Today on Uncommon Sense with Ginny Robinson, we're discussing current events, starting with the Department of Defense's rebrand to the “Department of War.” I don't like this one bit. We should not be glorifying war, especially when President Trump has always said he would be the president of peace and is even nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize. Why would we agitate our enemies for no reason and slap a shiny label on it as if that's something to celebrate? It's weird and concerning. We'll also be covering the latest on the Epstein list and what's being uncovered.--https://policecoffee.com/collections/coffee

Oliver Friesen, CEO of Guardian Metal Resources plc (LON:GMET, OTCQX:GMTLF), joins me for an exploration and development update at their 2 key projects focused on tungsten and critical minerals in Nevada, USA.  We also review that the US government, through the Department of Defense (DoD) has awarded the Company $6.2Million in funds under Title III of the Defense Production Act of 1950 ("DPA Title III") to support the rapid advancement and pre-feasibility study for the Pilot Mountain Tungsten Project.   We start off discussing how these incoming DoD funds through DPA Title III, in concert with the recent capital raise of approximately US$21.0 million, will be utilized at their 100% owned Pilot Mountain Tungsten Project.  This is a skarn-type deposit which hosts a Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) of 12.53Mt at 0.27% tungsten with significant copper, silver, zinc, and gallium credits.  This project is located on BLM Land, which is advantageous for expedited permitting and development work.   The next key milestone will be incorporating some of their recent engineering and geotechnical drilling work into a coming Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS) later this year.  Additionally, the exploration team will be drilling a satellite target and other regional targets, which could expand and compliment the known resources in a meaningful way.   Next we discuss the other dual-flagship Tempiute Tungsten Project, which is a past-producing skarn-type tungsten-zinc-copper-silver mine and processing center, with valuable existing infrastructure in place.   In addition to more drilling underway this year to produce and updated Resource Estimate by early 2026, the company has been sampling and drilling the historic tailings and at surface stockpiles with an eye towards getting those processed in a nearby toll-milling scenario to expedite domestic production of tungsten in the US.     If you have questions for Oliver regarding Guardian Metal Resources, then please email those into me at Shad@kereport.com.   Click here to follow the latest news from Guardian Metal Resources

In this episode of the *Big Ideas for Smaller Government* series, host David Fran sits down with Jeremiah Mosteller, policy director for Americans for Prosperity, to explore the vast and complex Department of Defense (DoD). With a staggering $2 trillion budget and nearly three million military and civilian personnel, the DoD is one of the largest federal agencies. Together, they discuss the department's history, structure, and some surprising examples of wasteful spending, including $5 million spent on ineffective camouflage and $1,300 coffee cups used on Air Force cargo planes. Jeremiah highlights how better coordination and cutting excessive contracting could lead to significant taxpayer savings—up to $260 billion over ten years—without compromising national security. This in-depth conversation sheds light on the challenges and opportunities within the DoD, illustrating why reforming defense spending is crucial for reducing the federal deficit and making government more efficient. Listeners gain valuable insights into how strategic changes, such as reducing contractor reliance and improving procurement, could help save billions while ensuring our military remains well-equipped. Tune in to understand how thoughtful cuts in defense can contribute to a smaller, smarter government.

Send us a textWelcome back everyone for the conclusion of my interview with former Ventura Chapter President of the Hells Angels, George Christie. But first a disclaimer. I do not and never have condoned criminal behavior. I was a cop for 25 years and my heart is with the men and women who enforce the law and bring criminals to justice. That being said, I wanted to bring you the listener/viewer a different kind of perspective. One from an unapologetic outlaw living out the last chapters of his life (who knows, maybe he will live to a 100). I think it's good to see both sides of the coin. I may not agree with everything he says or stands for, but we can sit down and have a civilized conversation, something that is desperately missing in today's society, I think.  So, my guest on today's show George Christie, has spent some time in prison and was the president of the Ventura Chapter of the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club from 1978 to 2011. In 2011 he walked away from the Hells Angels and resigned his membership. A short time later the club turned their backs on him and considered him in ‘bad standing' which is a kick in the gut for someone who dedicated his life to the outlaw club. It's kind of like it never happened. George's life is like something out of a movie. He has gone to war with rival bike gangs like the Outlaws and Mongols and has had at least two contracts out to kill him. He was in the hotseat on the news show 60 Minutes where he was grilled by Mike Wallace.  He spent a year in solitary confinement and also carried the Olympic torch for the 1984 games in Los Angeles and even had a blowup with the Kennedy's. One thing is for sure, George is not boring. Please enjoy the conclusion of my interview with George Christie. In today's episode we discuss:·      His 60 Minutes interview with Mike Wallace and Mike flirting with his wife.·      FBI informant Anthony Tate. ·      His time in jail / prison and the effects of being in solitary confinement for a year. ·      The difference between the Hells Angels now and when he was leading a charter? ·      The hit television show Sons of Anarchy. Send us a textI wanted to start the show today with a disclaimer. I do not and never have condoned criminal behavior. I was a cop for 25 years, and my heart is with the men and women who enforce the law and bring criminals to justice. That being said, I wanted to bring you, the listener/viewer, a different perspective. A short time later, the club turned their backs on him and considered him in ‘bad standing,' which is a kick in the gut for someone who dedicated his life to the outlaw club. It's kind of like it never happened. George's life is like something out of a movie. He has gone to war with rival bike gangs like the Outlaws and Mongols and has had at least two contracts out to kill him. He was in the hot seat on the news show 60 Minutes, where he was grilled by Mike Wallace.  He spent a year in solitary confinement and also carried the Olympic torch for the 1984 games in Los Angeles and had a blowup with the Kennedys. One thing is for sure: George is not boring! Please enjoy part one of my interview with George Christie. In today's episode we discuss:·      Lessons learned from coming from an immigrant family.·      Joining the Marines and later working for the Department of Defense. ·      Deciding to devote his life to the Hells Angels. ·      The process and initiation for becoming a Hells Angel.·      How George was elected club president in a short amount of time. ·      Being the spokesman for the Hells Angels.·      There is nothing more important to a member of the Hells Angels than the club. Everything else takes a back seat. How did he function like that? There is work, spirituality, marriage, kids, and friends. They all play second fiddle if you're an Angel.·      Carrying the Olympic torch. Feuding with the Kennedys/Shriver's and winning! All of this and more on today's episode of the Cops and Writers podcast.Ride over to George's website to learn more about him and his books!Check out the new Cops and Writers YouTube channel!Check out my newest book, The Good Collar (Michael Quinn Vigilante Justice Series Book 1)!!!!!Enjoy the Cops and Writers book series. Please visit the Cops and Writers website. What would you do if you lost the one you loved the most? Inevitably, open eyes always seem to turn upward. Our faith and our refusal to bow are weapons forged in darkness. The American air industry is now in chaos. Combine airlines, aviation, national security, and the heavy infiltration of Chinese risk. Maintenance scares and hub battles. Where are the reasonable fares? The US Govt buys tickets in bulk? Huh? Looks like money laundering. Eliminate brokers for a start. Operating on a debt based closed structure. Amy Klobuchar is up to her neck in all of this. Firmware is very hard to inspect. Counterfeit avionics is a real threat. When pilots can't override the AI. Let's build a national aircraft security program. All domestic flights need more scrutiny. Chip technology has risks too. China (Taiwan) produces 90% of high level chips. Yes to mandatory source audits. Flight ready seals and instant response protocols. Software components are hackable. Compromised chips are everywhere. All airlines are leased. Even the F35 has Chinese components. We need a Federal National Airline Program. Why not lease at cost and back it with the Defense Dept? Lower costs, safer skies. Restore jobs plus national security. We should no longer out source the wings we fly on. Not when our families are on board.
