Send us a Text Message.Today we welcome Dimitris Kostopoulos to Inside the Taubman Approach. I love this interview so much. Here's why: Dimitris came across the Taubman Technique tapes during a questioning period in his professional career. He studied these 10 DVD's for years. He understood the concepts and the language used to the point where he began to apply them to his playing. But - it was not until he met Edna Golandsky that he realized he that he needed to study this incredible work with an expert one on one. Dimitris in his story shows how studying the Taubman Approach online with an expert really is effective. https://kostopoulos.no/Dimitris Kostopoulos was born in 1984, and grew up in Bodø, Norway. He is among the leading Norwegian pianists of his generation, and holds a Master's degree in piano from the Barratt Due Institute of Music and the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo. His main teacher was the recognized Czech professor Jiri Hlinka. In addition to this, he has participated in masterclasses with the Norwegian professor Einar Steen-Nøkleberg, the Dutch professor Marcel Baudet and the Swedish professor Hans Pålsson. He as also studied the work of Dorothy Taubman and Edna Golandsky through the Taubman Techniques.Dimitris Kostopoulos has established himself as a professional concert pianist with performances at several of Norway's most famous music festivals and concert halls. His performances as pianist includes the Bergen International Music Festival, ULTIMA Contemporary Music Festival, Oslo Grieg Festival, The Hemsing Festival, Nordland Music Festival, the Music Festival of Northern Norway, the Northern Light Festival and the Opera in Oslo, Oslo Concert Hall and many other venues. In addition to this, he has performed regularly abroad giving concerts in Sweden, Vietnam, Portugal, Lithuania, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, South Africa, Italy and Russia. As a soloist, Kostopoulos has performed with many orchestras, including the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra, Lithuaninan State Symphony Orchestra, Oslo Camerata, Tromsø Symphony Orchestra, Barratt Due Symphony Orchestra, Banda Sinfonica da PSP, Bodø Sinfonietta, the MiNensemble, Narvik City Symphony Orchestra, Bodø City Symphony Orchestra and LVO. Kostopoulos has worked with conductors such as Bjarte Engeseth, Arvid Engegård, Stephan Barratt-Due, Pierre-André Valade, Jonathan Stockhammer, Torodd Wigum, Alf Richard Kraggerud, Terje Boye Hansen, Jan Ludvig Jacobsen and Nicolas Carthy.Another important part of Kostopoulos' career is his devotion to chamber music. His mother was a professional soprano, and already from the age of 13 he started to accompany her and perform concerts with her. Since then chamber music has been a natural part of his work as a pianist, resulting in collaborations with many of Norway's leading musicians such as Catharina Chen, Guro Kleven Hagen, Audun Sandvik, Bjarne Magnus Jensen, Ragnhild Hemsing, Eldbjørg Hemsing, Cathrine Bullock, Ingebjørg Kosmo, Angelica Voje, Christian Mortensen and others.Internationally recognized and rewardedSince 2011 he has held the position as pianist in the MiNensemble. This is a chamber music ensemble based in northern Norway, touring throughout Norway as well as internationally. The Golandsky Institute's mission is to provide cutting-edge instruction to pianists based on the groundbreaking work of Dorothy Taubman. This knowledge can help them overcome technical and musical challenges, cure and prevent playing-related injuries, and lead them to achieve their highest level of artistic excellence. Please visit our website at: www.golandskyinstitute.org.

The thing is the old me, maybe 5 years ago thought he was actually happy. I probably was, only because I didn't know what else was possible. I was ben the electrician and that's what I was going to be for the rest for my life. Hard working, fix everyone wiring – Call me up at the drop of a hat and I would be there to fix all your electrical needs. When I foist started working for myself as an electrician it was exciting. Being my own boss Having days off when I liked Being able to charge customers what I knew I was worth. The only this is I had to keep the pressure on. I did, I was very busy all the time. Working 12 hour days most weeks and earning a good amount of money. On my grave stone it would have said – Here lies Ben the greatest electrician of all time! Until I took a 10 day holiday. It was over in Australia. When I was awake, everyone in the UK was asleep – so I couldn't take any calls for the business. Of course when I was over in Australia, I wasn't earning any money too. But the freedom I had and the hassle free 10 days away from being Ben the electrician was enough for me to say – I want more of this. I made a plan, I wanted to change from being Ben the electrician. I wanted a different life, one where I could break the chains of working a 9 to 5 job. I looked into a lot of different opportunities online. I did give a lot of them a good go too. It wasn't until I took part in a challenge that the idea of podcasting was put into my head. I still say to this day Russel Brunson from click funnels is the one to blame for this. So thank you Russell. After diving into the online space and uncovering the protentional of opportunities out there online, I believe the options are endless. Crypto NFTS Affiliate marketing You Tube Podcasting Blogging Just to name some of them. I only named these because, these are the ones I have got myself into over time. All these opportunities I have made money from. Where I was once an electrician who had one stream of income – I now have 6 streams of income to support me. There are some days where I don't talk to anyone at all, sad but true – and I like it. The best thing is with all these opportunities they are able to still make me money even when I do take a holiday. Some are more passive then others. With each one I am growing it as time goes on. The crypto value continues to go up The NFTs are an investment for the future Affiliate marketing continues to grow I continue to create YouTube videos for that channel to grow The podcast content continue to grow Then the blogging – is the podcast written down. Its been around 3 years since I was a fulltime electrician now. I can safely say, people now call me Ben. I believe that anyone can do this too. Not only break the chains to their 9 to 5, but have multiple streams of income developed overtime. You wont be a millionaire tomorrow, but one day I can see this happening. How many millionaire electricians to you know?? Think about that one…….. Until next time

I am always giving my clients tips on how to work online. Here are the key complaints I hear from clients and friends: It's hard to connect with people It's hard to keep productive It's lonely, and There's a tendency to work too much But, working online is now the main aspect of white-collar working life. Many office workers who, pre-pandemic, had to commute to work now can work remotely. Even if they go back to the office, you may find it empty, and most of the work you do is still in front of the computer anyway. So for transitional office-based companies, virtual companies, working for yourself, or job hunting, I hope you will find these tips helpful. Timestamps: 7:43 - Be ruthless with emails 12:13 - GIFs and Emojis are fine 14:31 - Videos and voice messages are your friend 16:18 - Look good on video 20:24 - Create fun traditions and opportunities working online 21:37 - Have at least two monitors 22:33 - Find time during the week to have real coffee with a colleague or a walking meeting. Building a business is more of a lifelong marathon than an all-out sprint. Though, there are times in our business when we sprint to create massive growth, go for a big goal, or level up. There are times when life is in a busier season and our business is more of a walk- maintaining the growth that we already have and being a friend to others. There are times, which most business owners are typically in, we are jogging- slow and steady growth, cultivating new relationships, educating and caring for customers, hosting events, helping our team grow, and prospecting for new customers and team members. The most beautiful thing is that YOU as the business owner get to decide what your pace is. Not your mentor, not your company. YOU. Where are you?1. 90 Day Run SPRINT2. Be a Friend WALK3. I will also be sharing my top tips for preparing and getting the most out of your experience as a digital nomad. In this episode, you'll discover... What a digital nomad is. Living out of your comfort zone. Why I chose this lifestyle. How to prepare yourself. Implementing a structure to stay on top of your work. Thank you so much for listening. Today's guest on the Expat Money Show is Marisa Meddin, co-founder of https://www.beachcommute.com/expat (‘Beach Commute'). She is a career coach and has been a digital nomad for over 5 years, visiting more than 60 countries. At Beach Commute they help other Digital Nomads figure out what remote job opportunities exist, which they're best suited to do, where to find remote job opportunities, how to increase chances of a job offer, and how to tactfully negotiate remote terms. HERE'S WHAT WE DISCUSSED IN DETAIL IN THIS INTERVIEW: Why listening and working with a https://beachcommute.com/expat (professional career coach) that has been there, the same as you, can be the most powerful step you can take towards freedom and getting the job you have always dreamed of while travelling around the world. Exactly how to achieve your dreams of working & world travel….and how to crush your limiting belief patterns. Step-by-step instructions on how to ask your boss for a big fat raise to live as a digital nomad in any country you choose. A common myth about how to work from abroad. This is an important concept to always understand. One key concept you must understand about human behaviour that can lead you to amazing growth and becoming a confident individual. What happens when you figure out what remote job opportunities exist, which you're best suited to do, where to find remote job opportunities, how to increase chances of a job offer, and how to tactfully negotiate remote terms. What happens after the boss says yes, you can work remotely! And what if your boss says 'no', you can't work remotely and you have no idea what to do or say! And finally, listen in to Marisa & Mikkel talking about some of the countries they have visited and their true love of travel and why they are so passionate about their adventures. In this episode, I talk to a brand strategist (and my business partner) Veronika Palovska. This time, we don't talk business, but get into a topic that isn't talked about often enough: The different ways anxiety shows up in business and life. What you may see and misinterpret in yourself and others as laziness or lack of motivation can be a symptom of anxiety or another mental health issue—but the same is true for extreme productivity. We hope that this episode will make you feel less alone in case you tend to underperform when under pressure, or, in case you are on the other side of the spectrum, reflect on your obsession with work and see if it isn't rooted in anxiety.
My today's guest is a writer, consultant, and entrepreneur Alexandra Franzen. We share personal stories about the nuances of business failure (and how to survive it), jealousy (and how to turn it into motivation), rejection (and how to go after what you want anyway). If you need a motivation boost in your business and life, then this episode is for you.
Tune in to listen to my conversation with Darius Foroux, an author of 7 books, 6 online courses, and a blog that gets read by 500,000 people every month — all about the topics of productivity, wealth building, and finding meaning in your work.
