Bello, bello bello bello e ancora bello!Per un instancabile e inguaribile nostalgico come il vostro CaRfa, era praticamente un miracolo che, ancora una volta, He Man e i Dominatori dell'Universo vedessero la luce in una nuova trasposizione cinematografica, dopo il mio assoluto guilty pleasure del 1987 con Dolph Lundgren.Il Principe Adam ed i suoi amici devono combattere le forze del malvagio Skeletor per impedirgli di impossessarsi della Spada del Potere e carpire i segreti del Castello di Grayskull e dominare così su tutta Eternia.Azione pazzesca, umorismo, ambientazioni fatte bene ed effetti visivi di qualità, per un film che pur non essendo esente da difetti, mi ha divertito tantissimo e riempito il cuore di gioia. Sicuramente è un film per i fan e allora? Va benissimo così. Uno splendido giocattolone vintage che fa ciò che deve e riporta alla vita il CaRfa bambino, che ha ancora voglia di giocare con He Man, Man at Arms, Teela, Skeletor, Spikor, Evil Lyn, Beast Man, Battle Cat, Ram Man e tutti gli altri eroi della mia infanzia!

MUSIC Linkin Park are set to make a big announcement today in front of a live audience, but beforehand those in attendance had to sign a waiver. The waiver states that there is an agreement to be transported to and from the venue. That would suggest that the location of the event is not one that the band is anxious to divulge, even to those attending. Thus, it would be harder for people to track down exactly where it is happening and perhaps discern something in advance from the location. Green Day were pulled from the stage for security reasons two verses into their fifth song, "Longview," last night at Comerica Park in Detroit. It turns out the concerns had to do with a drone someone flew into the stadium. Detroit Police Department (DPD) issued a statement that said the band "was taken off stage and shortly...went back on stage to perform." DPD noted that they had located the drone operator outside the park and "detained him...pending further investigation." Scorpions have canceled all of their concert dates for the rest of the month with guitarist Mathias Jabs (Matt-e-us YABS) revealing the extent of injuries he suffered after a nasty fall. Queen guitarist Brian May shared he recently suffered a minor stroke. But not to fear: He's doing okay and can still play! Brian says, quote, "All of a sudden, out of the blue, I didn't have control over [my left] arm, so it's a little scary, I have to say." The first ever Giddy Up Music Festival in Vegas has been canceled. It was supposed to be a three-day event from October 18th through the 20th. The headliners were Megan Moroney, Turnpike Troubadours, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. Chase Rice, Josh Turner, and Elle King were also set to perform QUICKIES: Oasis have added two more shows at London's Wembley Stadium on September 27th and 28th, 2025. The group says, "Tickets will be sold by a staggered, invitation-only ballot process. Applications to join the ballot will be opened first to the many U.K. fans who were unsuccessful in the initial on-sale with Ticketmaster." Weezer will release a 30th anniversary version of "The Blue Album" with 36 unreleased tracks. MOVING ON INTO MOVIE NEWS: It looks like Johnny Depp got his teeth fixed. Per IMDB -On the planet Eternia, Skeletor and his dark army overthrow the Sorceress of Castle Grayskull expecting to acquire her power. He-Man, his old friend Duncan "Man-at-Arms" and his daughter Teela are attacked by Skeletor's soldiers and they defeat them. They also rescue their prisoner, the inventor and locksmith Gwildor. He explains that he was lured by Evil-Lyn that used his invention the Cosmic Key to open the gates and seize the Castle Grayskull. He-Man and his friends retrieve the prototype of the Cosmic Key trying to release the Sorceress but they are defeated by Skeletor and his army and Gwildor uses his key to open and portal for them to flee. They come to Earth but lose the key. Meanwhile, Julie Winston, who grieves the loss of her parents in a plane crash, and her boyfriend Kevin Corrigan find and activate the key, believing it is a foreign musical instrument. On Eternia, Evil-Lyn locates the Cosmic Key and Skeletor sends her with a group of mercenaries and soldiers to vanquish He-Han and his friends and bring the key back. To All 7 of our Fans - Welcome to Season 2 of You Deserve Medals! The year is 1989. Hollywood, in a sudden and brief burst of fascination with the deep ocean, produces two distinct blockbusters months apart, both dealing with the dark and mysterious depths of our undiscovered seas. One of those movies would be directed by an absolute legend and pioneer, leading an all-star cast through a deep and meaningful story while creating and utilizing groundbreaking special effects which forever changed movie production technology. The other one was...none of those things. A horribly written story with unlikable characters and a poorly conceived horror plot with equally horrendous special effects, all exacerbated by a one-dimensional lead actor who approaches every role sounding like a half-robot police officer. Naturally, you can probably guess which movie we landed on for this episode. Join Jay and Benny as we strap on our pressure suits and chug some alien-DNA-changing vodka and dive feet-first into the absolute gong-show that is Leviathan. A plucky crew of underwater miners find a sunken Soviet ship and unwittingly uncover...something? Is it an alien? A failed genetic experiment? Your guess is as good as ours. All we know is that this attempt at horror is so unintentionally hilarious and horrible at the same time that we don't know what to do with our lives. Pro-tip: If you're ever a mile deep into the Atlantic and find some old alcohol in a ship that was torpedoed under mysterious circumstances, you probably shouldn't put it inside you. Slip on those flippers and check your O2 levels as we discuss such hard-hitting details as: Any time a character in a movie talks about how they have a finite number of days left before they get to enjoy permanent peace and tranquility, you know they're going to die horribly. And this movie doesn't disappoint Carlos from Batteries Not Included makes an appearance, which is one of the spookier coincidences we've ever experienced. I mean, what are the odds? Relentless, painfully obvious and neutrally received sexual harassment is almost its own supporting character At some point early on, Peter Weller decided that he would approach every single one of his acting roles with the same sound and cadence as Robocop, and it just makes him sound unsettling We get that the disease the crew catches is reprogramming their DNA and changing them into something else, but it definitely is one of the more visually disgusting illness portrayals in a movie There's a reason why all of the computers and equipment in this movie look similar to Aliens. Mildly curious? Listen to the episode to be marginally satisfied! Evil-Lyn plays generic heartless corporate leader, and has several head-scratching scenes which just seem to have been extended and cut without her doing something vital to progress the story The weapons in this movie - futuristic chainsaws and flamethrowers - SHOULD be the most awesome looking things ever. Spoiler alert: They are not For someone who just lost his entire crew of friends, the chief doesn't seem to feel any of the weight of loss, what with his pithy one-liners and face punching after being rescued
