Review us love to hear your feedback and what you all want to hear about first and foremost, Pablo's want it from Cantor Fitzgerald releases.A note until res analyst day NASDAQ listed T L R Y. They, he remains neutral with a $6 15 cent 12 month price target in the media. There was provided visibility on the path to $4 billion in revenue by fiscal year 2024. Current run rate is $620 million. Organic growth by fiscal year 2024 would bring Tilray to $880 million in growth.Pablo says they will partly be dependent upon M and a, I would imagine. This would need to be more than just partly dependent to get to 4 billion with those numbers. But that being said and they will definitely be in the future. I would imagine for Tilray maybe we see them acquire Hexo or madman upon us legalization or some of the other ones that they've put money into. And the argument was made that unlike most licensed producers in Canada, Tilray. Dependent upon us legalization. So quite a day, I would say, I wouldn't say anything shocking came out of this note, but if you want to see more head over to Cantor Fitzgerald site and they perhaps have that note there, the New Hampshire state Senate says no to two house passed bills or to house pass bills that would have legalized marijuana and allowed limited home grow super unfortunate for the residents of New Hampshire.I'm curious. See you RLF on the OTC announced a successful licensing of the company's range of products, or as they described them cannabis based medicines in Malta, this will be under the name, add VIN that's ADE V E N a very biotech V asked me the manufacturing goals here will be to meet the growing demand across Europe for medical cannabis products. So obviously Malta going to be a hub. Y'all you know what that means? You have two more days to make money off of the cannabis industry this week. Just two more days. Let's make it great. Let's capitalize on it. This is Elliot lane, your host of cannabis daily here with Aaron Thomas. Thanks so much to Aaron Thomas for producing and Asli for making this happen. And Benzinga for the platform. We bring you your daily dose of cannabis news, stock insights and industry updates. If you will, in five minutes, we're gonna. For five minutes on the.today, let's see how we do, but we have not too many news items, but definitely some larger ones we need to touch on.Tilray they like to make news over there. But Tilray brands announces a proposed agreement for strategic Alliance with so cool. What does this mean for these two very large Canadian based operators? You say Hexo H E X on the NASDAQ will restructure their balance sheet, including the sale of their amended senior secured notes to Tilray brands.This. Improve hexoses flexibility and reinvigorate their path forward plan. We've been over the path forward playing on this podcast before, but just to give you a brief reminder of the path forward is basically a plan for 2022 on how they will utilize their capital structure on how they intend to divest certain non revenue driving assets among other things. What does this do for Hexo though? Most importantly, it releases the 80 million Canadian dollars in restricted cash to fund operations and strategic initiatives. Both companies will benefit. That's probably very important to this from this partnership, by as much as Canadian $50 million split equally between the two sides, K a O S capital will provide an additional Canadian $180 million.Three year equity, backstop, commitment to maintain heck sows, newfound, monetary happiness. Hexo I believe it's currently up around 5.8% until Ray is down 0.3, 4%, not everybody liked them spending the money they did, but with that being said obviously fantastic news for Hexo. If you're Hexo shareholder, you have to be breathing at least a small sigh of relief here.If you're Tilray, you're thinking this is interesting. Let's see where this goes. Does this make Hexo in M and a opportunity? I don't know. We'll see one day, but that being said for now, two major stocks joining together this morning, next step, taking it to the legislative front, a little bit of a disappointing note, but that being said.Again, not surprising. The Biden administration has expanded its employee conduct guidelines to potentially deny security clearance to individuals who have invested in companies that are involved in the marijuana business. This is according to an internal executive branch presentation shared with Politico. The direct quote is eligibility may be negatively impacted if an individual knowingly and directly invest in stocks or business ventures that specifically pertain to marijuana, growers and retailers. Decisions to willfully invest in such activity could reflect questionable judgment and I'm willingness to comply with laws, rules, and regulations. So one would hope that a more moderate and or liberal administration wouldn't say something like this, or that was the assumption when Biden was elected. That being said, Obviously Biden is playing this similarly to how the banks are, think of bank of America and and others that have reacted very negatively towards the cannabis industry.Over the last year, he's being very close to the federal guidelines for cannabis. So with that being said, Biden will be a friend of the industry when the industry Gets its first step of approval from the legislative branch, which will be SAFE deally in the next few months. We hope we'll see how that goes, but with that being said and disappointing update, but that, again, not really ultimately. All right next up on the list. We have canopy growth CGC on the NASDAQ lawsuit against GW pharma for patent infringement is tossed out by a court. This has to do with cannabis extraction techniques. Cannabis growth of course is another major Canadian and global player in the cannabis space. They also have a us footprint. They are well-known for their associations with Martha Stewart and bio steel and Patrick Holmes and several. GW pharma is the company that has the. CBD drug for epilepsy that is well-known internationally. With that being said, looks like a judge was not impressed by CGCS case.So that is now over per marijuana moment and a new poll, the majority of Wisconsin voters back marijuana legislation in the us that includes the majority of Republic. Wisconsin voters last but not least let's end with our good friends at high tide. H I T I acquiring crossroads cannabis, adding four brick and mortars in on Terrio. That brings them somewhere around 115. I believe with that being said, this is Elliot lane and cannabis daily. Thank you so much for tuning in really appreciate it. Rate and review us. Come hang out with me on Miami beach. Yeah, come on. Hope you are having a wonderful Wednesday so far. It is hump day. It's raining in Raleigh, North Carolina We're going to have a great day investing in cannabis. We're in a chat about what's going on. Definitely some companies you want to keep an eye on today, but as always, thanks to Aaron Thomas for producing this show. Thanks to Asli for getting this up on our podcast network and thanks to Benzinga for the platform. Super excited to dive in today. First and foremost, we're going to be talking about in New York and Arizona for sure. Today, New York, governor Kathy. signed a legislation yesterday. Opening. For New York hemp farmers to apply for conditional licensing to grow cannabis for the adult use market in the state. This is putting New York farmers first and also hoping to have enough product by the time the market fully launches, which I'm pretty sure is not too far away. So hopefully this isn't too little too late. However, I think goodness. For the state residents and state farmers currently next up we have Arizona. They set marijuana sales record with $1.4 billion of cannabis sold during the first year of legislation, adult use was around 650 million and medical marijuana was around 752 million in sales, December adult use sales, however did surpass medical.  Some trends yet to come in 2022 cannabis sales contributed nearly $218 million back to state funds and taxes. So obviously great news for Arizona. They're doing very well in their cannabis program. Probably one of the best to launch it thus far. As always, we can't do cannabis daily without a little drama here and there. We have a new twist from the med men and ascend wellness. Battle and call it what you want. Just a little quick recap about what's going on though. Madman, M and F on the OTC. One of the OGs and the space wanted out of a deal that they did agree to with us in wellness, a w H on the OTC their assets obviously took a turn. For the better that they had agreed to sell to ascend for money. That was probably less than what they are worth now because the New York market is going legal. So they are a sin wellness of course is filed a suit against them saying you can't back out of this. Med men filed a countersuit saying they put political pressure on governor. Administration now lawyers from a wellness are saying madman has indicated it will withdraw its allegations that ascend executives put political pressure on governor hotel's administration to approve a medical marijuana law license transfer between the two companies. So I guess it's all going away. I don't know. I doubt this is the end of it, but for the moment I looked like they were putting a pause button on. Hemp incorporated OTC listed H E M P fantastic ticker for the company. You got to admit reports that hemp Crete was submitted as an appendix in the international residential codes.Last month by the U S hemp building foundation. This will take through at least September to see results, but if approved hempcrete will be a natural building material in the U S and hemp incorporates. We'll probably be a much more valuable company. So keep an eye on them. However not for awhile, really high tide hit on the NASDAQ celebrates 420,000 Kana cabana loyalty members. They will officially celebrate this with an exclusive prize giveaway on four 20. They are the largest. Retail footprint in Canada with, I believe now 111 brick and mortars, a huge loyalty program. They are doing things right. They haven't ciliary sales here in the U S with bonds, with and ciliary products for cannabis. Just a massive company that I think will end up being a global player study by persistence market research announces that the global medical marijuana network will reach a valuation of 76 and a half. Billion dollars by 2031. That was a massive number last but not least markets did not react kindly to the Hexo news yesterday with her placing their board of directors completely today, eh, not much news on the stock, but we'll keep an eye on this with that.Have a wonderful day of investing. If I'm looking at winners for the day, you got to think of high tide, EITI wins again. You've got to think of Arizona stocks, such as TC in NF that are winning from their massive amount of sales in the states. Would that being said, have a wonderful day, have a wonderful rest. Your hump day and we'll see you again tomorrow. Hey investors, thanks so much for tuning in to Benzing. This is your host Elliot lane. As always. We got our producer, Aaron Thomas powering this thing to success and Benzinga thank you for the platform. Welcome to product launch Thursday. I think every company in the industry launched a product this morning. We'll cover some of those, but we do have some big news to dive into first.Mississippi is on the board you off. I had an air horn. I blow it. If I had a drum roll, I would've played it before. But Mississippi governor has signed in to law, the medical cannabis bill for certain medical conditions Al it's. If I'm looking as an investor at this market, I get excited about companies that have dominated in other medical states, such as for.Hint, hint, maybe some truly TC in NF dives into this market. Maybe perhaps one of the smaller competitors like C N T M F both on the OTC, jumping into this market. There's several that you can look at. I would be surprised if a big MSO, like truly. Or cure leaf. Wasn't one of the first to jump in though. So congrats to Mississippi. Welcome to the party. Y'all I'm super glad to have ya. But yeah, it's good news. It's great news for the industry, especially when a Southern state like Mississippi, whom I would think would be one of the first to say that. Says, yes. All right, job. Moving on next leaf solutions.Let's give a round of applause to Paul Peterson and team over there. Oil F or O I L F on the OTC enters Ontario. They have made massive waves with their brand glacial gold. This has been hugely successful for them and they are pushing it to the Bram here. They are very Gung-ho and heads down on intellectual property. They have tons of patents internationally, I think 90 plus if I'm not mistaken. So obviously this is a company that's planning for the longterm. So keep an eye on O I L F I it's always been a watchlist. I think they are an up and comer and end of last year, they were one of the more successful licensed producers in Canada in terms of growth to their stock price. So do keep an eye on them. ACB Aurora cannabis obviously one of the most well-known names in the cannabis space launches a new CBD product. Here we are. We're into the product launches. Y'all this is through their subsidiary release. Or Arielle IVA kg seven hemp-based products. It looks like they have a CBD speed stick plus other things. So ACB continued to expand their product line as always another dominant player in the medical market, but not one that will inter Mississippi, anytime soon, obviously acreage holdings, AC R H F launches, a craft brand Superfly. Successfully in Illinois, Ohio and Massachusetts per their press release this morning. And the first three months of the brand launch, they reached circa 100 retailers. They also expanded their vape products and introduced a new solventless gummy in key markets as well. High tide, taking a break from the product launches just for a second. Don't worry hit on the NASDAQ. Was delayed in filing audited, annual financial statements, analysis, management, discussing discussion et cetera. That was announced a few days ago. Raj, their CEO came out on Twitter to say that this was due to personnel issues and unexpected personnel issues. He did say Nokia. This will not happen in the future, they will be better prepared for anything of the sort. I think high tide is a wonderful company. This doesn't really slow my bullishness down for them CGC or canopy growth and other big name, especially in the Canadian market and internationally they're subsidiary ACE valley launches, new cannabis beverage products and CBD hard candy products. Exciting everybody over 70 CBD MD or why CBD on the NASDAQ launches a new functional gummy line and harvest health. The truth. Subsidiary RVO F has harvest TC internet of course is truly launched this new transdermal CBD cream last but not least. We're going to finish with some non product based news for all of our sakes. Raymond James analyst, Joseph out to Belo maintains a strong buy on Scotts Miracle-Gro S M G.However, he does lower the price target from 1 95 to 180 5. At the time of the recording of this podcast, they were around $141. If I'm looking at movers IPR has had a pretty interesting past day and a half. Hexo is on my watch list right now. Urban growth. This is Elliot lane, happy Monday, host of cannabis daily from Benzinga. I hope your Monday was filled with relaxation with parties, clubbing, reading, a book, whatever you want to do. I hope you are prepared to make a ton of money in the cannabis space this week and moving forward.Ideally, ideally y'all but regardless, we're here to bring you cannabis insights in news every day for the cannabis space starting us off, we have the one and only representative ed Perlmutter, Democrat from Colorado has vowed to pass marijuana legislation before his time in office is up. He will not be running again. So he has limited time. He did file the text of his safe banking act as an amendment to broader legislation going before the house rules. On Tuesday. So thank you to representative Perlmutter for fighting for this industry. And then we all hope he has success, especially with safe as that as an important bill for the industry, Ohio cannabis activists gather enough signatures to force their lawmakers into the discussion. The lawmakers have four months to act. Otherwise the campaign activists can gather more petitions to put the issue on the November ballot for voters. So either. Ideally this time or not this time, ideally later this year, we will have some progress in the Ohio cannabis market grow generation or G RWG on the NASDAQ exchange, acquires horticulture. This acquisition will strengthen grow generation supply chain globally, as well as add distribution for private label products under their umbrella grow generation was a darling stock in the industry. Really for the first half of 2021 and probably for the end of 2020 they followed the. At large and had a ref 20, 21 as most cannabis stocks did, but there are still a very strong company fundamentally, and I definitely recommend keeping them on your watch list.On the other side of the cannabis market coin, we have Hexo which received notification from NASDAQ. It is not in compliance with the minimum bid price requirements. A stock should not be below one us dollar for 30 consecutive trading days. There will be no immediate effect on the stock, but the company has 180 calendar days. From the date of notification to regain compliance. I believe the date will be set in late July if I'm not mistaken, but they may have another 180 days after that. Or they may be delisted just don't know at the moment, but not great news for Hexo, but at the same time they have been affected by what has been a pretty difficult time to invest in the cannabis industry and for cannabis stocks. So while I don't think it's a hundred percent there yet. It is still somewhat concerning for Hexo investors and shareholders. Sproutling Sr UTF on the OTC announced Q3 2022 earnings. They did settle outstanding debt of over 145,000 Canadian dollars to do the company issued 2,908,968 common shares at a price of 5 cents per share. The PR did not include any information about adjusted. Or revenue using cannabis during pregnancy doubles, the risk of having an underweight baby. This is re as reported in the independent and syndicated to Yahoo finance. 60,000 mothers were part of the study, which found that cannabis users were prone to give birth to smaller and underweight babies by their measurements. This is under five pounds. Eight ounces. It was also linked to premature birth as well, which was up 28% in the study. This is very concerning. I think that being said, please go read the whole study. There is quite a bit in. In terms of who is more prone to use cannabis during pregnancy. So there's a lot of information in the study but overall it is not looking like it would be recommended to use cannabis while you are pregnant. So please do your research be educated about it. And if you are pregnant, I recommend taking a look at this study or know somebody who is pregnant, of course, the New York post, or as originally published by Fox news. Say cannabis may impair driving ability for up to four hours. This is per a study published in J a M a psychiatry from the center for medical cannabis research at the university of California, San Diego. The study was 191 cannabis users wide. It's not a huge. That being said, I'm pretty sure most cannabis users would say duh to this. But that being said, I think there's a lot of gray area with cannabis use. I don't think you are restricted from using cannabis if  it helps us a performance enhancer or helps us as a focus nutrient or whatever you may use it for. But I would say cannabis. Makes you high in any way, shape or form is probably what they're referring to. But I would be surprised if the New York post or Fox news included that in their publication or any publication for that matter. I'm not going after those in particular, but I think there's a lot of gray area in that reported in these recent studies, forefronts FFN T F on the OTC closes an acquisition of new England cannabis corporation and really strengthens their Massachusetts footprint. Probably one of my winners of the. Followed by another winner for me, Kyron life sciences, K H R in F on the OTC opens a new medical cannabis clinic in Columbia. They are a fast mover in the Latin-American market. And I think as Mexico opens, they will be a winner. So if you're talking to me about what I'm watching today, I'm watching forefront.I'm watching Kyron life sciences. I'm watching grow generation.  I'm, if I'm a shareholder. I would be concerned about Hexo maybe keeping my eye on what Spratley management is up to, but overall, I hope this helps. I hope to start your week off right in the cannabis space. We'll do this four more times.Aaron Thomas will be with us at the end of the week. This is Elliot lane, host of cannabis daily. Thanks as always to our producer, Aaron Thomas, who makes everything happen as well as Benzinger for the platform. The show brings you a quick five to six minutes of cannabis investing news and or industry centric news, every single weekday. So let's dive right in, starting off. We have high tide, H I T I on the NASDAQ exchange. They opened two new can of cabana locations in Regina to begin selling adult use cannabis on January 27th. This brings their total brick and mortars to 109. So high tide continuing their aggressive expansion AgriFood.HGF why on the NASDAQ announces a $27.3 million. Private placement AgriFood will issue roundabouts 4 million, 20,994 shares of common stock at a combined purchase price of $6 and 80 cents per share. What's interesting to me about this is CEO along with other members of management and the board participated in the. However they did. So at $6 and 90 cents. So 10 cents more, I think this is a huge shot of confidence in from internally from Agra. I think it's aggressive. I think it's strong. I love this. So props to  on this release next up, after having announced it would stop testing most employees for cannabis and backing a democratic led bill to legalize cannabis.Amazon is now backing Nancy mace, the freshmen Republican Congresswoman from South Carolina and her bill, the state's reform act. So I think this continues to be a boon for cannabis to have large tech and e-commerce plays. Join the fold, Mississippi lawmakers in the state, Senate and state house. Come to an agreed. And send their newly revised medical cannabis bill to governor Tate Reeves desk. The final passage of which is expected to today. I love this. I think it's fantastic to see more Southern states joined the fold. Mississippi would not have been my guest to be the first one of many. But th this is a boon, in my opinion, for sure that the amendment, I believe coverage, zoning restrict. For licensees planet 13, probably the most fun news of the day. That's PLN, H F on the OTC. Now allowing couples to say I do in their Las Vegas Superstore, also known as the world's largest dispensary. You can also. I exchanged vows at their cultivation facility, which is not super far from the Las Vegas strip. They are tiered packages, everybody. So if you're planning on doing this wedding, start at $400 for a quickie, you can also go at $600 and $800 and so on and so forth for further packages. So planet 13, continuing to innovate, continuing to look beyond the norms of the cannabis. And be a leader at drawing in tourism to their to their dispensary, to their brand.Truly TC in NF is rebranding all their Pennsylvania retail locations. This is somewhat to me, similar to what Columbia care did with their Florida dispensaries to camp. But they want to unite true leavers everywhere. And they're starting here with Pennsylvania or continuing here with Pennsylvania schwas or S H w Z on the OTC closes their acquisition of drift cannabis, which consists of two dispensary's and Boulder, Colorado. This brings their total number of stores in the states two 20. The cost of the acquisition was around three and a half million. Pretty evenly split between cash and common stock. This seems like a solid acquisition to me, perhaps, to Schwab as their next step. A decently interesting company that we don't talk about a whole lot. They really only put out news when they have news, which is a nice change of pace. But zone properties or Z D P Y on the OTC. And announced as their final completion of expansion at the Chino valley cultivation facility, this zone properties first and foremost is a leading real estate development firm in this space. And this will significantly increase the rental revenue with further opportunities to increase revenue down the line from this specific facility. So great news for zone properties, a great news for the future for CDP. Private multi-state operator elevate holistics over the course of 2021 donated $70,000 to treat veterans and Medicare members. So I love talking about stories like this. I love talking about giving back to the community and giving back to the medical cannabis community specifically that has fought so hard for cannabis legalization last but not least South Dakota law. Are looking to repeal part of their citizen backed bill for the specifically the home cultivation rights can imagine this is going to go over well. Home cultivation rights are a huge battleground in this industry. Anybody who is for cannabis, legalization, and wants to have some sort of support from the OJI community needs to be behind cultivation rights for individuals and home cultivation rights. This is not going to be popular. And those companies that are behind a bill such as this will not be popular. So just keep an eye on this. We'll see where this goes. And what's  what comes of this for that community? Actually, I didn't lie. Hexo did provide an update that for their path forward plan saying they're ready, can products will increase in markets and expansion there. So Hexo NASDAQ listed. This is Elliot. What is cracking? This is Elliot Lane host of cannabis daily, as always thanks to my producer, Aaron Thomas, who will be joining us in five-ish minutes to chat through some news as he does every Friday. Thanks Benzinga for giving us the platform to do this. We bring you news and insights every day. A lot of stuff happening, man, on Aaron. I don't know why they don't spread some of this news out away from earnings a little bit, but maybe it's to cover up some of the earnings who knows, but tons of stuff to talk about today.Obviously we got lots of opinions and hope this gives you a direction to look at for your day. So let's get. Tilt holdings having those a week. Y'all T L L T F or suitable for adult use at another Massachusetts dispensary, the second one in a week in that state pending final inspection. So I think final maybe Is is coming, but pretty much, they're still props to Gary.Mann's leaving that company as good as he else in this, in this industry, flora grow their side of life. FLDC announced pricing of unblock offering of 10 million units at three bucks per current. Well, when I looked earlier was around 360 9 three 69 cents. Of course. I believe that is down 30% since they announced that news.I still a fan of flora growth. I think they have one of the more. Product lines and footprints in the base, obviously Latin American base. So you have to believe in that part of the world's cannabis operations, but I think for growth is a strong company, but the market, not a fan of this news. So they will continue to be listed through this. And we'll see how this turns out. Company village farms would BFF cannabis and produce operations, not affected severe weather. Just in case you are wondering, I personally was not aware of whether in British Columbia, but it's good to hear that are continuing on as normal unity road item labs of basically they're their franchise.Well, the dispensary model is unity road joins the international franchise association item nine labs listed on the OTC for I and L B first cannabis dispensary franchise to become members. Cool update. I think, you know, moving. Forward into this skin being the leading franchisor in cannabis. And this remains the fact, you know, once of course everything's federally or somebody else jumps into the franchise model, who knows in the feud and nine labs is working really hard to lead this part of the sector.Great. It's a California based company, their OTC GPF T has to release a Presley's defy their sale of stock by executives execs, take salary and do favor equity compensation. Their sales of their stocks are all executed by perforators told to minimize the price volatility, not sure successful those traders were considering they had to release a PR clarify. But I like the. Form of compensation for the executives, but obviously they paste this out a little differently in the future admin, M M in FF trial, coming to a congestion, former CFO Parker resigned, but felt full claims. He is owed just under 25. Millions has higher and so will go to jurors as early as next.MI w you know, obviously I, I'm not familiar with this case, med men, of course, several lawsuits in the, this seems to lean toward med men, everything that I've read this morning. Scott Cooper, as it, and CEO of Hexo has also been appointed to their bub directors props to him. He has experienced with trusts horrors, and obviously texts. For Sebastian St. Claire after harsher last but not least. Nope. Nope. Two more news. I hide your face. I'm sorry. A Conda court testing the waters of in the U S this is pretty big, in my opinion, a national company to listen to the U S probably since. Which isn't that long ago, but you know, nobody really S in my opinion to them and, and for growth, but this is an international medical cannabis company with assets, such as a cultivation and processing campus in South Africa as tan Mart in the UK.So in my opinion is going to be. Super interesting to watch. I think we'll probably be along the same lines as insecure that not necessarily to till raise level at yet, you know, probably not to the excitement of flora growth court, but you know, I, this is Intercare could be a good comparison for how a conduct could be would once it lists in the U S.Last, but not least give a shout out to my main man, Michael Mills body in my other stellar news release for their rec year end financial results. Year over year revenue increased 332% from the end of 20 at the end of 2021 Q4 revenue. 40% sequentially profitable Q4. They are going to have a call at 11:00 AM Eastern. We'd like to tune in today. But I'm very excited for them has worked incredibly hard. He's taken all of his debt off of his sheep. He is of course always open to adding more debt than anybody else in the space. And also, you know, shout out to cannabis. I'm pretty major debt financer in the space cannabis hour, chatting about what debt has done for cannabis. So please tune into us know any thoughts you have there, but I, in my opinion, I'm super body and mind that's B M M J on the OTC. I think Mike Mills, Gary Santo, two of the most underestimated executives in this industry. I think they're both incredible. So big fans of tilt, big fans of body of mind. And make them on your watch list at the very least, if you can invest in us plant touching companies. So with that being said, Elliot's ramble for the day is done. And Aaron Thomas has Ram day begins. What's up big 80. What's up big Elliot. How's it going? I'm actually kind of a big dude. So watch your face.Oh, I'm good, man. Happy Friday. Good things. This is a podcast. I know what I'm trying, man. I'm trying to lose that way. What are you going to hear drinking? Half a cup of creamer in my coffee, but we're still in zinger nation. Don't worry. Elliot is a great looking dude. So my man trying to woo me over. Once you got for us today, let's get right into it. So you touched on it yesterday, but let's start it off with this New York subways ban ads for cannabis or mushrooms. So ads about psychedelics is cannabis and other things that promote unsafe behavior are now banned by new York's MTA. So since you brought it up, Aaron, you know, I did mention this yesterday. You've been on the subways in New York recently, recently. It's, this is hysterical to me. Like, I mean, it's the same thing with Gavin Newsom in California, banning the billboard, same thing, I think in like South Dakota and some of these in Michigan and some of the states where they have like advertising bans on case, which is actually not too far away from other sins, like alcohol and tobacco. But what's funny to me is the ads for like OkCupid and some of these other types of companies are so sexual. Yeah. And the subways, and they're worried about like, And I'm just like, have you guys seen the orgy ads you've put in the subways recently? I'm not sure if you have or not, but it sounds like, yeah, I actually saw that when I was there.I thought it was hilarious. And then on another note, so even if you're downtown in New York and you just walk around and you're just going to get the message of marital. Everywhere you go, every corner you turn, someone has marijuana, there are stores where you can buy marijuana and smoke it right outside the store in New York city. So, I mean, we'll see how this goes. And this is just so silly, but I mean, I get why it's on the same level as the others, these other SIM products, but something definitely not equal this picture. Anyways. What's next brother. All right. So we touched on New York where you live, let's touch on Michigan, where I live.So Michigan works to limit the amount of cannabis that caregivers can grow. This is not a positive move forward that I think at least Michigan wants to limit caregivers, grow amounts of move that is always contentious in the medical cannabis community. So let's see. So here's, I I'm torn if I'm going to be honest.Y I, what do you, I mean, if you have the exact limits, let us know, but you know, you can't run a medical cannabis business out of your basement, right? So like, you know, if it's limiting to like maybe six plants or something like that, I don't know. I don't know what a medical cannabis patient needs, because I am not one. But you know, I, I would hope that research has been included in this decision, but I will admit, like you have to allow people to grow their own cancer. It has to be seen that, like, I can make my own beer whenever. You know, so that doesn't take that. Doesn't stop me from going to the store and buying white claws or craft beer whenever I want to. But you know, in terms of cannabis, like you can't just have a whole damn field in your basement. Excuse my language. Yes. So. The upshot of all the bills is that they would significantly limit the amount of marijuana. The caregiver can grow, reducing the number of cannabis plants from 72 to 24. So definitely a 66% cut there. And then, so two thirds of the market right now of cannabis in Michigan is unregulated. And so what that means is the majority of that product can be untested as quoted by. A local television station. What TV? So cancer for patients. Those with immunocompromised situations, getting access to safe product is really important. Some of this untested product has been found to contain mold, pesticides, Cola, salmonella. So if this is what the studies are showing and you know, obviously this is for the medical market Definitely you want a better product there so that, you know, the end user and customers have a better experience, aren't getting a bad product that in turn hurts their health and not helping their health.Yeah. Yeah. So I think, I mean, honestly, like I'm, I'm not overly bothered by it, but again, like I also don't claim to know what a medical cannabis patient needs. And so I hope that research has been taken into account. Good stuff, man. Aye, what else? You got some more, right? Yep. I got two more things. We're going all over the place today. So let's move on to some more federalisation news. So Schumer, Chuck Schumer wants to keep the big boys out of marrow out of the marijuana industry and says legalization. Bill is past. So Senate majority leader, Chuck Schumer wants to keep the big boys out of the marijuana industry in favor of creating opportunities for smaller operators. When canvas is federally legalized and he says his upcoming bill would accomplish just that. To me, I have, in my opinion, like it really is just a cop out. And, you know, the, the investment opportunity in this space drives a lot of these types of opinions. And I get that and it, it does obviously make a part of my opinion, but at the end of the day, it, it it's, in my opinion, it's, it's his job and the job of Republicans and Democrats to figure out how to create social equity opportunities, opportunities for small businesses, while also allowing companies that are in the space and have worked hard to be in this space right now. You know, so I think just limiting and saying you're, you're here to, to stop this from becoming too corporate. The only people in this industry that, that excites are the small businesses in California that haven't been able to compete. And I, I mean, to me, that's not good enough, but at the end of the day, I mean, I'm not a politician.I don't claim to have all the ins and sources there, but I don't know, man, I. I feel like you should not limit an industry that could be so beneficial to so many states. Absolutely. And I agree with you there, but I think if this bill does pass in the right way, definitely could be more inclusive or it makes the industry more inclusive.Right? So we have these smaller, smaller operators who are being noticed who are getting their fair share and. As well as these big operators who are coming into the space and now that it's federally illegal taking it advantage of all their initiatives and all of their you know, big, big practices that they've put into place over the years and finally grabbed the fruits of that.Yeah. Yeah. I mean, honestly, like I think you have, you have to do this for small businesses too, and I'm not saying due to. Not work for them. Obviously. I think you have to create a path for people to start their own businesses and you can't just let Ms. Sows be the only cannabis businesses out there that is not a sustainable industry, but you know, you can't limit the MSOC either. So, I mean, I think ultimately like it's, it's an extreme statement. But ideally there's more behind the bill, you know, like you're saying you know, and we'll all see how it comes out in the wash. And if Nancy Mesa get through gets there, even if Mitch McConnell lets Nancy Macy's get through. But we'll see, you will see.I I'm hoping for the best. I think we all know. Yeah, hope. Hope is the key word here. No legislation this year. All right. Let's end it on a nice light notes. W we're going to take it overseas to end, ended up or ended off, I know what you're going to say. Yes. Germany set to legalize marijuana nationwide. After major parties, reach agreement, party leaders in Germany. Germany's incoming government coalition have reached an agreement to legalize marijuana nationwide. The legalization legislation is expected to be introduced. Introduced during the upcoming legislative session, it will also provide broader drug harm reduction services and restrict advertising of tobacco and alcohol.Along with cannabis, as it stands, personal, personal possession of marijuana is decriminalized in Germany and there's a medical cannabis program in place, but this forthcoming proposal would seek to establish a regulated market for adult use. Nice. So far today Tilray up almost 3% to 2.7, 5%. And if this news doesn't spark some move until red be shocked surprised that this move didn't spark, or if this news didn't spark a lot of other moves, you know?Yeah. For me, the two big ones that I would look at are artillery. And cure leaf. So those two specifically public stock wise are I think the ones, it looks like what's like clearly is up this morning a little bit. So. Yeah, I mean, honestly, like those are the two stocks they're both up. Not as much as I would have assumed on this news, but I mean, I don't think anybody is directly in, but you can also look at other companies like flower Corp like perhaps heck so has some international, I think village farms is expanding into Northern Europe. So I mean, there's a lot of companies that are investible that can take part of the. No worries, Aaron. That was fun, bro. That's some good, you know, I hope we didn't get too political on you all today. Obviously we want the best for the industry and we want it to keep growing so we can all make that money on it.Y'all Yes. This is Elliot lane bringing in New York cannabis news and insights on the market. Uh, every week, day around 10:00 AM, you know, maybe 10 0 5, maybe 9 55. We haven't gotten into an exact science yet, but we are there for you every day. Uh, today's Friday. We're going to get Aaron Thomas on a little bit later, chat through some fun little items, but my gosh, the amount of news I have for you today, earnings is in full swing. Um, some funny things happening, some awesome things happening, and some companies that'll have some things to prove next quarter. So let's do that.Right in inner care, I NCR, uh, known as can dock around Israel. Um, really great, uh, management team behind them, great investors behind them. They moved on the announcement that they were having earnings. I just found this hilarious, uh, Inc. Uh, I think there are a lot of firm believers in this company, including myself.I think insecure is going to be a powerhouse internationally. Uh, but I, I don't see why they made the jump to be quite honest. So, um, keep an eye on them and I look forward to their earnings, maybe something coming out. Yeah. I had a couple articles that came out recently. I want to, I want to bring attention to investor place, publishes articles saying sundial that's S and D L could be a goodbye for reversal. We'll touch more on them later. Obviously mainly citing the years happenings plus the market opportunities. So nothing really. Super insightful in the article in terms of specifics or details that most cannabis enthusiasts don't already know. Um, but overall, I, I share a similar sentiment. Stock place says drops on dial and by village farms, uh, Corona, organic gram, and Greenlane while I agree with half of that sentiment.Um, I think diversification is great. I think sundial has its own benefits. Again, we'll touch on them. Shortly village farms is an incredible company. A Corona is one of the leading software compliance providers in the industry. If not the leading one organic gram for me is interesting because of the tobacco entrance there, uh, in Greenland, obviously being one of the major anciliary companies and, um, and accessory brands, uh, out there.Hexo, this is a little bit of old news, but I did want to touch on it. That's hex. So on the NASDAQ closes three recently acquired facilities laying off 155 workers, and they claim this as a part of an integration plan. You know, it may be, and I think remains to be seen, but I, I, I want to be fully behind tech.So. Um, and it's just not positive news coming out of there right now. And I hope they can continue to release some positive reasons that sustainability, uh, was great about little less than a month ago or about a month ago. Um, but I like to see more news like that coming out. H C Wainwright cuts price target for current that's NASDAQ listed K E R N from $7 to $5.Um, I do not read into this very heavily. I think a Corona is one of those. Leading service providers in this industry. They're obviously not thriving. Uh, like the, I would say the hydroponics companies are right now. And I think for obvious reasons there, I don't think their services are quite as expensive.Um, but at the same time, I think a current grows as this industry grows because there is no major competition to them as. Current moment, in my opinion, terrorists and TRS SF shareholders overwhelmingly approved gauge acquisition and the amendment. Uh, so that should continue to move forward relatively rapidly.Uh, after this. Now we dive into the first bit of sundial news, that's S and D L and the NASDAQ again, announces share repurchase program of up to a hundred million Canadian. So that is huge. Um, a lot of discussion and it really the biggest negative about them this year was the stock dilution. Um, I think this is the step to counter that counter.Um, the claims that their shares are not worth as much as they should be. I think this is a step toward rectifying that for them, or at least to make it appear. So, uh, all right. Y'all earnings, earnings, earnings, earnings. We are keeping rolling on that train. Plenty more to get to today. Hydro farm is where we're starting.H Y F M revenue declined 7% year over year to $128 million. Um, I believe that is still the leading. Um, public, at least the leading public company in terms of revenue, quarterly revenue for a hydroponics company that I can think of that being said, you know, you obviously want to see positive trends if you're invested in them.Um, but to call out both sides, hydro farm, obviously doing well, but not trending in the right direction as is . Urban grow, but similar to grow generation. So an interesting correlation there, Columbia care, CCH WF record, quarterly revenue of 132.3 million up 144% year over year and 22% quarter over quarter, California is still being the company's, uh, highest revenue by state with Colorado.Uh, they've really focused on expanding there over the last few quarters, uh, and they've done a great job at really controlling that market, in my opinion. Jumping to glass house group. That's G L a S F on the OTC net revenue up 29% year over year to 17.2 million. But unfortunately down 8% quarter over quarter, they are still the number one brain ranked brand in sales in California. So that is something I have a lot of faith in glass house. I think Kyle and Graham are doing great things over there. No, I, I think, um, there's a lot to prove still, you know, I think there's a lot of companies that could still enter California and just take over that market. Um, and I think as corporate and culture mix, I think glass house is really well positioned to tackle both sides.I love their sustainability, uh, activations. I love a lot about. Um, but you know, we obviously want to see that sequential revenue, uh, increase right now and not decrease as the market emerges maps. That is Weedmaps or WM holdings on the NASDAQ, M a P S revenue of 50.9 million us revenue up 46% year over year and overall revenue up 9% year over year, Q4 revenue supposed to be between 50 and 52 million. So not anticipating the large growth, uh, by the end of the fiscal. Uh, CIN wellness holdings, that's AWL H revenue up 13.2% quarter over quarter to 94.4 million. Interesting factoid nine months 2021 revenue is up a hundred million over the same nine months in 2020. So, you know, as sin, wellness is one that has just blasted in the tier one territory. In my opinion, I love, uh, what Abner and team is doing over there. They're backed by Poseidon and the, and Emily. Emily Paxio, uh, and several others. And I just, I love ascend wellness, uh, pretty much all the way around. Uh, we will dive into the REIT section really quick, new lake capital partners. That's in LCP revenue up 22% quarter over quarter and up 135% year over year to 8.1 million.Of course, they closed their IPO with proceeds of 102 million in August. I think new lake is poised to be one of them. Three to four leaders in the real estate investment trust landscape in cannabis, and a lot of faith in them. And if you're looking for an interesting ciliary play, uh, I, I, I would definitely keep an LCP on your watch list. All right, I'll wrapping it up with sundial on my end, S N D L income of 11.3 million Canadian, as opposed to last year at the same time was a loss of 71.4 million, a massive turnaround for the. They are still, um, working off the success of their meme, stock status and the Reddit user craze, a S and D L I believe is still the number one cannabis stock, of course, on the Reddit boards.Um, and S and D L is, um, they're working hard to make it worthwhile. They obviously, they diluted a lot. They, they raised a lot off that, uh, that volume that. Um, they, they created a massive investment vehicle with sun, sun stream bank Corp, and they invested in Endiva. They, they purchased a leading retail brand in, in Canada. They've um, they they've invested in acquired multiple companies, uh, across the, the last few quarters. And I just have massive respect for what Zach has done this year and, and turned that company around. Um, so that is the reason S and D L right now is up some 25, 30%. Uh, in the pre-market session. Uh, so if you are invested in SMD L you should be having a great.Uh, again, cannabis stocks are volatile. Uh, just look at MSO S uh, they are overall having a good last seven day swing. Um, but their volume of course, massively decreased from that huge spike we saw on Friday from the Republican bill. That being said, y'all, I'm going to call it quits for my thing. My Lord Elliot stop being so long winded and get to Aaron.Thomas. What? Everybody's here for? Aaron? Are you there? My friend, I am here. What's going on? Elliot. How are you? I'm good, man. I need some water after that earnings get me. Yeah. I mean, it's a longer earning seasons. There's a lot to talk about. So it's completely understandable. Yeah. You know, Erin, do you have any, like, you've listened to me give like earnings reports, big earnings reports, the last three days straight, anything pop out to you?Um,you know, for me, it's, it's got to be the tier ones continue to just. Move forward and leave everybody else in the dust. Uh, and I think it's, it was less, less of that earlier this year. Um, you know, I would say, and this is in the operator space. I think the opposite is happening in the ancillary space. Um, but you know, that's kind of where I'm at so far.I don't think we've had a lot of the tier two Domestos, uh, report yet, and I'll be interested to see that and maybe they will, uh, change the narrative of this season a little bit, but to me, tier one and tier three, there's more separation now than there was a week and a half. Hmm. That's interesting. Why do you think that is?Um, I think that is because market share is going to dear ones. I think tier ones have more resources. They they're, um, massive inorganic expansion, uh, opportunities right now for them. Um, you know, and I think some tier former tier ones, like a goodness growth. You know, I, I think their earnings next quarter are that much more important because of this quarter, a little bit gray area, uh, in, in their reportings, but companies like curely and green thumb industries, it was like, here's my earnings. We're frigging great. Like they, they there's just no hesitancy. I think glass house group has the, the ability to become a major player in this. Um, you know, obviously you want to see that sequential increase, but I think they're poised for success. Um, but because their sequential decrease this quarter, it makes Q4 that much more important for them.Interesting. We'll have to keep our eyes peeled and our, you know, keep up on benzinga.com/cannabis for all the news. And, uh, up to date. If I had a soundboard, I would've done the air horn right there. Anyways, do Eric give us some news, man, what's going on? Let's get into it. Let's get into this Friday fund.Uh, let's start it off with some light fun news. A study, 60% of cannabis consumers would get high with their grandparents. A recent survey found that 60% of consumers said they would consume cannabis with their grandparent. That recent survey conducted by cannabis edibles brand a Zucca 60% of respondents.Uh, The same thing. So I said they would consume cannabis with a grandparent, according to the company, press release. If you don't know, Zucca not to interrupt you and keep your thought, but as Zucca is really cool, like science-based animals brand, I would imagine, um, you know, I think it's Kim over there who leads that, and I really like their brand. And I imagine they're probably poised for an exit at some point after they grow a little bit. Um, but I really think. Uh, if anybody was going to put that who's not wanna, or in diva or bang, uh, Zucca is a pretty cool operator to put that on. And what an interesting question. I wonder if it's because they all smoke with their grandparents over there, they get that wisdom from them, you know?My grandparents would look at me with a not so pleased. Look out. No, my grandparents would not be pleased as well, so we'll keep it. We'll keep it moving. The Americans and cannabis consumption survey was conducted online and it had 1,089 participants. The results were weighted. Reflect gender and age distribution across the 18 to 16 year old demographic, over half of the respondents were cannabis, cannabis, consumers.Um, so basically it goes on, um, and it lists a bunch of statistics that they found from the, uh, from the survey itself. But the overall sentiment sentiment is that the survey reveals. That there is still a need to educate Americans about cannabis while consumer demand is growing exponentially. Now is the time to bring sophisticated and approachable products to market that people can trust. That is a quote from Kim Sanchez rail, uh, via press release. So she's, uh, she's doing well. She's smart. Yeah. Yes. Uh, yeah, Kim. Absolutely. So, I mean, I don't really have much more to add to this, but I will say. What an interesting fact, man, I don't know who thinks about these questions, but like props or that person gives them today off.Exactly. That was a great question. And uh, brought a little fun in my Friday for sure. So moving right along, I know you touched on it earlier this week, but actor, Seth Rogen, uh, comedians, Sarah Silverman, kickstart cannabis in common campaign. I know you touched on the federal side of it, but, um, They came together to help kickstart cannabis in common, a public education campaign aimed at getting cannabis consumers, the broader public air and the broader public to contact their legislators about passing, meaningful, meaningful cannabis reform at the federal level.Nice. Yeah. I mean, it's really great for them to get involved. I think, um, this is, this is the type of industry where having a platinum. Could help. I mean, not, I'm not at all going to get political, but obviously you're always going to have discourse if you choose a side politically, but the vast majority of American people don't understand why this is illegal. So, you know, for them to get on board with this and, and push just common sense legislation through and utilize their platform to do so, puts pressure on politicians. Um, you know, so. You know, and more and more people get on board. Obviously, Seth Rogan been in the cannabis industry for a long time, Sarah Silverman, uh, for a time as well.Um, you know, and Willie Nelson and, and Jim Belushi and all these other celebrities that are in, um, you know, they're being as loud as they can, but there are others out there who could jump in, you know, and they don't have to be major smokers. To understand that this new industry would provide a lot back to this country.Right? I mean, there's always going to be like the Willie Nelson's and then the Seth Rogan's, there's always going to be a face and a voice of the general cannabis consumer. And I think it's, it's great for people with their stature to, you know, really push for these kinds of initiatives and, you know, Nudge Congress, uh, along because without them, you know, irregular people, excuse me, us regular people would definitely, our voices would get passed along for sure.Uh, generally, so definitely having a more prominent voice as the, uh, As the voice of the people in a sense, right? Yeah. Yeah. Thank you. Leo DiCaprio with his environmental work. I mean, he brings a huge spotlight to it and has become very well-known for it. So, um, I, you know, ideally, you know, if you have a platform you're using it for good would be the through line there and maybe an obvious one, but I don't think everybody, uh, everybody that has a platform.Maybe, maybe things like that. I don't know. I don't know. I don't have a platform yet, but that's what we're working on with cannabis daily in order to push cannabis through right. Cannabis daily is going to be the deciding factor for federal legalization. Absolutely. That was an absolute joke. Um, anyways, you got one more, man.Right? I got one more, some good news for Malaysia. Some international news let's end it off here. Uh, so you can get the full story here on benzinga.com/cannabis. I'm me give you a little teaser, Elliot, you know, so medical cannabis in Malaysia, importation and consumption. Is now allowed, uh, Malaysian health minister, Kyrie Gemo Loudin, uh, reported that ju Southeast Asian country will allow the importation and use of cannabis. For medical medicinal purposes. A prescription will be required to purchase medical marijuana. Prescriptions may only be issued by a registered physician or. Uh, as Bloomberg reported as well. So a good news for Malaysia. It's, it's great to see, uh, you know, cannabis coming in a more regulated sense, uh, to those countries, um, east island countries.Yeah, yeah. Southeast, right? Yep. That's awesome, man. I mean, this is huge. Asia is long considered just such a massive opportunity for this industry, but very few companies are taking. Um, the, the step toward it, I will say maybe like NPX out of Canada, maybe audacious brands out of the U S or two that I can think of publicly off the top of my head. But, um, Asia is, is that going to be a tough market overall, but any inches that are moved there? Um, so keep an eye on these international companies as well. You know, I know Tilray is focused on Europe. Um, inner cure is probably focused more on Canada, Israel, and probably some European activations as well.Obviously if you're a Latin American companies, but, um, Uh, Southeast Asia could bring a whole new aspect of this ball game. So, uh, that's very cool, man. Awesome. Aaron preciate you man. Always good to get you on. Sounds like you're fighting a little cold or allergies or something. So just a little bit, just a little bit, but we'll where are we going to bounce back?Come back, even stronger. My man, my man. Get that. C double dose today. All right, y'all appreciate you paying it. Beta dungeon for 20 minutes. I think this might take the cake for our longest episode yet, but I blame earnings. It is not our fault. It is the fact that you all decide to have all these people report earnings at the same time.Um, no, but really this is a blast. Please review as rate us on any podcasting network. Um, you can give us one star or five. Obviously we prefer five. Um, but you know, in anything. Making us known as, uh, one of the ways to start your morning for cannabis news. Thanks all we look forward to doing this again Monday.Have a great weekend. I am about halfway through my needed coffee for the start of this week. We have a lot of news already coming out for the cannabis industry. This is Elliot lane, bringing you cannabis insights, stock movement, and news every week, day around 10:00 AM. As always thanks to Aaron Thomas and Benzinga for helping me put this on.Let's dive in. All right. So a few, uh, stock performance notes for the month of October Canadian stocks drop 9% overall in October Aurora cannabis that's ACB on the NASDAQ was the best tier one performer at minus 6%. Best tier one performers is Aurora cannabis, minus 6% beating Tilray canopy and village farms. The biggest gainer overall was oils. O I L S. That is Paul Peterson's company. Next leaf solutions. They're manufacturing. Uh, and I do believe they had a product come to light recently that has probably helped their bottom line. So solid work to that team. They work incredibly hard and have a very strong IP portfolio.Next biggest gainers, there were. We just had a bit of a rough year, uh, but nice to see them. Um, pushing ahead here and flour F L w R uh, worst performers or Bev Cana. I M C C P U L L. And Hexo I think Hexo is still going to start trending up here soon. I have hope and faith. Uh, they are doing a lot of interesting things.Keep an eye on them for a better November, hopefully. And ciliary stocks drop 8% in October biggest winners, IPR AFCG. And MLCP, if you don't recognize those tickers, those are all REITs. They're all real estate investment trusts in this industry. And they have all had very big months. New lake capital. The in LCP is a newer stock.Uh AFCG is, is newer. All things considered as well. IPR has a maintenance. Uh, but those three are moving incredibly strong and it's funny to me, cause they're all chasing in a sense. They're not necessarily chasing because they are not succeeding, but Polaris equity group, a private REIT, uh, seems to be one of the leaders in that space. So REITs having a very strong second half of the year, thus far biggest loser was green lane, G and L N surprising to me, uh, as they do have a strong merger in their back pocket with. Hydroponics companies grow generation AgriFood. urban grow. We're all losers, unfortunately for a F O R a. That is foreign, uh, is a data provider and data company, uh, on the precipice of gains. They were the best of the losers. So overall anciliary stocks drop 8% on October Canadian stocks dropped 9% in October. Um, Uh, you know, uh, there's some highlights in there as well. T God F T G O D F um, acquiring galaxy brands, Corp expanding their product portfolio with Bates pre-rolls solventless products.Uh, they also have an exclusive joint venture with a us edibles brand. Um, so overall I think a strong acquisition target for the green organic Dutchman here. Galaxy leadership also includes two former canopy growth exacts, uh, from a while back. Uh, having some strong, uh, canopy or cannabis, uh, experience come into play there as well.Entourage, a cannabis company, formerly weed MD that's ETR, G F closes, acquisition of craft cultivator can TX that's C a N N T X life sciences, iMac, iMac life sciences. That officially becomes curely international in Europe. They are to my knowledge, the largest cannabis company in Europe, at least at the time.Uh, manifest seven M in FSF, we're getting into a little earnings here. Reports Q3 20, 21 earnings revenue up 11% quarter over quarter to 4.2 million decently sparse earnings report. So I'm not sure there was a whole lot for them to jump on, but something to look at when they report Q4 and their overall year earnings, uh, here in a few.Uh, Christina lake see LCFF, a nice big Q3 earnings report revenues up 495% quarter over quarter up to 1.29 million expenses decreased 10 and a half percent. Last earnings report of the day I are can listed on the CSC, a Y U R revenues up 1000. 149% year over year. It's incredible up to 7.6, 3 million, uh, last but not least, I think, worth mentioning, uh, Pablo's won it released a note on Cantor Fitzgerald, downgrading them to neutral with a price target of $11 80 cents down from $18.Arguing that canopy growth Corp is ahead of. In building a U S ecosystem, which is not surprising until Ray has not prioritized it and has, has been vocal about not prioritizing. But canopy growth also has a stronger balance sheet, uh, with a supportive constellation brands and a stronger CPG unit and CPG presence. That one is surprising to me says Tilray will need major M and a to achieve long-term sales goals of, I believe it was 4 billion overall, not as super positive. I think from Pablo until right. TLR. Why that being said he is not trashing them in any way, shape or form. He's basically saying, prove it to me, show me what you got and let's see if you can match the hype that Tilray has generated this year.Um, overall I think a strong day of news, a lot of Canadian discussions being had right now, uh, of course Tilray CGC. Um, I think getting a little shout out there from Paula. Um, but this is Elliot lane cannabis daily. I hope you guys got some out of this. We'll do this again every day, this week. Uh, let us know what you think.Let us know what you want to hear cannabis. Our benzinga.com. What is up? It is Friday. Hope you all have a, had a very successful week trading. I'm not going to lie. Some of my tech stocks have been wonderful to me this week. That being said, cannabis stocks, as it goes with the industry so far since February, not looking too pretty, but I think there's some interesting news for us to cover. So is Elliot lane with cannabis daily as always bringing you cannabis insights, news, and stock picks for your day ahead. And as always on Friday, Aaron Thomas is going to pop in with some cool tidbits on just cannabis culture in general. So let's dive right in on this fine Friday morning. Hexo H E X O on the NASDAQ with a strong Q4 earnings report. They have been on the bottom side of the bottom side. When it comes to trends in this industry, they are an OG. Licensed producer in Canada. Um, their net sales grow 71% quarter over quarter and 43% year over year. This is Hexo is best quarter of sales to date net revenue increased to 38.7 million from 22.6 million in Q3.Their net revenue is up 53% from the financial year 2020. Uh, to 123 and a half million of this financial year, and they also completed these xenopus acquisition. Overall, this might be the best news I've seen out of Hexo with the exception of their sustainability efforts, uh, this year. Uh, honestly, I I'm thrilled for them.I hope they get a nice bump in their, uh, price, their share price today. Cause I, I think it's earned after this report. It's a lot of international sales driving. This. Keep that in mind, Canadian sales are still what they are. Um, but Hexo is doing what they can to stay ahead of the trends of this industry.Halo collective H C a N D hires, new SVP of retail with major tech background, apple, Microsoft, Comcast, and their retail departments. And they rebrand their California. Dispensary's to bodega T M. So halo, collective, I believe, wants to launch 10 of these in California with the first one opening in late December, goodness growth, their subsidiary Verio health, which was what they formerly were.Launches whole flower in the New York market, uh, for medical patients at the moment, life has wellness. That's in STT F boasts 12% year over year growth to 7.1 million overall 34% growth in their cannabis divisions, their gross profit doubled year over year. I love this news for them when they were Nama.Stay again. I've said this before. Not looking too great at the end there. And then they rebranded and I've really loved the news. That's come out since then. Seoul global. This is painless at S O L C F nine month period, ending August 31st reported a net income of 210 and a half million. Uh, over the same timeframe. The previous year was 47.9 million. A huge. Huge growth over that nine months from your over year, that being said three month period ending at the same time was a loss of 62 and a half million. This year. The previous year was a game of 43.7 million bit confusing. So. Uh, their most recent quarter that they can report on is decently unsuccessful. That being said, it has been a much more successful year for them so far than 2020. Uh, so something to keep an eye on their soul global is a long standing, I would say holdings company, investment firm in this industry. So, um, I respect what they do. I, I. Um, you know, kind of following them and Brady and them.Uh, but overall, I don't know how to feel about this news, so it kind of a watch list or for me there. All right. So that's it for me, let's bring on the actual celebrity of cannabis daily producer, a T come on over button. Elliot you are too nice to me. I swear. No, man, you keep me going. You keep this alive. What do you got for us today, man? It's been what, three weeks since we had the flooding. Yeah, it's been a while. And what's up canopy hips. It's definitely been a while and you know, it's great to be back. It's been a busy three weeks. We've had the Benzinga cannabis capital conference followed by MJ biz con.Lot of great content, a lot of great networking, a lot of great presentations and a lot of great companies. So it was just a whole lot of fun and a lot of go, go, go, but just glad to be back. Amen to that. My friend couldn't have done it without air and either all that content available on YouTube and.com/cannabis, just saying exactly.Exactly. Listen to Elliot. He's the man with the plan. All right, let's get right into it. You know, this is why you guys are here. Some Canada. Cultural news first. Federal survey, identify as mark. That marked decline in youth marijuana use, uh, data provided by the substance abuse, mental health services administration. That is a mouthful, most recent national survey on drug use and health finds that marijuana. Fell significantly year over year among those ages, 12 to 17 specifically reports the past year marijuana use amongst amongst teens fell 13.2% in 2019 to 10.1% in 2020. Wow. So I mean, wow. That is quite the decline there.Yeah. Well, I mean, not to interrupt you, dude. No, no. I was just about to ask you, what do you think has been attributing to this? Well, I mean, when you don't have black market or gray market sales, obviously you limit the unregulated sales and licensed holders right now are not going to risk selling to under-aged consumers.Right. So, uh, I think that's one thing, but I think it's also interesting to mention. Um, you know, politicians such as governor Gavin, Gavin Newsom in California, will not advertise on billboards to protect our use. And you know, it's this law, this lagging thought that marijuana is a gateway drug. And it's this, this study basically says no to all of that.Like, you know, it's. Um, there's more of a use to this. There's more of a purpose to cannabis now than there was before. Uh, and this is this study I think is super interesting. And honestly it takes the wind out of the sails for some politicians, like, um, the democratic governor in California and the Republican governor in south, South Dakota, you know, both kind of utilizing. The youth pretense, uh, to protect their youth. Uh, it's just interesting to me, but I mean, good bit of news. Yeah. I totally agree with you. And I, I also want to add, I think that there's just been a lot more education around it and so people know, you know, what is safe and how they, how they best can experience the product and how to keep it away from those that aren't ready for it.So definitely a great, great a step forward for the next. Amen brother. What, uh, what else? So let's keep it going. Uh, so we have Halloween right around the corner. It is this weekend. So just a quick heads up the state attorneys, general warn of cannabis, edibles that look like snacks and candy ahead of Halloween. So like they look like that. So I look, yeah, it looks like, uh, people are. Pudding edibles that look like candy into, you know, these kids' little bags. Oh yeah. That is so rude. Oh, the attorney general attorneys general and several states issued warnings this week about cannabis products that look like normal snacks and candy. The warning comes amid a national trend of children accidentally consuming them. And just days before Halloween, my dog on the ground right now. Yeah. It, it, I mean, it's, it's, it's crazy. Like just, just the thought that you would give a small child, um, you know, any cannabis at all. It's just not the smartest thing. You see, there's still some parts of this industry where we just, Lord, we are still, um, still a, still a bit of ways away, uh, with people in this industry, making it difficult for those in the legal side to do anything because news like this just, it holds everybody back. And those that are against the cannabis industry can point to things like this.I mean, obviously it's illegal. If they're making it look like candy, you know, if it was real, they get sued out the wazoo. You know, I mean, w what are you doing, giving this to a five-year-old like, what pleasure do you get out of that? And just knowing that they're going to get high. Exactly. And just another note, make sure to lock up all your cannabis products, especially if you have small children around you, uh, you know, make sure it's, you know, locked away, put away, uh, not accessible by anyone, but you or someone of a.So just a, just a quick disclaimer, that my friend, I believe you have one more for us, right? I do have one more. And this is a, this is some good news for the state of New York. Uh, New York becomes the first state to prohibit employers from testing. Most employees for cannabis. So random. Yeah. So New York residents need not fear losing their jobs due to recreational marijuana use anymore. The New York department of labor confirmed that employers are now prohibited from testing their employees for the presence of cannabis. While employers are still allowed to penalize workers for being impaired on the job, the threshold to proving impairment has significantly been raised such as like the odor of weed is now not sufficient, uh, is not sufficient. To, you know, raise questions or drugs. Interesting. Well, I'm in good for New York. I mean, it's the same as you know, I, I drink a lot of nights, you know, or like a beer and I don't get tested for that before I come to work, I've been saying it. So it's like, if I'm, you know, smoking a joint one night, why should I get tested? But if I come to work and pair, it makes sense. Y'all be smart about it. You can't just be high all the time. Um, honestly good for New York way to set that standard. I bet a lot of markets that are already legalized will follow very quickly. Awesome Aaron. Good news today, man. That was a nice wrap-up. Thank you.Thank you. I appreciate it. It's just, you know, it felt great being back. So I just, you know, we had to go, we had just had to come that hard. Ah, amen. My friend. Amen. We're going to do this again next week. It has been a full week of cannabis daily y'all thanks for tuning in and listening. Aaron, thanks to you as always in a Benzing a for letting us do this every morning.Looking forward to doing it again on Monday, we will see you all.Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/cannabis-daily/donationsAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

I have been out of pocket since I believe it was last Tuesday with Benzing as cannabis capital conference. We hosted many industry leaders and investors and those. Uh, jumping into the space, if you will, in New York city for a couple of days at the end of last week, if you want to check out that content, please head to Benzing as YouTube or head to BZ cannabis.com.Some incredible discussions happen there would love your all's feedback. Hit me up at cannabishour@benzinga.com, but let's jump into the point of our podcast today. Cannabis stock picks and news. Quite a bit of it much more today than there was last Monday. I'll tell you that. Uh, so let's jump in that's Oxley. They are a Canadian-based LP reaches number six in total cannabis sales in Canada for Q3 2021. That's a pretty big jump for them, uh, in terms of. The expectations they're setting more than anything else. Uh, numbers wise, uh, you know, it, it's probably a respectable jump, but I think in terms of the visibility, they're trying to set the expectations they're trying to set and who they want to be considered.Uh, as a competitor to, I like this press release. I liked the competition as a CPG company, and I look for more from them, uh, in Q4 and 2020. Can tab that is CT a B F a company that, uh, is really known for harnessing cannabinoid and terpene blends in pill form. Uh, there a therapeutic company announces a new partnership with 36 8 technologies. That is a company that leverages data, uh, for pharmaceutical companies and drugs for doctors, nurses, et cetera. So, uh, they're gonna market their, uh, pills for them. So I think that's a good partnership for canteen. Hexo that's H E X O on the NASDAQ announces the departure of CEO and COO their CEO was Sebastian.Um, he was also a co-founder. So been there from the start Hexo is one of the OGs in Canada in this space. I love what he did at the company, but, um, I also think it was time for a change. They were not on a positive trajectory. Uh, they did make some interesting acquisitions, some interesting investors. And I love their sustainability effort.Uh, but overall Hexo, uh, just could not seem to right the ship. So, uh, Seb taking a step down there, um, you know, interested to see where he goes, as well as, uh, who Hexo brings in after him. I I P R that's innovative industrial properties acquires a California property for 51 million. That is a 201,000 square foot industrial property for gold flora. They are a private, but well-respected California brand. I think I, I P. Gets their money's worth from this valance company enters into Quebec, the third largest cannabis market in Canada. Uh, about 15%, uh, of, of Canadians and users there. Um, overall kind of a broad stroke here for Valens. We'll see how this plays out for them, but, uh, they have been very busy.Uh, fighting for as much market share as possible. A lot of partnerships with LPs coming out recently. Uh, so I always like keeping an eye on them to see what's next high tide hit. I entered into a revolving credit facility with ATB financial of up to 25 million. And here's the kicker for me at less than 6%.So a solid facility for. Vexed VE XTF known for being a leading brand portfolio in Arizona, secures a manufacturing license in Ohio and moves toward vertical integration in the state. I think when you look at the MSLs and the state, like Jewishy, uh, like some of the other ones, perhaps a body of. Um, they have not had as much competition recently, but a company like vexed coming in there should put them on edge a little bit.In my opinion, vexed is a well-respected public company in this space, especially in the manufacturing side, uh, concentrates, et cetera. So, you know, an interesting move there and I I'd love to see. Uh, how this plays out market share wise, New Jersey announces 14 new medical marijuana licenses on Friday, as we probably all heard this includes who was also at the Benzinga cannabis capital conference.Uh, and last but not least for the news aspect, Drake invests in Toronto based pot company, bull rider just a few months after his partnership with canopy ends. So a lot of news today, I think high tide is probably a winner with their credit facility. The Hexo news is positive news to me. Um, I think ultimately IPR will, will again, continue to get their money's worth. So I think ultimately, yes. Uh, positive news in the industry. And as we move into MJ business week, I think you'll see a lot more announcements come out with companies, trying to take the spotlight and trying to be the winner of the week. Uh, so stay tuned y'all to bending as coverage of the industry and of the week benzinga.com/cannabis.This is Elliot lane as always thanks to Benzinga and Aaron Thomas we'll do this again. Uh, definitely Wednesday, if not tomorrow, as well as we will be in transit to MJ biz, but we will try and get one in for you. Thanks all. It is Wednesday. It is another hump day here. Welcome to cannabis daily. This is Elliot lane from Ben Zynga as always thanks to Aaron Thomas and our friends for helping. Happen. We've got a lot to cover today from earlier this week, as well as news that is coming overnight. So let's jump into the cannabis space here a little earlier this week, shots a heritage, Candace.I did not mention this, but H R T F is now supplying Australian companies with medical cannabis products. They have truly, uh, just dove in the past few months, uh, and through expansion and getting their name out there, uh, working in new partnerships, expanding. I'm really liking what I'm seeing out of her.Uh, Corona a couple news items this week. Uh, they are K E R N on the NASDAQ, their current investors reinvested $20 million via convertible debt financing into the company. Uh, and, and they completed the acquisition of 365 cannabis, which I believe was about 17 million. Uh, so two. Really nice bits of news for Corona there this week.Uh, I'd love to see their stock trend up a little bit because I think they've earned it to be quite honest with you guys. I think Jessica does a pretty fantastic job over there. Uh, interesting bit of news that isn't necessarily directly related to a stock. The former med men. Exactly. Uh, filed a suit against their new work company.I should say coastal holdings, there are no longer directly associated, but they say they have a right to approve the sale or. To the parent company, they filed a lawsuit with their company or former company, coastal holdings. I gotta tell you, these guys are just not really ever in the news for the right reasons.Uh, interesting bit of news there though. Cantor Fitzgerald releases two reports. Jewishy price target was downgraded to $4 from $4 and 80 cents. Uh, however Pablo remained neutral on them. The Aurora price targets. Upgraded that's NASDAQ listed ACB to $9 and 50 cents Canadian from $8 and 30 cents Canadian due to increased export projections, Pablo expecting roughly 9 million in exports to Israel in the December quarter, and also expects Aurora to be a key player in Germany, Poland, and France, honestly, y'all this is the first bit of good news for ACB.I have. In some time. Uh, so, you know, Pablo. Not necessarily giving up hope, uh, on their numbers, on their projections. Uh, I think, I think this is interesting for more shareholders and hopefully can, can battle some of that dilution we've seen recently urban grow their stock is Eugene borrow on the national.Uh, is up their stock is up on the announcement of the launch of its financial services division. The end game here being to provide its clients cap ex leasing solutions. And this is happening with a partnership with X S financial fire and flower. That is F F L w F on the OTC advances, their partnership with circle caves, parent company to open new fire and flower.Dispensary's adjacent. To existing circle K stores in Canada. The first of these will be an Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. This is I think, a massive potential here for fire and flower, a circle K obviously being a pretty regular store in the states as well. So, uh, the idea here being to extend this into the U S and when the opportunity arises.Probably after federal legalization plays out a nice little article on benzinga.com/cannabis yesterday, grow generation that's G RWG once, uh, this year, and maybe still considered by some, to be the cannabis. Has a better five-year return then get this game. Stop AMC and Blackberry. So GRW G better five-year return the game, stop and Blackberry head to benzinga.com/cannabis for that full article in diva, that's in D V a F borrows, an additional eight and a half million from sundial, S N D L sun stream.Bancorp, as I've said before I applaud sundial and what they've done, uh investment-wise and putting their. Uh, in back into the space, uh, and helping and really taking advantage of that mean stock status, uh, to grow different aspects of their business. I love this partnership. Uh, am I, once again, applaud it.Hexo hex partnership with Molson. Uh, for their very Vel CBD beverage is now expanding to 17 states. Uh, once again, Hexo, you know, we've seen some cool news sustainability wise, uh, but not really, um, visible for all the right reasons this year, since, uh, especially since their acquisition. Um, I believe it was, um, um, xenopus it was their acquisition of cannabis, but, uh, this is a great bit of news for them.A couple more here. Y'all high tide hit. I listed on the NASDAQ has been added to the bud X ETF on the nicey for growth forms for a pharma and launches global clinical trials utilizing. Uh, artificial intelligence and machine learning to help develop drugs from the cannabis plant that interact with certain gene targets responsible for specific diseases and conditions, just incredibly broad.Nobody knows what that means other than they are enacting a biotech arm. Uh, but I'm all for R and D whenever we can get it. So let's see how this, um, this grows and evolves there. Uh, last bit of news stock wise that I'll announce today. buys cannabis and hemp extract. Uh, equipment companies for 50 million that is cascade and precision extraction solutions, both in incredible companies. And precision is a powerhouse. They've, they've been a private powerhouse for a long time, and , in my opinion is making an incredible acquisition here. Uh, again, that's NASDAQ listed. HGF why, so y'all a ton of news today, uh, covering some from earlier this week, but a lot from, uh, over in the night as well.Uh, once again, this is Elliot lane with cannabis daily. Thanks again to Erin Thomas y'all check out B Z cannabis.com. That's BZ cannabis.com. Our event is next Thursday and Friday. It is taco Tuesday. What's up. This is Elliot laying with cannabis daily as always thanks to Benzinga and Aaron Thomas, the one and only producer without, uh, with out him. I would be nowhere. Apparently I can't even talk. So thank you for letting me talk today. Aaron, let's jump into some cannabis news and stock picks.First up, we got valance V L N C F enters into six new manufacturing. Six three of these are with top seven Canadian LPs. Uh, so perhaps the balance continuing to grow there really seems partnership portfolio. They work with, it seems everybody in Canada, uh, which I think is a brilliant strategy. Honestly, I really do a vibe growth corporation. This is a California operator and a very well-respected one that's been around for several years is on the OTs. Uh, Q X. That is, that is V I B E F. Uh, they are pretty fantastic, uh, brand portfolio, California operators. So I definitely recommend keeping them on your watch list. Let's see how they perform in the coming months.Uh, but I'm excited to add them to the Y. Illinois cannabis sales increased 80% year over year in September to 122 million Bev cannon B V N N F taps into a new distributor that is U and F I and Canada to distribute their products to new retailers. And then last little bit of news today. Very interesting.I am a bit torn on this to be quite honest with you. Tilray T L R Y paid Simon $13.2 million in cash bonuses. Uh, for a total compensation of around 30 million. Now, if any executive in this space probably deserves it, I would imagine Erwin is one of those in contention, right? Uh, I will also say that others who have received millions in the cannabis executive space, uh, in the past have not done so well, leading their companies into the.Um, if you can pick up the hint I'm land down there. So that being said, I don't think this shows a lot of respect for the history of the cannabis program, but that being said, this is going to happen. Y'all I mean, executives are going to get paid. I don't think this is necessarily a negative news story if they can back it up.Uh, and you know, I, I think it'd be interesting to see if Simon purchases repurchases and he shares, uh, with all this compensation or if he has. Let's jump into a little bit of performance tracking here. So over the past week, month and three months, everybody's in the red licensed producers. Multi-state operators, extractors, international plays, uh, biopharma, uh, investment companies and ciliary companies, the ETFs, they are all in the red.Uh, however, there are some that are doing. Relatively. Well, I want to call out a stock that I called out for a while earlier this year, uh, kind of went a little bit less visible, and now it's starting to peak back out a little bit. Over the past week, there are 13% that is, can source them. And over the past month up five and a half percent, I think there are very reliable stock. Not necessarily swinging wildly either way. Uh, but I love what the team is doing there. They have a new executive team as of earlier, this. Uh, and I, I think they're doing pretty well. Uh, slang and truly both in the green, uh, over the past month, uh, truly above about one and a half percent, but slang up almost 14 and a half percent.Uh, just a few others here. I ant this capital continuing to blow everybody out of the water in three months, performance history with 123% growth. They have absolutely read exploded onto the scene. We all know what happened. Uh, and then in the loser category, all Hexo is still, still leading. That one is strong and a strong in a way here at 66 and a half percent down over the past three months. So y'all, there's a lot happening, um, in this space. There's some companies that are moving forward very strongly. Like I anthis like, uh, Nexleaf solutions is back in the green light. And some that have some work to do like Hexo, but I think they're doing it. And I'm excited to see where they go. Especially if they're new sustainability announcement. This is Elliot lane with cannabis daily. Thanks. As always for listening. I look forward to doing this again tomorrow. Hope you all had a very restful, relaxing and or fun and party filled weekend, whatever you want. I hope you had it. Uh, but it is Monday. We are back to making money, especially when we come to. Investing in cannabis. There's a lot to talk about today. So let's dive right in a M S O S. That is the advisor shares. ETF is the talk of the town right now. Uh, they saw a double bottom they're at a record high 27.21 million shares and is at 342% year over year. Their volume has been fantastic over the past week. Uh, so keep an eye on them. Uh, I'm liking. A trend that we're seeing from, from him S uh, and if that is reflective of the industry, this could be a great week for cannabis stocks. So, uh, very excited to see how that continues this week. Uh, I would definitely put them on your watch list if not throw a share into your mix, the good broad term. Unanimously approved legislation that will allow to tap opportunities in the growing market for medicinal cannabis, a little more, uh, international cannabis news, piggybacking off the wonderful Aaron Thomas from Friday, uh, some domestic news though on the political side, the house committee will vote on federal marijuana legalization bill.Next week, days after banking reform advances. This is exciting. This is the more active they are voting. I absolutely do not expect this to go anywhere. Uh, the safe act is what we're focusing on right now. Um, from my understanding, this is more of a markup, more of a let's talk about it. Let's let's compromise again.Let's see where we can go. Uh, and we'll see where it comes. Uh, this, but this bill would remove cannabis as a scheduled drug, allow those with marijuana convictions to have their records expunged and allow a federal tax on marijuana. Ideally replacing 2 88 and I, which hopefully safe would do as well.Jackie Bryant from high times reports on massive oversupply problem, especially in California, the price drops. Four products are driving a lot of craft growers and smaller farms to a breaking point. Now this will eventually affect the little farms, the parent companies, the vibe bio-sciences and a few others. But, uh, right now they are able to survive something like this. But this is an issue to keep an eye on, especially for the California operators of wellness. That's a w H reaches a milestone of 1 million. In contributions to the last prisoner project, uh, one of the major, uh, advocacy groups for decriminalizing and legalizing marijuana, uh, and, and helping right, the wrongs, uh, that criminalizing marijuana has done too many throughout this.Uh, audacious brands, a U S a F beginning, a $15 million capital raise. I do not expect that to take them long. They have an incredible management team. Terry Booth, one of the original Aurora cannabis, uh, executive teams, mark clockmaker and incredible IRR person in this. Uh, John Paul and a few others. Uh, so I expect that to go relatively quickly for them stem holdings, that's driven by stem expands, a California e-commerce and delivery footprint with new distribution hub license, perhaps news, like this will help the oversupply problem. And in terms of, uh, expanding the. Um, the consumer reach for the supply problem. Uh, so we'll see if hopefully more news like this can, uh, can help these younger craft growers get their products out. Delta nine, DLT and F announces S supply partnership agreement with vivo cannabis, giving them access to vivos 20,000 medical cannabis patients.Delta nine has been on the move recently, very much enjoying the visibility we're seeing for them, vivo cannabis, quite the opposite, uh, to, to me pre COVID, they were a darling of the Canadian cannabis industry. Uh, they were one of the first movers in e-commerce and then, um, nothing, I haven't heard much out of them at all.So, uh, Delta nine and vivo, uh, I enjoy this partnership. I think two strong companies, but vivo, I think, uh, has some ground to make. Uh, but perhaps to Delta nine, John R Beth, not Ian Chatsy and team over there looking at price performance. Um, over the past week, month and three months, I ant this continues to be the three-month leader with 110 and a half percent growth over three months in credible ignite international brands. That's Dan Bilzerian is brand, uh, not too far behind 105 and a half percent. How, uh, it felt keep that Dan Bilzerian is known to just do what he wants, but, uh, we'll, we'll see, uh, looking in the shorter term, even co that's a Canadian operator Eve, uh, is at 50% on the week, uh, on the month, you're looking at MGC pharmaceuticals at 45% on the loser side. It's unfortunate because they were once one of my favorite stocks, but next screen. Down 27.9% over the line last month. Hexo one of the big losers over the three. Bang. Uh, this is an interesting one for me, 16.7% down over the last week, but they did just announce a major partnership, uh, with Belushi farms. So, uh, that is something that I would say this might be a dip buying opportunity for bang B H and G specifically. Uh, this is Elliot lane with cannabis daily, lots to talk about today. I hope you got a lot out of it. A lot to look. Uh, over the next few days, uh, pay attention to us. Hope you all had a wonderful Monday and are having an even better Tuesday so far as always. Thanks to Benzinga and the producer here, Aaron Thomas. He is the man a little lighter news morning than yesterday, but definitely some items to touch on.Let's get started, Florida activists file another bill to legalize adult use. I think they do this once every other month, uh, to no avail. Uh, I'll have hope when it makes it through, but it definitely would be a huge bit of news for those such as TCN and F truly air wellness, Ayr, WF consortium, that's C and T M F a.So keep an eye on that news. If it does legalize opens up opportunity for those that are already, uh, have a monstrous footprint there, Gary Santo, he is the head man, the head hunter. Over at tilt. That is T L L T F tweets about 30 minutes ago. Uh, that they're opening a second to dispensary in Massachusetts, soft opening October 1st, grand opening, October 16th.Exciting news for Gary. They've been a bit quiet lately, but, uh, overall love tale, love what they do. They work with everybody massive player in this industry. And I think setting themselves up to be a long time. A staple of the cannabis space. So keep an eye on T L L T F a in all the conversations we have here, as they work with MSOE in a wholesale capacity, uh, they have, uh, uh, Jupiter, uh, they have tons of ways they can work with people, including medical cannabis, S TMH that's driven by stem or stem holdings acquired artifact extracts yesterday, an extractor in Oregon, known for its award-winning concentrates, along with two dispensers. Now Oregon is nothing to write home about when you expand into Oregon, just due to how much opportunity there is to be an Oregon. Uh, but it is important for stem to expand further into the west coast. Uh, they are a big old brand portfolio, but I believe they are farm to table vertically integrated. Uh, I love their acquisition of driven deliveries a while ago, and I think they'll be around for a little bit, but, uh, stem is one of those where they, they could be an M and a target, or they could continue to grow organically.A little bit of an underdog in this industry right now until they, uh, start duking it out with the tier one operators, a little down the line per new cannabis ventures, three anciliary stock showing good entry points at a Scott's miracle grow, uh, and their investment arm Hawthorne, uh, grow generation and hydro farm.Uh, so keep an eye on the anciliary plays in this industry. I think that also holds over to. K E R N urban gro UGR oh, perhaps Leafly, uh, when they do spec, but overall, the anciliary site has always been important to the cannabis capital markets. Connecticut patients can grow their own marijuana, medical, marijuana, excuse me, medical marijuana, starting October 1st, I check out a new Tilray article T L R.Uh, on benzinga.com/cannabis needs to hold above a key resistance level. This is very important for their stock. Uh, this is an incredible article by Javier and his team. So please head over there to check that out. I, I P are the leading REIT, uh, in Canada. Uh, enters the Missouri market via 28 and a half million dollar deal with Calex peak.Count's peak is a very large private operator, private MSO in this space been very quiet this year. Uh, but this could be a very interesting entrance point there as Missouri has been a talking point recently with heritage. Uh, and the several others taking a extensive looks into that market last but not least after looking at a lot of charts this morning of the major stocks like CGC, like OGI like, FLDC like Yolo.Uh, like Hexo, uh, they have a very similar pattern, uh, with a small dip, a recover and a long depth, longer depth and a recovery yesterday or over the past two days. But really yesterday, uh, I'd love to see, uh, that continued to rise. Um, obviously I, I do believe it will fall a little bit upon opening, but, uh, hopefully we see that, uh, trending up today. And w I think overall it's a reflection upon the. And the sentiments on the market, which alas, as we all know, has little to do with the technicals of the cannabis space. This is Elliot lane with cannabis daily, uh, bringing you stock news and picks in the cannabis industry every weekday morning as always.Thank you all for listening. Welcome back to a week of making money in the green that's cannabis stocks and news. This is Elliot lane with cannabis daily from Benzinga. Thanks as always to Aaron Thomas, our fearless producer, a lot of news this morning. Points to discuss first, let's start with the talk of the town. The safe act has a chance has a chance with the national defense act, uh, to be included. I believe it's a 1700 page act and nobody really wants to hold. So there is a chance that it gets through. Ironically, the biggest worry at the moment is Senator Schumer, uh, who is one of the biggest advocates for legalizing. So we'll see if it can make it through, uh, this would be huge, absolutely huge for the industry. If safe could make it through more transparency from the MSO level, less robberies, as there will be less cash around all of this, ideally leading to less cartel activity. Belt black market demand. I believe in California alone, the black and gray market is around a billion dollars leading to far more sales for those already in the space, uh, creates more opportunity for social equity financing.Uh, this is a huge step forward at this can get past it. Potentially necessitate the need for uplifting to us exchanges, uh, which would be a massive push forward and help cannabis stocks start to reflect their technicals and fundamentals. So, uh, something that I'm keeping an eye on it, there's nothing that you can do, but keep an eye on it.But, uh, this would be absolutely massive. Uh, larger MSOE are getting significant, less percentages on debt and loans. GTI 7% loan Verano, 9.7, 5% of sin, 9.5. Compare that and those two item nine labs, 16% can source them who is also fluent cannabis, 13%, several other examples of this, but, uh, the MSOE are, are definitely, uh, getting significantly, uh, better rates on debt right now.So something to keep an eye on, more for the tier three operators. And potentially tier two operators as we move forward. A bit of international news, Italy likely to hold a referendum to decriminalize cannabis. Next year. When I think of that, I think of till rape and they've canceled. I think of a flower cor uh, several of these international producers, maybe Alafia health gets involved.Uh, former Pennsylvania Republican representative joins the board of red, white, and bloom. That's RWB YF and air wellness opens up a new dispensary in west Pensacola, Florida, uh, that has Ayr WF making 41 stores in the state. Putting up a nice fight with true leave, but truly it's still absolutely dominating that market to end the day.I want to talk a little bit of price performance. Thanks to paradigm capital licensed producers and international stocks are not doing well over the last month. Both dropping between nine and 10%. Um, respect. Uh, those that are doing somewhat well are really just breaking even and investment companies and ciliary companies, extractors MSOE are down a little less than 1% on the month.Uh, and in the one week performance investment companies are up about half percent. Uh, that being said more specifically, I ant this continues to be the leader in, uh, one month and three. Performance, uh, it's 95% almost in the three month performance. Uh, the biggest loser I see across the board is really Hexo, uh, Hexo continues to drop, I think over the last month, around 40%, over the last three months, around 63 and a half percent.Um, I'd love for them to continue to push out good news. Like the sustainability effort. There's a lot to like about Hexo. Uh, they are not getting a lot of love in the markets. Uh, some other laggards to keep an eye on include next GreenWave and Charlotte's web both strong companies, uh, but both perhaps, uh, dip buying opportunities.Uh, at least I'm keeping them on my watch list. This is Elliot Lee, and I hope this is an interesting and useful start to your week with cannabis daily. Looking forward to doing this again tomorrow, go make some money. I hope all of you have had a successful, we can trading. It's definitely been up and down, uh, for myself, but I think we're ending the week on a high note. So very excited about that. Uh, as promised Aaron Thomas is coming on in a little bit with some cultural news, uh, devil or nothing today, my friend.Well, let's go ahead and dive into some stocks. Pablo's one. From Cantor Fitzgerald, uh, lowers the price target again for Aurora cannabis. That's ACB to $8 30 cents Canadian from $9 Canadian. The medical sales domestically make up about 90% of earnings in. Just leading that segment of the industry in Canada by massive amounts, but their recreational sales continue to take hits and decline. So Pablo is neutral on them. Uh, he's not bearish at this point. Um, and he's not at a sell at this point, but you know, nice to note that they could be a medical leader, but they are not, uh, making the strides they need on the recreational side. So, uh, we'll continue to monitor that. I think a watch list or.Uh, not quite ready to throw in some money there, keeping an eye on urban grow. That's UGR throw on the NASDAQ. I don't want to see them hit another low, uh, on the monthly charge. I want to see them a rise from where they are and if they do, I think, uh, the stock. I have a very nice into the year. B M M J that's body and mind closes in Ohio dispensary and processing facility with a mix of cash and stock, uh, body and mind, according to paradigm capital, uh, on the last.Is that 41.9%. Y'all 41.9%. They're not a high price in terms of their share price, but, uh, I love Mike Mills. I think he is a really, really phenomenal CEO in this space. Uh, and he has been relatively quiet until 2021. Uh, now he's starting to make moves. So B M J on the OTC, uh, Uh, and I will continue to be in Mike's court for the time being a terrorist NTRs SF receives Michigan pre-qualification approval for gage acquisition.Uh, so great news there, uh, in M S O S that is the ETF from advisor shares is up 8% on the year, uh, at a good point right now for them to see a nice little rebound upwards. Uh, so let's see what they can do over there, but, uh, that, that is good news. And I think. Uh, MSOE is about to see a nice spike. Uh, that's it for me, Aaron Thomas, are you there? My friend, what's going on? Zinger nation. Thank you for tuning into cannabis daily. Uh, you know, Elliot's been killing it throughout the week and you know, I wasn't, I wasn't on the podcast last week, but hopefully, you know, I make up for it this week as Elliott. Allie has been teasing all week. You know, we're excited over here.Let's get into it first up. So Arizona dispensary beach is trading pre-rolls for bras to fight breast cancer. A dispensary in Arizona is raising money to fight breast cancer. The creative way by trading old bras for new products. I love that. Yeah, that's a good example. I mean, we're seeing a lot more, we talked to Cameron Forney yesterday.I know you're going to get into that in a second, but, uh, you know, to see this industry take up arms for battles we've been fighting for decades, uh, I think is only going to help move this industry forward further. And that's a selfish statement, I guess, on my own part, but, uh, we're a community we're all in this together. And I love hearing stories like. Yeah, same. Um, also Cameron Forney. Uh, I'm going to get into that in a second, but he also did touch on, uh, you know, the packaging, uh, in cannabis and how it's, you know, very atrocious and everything. And this got, got me to, uh, got me to thinking, you know, the different types of initiatives that, you know, cannabis could introduce such as, you know, recycling programs for discounts, you know, things that could reduce the overall.Uh, you know, waste, I guess, something more sustainable. Yeah. Well, we talked about Hexo doing that. They reached carbon neutrality, um, by basically eliminating what would be about three and a half million, tons of plastic water. Um, or three and a half, uh, sorry, not three and a half million tons, three and a half million plastic water bottles.Um, so I mean, Hexo is doing it in Canada. Uh, obviously clearly if making an effort to do it here and Cameron with his mentors, I, I it's just so important. Investors are, are actively looking for who has sustained. Yep. Absolutely. And, and the retail investors as well are looking for, you know, that long-term play. And then for company aligns with their goals, then. So moving on, you know, more on Cameron Forney guys, if you guys didn't tune into the Benzinga cannabis, our catch us weekly 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM Eastern on Benzingers YouTube channel. But yesterday we were joined by Cameron Forney, the president of select and special advisor to the CEO of curely yesterday. He announced a new project, a hyperscale ventures that looks to release a product. That gets you high in increments of, in increments, similar to alcohol, but a great alternative for those that don't like alcohol, what do you think, Elliott? I mean, it's brilliant, you know, and I've always asked the question is the cannabis beverage space going to be closer to cannabis or alcohol? And to me, this venture makes it closer to alcohol, but almost better than alcohol, you know, this is, I mean, it's so much better for you than alcohol, and that is a scientific fact. So I mean, the fact, if he can be successful with this, this is, uh, an incredible step for this segment of the canvas. Most definitely.Um, I'm very interested in following this project and hearing more about it. Um, so moving on just a few more news items or cultural news items, I should say. Uh, if you haven't heard college age, adults are getting high at historic levels. Elliott, uh, college students are using cannabis and psychedelics at a higher rate than past years. While alcohol use is at a record low, you know, It's their laundry gateway drug. You know, I think we should all get rid of that terminology. Um, it's no longer a gateway drug. Um, and that, that being said, it's not legal everywhere. So, you know, if you're, if you're smoking in a state where it's not legal, Be be, be careful, be safe.Yeah. Um, you know, and, and psychedelics, you know, that's, that's a whole other discussion that I'm not going to advise anybody on, on this podcast, but, uh, it's not ultimately surprising. So, you know, and, and I think there's a comparison there with alcohol. Right. Um, let's see, in terms of like alcohol use going down.Yeah. So, uh, Let me find here. Um, well it essentially, I mean, basically cannabis use is going up. Alcohol use is going down. Yeah. I've been going down since 1980 is what he was saying. So. Pretty cool to see. I mean, it is, I like seeing this and hearing about it because, you know, it's, it's great to hear that teens aren't getting, you know, like blackout, um, alcohol, um, every week they're, you know, controlling themselves. They're having real relaxed nights and with cannabis, they're allowed to, you know, control, you know, their, their high a lot more, or, you know, their night to be more safe and such. Yeah. I mean, It's encouraging for this industry. It should be. And I think you can mix the two spaces with what Cameron's doing with what can C a N N is doing as a brand.Uh, canopy and air are both making steps in the beverage space. It's going to be a sector. So alcohol needs to honestly start moving into the sector soon because you already saw till Ray's acquisition of Sweetwater. Last three flights, Ivonne I've been on, I've had a Sweetwater. You know, so, I mean, they're everywhere like Tilray is, is already making moves into the alcohol space.I don't know what the alcohol space is waiting on in terms of getting into the cannabis space. Anyways, that's a longer conversation maybe for a canvas, our most definitely. And from me the last item, let's end it on, you know, a light hearted, you know, funny note. So in Tennessee, a granny. Uh, it was a granny has been caught or not caught. There's an article that states that granny flips off the police in a mugshot after a cannabis farm bust. Yes. This Tennessee woman was not about to go down without making a statement. Uh, so apparently when law enforcement officers searched the elderly women woman, And farm last Monday in Jackson county, Tennessee, they definitely got more than what they bargained for.Uh, Peggy Brewington told officers there was maybe announced maybe an ounce of pot on our farm before officers searched the premises and found dozens of cannabis plants, and 20 pounds of.Lea crud pet Peggy don't mess around, man. Peggy is about to become an industry hero. I'll tell you that right now, if that picture goes viral, which you may already have, that you got. Uh, keynote at one of our events I'm coming. She's got her mask on. It looks like it might be a Hawaiian shirt. And, uh, she's definitely showing no emotion.Just flipping off the camera. It's fantastic. She's like down with this BS. Oh man. That's great. That was a good one to end on Aaron. Thank you. Yeah, of course, of course. Happy to do it for you guys and zinger nation out there. Thank you for tuning in, uh, you know, I hear that we have. Listeners tuning in from all over the world.First of all, wanna thank all of you guys out there and singer nation, wherever you're joining from. Here we are again for another week of our laid back data backed conversation on all things cannabis. In this episode we are joined by the one and only Alan Brochstein of New Cannabis Ventures and 420investor. Our discussion leads us to Illinois and Michigan where we get into the some of the constrains and dysfunctions these 2 US states are facing in what should be booming legal markets. We talk about California being a tough but important market for MSOs and operators to make it in, and why a retail only approach might not be the best model in the Golden State. Finally get into Canadian cannabis companies, what's driving their stock prices, gambling on the NASDAQ, and cannabis companies who are thriving in suboptimal conditions. Keep this episode queued up wherever you are — we cover a lot of ground here!
