As the city gets chilly and some much needed rain, the guys talk the cancellation of Tyler's much loved live action Cowboy Bebop series and how annoying the male gaze is in the anime. The guys look back on their experiences attending movie premieres, Tyler reviews some local eateries, and, with Winter finally here, Rudy gives a quick rundown on some of the best places to slurp some ramen. Tonight we had the whole gang back and start the show talking about how Bel was apparently replaced by a totally different person as he both healed a few dungeons and ran raid content in FFXIV as a mage class. From there we talk a bit about Blaugust which is starting the day this show releases. The rest of the show is sort of a rapid-fire remembering of games that had dropped off our radar over the years or that we just plain forgot about. We talk about MMORPGs gone by, games that had DLC releases, or just games that we started but never actually got back around to playing. We dive a bit into Genshin Impact and the most recent content release as well as apparently the ability to play your pc/mobile account on the PlayStation 5. Lastly we finish the show with a discussion of Ghostrunner, a movement puzzle platformer game featuring a deep cyberpunk aesthetic. Topics Discussed Bel Heals and Does Castery Things in FFXIV Blaugust 2021 is Here Great Games that dropped off our radar Games we forgot about Games we have returned to Games that got good when we weren't looking Genshin Impact Ghostrunner

We regroup on a lot of games this week. Deep Rock Galactic, a game we've covered multiple times on the podcast in Early Access, has now released in 1.0. Since the game dropped on Early Access it has come a long way and we talk about all the great improvements they've made to get to this point and make it into a solid game worth your time with your friends. Austin also revisits Final Fantasy 15, Brett is still playing Animal Crossing and we talk a bit more on Ghost Recon: Breakpoint. In our news, Call of Duty's next title may be Black Ops Cold War and Respawn Entertainment is branching off into a separate studio to focus exclusively on Apex Legends. In other news, Amazon Game Studio's first game releases and CD Projekt Red becomes the most valuable game company in Europe beating out Ubisoft. Our discussion this week revolves around the streaming platform Mixer. Since it's launch in 2016, it's been renamed and acquired by Microsoft. They've been partnering with big streamers to try and increase their growth but has it worked? We talk about their slow, but still upward growth and what they need to do to advance that growth further.Special thanks to Crazzie Pro Gear.

Zehn Jahre arbeitete Entwickler Square Enix an «Final Fantasy 15» - wow! Thanksgiving dinner and its accompanying hawk (We'll explain) are done with, so John and Chris settle back into the groove by discussing their early impressions of Final Fantasy XV, their overall impressions of its tie-in CG film Kingsglaive, and per Chris's recommendation, all their reasons why Dreamworks' popular Kung Fu Panda films have turned out surprisingly great. Spoilers abound for both Kingsglaive and all three Panda films, though in the former case, you're not missing all that much. We don't actually give traditional overviews for the series in this particular review either, instead focusing on what elements of the writing and animation make it so special to us. This week, everybody's off at Gamescom, so Max "Howlin' Mad" Scoville, Marty "Full Moon Fever" Sliva, and Alanah "Teen Wolf" Pearce talk about what they've been playing, like indie ballerina non-game Bound, and of course No Man's Sky. Meanwhile, Final Fantasy XV's been delayed, but thankfully the movie hasn't, and Marty says it's pretty good.

We had fun recording this, so hopefully you have fun listening!
In the first episode of Full Inventory I talk about what will be happening in this podcast and then jump right into talking about the recent Final Fantasy XV announcement and all the things that came along with it.
It's crazy to think Final Fantasy IX released over 15 years ago! To celebrate this milestone, Darryl and Lauren are joined by self-confessed Final Fantasy IX fanboy Jared, as the trio share first memories of Final Fantasy IX, discuss their favourite characters and some of their favourite moments from the game. There's even a bit of time left at the end to discuss Uematsu-san's monumental original soundtrack!
There's no two ways around it, E3 2015 was awesome for Final Fantasy fans. Not only did we get a new game announced (World of Final Fantasy), Square Enix also announced the holy grail... yes, we will be geting a full-on remake of Final Fantasy VII on the PS4. In this episode, we sift through the announcement and give our thoughts about key decisions that will need to be made. We also take some questions from the community, which sees us discussing which Final Fantasy character we would most want to punch... nice!
There have been some Final Fantasy XV bombshells since the last episode, as Hajime Tabata took to the stage in the latest Active Time Report to share some details about the game's development. There was a primary focus around the story and we now know that Stella Nox Fleuret has been cut from the game and replaced by Lunafreya. Nojima's role has also changed and some of the initial scenes shown off when the game was Final Fantasy Versus XIII have also been cut. It means there is plenty to talk about and that's without even getting into the other news (Episode Duscae 2.0) and the return of the quiz!
It's all going on with Final Fantasy at the moment and Square Enix in general! Not only has it been announced that there will be a Square Enix press conference at E3 2015, there was also a super special edition of the Active Time Report. In this episode we discuss both topics with some significant detail. To that end, there is detailed coverage about the feedback that has been collected from Episode Duscae and Hajime Tabata also alluded to the fact that we might be seeing Episode Duscae 2.0. We also have a bit of news from the wider Final Fantasy universe thrown in too for good measure, making it a pretty extensive episode!
We have an abundance of news for everyone this episode, all from a wide range of games. There are pieces relating to Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, Final Fantasy Record Keeper, Final Fantasy XI, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn and of course, Dissidia: Final Fantasy. Be sure to listen through to get the latest info about Dissidia and its return to the video game scene. We also have a full-on feature relating to Heavensward, as suggested by Patreon backer Clay Killough. It details everything you need to know about the upcoming expansion - if you have held off playing Final Fantasy XIV, now is the perfect time to get right back into it, or dive in for the first time. As always, we hope you enjoy the episode!
This week we talk about the Final Fantasy 15 Demo.
Final Fantasy Type-0 HD has at least landed on Western shores (well, North America at least), so that becomes our featured discussing this episode. We are joined by Stealth, who talks about his memories of checking out the original PSP version, while Darryl and Lauren talk about their experiences with the PS4 version of the game. In addition, Darryl had the chance to check out the Final Fantasy XV demo last week, so he runs through some of the elements, with a primary focus on combat and weaponry. We also have some news about Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward and Final Fantasy Record Keeper and we have the triumphant return of the Ultimate Final Fantasy Quiz! Yes, it's back with a renewed format ready for another year of trivia. Featured music this episode is from Final Fantasy XV, we had to really.
We are joined by Mark Robins for Episode 101 of Final Fantasy Union as we talk about the music of Final Fantasy and video game music as a whole. Mark has been campaigning to get video game music more recognition for a few years now and it all started with Aerith's Theme, a track that allowed the community to rally together towards a common goal. Since then, numerous video game franchises have been featured in the Classic FM Hall of Fame, which is the largest commercial radio station in the UK and it's lead to a lot more air time for video game music. We also have a featured discussion about the potential for a Final Fantasy XII HD Remaster, with opinions from the community and also the hosts. Oh, and there's a little bit of news about the impending release of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD and Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae, which was featured during some of the trailers for Type-0 HD.
It's time for the first episode of Final Fantasy Union in 2015 and what an episode to start off with! Yes, this episode is our 100th and we have brought back some familiar faces from the podcast's history to help celebrate the occasion. It means that Darryl and Lauren are joined by the original host, Kyle Wynen, as well as Lauren McFadden and Colin Tan! Join us as we do some hardcore reminiscing about our history with the podcast, play catch-up to find out what those three rascals have been up to and of course, get their opinions about the current state of Final Fantasy. It's an episode you don't want to miss. Oh, and there's even a little blooper at the end!
Thank you everyone for your support throughout 2014, here's a little Xmas message from all the hosts. We'll see you in 2015 for what should be a fantastic year!
Another week brings another episode of Final Fantasy Union! Darryl and Lauren are back once again to discuss all things Final Fantasy. The duo have been on some great FF adventures recently and they can’t wait to regale you with their tales. First up was their experience at the Final Fantasy 14 Fan Festival in London. Hear how wonderful and detailed the festival was and what Darryl and Lauren were able to do while they were there. They then talk about their back-to-back Final Fantasy concerts they were able to attend: The big Distant Worlds orchestral concert and the more intimate A New World concert. Next up is the news from the past couple of weeks. The couple talks about the new Final Fantasy 15 footage, enemies, and how both the English and Japanese dubs may be available in the western release. Also, SE announced that they have set an internal release date for the game. Next is the news for Type-0 which came in the form of a new trailer as well as Tabata expressing an interest in making more Type games. We’ll see what happens. Darryl and Lauren then connect with special guest Brian who is the final FFU Quiz contestant. Is he able to take the lead? There’s only one way to find out. Rounding out the show is the customary remix and this show brings you a wonderful re-arrangement of a Type-0 track that’s a ton of fun. Bundle up, keep warm, and we’ll see you guys again in a few weeks!
