IHP content is for people who choose the human love narrative, not the human suffering narrative. Don't tune in if you don't love life and humanity because this won't be for you. Don't tune in if you still believe in evil or the devil. Topic not ideal for ego-sensitive or emotionally sensitive (on any/all life - including socio-pol-eco - topics) people. Please do not tune in. Thank you! All IHP content resonates with people who want to achieve enlightenment the human way. IHP podcast host Maria Florio shares voices, stories and perspectives from her 5D mystic enlightenment functional adult life to give examples of what it's like to know emotional self-regulation skills, experience secure attachment, have functional adult conversations and experience 5D relationships (5D and beyond vibing people). You hear about how easy it is to be yourself, to pursue inner growth, to unconditionally love, to have compassion, and live your best life with outer and inner-well being in the forefront. Also explored, how to communicate and handle emotionally insecure adaptive children grown ups, the 3D or 4D vibing individuals, those who stay within insecure emotional human suffering vibration experience and mindset, or who hold drama as the go-to in relationships, or use projection due to unresolved and unaddressed trauma, attachment wounds, and inner child wounds that come up in their behavior. Since trauma is relational and intimacy necessary to heal it, through Maria's stories and perspectives people get an idea of securely attached options on how to handle projection to the best of your ability and create a safe environment for another person to heal or for you to set a healthy boundary if the person bringing the projection (3D/4D drama vibe) is not seeking to move beyond their safety behavior/unresolved trauma emotional response. All of what we do in our day-to-day relationships, conversations, and interactions can bring the potential for healing and expansion of consciousness. This and more is what the IHP content and community is all about. Welcome and thanks for tuning in! Love, Maria ♾️

By letting go of thinking and doing we relax into a state of feeling and being. Within a short time, you become submerged in the stillness of loving awareness. We welcome whatever happens without judgement, allowing the body and mind to let go of stress and relax deeply. Inspired by Amrit Desai.

Michelle interviews Stacy LeBrun of Rooted in Love Yoga about all things yoga. We talk about making yoga accessible to everyone, with freedom to explore. Our conversation covers yoga as self care, embodied worship and prayer, and moving emotion through your body. Over half of Stacy's classes are in rehab or trauma centers, so she approaches her classes with the idea of building strength (not only physically), becoming curious, and finding rest. Both movement and stillness are helpful - in yoga, when connecting with God, and in order to grow spiritually. Stacy Lebrun: rootedinloveyoga.com Stacy is a 500RYT and a 200 ERYT with over 1600 hours of teaching. In addition, she is trained and certified in Nidra, Meditation, Myofascial Release (MFR), and Yin. Recently she became certified as a Wellness, Health and Nutrition coach.

Happy Valentine's Day my fellow travelers! In honor of the Day of Love, we're diving into the wonderful world of BDSM with Dr. Cat Meyer, a specialist on embodied sexuality. Our exploration begins with Cat's struggles with self acceptance and libido before she discovered kink in her early twenties. After briefly discussing styles of play, we jump right into why BDSM is a path not only to pleasure and surrender but to healing and growth. Cat explains how to create a safe container and the alchemizing effect of polarity in both the kink and tantra communities. We touch on Miss Jaiya's erotic blueprint before sharing a few kink archetypes. We close with consideration of kink mishaps, how to vet potential partners, and why aftercare is indispensable regardless of how you like to play. Dr. Cat Meyer, PsyD, LMFT is a licensed psychotherapist specializing in sex, trauma, and ketamine-assisted therapy (KAP), author, yoga teacher, and international speaker dedicated to evolving the relationship we have surrounding sexuality and our bodies. She is the host of podcasts Eat Play Sex and Erotically Wasted and the founder of SexLoveYoga.com, an online platform for education and programs on relationships, sexuality, and embodiment. Have you ever forgotten to breathe? It seems like a strange question, but I'm willing to bet that most, if not all, entrepreneurs have had moments where they've forgotten to breathe. Breathing is so important. Obviously, to live, you need to breathe. But breathing is important for your quality of life as well. Doing yoga, for example, teaches you to breathe consciously. This helps with keeping your stress levels down, giving you more space to make important decisions and avoid burnout. Joining me today is Annika Iliadis. She was once a pharmaceutical sales rep, but after struggling to find creativity and freedom to grow, and experiencing extreme burnout, she enrolled in a yoga teacher training program – and that was the start of her journey into complete physical and mental wellness. Today, I'm going to talk to her about the many benefits of yoga, especially for the entrepreneurs and business owners who are prone to burnout. Religious Studies professor Andrea Jain is back on the podcast -- this time to talk to Jason about her new book, "Peace Love Yoga: The Politics of Global Spiritualization." Jain's book explores the connection between global spirituality and neoliberalism. While Jain acknowledges that yoga is healthy practice, she's concerned by the ways in which modern yoga (she uses the U.S., Canada, and India as examples) has been commodified and packaged to encourage complacency (think: "good vibes only" culture) and often overshadows the action that's required to create a more equitable world. It’s an eye-opening interview hosted by Jason. This episode contains an AMAZING Story from special guest Anissa Hudak, from Manhattan, KS USA. She is a Certified Trauma Yoga Instructor & Founder of the Trauma Healing Yoga Therapy Program. She guide others in the use of effective, science based yoga therapy and other holistic techniques for the management/healing of symptoms relating to PTSD and trauma for people who want to control their PTSD - not allow it to control them. Anissa has had extensive training in PTSD Trauma-abuse including the following: 200 RYT, 500 RYT and was awarded my Certification in Yoga Therapy from the International Association of Yoga Therapy. Additionally, she has completed a 120 Hour YogaFit Warriors training and the MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) online course through the Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care, and Society at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. She is currently a student with the Phoenix Rising School of Yoga Therapy. Anissa guides, "1 in 4 women are a survivor of some type of a negative sexual experience. My mission is to educate women so they too will feel empowered to advocate for themselves. The work I do with women who have been sexually traumatized (rape, sexually assault or abuse) is the most important to me. As a 2x rape survivor, I intimately understand the needs these women face, and help them navigate their healing journeys. I'm learning another approach to utilizing yoga to help release trauma from the body. I work with people with all types of physical conditions, but I specialize in working with those suffering from PTSD, TBI's and all trauma-related issues and have been for over the past 5 years. Healing from PTSD takes more than talk therapy and meds! Since PTSD starts in the body, we must release it from the body to achieve a more complete healing - this is where the yoga therapy comes in! I'm all about education, empowerment & advocating for oneself." *********************************************************************************************************************** Please Download to hear more on this Amazing Woman's Journey to Healing herself by sharing her Healing with other Souls! Comforting the Disturbed, and Disturbing the Comfortable. Moses Love grew up following what lit him up, it led him down the rabbit hole. This week we welcome Moses from his father's lake house in Wisconsin, where he's been spending time since he was a kid. We talk about his clothing company from its beginnings to his commitment to sharing a message, from “for those who live by a code” to “missionaries of consciousness”, and the awareness of how what we wear can truly set the tone for an interaction. Moses tells us what has been experiencing during this time in his journey and awakening through presence in his own interactions and sending as much love out into the world as possible, bringing that energy into his relationships as a human, a son, and a missionary of consciousness. From our first meeting running into one another on a Memphis sidewalk in front of Delta Groove Yoga (@deltagrooveyoga), Moses and I knew we were ancient friends. Picking up where we left off, Moses' stories are always textured and deep, yet vulnerable. We also discuss shame and sexuality in our culture, and how our childhood framework may need dismantling to truly listen to what we are craving. Moses finds the sacred all around us. We hope you enjoy listening. . Hear about how Moses came to be where he is now - and how communing with the divine in nature and his own meditation practices have played their parts in his awakening to the beauty of the present moment. . For students of the stars, Moses is a Capricorn sun, Libra moon, Capricorn rising, and in Human Design System, he is a 1/3 Projector. Enjoy his sacred spiral debut! If you're feeling it, subscribe on iTunes, rate and share with kindred spirits. All comments are welcome! Feedback is friendship. We value both. “The most important time in your life is now. The most important activity in your life is exactly what you’re doing right now. The most important people in your life are the ones in front of you now.” —Deepak Chopra, pioneer of integrative medicine and New York Times best-selling author Maybe take a minute, breathe deeply, and then read that again. Why does Deepak tell us that whatever is happening now is most important? Because now, as we’ve heard for so long in so many ways—and from so many inspiring teachers—is all there is. The past exists in memory. The future exists in imagination. Now is here now. In our latest podcast, Ep. 41: The Ground of Shared Awareness with Deepak Chopra and Steve Farrell, Deepak explains exactly what the Ground of Shared Awareness is and how we can enhance our awareness and experience of it. He tells us that the Ground of Shared Awareness is the One Being, the One Existence, the One Reality “in which the whole Universe is arising and subsiding,” even though all living things experience that reality differently. Tune in to this podcast to hear more from Deepak and Steve about… Man-made conceptual boundaries The One Activity of energy/mass, time/space, body/mind The Fundamental Reality of Love Yoga practice and Shared Awareness Present Moment in business Healing your relationship with time and so much more! “Love is not an outcome,” Deepak says. “Love is the Fundamental Reality when all artificial, conceptual, man-made boundaries are taken away.” (Please note: this is a special rebroadcast and any websites, links, programs, or events mentioned may no longer be active. "Kyle Miller found yoga at 15 years old, when she casually started taking classes in Santa Monica, California—her hometown. The practice quickly became her primary outlet for stress and also a favorite workout, leading her to explore the teachings later in New York City. In 2007, Miller traveled to India to study privately with an esteemed yoga teacher and, upon returning to New York two months later, started a private teaching practice. Continuing her studies, Miller completed a Jivamukti teacher training and an 800-hour apprenticeship. She now teaches at Yoga Vida, leading their three-yearly teacher training courses and their destination retreats around the world. Her simple intention: help students feel good. Her yoga classes are uplifting, challenging, and transformative, a practical, modern interpretation of the ancient wisdom." Live the Process We love Kyle's happy-go-lucky, carefree attitude and are so excited to share her routines and good vibes!

In this episode I had the pleasure of interviewing Brent Buckelew, a local yoga teacher who teaches a restorative and all-level flow class at Love Yoga in North Albany. Brent has been practicing yoga for 5 years and moved to Oregon from Alabama in 2018. From starting a non-profit yoga studio out of his house to completing an intense yoga teacher training in Bali, he's had quite the yoga journey so far! I discovered his yoga nidra class on Superbowl Sunday of 2018, and have been sold on guided meditations ever since. He now incorporates Yoga Nidra into the second half of his restorative class. In this episode he shares his knowledge of Yoga Nidra, gets briefly into the science behind it, and explains the benefits for both children and adults, as well as how this practice is being used in the army. You can try his Yoga Nidra class before he moves in June on Sunday nights at Love Yoga from 7-8:15pm, or his all-level flow class on Monday afternoons from 4:15-5:15pm. Find out where Brent will be teaching in the future by following him on Facebook at "Brent's Yoga Page" or shoot him a email at brentbuckelew@gmail.com.

We interview Ann Mazur, founder of Runner's Love Yoga! Ann is a 200 hour ERYT with Yoga Alliance. She is also a serious runner, who specialized in the 5k/10k while running for the University of Notre Dame. Ann earned her Ph.D. in English literature from the University of Virginia in 2014. While in her graduate program, she taught more than 570 yoga classes while continuing to run and race. She believes her training and background in English literature helps her communicate more effectively as a yoga teacher. Ann is very happy to be able to pursue both a career in academia and her goal of bringing more yoga to the running community! Questions we ask Ann include: How did you get your start in running? You specialize in the 5k and 10k, but have also dabbled in some half and full marathons. Do you have a favorite distance? In your marathon training you are a fan of low mileage? What is your reasoning behind this? Going back to college (for our many listeners who are currently competing in college), what was your collegiate running experience like? Congrats on earning your PhD in English! Would you mind telling us why you decided to pursue this degree? How do you find that yoga and running are intertwined? What are your recommendations for runners who want to begin to incorporate yoga into their training? (already kind of asked this)... Favorite poses? What was your desire behind creating Runners Love Yoga? Can you further elaborate on RLY and what it is (for those who don’t know)? Where do you envision RLY heading in the future? For years, Rachel Estapa felt that, in order to get people to like her, she needed to change her body. Comments like, “you have a big belly,” or “you're not graceful” defined who she was in the world. In college, she successfully pursued a weight loss journey that she thought would open up more opportunities that were previously off limits due to her body size. When this didn't happen, Rachel felt angry and betrayed by both herself and society. In a moment of grief, Rachel cried to her husband, “there has to be more to love about me than this!” Thus was born, More to Love Yoga. As soon as Rachel embraced herself as a person, that's when the opportunities began to open up for her. Rachel's first experience with yoga was challenging as she unknowingly took a hot yoga class and wound up outside in the middle of a Boston February, grateful for the cold air. But, she kept going until she found a yoga class that, in yoga's true and authentic form, allowed her to just be. No judging, no comparing, no overthinking. After that, she chose to study at Kripalu, learning yoga skills specifically for teaching to larger bodies. Rachel currently teaches weekly yoga classes in Somerville, MA and offers an online WELL by MTL wellness program. She aims to educate and support plus size people on body acceptance and self-worth. Tune into the whole episode to learn more about Rachel journey to ditching diet culture, embracing her body and learning to live an authentic and abundant life. Today we have a special guest: Natalie Kristine Burrage - a specialist and coach in loving yourself. Bio: Love Yoga Flow Studio Owner, Yoga Teacher, and Self-proclaimed Creation Catalyst, Natalie Burrage loves to empower her clients from shifting from the trauma and drama of life into a space of purposeful and fun creation so they can create the life they've desired! Empowering her students with self-love is key as she watches them create the love, the money, the happiness, and the life they've been longing for. She often says that people hire her who are ready to get off the merry go round of self-delusion and temporary fixes and actually step into truth, empowerment, and doing whatever it takes (including fun!) to get the results they weren't previously able to create on their own.
