Peak Level Tenacity with Michael Levine Michael Levine is an American writer and public relations expert. He is the author of books on public relations including Guerrilla P.R. He has represented 58 Academy Award winners, 34 Grammy Award winners, and 43 New York Times best-sellers, including Michael Jackson, Barbra Streisand, and George Carlin among many others. Levine also appeared in POM Wonderful Presents: The Greatest Movie Ever Sold, the 2011 documentary by Morgan Spurlock. --------------- BUSINESSMAN: As the founder of one of the country's most prominent entertainment P.R. firms, LCO-Levine Communications Office, Inc. www.LCOonline.com , Michael Levine has been called by U.S.A Today, “One of Hollywood's brightest and most respected executives.” Levine founded LCO in 1983 and held the position of President for 29 years. He continues to serve with the title of Founder and has recently reassume the role of President. MEDIA EXPERT: Regarded by the national media as one of the country's most prominent media expert, Levine has appeared on virtually every major national TV and radio show as a contributing media expert. Frequent appearances on TV include The Today Show, Nightline, Good Morning America, CNN, Fox News, ABC News, MSNBC, PBS, etc. Additionally, Levine appears regularly on radio both nationally and locally. His quotes frequent many major print media ranging from Time Magazine to The Los Angeles Times from Newsweek to The New York Times from U.S.A Today to People Magazine, etc. PUBLISHER: Levine is the creator of the LBN E-Lert (Levine Breaking News), one of the world's premier online newsletters, feeding the latest insider breaking news to approximately 474,000 “influencers” in all 50 of the United States and 25 foreign countries including China, India, Japan, Australia, Russia, England, Israel, Germany, South Africa, Mexico, Canada and Korea. AUTHOR: Michael Levine is the author of 19 books, with his most recent titled, “Broken Windows, Broken Business” (Warner Books) www.BrokenWindows.com. His previous book “Guerrilla P.R.” (Harper Collins) is the most widely used introduction to P.R. book in the world, and his books have been translated into six languages. WRITER: In addition to book writing, Levine has written numerous articles for many prestigious magazines and newspapers including Psychology Today, The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, The Wall Street Journal, U.S.A Today,Reader's Digest among many others. Specialties: SPEAKER: Top universities (Harvard, Oxford, UCLA, etc.) and major national (Nordstrom's) and international corporations have frequently invited Levine to speak on his unique experiences working at the highest level of Hollywood for over two decades. In addition, Levine has spoken at numerous unique locations including Men's and Women's security prisons and homeless shelters. ----------------- Now revised and updated, this "inspired, impactful, and important" book shows how to achieve the ultimate success by rectifying the small problems that can sink a business (Stephen R, Covey, author of The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People). Once every few years a book comes along with an insight so penetrating, so powerful—and so simply, demonstrably true—that it instantly changes the way we think and do business. Such a book is Broken Windows, Broken Business, a breakthrough in management theory that can alter the destiny of countless companies striving to stay ahead of their competition. In this vital work, author Michael Levine offers compelling evidence that problems in business, large and small, typically stem from inattention to tiny details. Social psychologists and criminologists agree that if a window in a building is broken and left unrepaired, soon thereafter the rest of the windows will be broken—and the perception will build that crime in that neighborhood is out of control. The same principle applies to business. Drawing on real-world corporate examples, from JetBlue's decision to give fliers what they really want—leather seats, personal televisions, online ticketing - to Google's customer-based strategy for breaking out of the pack of Internet search engines, to business-to-business firms' successes and failures, Levine proves again and again how constant vigilance and an obsession with detail can make or break a business or a brand. With tips and advice on changing any business to one that dots its i's, crosses its t's, and attracts more clients, Broken Windows, Broken Business goes straight to the heart of what makes all enterprises successful—the little things that mean a lot.

In the 24th edition of Victory Through Guts, Dylan Murray and Alex Richards cover two AJW shows from April and May of 1992. The first is the ever-important Wrestlemarinepiad 1992 event, a show heralded as the Best Major Wrestling Show of the Year by Dave Meltzer and the WON faithful along with a 5-Star Match between Manami Toyota and Kyoko Inoue. While the VTG Boys are of the belief that the show didn't quite live up to those standards, the show did feature things to fawn over, namely the penultimate match in the Bull Nakano vs. Aja Kong series of matches. The following month, AJW ran Korakuen Hall and presented an arguably better card, with Manami Toyota and Kyoko Inoue battling in tag team action and delivering incredible performances. And, in the main event, the re-debut of MITA and AKIRA takes place as LCO finally arrives in AJW after a Spring excursion to Mexico. The Rudo tandem proves to be a problem for Jungle Jack (Aja Kong & Bison Kimura), with who they battle to declare the new #1 Contender for the 3WA Tag Team Championships. We're heading east on this month's episode to interview three advocates, each representing a local climbing organization in Pennsylvania: Kate Fetterolf with Eastern Pennsylvania Alliance of Climbers, Ryan Shipp with South Central Pennsylvania Climbers, and Joel Brady with Southwestern Pennsylvania Climbers Coalition. Kate, Ryan, and Joel shared their perspective on what's happening in their respective region of the state and also weren't shy boasting about how great the climbing is in Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania is rich with a wide variety of climbing opportunities. Perhaps it's mostly known for its world-class bouldering but opportunities abound to sport and trad climb as well. Each organization does a great job addressing needs and any issues in their area and have been incredibly supportive of each other. Whether it's working through forming a new LCO, access, or closures, they can depend on each other to be a supporting network. "That person doesn't speak for the company!" ___ In 2012, Landlord Co and Tenant Co entered into a 5 year lease with a renewal option. Following a flood, a dispute arose about whether a new lease had been struck. In 2016 TCo's CEO told its solicitors to accept LCo's offer of a new lease. The first instance judge found the CEO didn't have authority to do that. So: no new lease. LCo appealed. LCo accepted that the CEO didn't have actual authority: [62] LCo said the CEO had implied actual authority, as (i) TCo agreed to a new lease, and (ii) TCo gave the CEO authority to communicate that: [68] LCo said TCo had agreed to the new lease as it (i) had done some building works, (ii) published material on its website, (iii) paid a lower rate of rent consistent with the 2016 emails, and (iv) made an "admission" recorded in board minutes: [71] Each of those was rejected, TCo never having agreed to a new lease. As such, it never gave authority to the CEO to communicate that: [87], [88] In relation to the estoppel-flavoured question of ostensible authority, the Court found that the CEO (despite a 2012 goof signing the 1st lease as a director when she was not) was not held out as a director and so did not have ostensible authority: [109] LCo's appeal failed. Costs followed.

Chris Reed and Neometals monetized a $3M investment in Mt Marion into $200M cash over a 10-year period since bringing Mineral Resources in as Build Own Operater with 30% project interest in 2010. No Stranger, Chris Reed, descendant of mining royalty & man of deep global lithium expertise at the epicenter of the last decades boom busts, shares the great history in partnering to create the worlds second most important hard rock lithium resource - a secure, sustainable supplier to green European sensitivities at VW & BMW, for example, via China Girl Ganfeng - while maintaining strong economics for both miner and processor of this pioneering 50:50 JV. Mineral Resources now has strong JVs in Western Australia with the two most important lithium producers globally - Albemarle and Ganfeng. How might this dynamic evolve over time? Neometals has done well by its shareholders - returning cash via dividends and buybacks, as it has monetized Mt. Marion, while at the same time, maintaining a 20-person staff "project generating" new ventures. With NMT trading at about its cash balance of AUD 108M, Mr. Market seems to assign no value to this team of proven value creators. That could change in 2020/21 as Neometals advances its exceptionally high IRR - 72% - low Capex - USD 66M - recycling project in partnership with Germany industrial giant SMS. With Auto OEMs in particular government mandated to re-cycle their exponentially growing universe of EV batteries, this emerging industry is destined to be a hot development area over the next decade. Neometals is one of the few public plays in the re-cycling space. Chris discusses Neometals revenue potential from recycling services, licensing and sale of recovered cobalt, nickel, lithium, copper, iron, aluminium, manganese into saleable products using its proprietary, sustainable process recovering materials from consumer electronic batteries (lithium cobalt oxide (LCO) cathodes), and nickel‐rich electric vehicle and stationary storage battery chemistries (lithium‐nickel-manganese‐cobalt (NMC) cathodes). Chris also shares some thoughts on the new Lithium Paradigm with volume purchaser Auto OEMs treating lithium as they do all their other "suppliers". www.patreon.com/lithiumionrocks libull.com Not Investment Advice. Joe and Emily are joined in Los Angeles by the newly minted “geek squad,” the label intended as the ultimate compliment to four technical experts. All are veterans of the podcast. We are guided through the lithium value chain from the ground to lithium chemicals to cathode and ultimately the battery. Dr. Tom Benson of Lithium Americas shares how lithium is formed inside the earth, and how the fact that lithium “Can't Be Tamed” is what makes it so practical for batteries. Dr. Yuan Gao of Pulead and now a Lithium Americas Board Member takes us through extracting lithium from raw materials and making cathodes. Dr. Gao, or the “Lithium OG”, explains the concept of excess lithium and why it matters even more in a high nickel world. Dr. Dr. Rene LeBlanc of Lithium Americas explains how the process to separate lithium can be the reverse of how it's formed, and shares how the physical separation process for the sedimentary material at Thacker Pass is like the process for extracting gold.. Dan Blondal of Nano One explains the different purposes served by cobalt, as a stabilizer of layered nickel structure or active material in LCO batteries. We give a shout out to the Real Clear Politics discussion of Minerals: The Overlooked Foundations of our Future, where Emily was a panelist and felt like she knew the cool kids when Alexi Zawadski and Thacker Pass were name dropped by Carl Cannon, Executive Editor & Washington Bureau Chief of RealClearPolitics, as a carbon-neutral project. Our guests close with what they experience as most misunderstood lithium myths, and as always we end with rapid fire questions.

With a little consistency and effort though, you can not only beat the algorithm, but WIN at Instagram altogether! Tune in to learn more about how Instagram has aided in building LCo into the brand it is today, and how to use similar tactics to find success for yourself! Kristen is a seasoned IG user both for personal and professional reasons. She dedicates this episode entirely to what works for her, so that you can gain some knowledge and inspiration to find what works for you. Something that sticks out right off the bat is when she says, “Everyone can do it their own way. There is plenty of success to be had by all. Trust me, there are plenty followers out there.” According to Tailwind, Instagram hit 1 billion monthly active users as of June 2018. 1. BILLION. Of that, 121 million are in the United States and 32.6% of those users are between the ages of 25 and 34. These statistics are not only mind boggling, but they also illustrate the sheer volume of people you are working with on the platform. For Kristen, her success on social media has a lot to do with timing. Her social journey began when Myspace (remember that one?!) was at its peak around age 19. She began working it into her daily life by default because it was easy - everyone was doing it! From there it evolved to Facebook and eventually now, Instagram!
