In dieser Folge bespreche ich das Buch "Wir sind die Guten" von Dora Heldt. Es handelt von einem Ermittlerteam auf Sylt, das mit einem mysteriösen Fall konfrontiert wird. Karl Sonnigstenen, der Polizist von Westerland, und seine Truppe werden in die Suche nach Sabine Schäfer, einer verschwundenen Haushaltshilfe, verwickelt. Gleichzeitig ermittelt die Polizei von Sylt in einem Fall eines unbekannten Toten, der am Roten Cliff bei Kampen gefunden wurde. Es stellt sich heraus, dass beide Fälle miteinander zusammenhängen. Obwohl ich zunächst skeptisch war und das Buch aufgrund seiner Länge von 500 Seiten zögerte, habe ich mich letztendlich dafür entschieden. Die Geschichte hat mich schnell in ihren Bann gezogen und die Vielzahl an Charakteren war gut ausgearbeitet. Die Autorin hat es geschafft, die Handlungsstränge logisch miteinander zu verweben und Spannung aufzubauen. Es gibt lustige Situationen und das Buch eignet sich perfekt zum Lesen am Strand von Sylt. Ich mochte besonders, dass jede Figur wichtig für die Auflösung des Falls war. Ich hoffe, dass es eine Fortsetzung geben wird, da die Geschichte des Teams noch nicht zu Ende erzählt ist. Das Buch ist 2017 erschienen und kann noch immer zu einem Preis von 10,95 Euro erworben werden. Tschüss, Euer Markus

Schließlich den Eischnee langsam unter die Masse heben. 2 EL Butter und etwa 1/3 des Teigs in eine heiße Pfanne geben und dann bei mittlerer Hitze braten. The Suns Never Set on the Galactic Empire: Recursive References and In-Universe Instances of “The Imperial March”  Allowing a non-diegetic theme to slip into the realm of source music is nothing new: ever since Siegfried tooted his own horn(motif), composers of narrative multimedia have found ways for underscore to peek into the diegetic world. But while such moments of diegeticization provide yet another example of the eminently-permeable “fantastical gap,” their ramifications often run deeper than a blurring of narrational levels (Stilwell 2004, Heldt 2013). Because when fictional characters hear their own music, it can provoke a rehearing for the audience. Indeed, the recontextualized “source” of such underscore-as-source-music may turn out to reside as much in nonfictional reality as some fictional diegesis. This presentation explores the implications of rehearing an iconic theme—John Williams' “Imperial March”—through two in-universe instances: David Glen Russell's “Empire Day” from Rebels (2014), and John Powell's “Empire Recruitment” from Solo (2018). These cues both reimagine the minor-mode leitmotif as major-mode musical propaganda. Through close analysis, we demonstrate two contrasting approaches to diegeticization: parodic hyper-chromaticization of the theme's non-functional tonality in Rebels' ceremonial parade; and nostalgic diatonic hyper-correction for Solo's military-recruitment ad. By cannily channeling the nobilmente style of Elgar/Walton, these cues resurface a subtextual “source” of Williams's theme—Edwardian Pax-Britannica style nationalism—and with it the complex relation of imperial-versus-revolutionary politics in Star Wars generally (Buhler 2002, Lerner 2004). We conclude by situating the “Imperial March” at one further level of remove: out of the meticulously controlled diegetic canon of Disney-era Star Wars and into the real world of contemporary protest music.

Aber durch das 1:1 gegen Frankfurt hat sich der Effzeh zumindest ein Pünktchen Hoffnung erkämpft oder wie es Trainer Markus Gisdol wertet: "Der Anfang ist gemacht". Wirklich? Was ist der Punkt wert? Minute geträumt haben. Gleich mehrere Abwehr-Patzer haben die nächste Niederlage besiegelt. Der Effzeh hat den Saisonstart komplett vergeigt. Null Punkte nach zwei Spielen, da schrillen bei Alex und Guido die ersten Alarmglocken und auch den beiden FC-Experten geht diese 78. Minute nicht aus dem Kopf. Vor allem der Bock von Torwart Timo Horn, auf den wieder viel Kritik einprasselt. Berechtigt? Was macht das mit der Nummer 1 des Effzeh und welche Folgen könnte sein Spiel-entscheidender Fehler haben? Wie reagieren Gisdol und Heldt? Ein großes Thema in der neuen Folge. Geschafft! Durch das 1:1 gegen Frankfurt ist der Effzeh den letzten Schritt aus eigener Kraft über die Ziellinie gegangen. Der Klassenerhalt ist gesichert. Grund genug für die beiden FC-Reporter Alexander Haubrichs vom Express und Guido Ostrowski von Radio Köln zu gratulieren und Bilanz zu ziehen. Was waren die entscheidenden Faktoren? Fehlanzeige! Den haben leider nur die Konkurrenten, wie Augsburg und Mainz, an diesem 12. Spieltag gezeigt und sind dem Effzeh damit in der Tabelle erstmal weggezogen. Nur wenige Tage nach dem Neustart mit Gisdol und Heldt ist es schon wieder "5 vor 12" beim Effzeh.
