In another player interview I was joined by Ladies European Tour pro and the very talented Moa Folke who called in from back home in Tranås, Sweden before flying out to South Korea for Aramco Series Korea then the European swing in the summer. Tranås is also where Kajsa Arwefjäll was originally brought up.  A representative of Landeryds Golfklubb, Moa would go to Murray State University in Kentucky where she would be a 4x Ohio Valley Conference 1st team selection as part of Murray State Racers and was named Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Year for 2017 whilst also competing at NCAA Championships twice.  Moa would turn pro in 2018 and would win on Swedish Golf Tour in 2019 at Tegelberga Open defeating Linn Grant & Emma Svensson by a whopping 6 shots. At the end of 2021.   Moa would gain her LET Card at Final Q School for the 2022 season and at Dromoland Castle for KPMG Women's Irish Open Moa would be the 36 hole leader after shooting at -10 62 on Friday. In 2023 in the Sunshine Ladies Tour Folke would win Dimension Data Ladies Pro-Am at -8 by 3 shots to Annelise Caudal, that would set up for a good run on LET with 2 runner ups at Joburg Ladies Open and Lacoste Ladies Open de France as well as T9th at KPMG Women's Irish Open. In 2024 by Moa"s own admission was worse as she admitted trying to force things after a good 2023 ultimately leading to finishing 38th on LET Order of Merit. In 2025 it's been a solid start for Moa as she would post a respectable T14th at PIF Saudi Ladies Intl in a high quality field, was in contention at Australian Women's Classic before unfortunately a final round 77 propelled her to T27th then T5th at Ford NSW Open in Woollongong. She currently sits in 21st on LET Order of Merit standings and with a big European run coming up hopefully we will see Moa challenging more often. Great player even better person. Lovely and down to earth.    Download via Podbean, Apple & Spotify and be sure to like and subscribe. Thanks

Ryan received his undergraduate degree from Murray State University and two master's degrees from The University of the Cumberlands. “Thousands of research studies have proven that positive, nurturing, supportive relationships are the lifeblood of a successful, happy life. Connecting children with role-models who can provide these critical elements has the ability to literally change the direction of a kids' life,” says Ryan. “In a world where hope is often lacking among our most vulnerable youth, one positive role model can provide the essential support needed to persevere through life. "Customers don't care about organizational structure, they just want a great experience." Matt Purdy joins for a conversation on the importance of fostering a sense of belonging and unity among all employees and partners. He shares his experience integrating outsourced operational areas with the internal culture and values as Director of Career Services at Murray State University. Many of the university's operational areas, including dining services and grounds crews, were outsourced to third parties, resulting in distinct reporting structures. Despite this, Matt was astute enough to recognize that these employees contributed significantly to the university's public image. For Matt, the distinction between who was technically a university employee and who was not, held little importance to the customers. Instead, he believed in the collective responsibility of all workers to create a wholesome customer experience. This posed an interesting question for him: how could he foster a sense of belonging and unity among all employees, yet respect their distinctive operational structures. Listen to this episode as we break down the walls that divide and unite employees and partners. When there is a shared goal of delivering exceptional experiences then you will have a much easier time integrating diverse stakeholders. This conversation sheds even more light on the value of incorporating all stakeholders into the organizational culture and creating a shared purpose. Todays episode is my conversation with tennis coach and YouTube superstar Nik Aracic/ AKA the Intuitive Tennis guy! Nik started teaching tennis when he was 13 years old at his father's club in Germany and he has now 30 years of coaching experience! He was a teaching pro at the Clocktower Racquet Club in Rockford, Illinois, a head pro at the Mauna Lani 5 star resort in Hawaii and the Director of Tennis at the Royal Kona Tennis Club in Hawaii. He also played and coached at Murray State University. He developed a teaching methodology called Intuitive Tennis that he teaches online via video analysis, zoom lessons, and his super popular Youtube channel which has more than 46 milliion views and over 240K subscribers! He is truly a down to earth guy who loves tennis and I'm so grateful to him for being real in our conversation! He shared the good and the bad that comes with an online presence, how he developed his teaching methodology, of course his story and many other things so you will just have to listen!  I find what he does fascinating because it is so different from being at a club 24-7.  Learn from one of the bests out there, only here at Vida Tennis! I interviewed the owner of Found Studio Shop Kacey Stafford. Found Studio Shop was named Baltimore's Best Shop Owner" - Baltimore Magazine & Voted "Best Gift Shop" - Reader's Poll 2022! Kacey and I talked about her journey as an entrepreneur. She learned at a young age by watching other family members that had there own business. We talked about some exciting news for her company in this episode. Found Studio Shop is carefully curated gifts made (mostly) by locally/regionally small maker owned businesses who create small batch goods. You can feel good knowing that when you shop at Found Studio | Shop you are supporting not only one small business but several. The owner, Kacey Stafford, has been creating artwork since her teenage years. In 2000 she graduated with a BS in Art Education from Murray State University in Kentucky and taught art in public school for several years. In 2009 she started Found Studio, LLC and has been creating mixed media originals and prints ever since. Located in the Heart of NE Baltimore Our shop is connected to Red Canoe Cafe in Lauraville. You may enter from the cafe and there is a separate entrance to the shop from the main street. In Lauraville you will find delicious food from Red Canoe, Maggie's Farm, Koco's Pub & Cloudy Donuts.
