Jim first joined Fairfax FD in 1978 and then moved over to Nassau County Corrections in 1980. He was sworn into the FDNY in 1981, where he was assigned to Ladder 154 right out of Probie school. He went to Chauffeur school in 1986 and spent his entire career there!!! He wrestled in the World Police/Fire games in 2011 and went on to teach at proby school in 2013. He retired in 2016. It is going to be a great conversation since we both know Jim a long time. Lou worked in 117 the adjoining firehouse and also Kevin's brother Richie worked in that house for many years.
