Catherine Divine is back on The Unbeatable Mind this week to delve into the concept of mastering the ‘physical mountain'--a term that refers to one's journey towards physical health and fitness.    Mark and Catherine delve into the idea that in order to unlock one's full potential, it's important to train not only the body, but also the mind and spirit. Got a busy schedule and don't know how or where to incorporate fitness? Mark and Catherine share practical advice for how to do so. The power of small, consistent efforts—-what Mark calls “spot drills”----can't be understated and can seem like a godsend for those leading hectic lives. Beyond the benefits of physical activity, the interconnectedness of physical, emotional, and mental well-being is explored!   Key Takeaways: Time Management: Reframe physical activity as a cumulative activity and learn how to utilise ‘spot drills' throughout the day.  Integration of Different Aspects of Experience: Realize the importance of connecting fully to life through bodily awareness and the interconnectedness of both physical and mental experiences.  Body and Mind as a Unified Construct: Listen to different philosophical perspectives on what the mind is and learn to create a mindful connection between physical and emotional states.  Training Balance and Recovery: Recognize the importance of recovery in forming a balanced training routine and discover how to integrate physical challenges with mental and emotional ones.    Itunes Bio: Catherine Divine is a leadership coach, author, and yoga instructor with over 20 years of experience helping leaders unlock their full potential. Because you have to be testing out your ideas and also getting feedback, which is this is not a good idea or this is a good idea in order to really see what's going to resonate with your audience. — Alisa Cohn [00:11:19 - 00:11:40]Necessity of Self-Belief and Grit for Leaders: “You have to have self-belief, and that may sound simple, but a lot of people are suffering with imposter syndrome or insecurity or lack of confidence, and then they don't even try. So one thing about high performers, and certainly founders, is they are triers. They will try and combined with that, they have the grit to overcome obstacles because there are many, many, many obstacles on the way to success. So you have to kind of realize and not be daunted and afraid and upset by failure, setback, obstacles along the way. So I think that mindset is super important. There's no substitute for elbow grease. You must have, you must be able to work hard and have stamina to work hard. And you've got to create a community around you.” — Alisa Cohn [00:19:49 - 00:20:30]Challenges of Leadership and Feedback: "You think, you know, you have this idea, you pretty sure you know what you're doing, and you have strong personalities, and in the best way, you've got conviction. So it's hard to listen to other people sort of tell you that there might be something else you're not seeing." — Alisa Cohn [00:24:33 → 00:25:17]Marrying Intention with Impact: "Because you're the expert on your intention, but everybody around you is the expert on your impact, and so it's really important to be able to marry that intention with that impact." — Alisa Cohn [00:25:32 → 00:25:44]Building Skills and Community in the Social Media Age: "So step one, get great at your craft. So you need to have reps, you need to have clients, whether it's for free, whether it's only not a lot of payment, like not a high fee, you don't have to, like, the first step is to get clients one way or the other in order to get reps and to get practice at your craft, to get better at your craft, find a mentor, find your own coach to really help you have that confidence of being great. And then I certainly think in the age of social media, you've got to find a way to get, to get attention by sharing your ideas. So you could build your own community, you could join another community, you could post on social media." — Alisa Cohn [00:27:09 → 00:27:45]Show notes powered by Castmagic---Have any questions about the show or topics you'd like us to explore further?Shoot us a DM; we'd love to hear from you.Want the weekly TL;DR of tips delivered to your mailbox?Check out our newsletter here.Follow us for content, clips, giveaways, & updates!Castmagic InstagramCastmagic TwitterCastmagic LinkedIn  ---Blaine Bolus - Co-Founder of CastmagicRamon Berrios - Co-Founder of CastmagicAlisa Cohn - CEO of Alisa Cohn & Associates, Inc.

It's about striking a balance where both parties feel the arrangement is more than worthwhile.Understanding Client Value: Gallagher urges coaches to consider the tangible results clients achieve through their coaching sessions. The focus should be on the comprehensive benefits clients receive, extending beyond surface results to the impact on all areas of their lives. The Cost of Not Coaching: Delving into what clients might miss by not choosing your services provides a compelling argument for the value of coaching. Gallagher emphasizes the importance of making clients contemplate where they could be in a year without your guidance, thereby highlighting your service's intrinsic value.Price Elasticity and Personal Worth: The conversation covers the concept of price elasticity in coaching, encouraging coaches to define their minimum acceptable rates. Gallagher shares practical advice on assessing your time's worth and considering the broader implications of your pricing strategy.Articulating Your Value: Becca Tracey, founder of The Uncaged Life, adds her perspective on setting coaching rates that transcend time-for-money equations. She introduces a method that focuses on the overall package and results offered, rather than just the hours spent.Aligning Pricing with Vision: Gallagher advises coaches to ensure their pricing aligns with their brand and long-term goals. This alignment helps in establishing a pricing structure that genuinely reflects the coach's value and aspirations. The “Gut Feeling” Pricing Method: Becca Tracey introduces an intuitive approach to pricing, encouraging coaches to trust their instincts and find a rate that feels both fair and exciting. This method prioritizes the coach's confidence and ability to deliver exceptional value.Building Confidence in Pricing: Gallagher touches on the continuous journey of self-belief and the importance of having a support network. She underscores the need for personal development and self-assessment to sustain and grow in the coaching industry. If you're a coach wrestling with how to price your services, you're not alone! Coaches can't make money, is what I am told over and over. In episode 227 of Small Business Talk for Coaches with Cathy Smith, we explore a common quandary among coaches: 'Why can't I make money?' The episode tackles this issue head-on, drawing inspiration from successful figures in the coaching world like Tony Robbins, Brendon Burchard, Rachel Hollis, and Brooke Castillo. These coaches have achieved remarkable financial success, proving that there is significant earning potential in the coaching profession. The episode underscores the importance of personal branding and diverse income sources. These successful coaches are known by their names, reflecting their powerful personal brands. They diversify their income through various channels such as books, courses, and corporate coaching. For those new to coaching, the episode stresses the need for patience and ongoing learning. Building a successful coaching career is often a long-term endeavour that requires dedication and the continual development of skills. The episode advises new coaches to avoid a scarcity mindset by having alternative income sources initially, to prevent the kind of desperation that can negatively impact sales. Another key point is the importance of connecting authentically with your audience. The episode suggests using platforms like podcasts and YouTube to forge genuine connections with clients who align with your coaching style. Clarity in messaging and focusing on a specific audience are also highlighted as crucial strategies. The episode wraps up with a recommendation to check out the Coaches Marketing Roadmap, a step-by-step guide to developing a thriving coaching business.
