She Was 500 Years Off! The Hilarious Minute-to-Win-It Moment You Have to Hear How far off can one answer be and still have everyone laughing? On this entertaining episode of The JB and Sandy Show, the crew tackles the realities of getting older with a hilarious conversation about unexpected hair growth, eyebrow battles, and Tricia's ongoing “whisker war.” What starts as a relatable discussion about aging quickly turns into one of the funniest exchanges of the morning. The show also dives into the aftermath of Central Texas flooding, with updates on lake restrictions, dam operations, and the remarkable power of moving water. Sandy shares stories about people gathering to watch water rush through Mansfield Dam, while the team reflects on the lasting impact these weather events can have across the region. Plus, in Care Don't Care, the gang uncovers some of the delightfully eccentric requests reportedly associated with William Shatner. From unusual transportation preferences to dressing room demands, the conversation proves that some personalities only get more interesting with age. You'll also hear a fascinating story about Austin firefighters using real-world flood conditions to sharpen their swift-water rescue skills, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the training and dedication that keeps communities safe. And then comes the unforgettable edition of JB and Sandy's Minute to Win It. Contestant Gracie is cruising through the questions until one history question creates an instant classic radio moment. When she confidently misses the year Columbus sailed by about five centuries, the laughter that follows is pure JB and Sandy gold. Memorable Moments: “We're fighting the ear, nose, and eyebrow hair.” Tricia's declaration: “I'm winning the whisker war.” The contestant who was “about 500 years off” on a history question. A hilarious deep dive into William Shatner's larger-than-life personality. Enjoyed the show? Be sure to subscribe, leave a review, and share this episode with your friends so they can join the fun and catch every unforgettable moment from The JB and Sandy Show.

William Shatner is coming to Riot Fest in Chicago?! Does he have any special requests on his rider?
Patrick talks of Shat's rider for the show in September
It might be time to take a trip to Chicago - for Riot Fest 2026! Twenty One Pilots, Hayley Williams, and… William Shatner?? It turns out Anthony Hopkins is a secret musician as well. Humanoid robots are doing surgery. Let's eat some headlines. The Gilmore Girls house is for sale! Ariana Grande got some good PR with her Harry Potter impressions this week. Matty and Bob can't belive the lack of respect for La La Land around here.
Hour 1: It's a brand new day! Other Sarah is already off to a rough start thanks to a mascara incident. Could it be karma for stealing makeup as a teen? Spoiler Alert: Argentina pulled out the W at the last second. Grab you Purin tablets and settle in. It's time for Bob's Movie Club! Today, we're talking about Robin Williams and Nathan Lane in ‘The Birdcage.' Could this movie be made today? Maybe not, but we're happy it exists nonetheless. One of the children from Jon & Kate Plus 8 is coming back to reality TV. Is it right to put your kids on your TV show? A bunch of D list celebrities are joining Jaleel White (Urkel) for a new HGTV show. Vinnie deleted his data, per Scott Budman's recommendation. Check out privacy.ca.gov if you're interested! A follow up on the tragic boat accident in the San Francisco Bay on Tuesday. Hour 2: Trade snakes for free pizza! In Florida (of course). Speaking of terrifying wild animals, kangaroos have lots of secrets, and Bob has a hot take about sharks. Other Sarah followed her childhood dreams to Australia. The math on the World Cup halftime show is not adding up. There's always controversy in sports, but this complaint about the team doctor is a new one. What's the deal with this lettuce scandal? Taco Bell refuses to take the blame. Utah has banned multiple Stephen King books. Vinnie's telling us some of the best places to live. Hour 3: Matt Damon is proud of his FOUR daughters. Good thing they didn't know Vinnie as a teen. Check out Matty and Bob this Saturday morning for a good cause at Mirastar Federal Credit Union in San Jose. The fittest cities in the country might surprise you. A wild photo of Messi with a baby is going viral. Don't worry, it's not weird -it's destiny. Tom Cruise, Nicole Scherzinger, Jennifer Hudson are joining the World Cup Final celebration! In good news today, a dog retired from Disneyland, and a GoFundMe is helping an elderly man retire. Hour 4: It might be time to take a trip to Chicago - for Riot Fest 2026! We explore the legal aftermath of the world’s most intense "take your kid to work day" after a mother saw her neglect charges officially dismissed. It turns out that letting your little one join the family business for some high-stakes hair removal is legally considered a lapse in judgment rather than a crime. Move over lemonade stands—there's a new, far more professional hustle in town. Also on the show: Zohran Mamdani is seen watching the World Cup with Rikers island prisoners, the Blue Angels are under fire for flying too close to civilians, William Shatner has a metal record coming out, and we talk to syndicated columnist Ron Hart. Andrew Collins is a science and history writer who investigates advanced civilizations in prehistory. He is the co-discoverer of a massive cave complex beneath the Giza plateau, now known as “Collins' Cave.” The author of several books, including Origins of the Gods and Göbekli Tepe: Genesis of the Gods, he regularly appears on radio shows, podcasts, and TV series, including Ancient Aliens, The UnXplained with William Shatner, and Lost Worlds. He lives in Essex, England.Karahan Tepe is arguably the most exciting archaeological discovery of the twenty-first century. Consisting of a series of stone enclosures and rock-cut edifices carved out of a hillside in the remote Tektek Mountains of southeastern Turkey, it is changing everything we know about the emergence of civilization in the immediate aftermath of the last ice age.Chronicling his explorations of Karahan Tepe, Andrew Collins presents the first in-depth investigation of the discoveries at the site: who built it, its astronomical alignments, and its cosmological connections. He examines the intricate carvings and architectural features, including a newly discovered statue of a giant human figure. Explaining how the site functioned as a shamanic oracle center, Collins shows how its rock-cut structures were used to connect with the Milky Way's Galactic Bulge and stars of Scorpius in their role as the head and active spirit of a perceived cosmic serpent. He traces this serpent motif throughout history, identifying it with the biblical serpent of Eden, the kundalini of Vedic tradition, and the black snake of the Yezidis. He demonstrates how the belief in the existence of the Milky Way serpent among the inhabitants of Karahan Tepe went on to influence the foundation of the Gnostic Ophite mysteries suppressed by the Christian Church. He also shows how the founders of Karahan Tepe were recalled in Hebrew myth and legend as the Watchers and Nephilim and in Sumerian and Babylonian mythology as the Anunnaki. His book on Karahan Tepe is in-depth investigation of the ancient structures at Karahan Tepe, its builders, and its cosmic shamanic purpose – now both available in English and Turkish: https://www.andrewcollins.com/page/books/index.htm Follow Andrew's work:https://www.instagram.com/andrew_collins_author/ https://www.facebook.com/AndrewCollinsAuthor https://www.andrewcollins.com/ Visit Law of Positivism:https://www.instagram.com/lawofpositivism/Website: https://www.lawofpositivism.com/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/lawofpositivism/ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/lawofpositivismTikTok: www.tiktok.com/@lawofpositivism

A star studded cast, actual Satanists, and intense of focus on melting said Satanists creates what has been called "the ultimate cult movie." Not ultimate in the way that's it's good, but in the way that it's singular in its existence and how it would impact the futures of horror and its stars. Bigfoot Ben rejoins Brian and Steve to talk about another Ernest Borgnine film. This time he brings Ida Lupino, Tom Skerritt, John Travolta and William Shatner along for a romp across the American south. Pay attention to when Steve's rotten brain confidently says John Huston and meant John Ford. What a maroon. As a small child, Ike Eisenmann manifested his dream of being a Disney performer when he landed the lead in Escape To Witch Mountain and became the top child star of the ‘70s. But the joy and pride of appearing in Gunsmoke, Kung Fu, Mannix, Emergency, and Little House On The Prairie was shadowed by the abusively cruel insults hurled at him by his jealous and mentally ill actor father. Ike titled his new book after his father's mantra: “You'll Never Be A Star.”Ironically, Ike had no interest in being a star. He wanted to take part. And that he did, working with Eddie Albert, Bette Davis, George C. Scott, William Shatner, Roddy McDowall, Beau Bridges, Kim Richards and so many more gifted artists. Ike prided himself on being a one-take-wonder, often doing his own stunts, leaping through the sky, attached to wires, to snag a home run in Escape From Witch Mountain, sword fighting in The Bastard and horseback riding in Kit Carson And The Mountain Men. Ike's fantastic stories invite so many questions. Was Shatner method acting when he would strut around the set like a newly promoted Rear Admiral giving line readings to Ike? How did Ike, as a teenager, recognize the early promise of Kirstie Alley, Sam Kinison and Alfre Woodard and why was Kim Richards secretly kicking and jabbing Ike right in the middle of takes on Witch Mountain!? “This huge thing was standing in the road. It had to be at least seven or 8 feet tall, and the arms were so long they were down to its knees. You couldn't see the face because there was hair all over it. It was actually running toward our car. It was awful.” – from Terrifying Encounters by Lyle BlackburnNo one knows more about the strange creatures that lurk the backroads, swamps and forests of America than Lyle Blackburn. You probably know him from his appearances on “Astonishing Legends”, “Finding Bigfoot” and “The UnXplained with William Shatner”. Ever since seeing The Legend of Boggy Creek as a small child, Lyle has been obsessed with unknown creatures -- and he grew up to be the world's foremost expert on the Fouke Monster, the beast featured in the movie.Lyle has written numerous books about monsters in America and “Terrifying Encounters” is his latest. It's the first in a series and it features fascinating and truly terrifying first-hand accounts of encounters with creatures that shouldn't exist -- but somehow do.Our conversation covers everything from Dogmen to Goatmen, to the differences between a Devil Monkey and an Anomalous Ape, to his own terrifying encounter in the backwoods of Arkansas -- to whether Bigfoot will ever finally be captured.Notes & Links:Buy Terrifying Encounters and all of Lyle Blackburn's books here http://www.lyleblackburn.com/bio.htmSupport RHPB on Patreon here! https://patreon.com/RichardHatem?utm_medium=unknown&utm_source=join_link&utm_campaign=creatorshare_creator&utm_content=copyLinkCelebrate 2026 with 26% off all RHPB merch with offer code RHPB26! Mars is supposed to be a dead planet — a frozen wasteland of dust, craters, and ancient scars. But what if some of those scars are actually ruins? Tonight, Richard Syrett welcomes Mars researcher George J. Haas to examine astonishing geometric formations on the Red Planet that appear engineered, symmetrical, and eerily familiar. Domes, hexagons, pentagonal platforms, and temple-like structures raise a chilling possibility: Mars may once have been home to an intelligent civilization. GUEST: George J. Haas is the founder and premier investigator of The Cydonia Institute and a member of the Society for Planetary SETI Research. For more than three decades, he has studied anomalous formations on Mars and coauthored The Cydonia Codex and The Martian Codex. Haas has appeared on the History Channel's Ancient Aliens, The Proof Is Out There, and The UnXplained with William Shatner. George J.
