Frozen Tundra Frequencies - Talking Green Bay Packers 24/7/1265
Well, the Green Bay Packers sure don't look like a Super Bowl contender any more after Micah Parsons is down to one intact ACL. The Packers lost Sunday's game in Denver 34-26, but they lost so much more when Parsons went down and added his name to the list of wounded on Green Bay's roster. Between Parsons, another bizarre Christian Watson injury, Zach Tom and Evan Williams getting banged up, and more, it was a brutal day for a Packers team that actually looked pretty good in the first half against the AFC's number one team.Tex and Justis break down why it's time to remove any more emotion from this team for the rest of this season, discuss how the college coaching carousel might affect Matt LaFleur, and talk through the issues facing this team in the offseason, because it's pretty rough to spend too much time talking about the game. She encourages listeners to prioritize their mental health, find balance, and create their own version of holiday magic without social media pressures. takeaways Expectations can lead to feelings of defeat if set too high. It's important to pivot and adapt when things don't go as planned. Self-care is crucial for managing stress and expectations. Recognizing the season of life you're in helps in setting realistic goals. Saying no to commitments can be a form of self-care. Creating your own traditions can lead to more joy during the holidays. In this episode of What Went Wrong, I chatted with Tim Bronson, the Fully Booked Coach, who came armed with not one but two “what went wrong” tales. Both are a little painful, a little funny, and packed with lessons marketers can actually use. First, there was the podcast that wasn't. Back in 2008, Tim marched into a music store, dropped a grand on shiny equipment he didn't understand, then promptly lost his nerve when it didn't work. Without a clear plan or patience for the learning curve, he packed it up and walked away before ever recording a single episode. Fast-forward to 2019, and Tim's book relaunch hit another snag. Following advice to line up 50 reviews at launch, he asked 50 people for help, assumed their polite “yes” meant they'd actually deliver, and stopped there. The result? Not nearly enough momentum to push the book up the Amazon charts. Two very different mistakes, but the themes are familiar to anyone who's ever launched…well, anything. Impulse without preparation. Expectations without math. Starting strong but not following through. Key Points Success takes more than enthusiasm. Without a plan, even the best ideas fizzle. Technology and tactics get easier, but the discipline of sticking with it never changes. People will say “yes” to be nice. That's not the same as showing up. Momentum matters. Half-measures rarely hit tipping points. Actionable Takeaways Do the prep work. Before buying tools or chasing tactics, get clear on what you're building and why. Scale your numbers. If you need 50 reviews, ask 150. If you want 100 sign-ups, plan for 1,000 invites. Build in the buffer. Stick with it. The first version is always messy. Resist the urge to abandon ship before giving yourself time to learn. Don't stop too soon. Momentum compounds—keep pushing even after you think you've done “enough.” Ask for help. Whether it's a tech-savvy friend or a launch-savvy strategist, outside perspective can save you time and money. In short? Marketing isn't about never making mistakes—it's about making them, learning fast, and not letting them be the end of the story. About Tim Tim Brownson is the owner of The Fully Booked Coach and has been coaching full-time since 2005. After turning his blog A Daring Adventure into one of the web's top life-coaching destinations, he pivoted in 2012 to help fellow coaches master no-BS marketing. Most women think having high standards means expecting someone else to meet them. But the real test of your standards isn't how someone treats you —it's whether you abandon yourself to keep the connection. In Episode 10 of the Living By Your Standards series, host Chris Oh breaks down the psychology of unconscious self-abandonment, emotional safety, and what high standards actually look like in real relationships. This episode goes deeper than dating tips. You'll learn how early conditioning, nervous system responses, and invisible emotional habits shape the ways women shrink, silence themselves, or override their intuition — all while believing they're being “easy,” “understanding,” or “low-maintenance.”In this episode, you'll learn:➡️ Expectations vs. standards — why “they should…” beliefs create emotional instability and what standards look like in action.➡️ The subtle ways women self-abandon ➡️ The psychology behind self-abandonment ➡️ Why your nervous system resists self-loyalty ➡️ How to shift from self-sacrificing to self-loyal ➡️ Practical relational standards — using intuition, clarity, and values-based decisions to stay grounded in who you are.
Let us know what you enjoy about the show! What would your day feel like if the pressure to prove eased by even ten percent? In this guided meditation, we open a gentle, grounded space to notice the quiet expectations that hum beneath the surface—the subtle “I should have” and “I need to” messages that drain focus and blur what truly matters. Rather than arguing with these stories, we meet them with curiosity. We trace where they come from—family, culture, industry—and ask a simple but powerful question: Do these expectations still belong to me?Using a clear, vivid image, each expectation appears as a small card you can name and set down. Performance pressure. Perfection myths. Approval-seeking. Fear-rooted rules. You choose where they go—a bowl, a river, a fire—and with each exhale, you practice releasing the need to meet every demand. The breath becomes a tool for nervous system calm: inhaling to create space, exhaling to soften attachment. As the body unwinds, relief or uncertainty may arise—and both are welcome. This is a practice of clarity without judgment. From that new spaciousness, we listen for values that feel true right now—presence, kindness, courage, steadiness, creativity. One value may rise to the surface and settle like a compass. From there, we ask a practical, human question: How might I live from this value just a little more today? The answer can be small and still powerful—a slower morning, a kinder email, a boundary that protects your focus. This meditation is for anyone ready to release urgency, soothe the nervous system, and move from external approval toward internal alignment. Press play when you're seeking calm clarity—and notice the value you choose to lead with today. If this practice supports you, consider subscribing, leaving a brief review, or sharing it with someone who could use a gentler pace.If you are enjoying the show please subscribe, share and review! What does it take to build resilience when the world isn't built for you?In this episode of The Caring Economy, host Toby Usnik sits down with veteran journalist and NewsNation anchor Leland “Lucky” Vittert to talk about his deeply personal new memoir, Born Lucky: A Dedicated Father, A Grateful Son, and My Journey with Autism. This is not a conversation about labels or diagnoses. It's a conversation about parenting, perseverance, character, and what happens when a parent refuses to give up on a child. Lucky shares stories from his childhood growing up with autism, including bullying, isolation, and the intensive “training sessions” his father designed to help him navigate a world that wouldn't bend for him.Together, they explore what resilience really looks like, why adversity can't be edited out of life, and how discipline, love, and accountability shaped Lucky's path from a misunderstood kid to a national news anchor reporting from conflict zones around the world. At a moment when conversations about neurodiversity, mental health, parenting, and polarization are front and center, this episode offers something rare: honesty without victimhood, and hope without platitudes.

Holiday season has a way of dragging every unspoken rule you live by straight into the spotlight. In this episode, I'm calling out the Expectation Trap — the moment where your values, routines, and instincts collide with people who make choices that feel completely upside down to you. Here's the truth: you are never the baseline for anyone else's behavior. The minute you stop measuring other people's choices against your internal rulebook, everything from holiday plans to everyday interactions feels lighter and easier to lead through. In This Episode, You'll Learn:How expectations form through structure, routine, and the rules you carry in your headWhy holiday shifts land harder in autism households and spike nervous system stressThe emotional weight that settles on you when you assume others think like youHow releasing yourself as the “standard” creates breathing room in your body and your mindThis shift frees up the mental space you need to guide your home with steadier energy, clearer decisions, and far less resentment. If this work speaks to what you're living, here are a few ways to go deeper:Schedule a consultation for private coaching and get tailored support for your family: https://talkwiththeautismmomcoach.as.me
