LAUNCH ALERT* - https://club.tamilpreneur.in/ Today is Thiru. K Kamarajar's birth anniversary. One of the greatest reformers of education in TamilNadu who was instrumental in starting around 21,000 Elementary schools, 27,000 Primary schools, 450 libraries across Tamilnadu during 1950s. The education rate which was only 7% that time rose to 37%. As a result of this, today Tamilnadu's Gross Enrollment Ratio in Higher Education is at 50% (top 3 in India). At the same time, I came across States Startup Report 2019 where Tamilnadu was not even in top 20 out of the 28 states in India. I was disappointed as this continued in 2020 as well. We spoke to over 700 students and found that one in every two students has got an idea to try but lack the awareness on how to proceed further. So, there is a huge potential among college students to change this scenario.  They don't know whom to reach out to. They don't have the motivation. Today on Kamarajar's birth Anniversary, we are happy to launch TP Club. What is TP Club? A digital forum that showcases everything that revolves around startups and entrepreneurship in Tamil Nadu. Why Should you join ? You can find your team, mentor, co-founder, and even interact with the entrepreneurs who have been there done that. On top of this you can stay updated about Startup News and Events. Few people have also landed up on internship, jobs at startup through TP club. There are already hundreds of people who are also startup founders, Alumni from top institutions like IITs /IIMs, and aspiring entrepreneurs in the club. TamilPreneur will be a light bearer to the startup ecosystem in Tamilnadu. What Kamarajar did to education in TN, we will do it for the Startup Ecosystem. Till date, we have educated 100k people about entrepreneurship & startups through our podcast that covers interviews of entrepreneurs, courseware on how to startup and business case studies. The launch of TP club will be an opportunity to take this initiative to even more people. Anybody interested in entrepreneurship can click the below link and join the Club. Please do share so that the entire community gets benefitted.

This week we are privileged to have the great Gregory Thornbury, author of Why Should the Devil Have All the Good Music and some terrific essays as well, notably this one on QAnon, to talk with us about The Devil and Daniel Johnston, Jeff Feuerzeig’s 2005 documentary about the late, supernaturally gifted, near-unknown singer-songwriter whose struggles with bipolar disorder kept him out of the public eye even as he amassed a following of similarly talented people. Also, demons.Demonology is something we talk about a little on the podcast when we watch The Exorcist or Hereditary; here we get a lot more intense about it, and Greg shares some of his own observations and experiences and I just want to say I’m really grateful to him for being so open and honest with us and with all of you. We hope you dig this one. Also if you’re just in it for good music, you’ve come to the right place, and you can listen to new, happy, funky, countrified stuff from Greg’s amazing daughter Kate Thornbury on Spotify, too. FAS CPA & CONSULTANTS

In many occasions when you owe money to the IRS for unpaid tax, you may be unable to settle your debt at once. Having in mind that the total sums sometimes can exceed tens of thousands of dollars it's understandable that most people won't have that kind of extra cash to pay the owed amount in one go. In fact, statistics show that only 5% - 10% of tax debt cases are paid in full. What happens with the remaining? The most common scenario sees taxpayers applying for Installment Agreements. The IRS offers payment alternatives if you can't pay in full. A short-term payment plan may be an option. You can ask for a short-term payment plan for up to 120 days. A user fee doesn't apply to short-term payment plans. Why Should you Apply for an Installment Agreement? Many people who can't afford to pay their tax debt try to get an Offer in Compromise. However, as we've written before, this process is complex and you must cover specific requirements to be granted an OIC. In reality, the figure, which shows the number of cases resolved through an Offer in Compromise is very low, only 0.37%. In some other cases (15%) the tax debtors will be deemed Currently Non-Collectible (CNC) for your particular case. CNC is only awarded to taxpayers who are broke, living under the poverty line. After 10 years, their tax debt is extinguished. You can also ask for a longer term monthly payment plan or installment agreement. A $149 user fee applies to monthly payment plans or installment agreements that can be reduced to $31 if payments are made by direct debit. Check the video version Click for more Info

Dr. Thornbury is Vice President for Development at the New York Academy of Art in New York City and the author of Why Should the Devil Have All the Good Music: Larry Norman and the Perils of Christian Rock. Over the course of the conversation we talk about problematic ways of conceiving of “cultural engagement,” bad forms of Christian art, and why the rock star Larry Norman was such a helpful model for what it means to be a Christian in the arts. One of the more intriguing aspects of the conversation is the notion of ”kayfabe,” which comes from the arena of professional wrestling, referring to the illusions of real fighting, but actually isn't. Dr. Thornbury uses this concept as a fascinating metaphor for dishonest art. Team members on the episode from The Two Cities include Amber Bowen, Dr. Josh Carroll, Dr. John Anthony Dunne, Rev. Daniel Parham, and Dr. Logan Williams.

How to Crush Your Fears for Massive Growth

The Daily Mastermind

All of us have challenges and fears in our life that we are faced with from time to time. Sometimes these fears are minor and sometimes they can become extremely debilitating. Either way, we only truly grow and succeed when we face our fears.  Most of us have heard the phrase: True Success and Growth is created outside your comfort zone.   I love this statement because it reminds me to focus on the opportunities that are presented to me whenever a challenge or fear is put in my path.  I have experienced time and time again the success and fulfillment that has come into my life by facing my fears and “leaning into what I fear most”. There has never been a better time to learn and act on this principle than now. Our business, social, and economic environment is placing many fears in our path and I believe we can use this as an opportunity to Learn more about Ourselves, Grow our Success, and Create an Amazing Life of Fulfillment and Prosperity. But it will require some Bold, Courageous, and Intentional Actions on our part. I hope this message might inspire you to do just that… The Time I Walked Away from $250k. There have been many times that I have had to face my fears in difficult situations and life events. However, I can think of one in particular that really pushed me to a new level.   I was twenty-nine years old and had built a successful sales team for a leading online stock education company.  I was doing very well financially and had built a team consistently generating me over $250k per year.  More importantly, I was married and had 5 kids at the time. I had built a relationship with an individual that owned a small events company doing about $20M per year in revenue with about 20 employees. This individual had presented me with the opportunity to walk away from my “cush” “job” and become the CEO of his company.  I'm not sure what he saw in me, and I certainly did not feel qualified for the position.  But, I was faced with the challenge or opportunity to walk away from an already built $250k per year to earn a commission (only on profit) of helping him to grow his company.   I saw the potential, but it was a thought that literally terrified me.  I had worked very hard to create the level of success I had created (from the ground up) and knew that it would require some serious “heavy lifting” to jump ship and move to the next level with this offer.  I spent many long, stressful, and thoughtful days considering the offer. I knew that I wanted to go to the next level.  The opportunity appeared to be sound but I would give up a solid (bird in the hand) income for an upside that was not guaranteed in any way.  To say I was scared to make the move would be an understatement.  But ultimately, I chose to make the move and I have never looked back.  In hindsight, that move is what gave me an incredible amount of experience, success, relationships, and life skills.  It was a bumpy ride (which we can cover at another time), but we were able to grow the company to over $200M in net collected revenue with over 300 employees in 5 short years.  This was a perfect example of leaning into my Fear in order to Grow and Create Success. What do you Fear Most? The question I have for you is, “What is it that you fear right now in your professional life?”  Is there an opportunity that you have been considering or presented with?  Is there a skill that you have put off learning or developing? Is there a personal passion that you have wanted to start building a business around?  Are there investing opportunities that you don't feel qualified to start learning and doing?  Maybe you have some current challenges or problems in your life or business that you simply don't feel qualified to deal with. Maybe you have a relationship or a family matter that you can't seem to get up the courage to start working on. Regardless of what the fear is that is present in your life, I can promise you that your “Greatest Accomplishments”…Your Best Life…is waiting just beyond that challenge or fear. See, I believe that your Fear is there for a reason that will benefit you.  Maybe it's your gut telling you that you need to address it. Maybe it's your subconscious mind identifying to you an area that you can learn and grow from. Don't get me wrong, I believe that fears can be real (in life and especially in our minds), but I also believe most FEAR is something we create to avoid problems in our lives…simply put it is “false events appearing real.”  Maybe another way to look at FEAR is to see it as an opportunity, or a Highlighted area for Growth rather than a red flag to run away from. Either way, you were meant to do great things and can only accomplish your best life by addressing the road blocks holding you back from Greatness. Why Should you START with Fear? What can we hope to gain from facing our fears and How do we actually start Crushing those fears?… Here are just a few (of many) reasons to Face Your Fears: Gateway to Results- facing your fears can give you valuable experience that you can use to grow, build, and learn strategies to execute at a higher level in the future. Remember that even failure carries with it knowledge that will improve your skills moving forward. Personal Growth- the fastest way to grow is to stretch yourself.  This will most certainly happen when you face your fears.  You learn new ways to accomplish your goals, and you are forced to adapt to a new environment. Increased Fulfillment- personal growth is one of the most important ways to feel a greater amount of fulfillment and passion in your life.  Truly living only happens when we are growing personally and professionally.  Facing your fears is an amazing way to do this. Build Confidence & Belief- As we face our fears, we build confidence and belief in our own abilities to handle life and the amount of uncertainty we have in life.  The experience that comes from dealing with fear creates new beliefs that we can handle any situation in life, and this will create more confidence in our ability to stop dealing with even greater challenges in the future. I can go on and on about the positive benefits that come with facing your fears.  I also know that there can be difficult, emotional, and negative experiences that come with facing our fears.  Rejection, Failure, and Setbacks can also come with facing your fears, but remember this… Anything that you can Learn from a Situation can be turned into a Positive if you will just Make the Decision that it will help you Grow and do better in the Future. How to Start Crushing Your Fear? Let's talk about how you can start Crushing Your Fears and some ideas I have for helping you Take Action… I've learned all kinds of ways to deal with fear, challenges and struggles in my life.  I wrote down a few of the Empowering Thoughts, Techniques, and Disciplines that I have learned and used over the years, and here are a few of the best ideas I can give you: Say Yes, then Figure it Out- Most every 7-Figure mentor that I know has adopted the idea that they will act on opportunity and figure it out along the way.  You don't need to know everything to take action. Good is Good Enough- Taking action on your dreams, desires and opportunities is good enough.  Don't wait for confidence to tackle your fears.  Confidence comes after you push through your fears. Focus Your Energy- When you are leaning into fear, you must create space to focus your time, energy, and talent so you can develop the skills needed to handle the challenge.  Don't multitask when facing your fears. Surrounding yourself with Positive- Facing fears can be scary, but you can build up your confidence, belief, and abilities by surrounding yourself with others that have already faced similar fears.  They can help you benefit from belief transference, positive influence, and support along the way. Eliminate Distractions- The best way to deal with your fears is to block out some time and hit them head on. Don't allow distractions, easy ways out, and others to distract you from your objective and focus on conquering your fears. Do Less Not More- The key to handling your fears is not to take everything on all at once.  Don't feel you need to do it all.  Just simply take the first step.  Most times, the answers, details, and solutions come along the way.  The path to dealing with your fears will most of the time reveal the solutions you are looking for along the way. Ultimately, there is no magic pill or easy way to get through facing your fears. You are the only one equipped to handle your fears.  You are the only that can face them.  But, if you will remember and adopt the idea that “Everything happens for a reason and that reason is there to Benefit me”, then your perspective will drive your experience.  True or not, that will empower you to create an experience of growth and learning rather than failure, disappointment, and struggle. WARNING:  Don't Let This Happen! I have a thought that came to me, and it is a simple (but serious) word of caution or warning. Sometimes we fail to recognize that the opportunity or situation “already present in our life” is what we fear dealing with the most.  As a result, we (as entrepreneurs, investors, or just humans) use new opportunities as excuses to “Not deal with Fear we currently have”.  Let me give you an example.  So many times I have seen entrepreneurs or individuals chase shiny objects (new opportunities) in order to find a “way out” of working hard and dealing with the struggles they may be currently facing. You cannot move from opportunity to opportunity thinking you are “operating outside your comfort zone” or facing new challenges, when you are truthful just avoiding finding solutions to your current situation.  Learn to face your fears regardless of where they are present in your life. You Can Do It!! I know we all have greatness inside of us.  I know that we are given challenges for a reason and that reason is to grow and develop the best versions of ourselves.  This is not a destination driven objective.  It is a path based journey. We learn, grow, and develop along the way for our entire lives. When you fall in love with the process…the path…then you release your need for the end result.  When you stop fixating on the end result, you can start to really enjoy the process more.   You are on a path that rewards the person willing to Lean into their Fears with the Benefit of Prosperity, Personal Growth, and Happiness.  By avoiding your fears you are left with disappointment, regret, and failure.  After all, you will miss 100% of the shots you don't take. You will Benefit from 100% of the shots you take (regardless of scoring points) if you Learn something from every shot. Wayne Dyer said that as we all look back on the Tapestry of our Lives we will gain a better perspective and the Meaning and Purpose of our Challenges become more clear. It is my hope that when you look back on your life, you are Happy and Confident that you Leaned into your Fear…that you took the risks…that you embraced change…that you learned to love the process of Growth.  I am working on that every day, and I believe you can too.  You can do it.  You have the abilities to handle anything if you will simply put your mind, effort, and resolve to doing it. What the mind can conceive and believe it CAN achieve.  So, Start Creating Your Best Life Today.

Is it better to post Daily or Weekly content? That's a great question, right? You probably know that I post daily but you might not know that I've been posting daily since 2015. I hear leaders say that posting once a week is good enough. Your fans can't possibly keep up with your daily content. You'll loose fans if you post daily. Why post daily or weekly? For me, I think it's about the reason you post. You gotta ask yourself if you are posting to grow your audience or to nurture your audience. I agree that if you have an audience already and you're not looking to grow it, posting weekly is probably best. However, if you are trying to grow your audience, you'll want to keep posting daily. Sure, your quality won't be as good as if you spent the whole week creating it, but let's be honest… will you really spend more time creating the content if you do it weekly? Why Should you post weekly? Personally, I think I would post... Details, credits, errata: This week Sam and Alissa talk about Donald W. Thompson’s kitsch classic/terrifying youth group mainstay A Thief in the Night, a trim 68-minute horror film about the Rapture, which, Sam was annoyed to learn after having rented it twice on Amazon, is available for free on Tubi, as is are its sequels. Our guest is the wonderful Elizabeth Spiers, who wrote an absolutely terrific piece about the downfall of Jerry Falwell, Jr. and the conservative heirarchy of sin for the New York Review of Books, which we discuss briefly and recommend to you highly. We also mention Corrie Ten Boom’s 1971 Christian Holocaust memoir The Hiding Place, which may be of interest to non-evangelical listeners and is avaialble from The Internet Archive here; and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association’s series of films, which are available through the BGEA’s deal with Amazon and are generally of higher quality than A Thief in the Night. At some point we’ll get around to the movie of The Hiding Place or maybe Joni. Sam offhandedly mentions the upsetting story of Fr. Andras Kun; he is remembered here, at the US Holocaust Memorial Museum’s excellent website. We also talk about Larry Norman, the godfather of Christian rock, and Alissa recommends a well-regarded biography of Norman, Why Should the Devil Have All the Good Music? by Gregory Thornbury. Our episode art on the website this week is Empty Roads, a photo of Times Square in the twilight, made freely available by the photographer Julien Reidel through his Unsplash page, and used with our thanks. Our theme song is Louis Armstrong and His Hot 5’s Muskrat Ramble, made freely available by the Boston Public Library and audio engineering shop George Blood, LP through the Internet Archive. A Thief in the Night is copyright 1972 Mark IV Pictures and brief clips from the movie, and from the song I Wish We’d All Been Ready by Larry Norman, are used briefly for review purposes, with no other copyright intended or implied. The end of the Renaissance Man Wouldn't it be cool if there was a "Book Day" Christmas & Easter were co-opted days too A business is a concept - a brand In Defense of Looting - how can you defend looting? You can, if you define that there is no such thing as private property - its the Hegelian Dialectic The Wrap Up Smear - get something false published in a supposedly authoritative publication, then leverage that authority Yahoo News was an aggregator then became a news organization, so it became more authoritative - they really had no authority Car lots on the weekends were like carnivals Marketing is 90% of your business expense and time Looting is a physical manifestation of Marxism. If the property is everyone's, then people are within their rights to steal whats stolen back again They are trying to say that there is no such thing as theft. If the looters were looted then they would be pissed off This book is being used as a justification for looting. Determining the WHY Should we go through the 5 WHYs? Historical steps and/or motivations Loving Learning is great - but what happens when you have learned Who can benefit from what we know? How to market - monetizing and marketing are very different Being F2F is actually an anomaly Can we not manage remotely all the time - we have to make the remote better than in person What is WHY? Part of Six Sigma - has anyone applied the 5 whys to a podcast - motivational interviewing It comes down to internal motivation - the reason things happen is that someone wants something to happen. We will never get to the truth the 5 whys peel away a lot of assumptions Motivational interviewing might be the way to do it.

In this message, Matt Cruz talks about what focus looks like for a believer and he answers the question, "Why SHOULD we focus on God?" Listen to this sermon to learn practical ways of shifting your focus back to God. *If you received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior for the first time, please go to www.hungrygen.com/vip Notes: The Holy Spirit can give you focus. The definition of focus means “the center of interest or activity.” Distraction is the enemy of focus. We are constantly tempted to pull away from a consistent focus on Christ. And as a result, we often find ourselves being tossed to and fro by the concerns of life. How can we stay focused in a world of busyness? - Isaiah 26:3 When we focus on Him, He will give you perfect peace. Think about that..not some peace, or a little peace—but PERFECT peace. You can’t expect God to be the source of your peace if the world is the source of your satisfaction! Our lack of intimacy with God causes a void that we try to fill with the frailest of substitutes. “The more you focus on yourself, the more distracted you will be from the proper path. The more you know Him and commune with Him, the more the Spirit will make you like Him. The more you are like Him, the better you will understand how much you need God for all of life’s difficulties. And that is the only way to know real satisfaction.” Why should we focus on God? 1.) It Positions us to Fulfill God’s Purposes Focusing on what the Holy Spirit is doing puts our eyes on the Father’s intended outcome for a situation. (John 16:12-16) We perceive where the Spirit’s anointing is, and what God is doing so that we can follow Him. Even when a situation is at its worst, we can step back into our spirits and sense what the Holy Spirit desires in that moment. 2.) It Protects us From Error and Deception When our attention is focused on what the enemy is doing, our perspective tends to become distorted. Focusing only on the negative magnifies the problem and can also lead to deception. 3.) It Encourages Intimacy with the Holy Spirit We are called to an intimate relationship with God, and focusing on the Holy Spirit, His anointing, where He is moving and what He is doing encourages our intimate relationship with Him! 4.) It Frees us From Fear - 2 Tim 1:7 Fear is based in deception. The truth is, that no matter what is taking place, the Holy Spirit is more powerful than any demonic power, and we have authority in Jesus’ Name. (Luke 10:19) - Psalm 91:14-15 Our own flaws can distract us from keeping our eyes on Jesus. If we think too much about what is wrong with us, we will forget what God can do through us. We need to pray without ceasing, because the devil is preying without ceasing! Stop talking to God about your problems and start talking to your problems about your God!

They are powerful. By challenging them we can build hope and reclaim our control to stir our life to a better direction.Do a change ever so slightly and see how your confidence changes. James Sinclair is the CEO and co-founder of the EnterpriseAlumni as the market-leading alumni in the retiree engagement platform.  EnterpriseAlumni is a multinational software corporation that develops enterprise software that manages corporate alumni and retirees of large companies like Google, P&G, Pearson, etc.  James has a background in large enterprise innovation and has worked for companies like IBM, SAP, and EDS. He also contributes to media on the future work of large enterprise innovation and entrepreneurship.  What Do You Think About the World of People Working for The Same Company Being Over? The reality of this situation is that people are more mobile, they are more willing to move. They don’t feel the need to stay with a company for life as our fathers or grandfathers did. As there are more opportunities in the market, there is more desire and value in moving elsewhere and getting a diversity of experience. People are going to move jobs, often. There is a saying “My grandfather had one job his whole life, my father had three, and I have three right now.” How Did You End Up in This Field? I have always worked in the large enterprise innovation space with large customers that are moving from on-premise to the cloud. During this, they have to bring the process that they have spent millions of dollars in creating. We taught companies that ANY idea you have, you can bring to market using software inside 90 days. There was no problem as complex that software wasn’t able to adapt to the cloud. So after a lot of investigation and research, we realized that there was a massive gap in available tools, mainly around a challenge in finding the right candidate due to talent shortages and high cost. My solution was that our former employees are the greatest talent pool we can possibly get. So I created my platform, EnterpriseAlumni   What Was the Biggest Challenge You Faced In Your 7 Year Journey In Running EnterpriseAlumni?Today, we are in the middle of a pandemic, and it has forced us to think about our business growth, our customers, and employee status. This has been the biggest test of our company’s resilience and the culture that we have created. At EnterpriseAlumni, our team is like a family. We openly discussed the possible implications of our customers from different sectors, and we know many are suffering. We devised a plan to personally go and take care of all the burdens that they are facing while they work to keep their business running. It was a challenge for us because we had to change our entire business model for them, and they appreciated our gesture.  Why Are Your Ex-Employees Important and What One Should Be Thinking About in Terms of Business Resources? It doesn’t matter if you are a small business or a Fortune 10 company, you spend a lot of time and money on recruiting people, training them, and teaching them how your business works. Then, when they leave, they take all this knowledge and contact with them. This is not the way to off-board someone you have invested a lot of money in. Instead, you can maintain a relationship with them in which you are able to benefit long term. This helps in increasing productivity and boosts the morale of the workforce that is left and gives you the opportunity to re-hire them after they gain more skills and contacts. This will help your business be more successful.  Why Should a Business Have a Smooth Leaving Process? Leaving is inevitable/ In the years that I have worked, I have observed that many employees leave on a bad note because the employers are reluctant to let them go. No matter why they leave, the employer and remaining team feel “betrayed.” These employers fail to see the opportunity and the benefit they could get if they retain a good relationship. If the exit is done smoothly, there is a high chance that they might come back after

Today I want to talk about the goldmine of properties sitting in that stack of returned mail on your desk, and how to use skip tracing and other tools to find these property owners. Stop and think about this for a minute; if you haven’t bothered to find an updated address for these folks, most likely neither has your competition.   These other investors probably also have a big stack of returned mail just sitting on their desk gathering dust. It’s a safe bet that no one is really taking the time to track those motivated sellers down. I want that to change for you after today.  These could be some of the easiest deals you to put together simply because you will have little or no competition. And, I’m going to give you a list of resources you can use to find these folks.   What Exactly is Skip Tracing? Skip tracing is the process of finding someone.  It’s that simple     Why Should you be Skip Tracing? You should be trying to find these property owners because it’s a lot easier than chasing deals everyone else is chasing. There are a number of free and low-cost ways to find these folks. There are also some services that require a subscription.  Right about now you might be tempted to say, “I’m not messing with that”. But, let me ask you this; if you find even a few great deals a year would it be worth investing a little money? You bet.   Let’s just imagine that you have 30 (or more) investors in your area actively doing direct mail. Those are your competitors. Everyone is chasing the same deals. However, what if only one or two of those same investors were working that pile of gold on their desk called return mail? Can you see how valuable those leads are to you?   Listen in as I tell you exactly how to find these leads that are pure gold. Gregor Gregersen is the CEO and founder of https://www.silverbullion.com.sg?RI=S9314 (Silver Bullion Pte Ltd). A gold bullion and silver bullion Singapore dealer as well as The Safe House. A Singaporean Vault company for many types of precious metals; including electric vehicle metals. Gregor Gregersen has lived as an Expat for nearly 38 years, and he actually gave up his German passport to become a Singaporean citizen. In this interview, we talk about why Gregor chose this country to build his vault for gold bullion and silver bullion Singapore and how this led to electric vehicle metals.   What are "Electric Vehicle Metals"? The Electric Vehicle Metals I am referring to are the metals that go into the batteries that power electric cars. These are precious metals and bullion of high grade. They are used in the manufacturing process and compose the bulk of the batteries themselves.   Why Should we care about Electric Vehicle Metals and Batteries? Electric vehicle batteries are becoming too cheap to ignore. In the past 4 years, production costs for EV batteries have fallen by over 70%, thanks to investments from major automakers. Elon Musk thinks that these costs will fall a further 20% by 2020. That would make these batteries cheaper to produce than internal combustion engines.   Special Report on Electric Vehicle Metals After recording the interview with Gregor Gregorson I got massively interested in the topic of electric vehicle metals as an investment.   I took everything I learned from Gregor plus a couple of hundred hours of research and I compiled it down into a special report. In this special report, I break down why electric vehicle metals is a space you should really be paying attention to, what the opportunities are, what the pitfalls are and most importantly how you can get involved. I think you will see that the world is changing, fortunes are being made and by the time you hear about it on mainstream media it will be too late and you will have missed your chance.   In my daily life, I travel the world searching for unique opportunities, I put an intense amount of due diligence in my research and when I find something really extraordinary I share it with my subscribers.   This is one of those times...   I was thinking about charging for this special report on electric vehicle metals…. Maybe $97 or $197 or maybe it will be part of a paid subscription newsletter I am working on, I have not decided yet...   In the meantime I don't want to delay, this is timely information and I want to get this special report into your hands as fast as possible… therefore I will let you have a copy of it for free for being a loyal listener of this podcast.   If you really want to dig into electric vehicle metals as an investment; to learn about the opportunities, how to protect your investment and what the exact steps are to get started in the most profitable way possible you can download your copy of the report for free by clicking https://expatmoneyshow.com/evm/ (HERE.)   What Does Gregor Gregersen Store in his Singaporean Vault https://www.silverbullion.com.sg?RI=S9314 (Silver Bullion) Singapore holds all types of precious metals including gold bullion, silver bullion, platinum bullion. They buy, sell and test all types of bullion. And of course, as we talk about in this interview electric vehicle metals.   Conversations on Commodities With Gregor Gregersen I find conversations on commodities like electric vehicle metals really fascinating. I have been speculating on things like this for nearly 10 years now. Sufficed to say a lot of work goes into understanding this.   In the coming months, I will be writing more on investment topics like this. I am working on a paid newsletter where every month you will receive a special report detailing timely opportunities that I uncover in my journey around the... Support this podcast

Ever have the feeling when you are staring at a blank piece of paper that you're not sure what to draw? Clark Huggins had this same problem. He found he was spending extra time and putting extra pressure on himself before he ever put his brush to the canvas - and he realized that all he wanted to be doing was making art. To get around this he took out some index cards and wrote down different ideas and then shuffled the deck. He then chose 3 cards at random and went to work - leaving chance to decide what he was going to create. What he found was that this process allowed him to jump immediately into the creation process and also to tap into truly new and unique ideas by combining elements that he would never have chosen on his own. This discovery led to the creation of the Reckless Deck, where artists can use the exact same process Clark used to come up with new and unique creations. The Reckless Deck is just about to go live on Kickstarter so you can pick up a deck for yourself and get busy creating your own unique creations. Interview Chapters: 00:37 - 02:29 Introductions Mitch introduces today's guest, Clark Huggins, who gives you a quick overview of what Reckless Deck is all about...and how you can use it to help unlock your creativity. 02:53 - 04:31 Why is Reckless Deck Such a Useful Tool for Artists? Clark has taken Reckless Deck to comic conventions and other events across the US. What's the response been like from the public and how are artists using it to help them create original characters? 05:20 - 05:50 How can a Humble Deck of Cards Boost Your Creativity? Why does Reckless Deck help you come up with character ideas so quickly? Clark explains the thinking behind his product in this chapter. 05:58 - 09:37 Where did the Idea to Make Reckless Deck Come From? The idea of Reckless Deck came about through Clark's own experiences as an artist and his desire to start working on a new character as quickly as possible. Find out how this project came to life in this chapter. 09:49 - 13:23 What was the First Character Clark Created Using Reckless Deck? Clark can still remember the first character he created using Reckless Deck. In fact, it's one he's revisited many times since! Find out more in this chapter. 13:33 - 20:01 How did Clark Start Developing His Idea? Reckless Deck began life as a set of index cards Clark made for himself. So how did he develop this idea into a fully-fledged product that people can buy online? You'll discover all the hard work that went into Clark's idea (and how long this process took) in this chapter. 20:33 - 21:35 Why Should you Hire a Graphic Designer to Help With Packaging Your Product? Many artists take it upon themselves to do all the graphic design work on their projects, but this doesn't always give you the professional look you want for a product and its packaging. In this chapter, you'll learn why Clark - despite being fluent in using Photoshop - decided to hand his logo and packaging design over to a specialist. 22:07 - 23:08 How did Clark Find the Right Printing Company to Produce Reckless Deck Finding the right printer at the right cost can sometimes be difficult. In this chapter, you'll hear why Clark chose to use a company in China, and why he was overjoyed with the results - especially when an unexpected issue actually added another feature to his project! 24:03 - 32:30 How did Clark Turn a Kickstarter Fail Into a Win? Clark didn't have an overnight success when he first tried to launch Reckless Deck on Kickstarter. In fact, he had to go back to the drawing board to find out what makes a project successful and get noticed on this site. Find out how he learned from his mistakes and eventually got successfully funded in this chapter. 33:05 - 34:55 How Can You be The First to Hear About New Reckless Deck Products And Offers? If you're excited by Reckless Deck and want to find out more about new releases and special offers, this is one part of the interview you won't want to miss. 35:48 - 36:57 What is it Really Like to Launch a Product Like Reckless Deck? It's easy to listen to Clark talking and imagine the whole process behind making and launching Reckless Deck as being super-easy. But it wasn't. Discover the reality and hard work behind launching any new product successfully in this chapter. 37:45 - 39:00 How Can Reckless Deck Help You as an Artist? Reckless Deck has already helped many concept and fantasy artists get past creative block and searching for ideas. Find out how it can help you too in this chapter. 39:01 - 42:37 Find Our About Special Offers and Swag for Pencil Kings Listeners There are some exciting offers in the bag for anyone who's interested in finding out more about Pencil Kings and Reckless Deck. Find out how you can get your hands on some cool free stuff and special offers in this chapter. 42:39 - 44:00 Conclusion Mitch and Clark wrap up their interview and reveal some more exciting things about Reckless Deck. No, I’m not saying you should wish for negatives in your life, but if you have them, you may actually be able to use them for good!   My guest today is Jean Moroney, a speaker and the President of Thinking Directions. She teaches professionals how to use targeted thinking to solve problems and achieve their goals. Jean offers many courses and resources on her website. Today we’re talking about moving from SHOULD to WANT to CAN and how negatives are really positives in disguise. Come and learn how to improve YOUR thinking! Bio: Jean Moroney works with entrepreneurial people, in and out of corporations, to help them achieve ambitious goals. They learn to think on their feet, get their point across, and take action. Ms. Moroney has an MS in Psychology (CMU, 1994), a BS & MS in Electrical Engineering (MIT, 1985 & 1986), and graduate training in Philosophy from the Ayn Rand Institute. She speaks to audiences all over North America and online in her Thinking Lab program. You’ll discover:   Jean’s superpower: aligning SHOULD and WANT and CAN This principle is the deep solution to many motivational problems Why SHOULD, WANT, and CAN must be aligned SHOULD—the mind, what you think logically that you should do WANT—the emotion, things you desire to do CAN—the facts, what makes sense in reality Why these elements get misaligned How positives and negatives DOOM you How to turn negatives into all positives! Jean’s goals: to discover ideas, teach, and have a successful business Find out what your motivators are How to ask the right questions Action steps to take Make a pro and con list about decisions Narrowing down your top priorities Jean’s daily routines, including a mantra and journaling How to make an AND list Interview Links & Other Resources   ThinkingDirections.com Connect on Twitter Connect on LinkedIn Connect on Facebook Additional Resources: Jean's Video Manifesto The AND list is explained here Get the Smarter Starter Kit Freebie Here   iTunes - Subscribe, Rate & Review

On Podcasting My husband likes to talk. A lot. He's one of those extroverted, bold, constantly yakking, tapping, bobbing, noise-making people. I am NOT one of those people. Other than my preference for loud music, I am a virtually silent person. I appear beside people alone in rooms. Never has this been clearer than our first few attempts at podcasting. See we're planning on having two podcasts; The Stoner Mom Podcast, hosted by me, and more about the stuff I write about. David's GrowCast is about how to grow weed, something I don't really know jack about. So we started recording mine first, and the task was plodding, arduous, and full of the usual Stoner Mom hysterics when forced to speak. Honest to god, it's one of the reasons I smoke weed! I am so uptight, so painfully shy sometimes, I can hardly release my jaws. So I puffed angrily on my bong to loosen up, and then robotically read my scripts (not a good idea for me) and spent hours of our time, only for us to mutually agree that uh... I sucked and need a lot more time than we ever imagined. A few days later we sat down to record his. And yeah, of COURSE he's better than me, and faster, and breezes through it. Ugh. Whatever. It's why I fell in love with him I suppose. He's like the verbal male version of me. Anyway. How to Grow Weed, a Podcast at a time! GrowCast is David's show about growing cannabis! One of the smartest things we ever did was to invest in growing our own medication for me. Cause homies, I smoke a lot of weed. If you are able and fortunate enough to live somewhere where cannabis is legalized in some form (or not), doing a little research into how to grow your own weed (and vegetables, and herbs, and everything else!) can be a great first step in self-sufficiency. One of the problems we encounter when researching, is the overload of information out there. I'm not talking about the good info. I'm talking about the environment one comes across when trying to learn something over the internet. You know. People can be jerks. People like to insist that they are right. Always. Because of course, as we all know, there is ONLY ever ONE way to do things. Obviously. GrowCast is a non-preachy podcast about the most basic ways to grow weed. David and I cover all the basics that will help you get self-sufficient and start producing your own cannabis for your own use. Parents can totally grow their own weed and kids don't have to know a damn thing. In our case we have an entire locked storage room in the basement that our kids have no access to. I think a lot of people in single family homes have space somewhere where they can safely grow their own small, personal supply of weed. GrowCast covers all sorts of strategies for parents and beginners and some like-minded conversation for those already in the know. Everybody has to Start Somewhere Might as well be with a grumpy half-drunk grizzled old man and his stoned wifey. What we promise is that there will be no preaching or demands that you do it this way, or that way, or insistence that only an ignorant n00b would do that. None of that. And, I promise I won't let him talk too much. And he'll promise to incite me enough to talk. Perfect. In GrowCast Episode 1: Meet David! He's my husband. I love him a lot!! Why Should you Grow your own Cannabis? Materials and Supplies. How to Plan your Grow Space. Resources we Love.   We sincerely hope you guys love this episode, and we welcome your feedback, ideas, and topics to cover! Click below, have a listen, and please, get stoned while doing so. Because I am getting stoned throughout. https://thestonermom.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/Growcast-1_mixdown.mp3   music in this episode Argofox Digital Math Hop Up Jenova 7 and Mr. Moods - Run mildtape - Index Dub
