique experiences and insights to connect with clients on a deeper level. Whether it's through niche expertise or compelling storytelling, these strategies can help you build a loyal community around your practice. Another significant focus of the episode is on creating hyper-personalized offers. Understanding your clients' specific needs and preferences allows you to tailor services that truly resonate with them. By segmenting clients using your CRM based on factors like pet type, age, and health conditions, you can craft targeted offers that speak directly to each segment. Additionally, developing a value ascension ladder can guide clients from initial services to more comprehensive care options, encouraging them to explore additional services that benefit their pets. I also discuss the importance of retention marketing systems, such as personalized follow-up campaigns and client appreciation events, to nurture long-term relationships. Investing in a robust CRM system is crucial for automating follow-ups, managing client communications, and tracking engagement. By focusing on these strategies, you can enhance client engagement, drive growth, and ensure your practice is well-prepared for the future. If you're looking for more personalized advice, feel free to reach out to me via LinkedIn or through the Veterinary Marketing Podcast website. I'm here to help your practice succeed in the coming years!

Mandi Ellefson is a long time friend and returning guest to The Sales Podcast. We explore the evolution of business ownership and the challenges faced by CEOs and we discuss her book, 'Hands Off CEO,' which addresses the struggle of business owners feeling trapped by their own success. We get into the balance between systematization and customization in service delivery, the importance of understanding client impact, and the necessity of feedback loops. Mandi emphasizes the significance of creating compelling offers and the dual approach of mindset and systems for growth, and we also touch on effective sales strategies, the power of storytelling, and the value of building relationships in outreach efforts. Finally, Mandi shares insights on marketing strategies and the importance of showing up with value, culminating in a discussion about her upcoming retreats and the transformative experiences they offer. Takeaways Mandi's book 'Hands Off CEO' addresses the challenges of successful business owners. Many CEOs feel trapped by their own success, leading to burnout. Finding the right balance between systematization and customization is crucial. Feedback loops are essential for understanding client impact and success. Business owners often get pulled into service delivery, limiting scalability. Identifying core problems in sales can lead to more effective solutions. Creating scalable offers requires a focus on the 80/20 rule. Transformational outcomes should be engineered based on client needs. Sales strategies must balance authority and collaboration with clients. Mindset and systems are both necessary for sustainable growth. 00:00 Revisiting the Journey: A Seven-Year Reflection 03:39 Finding Balance: Systematizing vs. Customization 05:46 Understanding Client Impact: The Importance of Feedback 08:59 The Role of the Business Owner in Service Delivery 12:43 Creating Scalable Offers: The 80/20 Rule 15:38 Transformational Outcomes: Engineering Services for Success 18:24 Sales Strategies: Balancing Authority and Collaboration 20:57 Mindset and Systems: The Dual Approach to Growth 22:40 Tactical Sales Techniques: What Really Works 24:52 Crafting Compelling Offers: The Art of Specificity 27:19 Inbound vs. Outbound: The Power of Storytelling in Sales 30:39 Building Relationships: The Key to Successful Outreach 32:28 Recognizing Opportunities: The Shift in Client Mindset 34:36 Effective Marketing: Strategies for Engagement 36:52 The Importance of Value: Showing Up with Coffee 40:54 Retreats and Transformation: The Value of Experience 43:48 Final Thoughts: Where to Find Mandi's Work Guest Site: https://handsoffceo.com/book Guest Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/handsoffceo Guest LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/mandiellefson/ Guest Instagram: @handsoffceo and @mandiellefson Guest X: @mandiellefson Join The Inner Circle: https://info.wesschaeffer.com/inner-circle-silver ----- Connect with me: Twitter -- https://twitter.com/saleswhisperer LinkedIn -- http://www.linkedin.com/in/thesaleswhisperer/ Podcast -- https://feeds.libsyn.com/44487/rss BUSINESS GROWTH TOOLS https://12WeeksToPeak.com https://CRMQuiz.com https://MakeEverySale.com

In this episode of the Well-Oiled Operations™ podcast, Stacy takes us through a transformative journey with guest Alicia Ybarra, a bridal gown designer mastering Generation Z marketing techniques, who recently achieved phenomenal success. Together, they dive into Alicia's bold moves and innovative strategies, highlighting how businesses can significantly enhance their profits and operational efficiency. Alicia discusses the implementation of a reactivation campaign, initially deemed unsuitable for her bridal business model. Demonstrating her adaptability and innovative spirit, Alicia generated a remarkable $36,956 in just 30 days. The episode further delves into how she effectively used text messaging and video campaigns to connect with Generation Z clients, leading to a substantial increase in sales and the strategic expansion of her product line to include menswear. Also in this episode: Adapting a one-time reactivation campaign into a long-term, effective sales strategy is a transformative approach for businesses, even if initially it seems unsuitable for their specific industry. Embracing text and video messaging caters to the communication preferences of a target audience, leading to significant increases in engagement and sales. The generation-specific approach proved critical, with emojis in texts resonating better with Generation Z, while the same strategy might not work with an older demographic. Sales-driven mindset and focus on problem-solving have been the bedrock of her thriving in an industry that experiences constant shifts. Reinforcement of the mantra not to give up, highlighting the importance of mindset and resilience in overcoming day-to-day business challenges. Alicia Ybarra Alicia has built Vanya Designs Bridal from the ground up. It started in her basement and has blossomed into the premier design house in the nation! Alicia's passion is bringing your dreams to life and she loves everything bridal and formal. Her mission is to help you feel beautiful and loved in your own skin! When she isn't working she loves gardening and Crossfit. Alicia graduated with her Masters Degree in Apparel and Textiles from KSU in 2003. She won the prestigious Entrepreneur Award from Kansas State University in 2022. Alicia's Phenomenal Sprint of our program earning $36,956.00. How did she do it? Between herself and her team, they texted 600 brides about their couture sale, tuxedo rentals, and gown preservations. They closed 27 wedding gown alterations, 2 custom wedding gowns, 2 tuxedo parties, and a wedding gown preservation. They booked an additional 34 bride or suit appointments over the next 2 months, which are expected to bring in about $30k in sales. They should be able to upsell menswear to at least half of those, potentially bringing in an extra $30k over the next 12 months. She would not have figured out how to make these bookings and sales without the coaching from Stacy, Trisha, and Aleta. She was paralyzed with self-doubt and insecurities and just needed the push to get creative and get the job done! In this episode of the Thoughtful Entrepreneur, your host Josh Elledge speaks to the Digital Marketing Strategist & Fractional CMO of Virtual Marketing Experts, Jennifer Tamborski.About ten years ago, Jennifer established a full-service digital marketing agency. She discovered her passion for helping coaches, consultants, and entrepreneurs who were on the brink of scaling but not yet ready to hire an entire agency. This epiphany shifted her business model, turning Virtual Marketing Expert into a more specialized firm focused on assisting business owners to break through revenue plateaus and generate consistent leads and sales.Jennifer discussed the overwhelming amount of marketing advice bombarding new business owners. From TikTok dances to AI bots, the digital marketing sphere is filled with "hack decks" and promises of quick fixes. Jennifer stressed the importance of foundational work. Crafting a clear message and deeply understanding one's ideal client are key. Jennifer also discussed less favorable marketing tactics, such as cold DMing, which she doesn't recommend. She likens it to proposing marriage upon first meeting someone at a bar—unlikely to lead to long-term success and, frankly, exhausting. Instead, Jennifer advocates for attraction marketing, where potential clients come to you, making the process more welcoming and less intrusive.Regarding AI tools like ChatGPT, Jennifer finds them incredibly useful for generating ideas and initiating copywriting tasks. However, she warns against using AI-generated content verbatim. These tools are meant to assist, not replace, human creativity and strategy. They can enhance work but not create a personalized marketing or sales strategy that will endure.Key Points from the Episode:Interview with Jennifer Tamborski, founder of Virtual Marketing ExpertJennifer's background and pivot from a full-service digital marketing agency to focusing on helping coaches, consultants, and entrepreneursDiscussion on the challenges faced by business owners in marketing and scaling their businessesStrategies for effective marketing and attracting clientsDislike cold messaging as a marketing tacticUse of AI tools like ChatGPT in marketing and copywritingAbout Jennifer Tamborski:Jennifer Tamborski is a seasoned marketing strategist and guide dedicated to helping businesses navigate the complexities of marketing with clarity and purpose. Her approach involves crafting bespoke marketing strategies that resonate with the brand and target audience, eliminating guesswork, and providing personalized solutions. With a commitment to simplifying the marketing process, Jennifer collaborates with clients to develop a roadmap that reaches ideal customers and fosters sustainable growth.About Virtual Marketing Expert:Virtual Marketing Expert is a team that empowers coaches, consultants, and course creators seeking substantial advancements in their businesses.
