You're a top performer at work. Your manager routinely praises you and you've been taking on more responsibilities as your team and your company grows. With all of these positive indicators, a thought has been in the back of your mind - “I deserve a raise.” Those 2 to 3% increases you've received the last couple of years aren't making a major difference to your financial situation let alone keeping up with inflation.Even with this information though, you haven't gotten the courage to talk to your manager. Maybe your company is going through a difficult period or you have a great relationship with your manager and you're afraid this conversation would add some tension or awkwardness. So what are you going to do?This episode is going to kick off with my friend Andrew Giancola breaking down some of the math behind why you can't continue to ignore this problem. I'll let him share the details but essentially, negotiating a raise every few years will make a drastic impact on your earning power. We are talking mid-6 figures or more! This can't be ignored…but it also needs to be handled professionally. Busting into your manager's office demanding a raise because you're fed up with being underpaid isn't the solution either. So once again, what are you going to do?The good news is you don't have to answer that question because Andrew will do it for you. Andrew Giancola hosts The Personal Finance Podcast, where he helps listeners discover how to easily save, invest, and grow their money to build generational wealth. One of Andrew's favorite topics to discuss is how to ask for a raise because he knows how impactful yet sensitive it can be.In this episode, we are going to walk through his step-by-step process of asking for a raise including initiating the conversation, proving your worth, making the ask, and getting a yes. I love his system because it is built around intentional communication and it is going to make it easy for someone that is nervous to approach their manager. I also think his step-by-step process won't leave you looking like someone ungrateful but instead, treated like a professional that knows their worth. If you're interested in making more money and getting on the path to early financial independence make sure to hit the follow button because we will be covering both of those topics extensively this year.Alright, I hope you enjoy my conversation with…the man who went from living paycheck to paycheck to becoming a millionaire by 32…Andrew Giancola.Key Takeaways:How a small raise compounds into a 7-figure accumulationWhen to start the conversation about a raiseScript for opening the conversation with your managerHow to demonstrate your value during the processAvoiding an awkward conversation with your managerHow to make it so easy they have to say yesCommon objections and how to handle themWhat to do if your manager or company says noHow to ask for a raise when you work from homeMentions:Asking for a Raise E-Book: https://mastermoney.co/get-that-raise-ebook/More of Andrew:Website: https://mastermoney.co/Podcast: https://mastermoney.co/podcast/More of The Struggle is Real:Find show notes and more at https://www.tsirpodcast.com/Follow us on Instagram at

After skipping out on the first season of Family Vacation, citing a desire to focus on her businesses and avoid "toxic situations," she's making a triumphant comeback. The official Jersey Shore account called her "the sweetest bch you'll ever meet," while Giancola captioned her photo with a triumphant "I'm backkk!" We don't know yet if she's back for good or just a guest appearance, but either way, it's exciting to see her reunite with her old roomies. With Paul "Pauly D" DelVecchio, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, Michael "The Situation" Sorrentino, Jenni "JWoww" Farley, Vinny Guadagnino, Angelina Pivarnick, and Deena Nicole Cortese all still in the mix, the party is still going strong. Of course, there is one notable absence this season: Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, who has decided to take a step back from the show. But with Sweetheart back in the mix, we're sure there will be plenty of drama to keep us entertained. So let's raise a glass of Ron Ron juice and welcome Sweetheart back to the Shore! The Leprechaun movies are an absolute trip, taking us from the hood to space and beyond. With Warwick Davis as the original Leprechaun, his absence from the newer films is keenly felt. In Leprechaun: Origins, the franchise attempted to take a more serious approach, but without Davis and the classic Leprechaun design, it just doesn't hit the mark. Leprechaun Returns, on the other hand, is a violent and successful reboot. However, the lack of Davis still leaves a void. The first movie in the franchise is a classic, but it's not quite as enjoyable as the later entries, which take the franchise in some truly bizarre directions. Leprechaun in the Hood is a car crash of a movie, but it's one that you can't take your eyes off of. It's a merging of Irish and Black stereotypes that's so crazy and ridiculous, it almost feels like an Airplane!-style parody. Finally, Leprechaun 4: In Space is a sight to behold for its sheer insanity. Sending the Leprechaun to space after just four movies is a bold move, but it works in its own way. The franchise's limited budget means that the sci-fi elements are somewhat lacking, but that only adds to the film's charm. --- Join our Patreon: https://patreon.com/whatarewedoing Help Us Make Money: ✅ REPURPOSE YOUR VIDEOS - Upload to 1 service & we'll handle the rest. Learn all about our trip to Naxos, Greece aboard a 110 ft. yacht which was televised this week and last on the Bravo TV show, Below Deck Mediterranean. Note: This podcast has NO financial information in it and is just about our trip! We appeared in "Episode 9: Fever pitch" on June 28th. Hear me discuss the crew, eating Ben’s cooking, wave runners, the tender to the beach, how Bobby carries us, Ben cooks s’mores. How were the s'mores with strawberry peeps? Ben couldn’t source the ingredients in Greece. We appeared on "Episode 10: Charter from heaven, charter from hell?" on July 5th. Next day breakfast, wave runners, jeweler, excursion on tender with Bryan and Tiffany, change for dinner, violinist, dinner (and unfortunate combination of motion sickness med and alcohol). Could use some love on my FB fan page (www.Facebook.com/LindaPJonesFanPage) or Instagram page, @lindapjones. Breakfast, give largest tip of the season and said good bye. Hannah says we are her favorites and she loves us! She misses us already when men acting like "frat boys" come on the yacht. More photos and stories on my blog. www.lindapjones.com/blog
