Our testers have been putting the iClever BTH20 Noise-Cancelling Headphones through their paces. They are brightly coloured, robust and aimed at the three years old and above age group. See more about their products here. iClever BTH20 Noise-Cancelling Headphones review For our younger testers they liked the look and feel of the headphones. Out of the box they worked well. You might wonder if the lead is long enough when you are using the jack option, depending on what it is that you are physically connecting the headphones too. For a tablet the length is probably fine, but if they are using a laptop to watch a movie you might have preferred them to be a bit further back. The noise cancelling is pretty good too. The price is also not expensive either, the plastic design also makes it robust and easier to clean too. If you need something functional, age appropriate and usable by your younger users, then this does the job pretty well. Their purported green credentials -> Eco-friendly green design: BTH20 uses safe materials that are free of BPA and harmless to children in the design and production process. iClever has also optimized the production process to minimize carbon emissions, and iClever has obtained carbon-neutral certification and Amazon's environmental-friendly label, indicating iClever efforts in reducing environmental impact during manufacturing process. The ultra-thin packaging design of BTH20 reduces the volume by one-third compared to the original size. Additionally, the package box surface does not have plastic film and the box material is FSC certified. The storage bag is made of environmentally-friendly water needle cloth, which is made from recycled fibers, non-toxic, and recyclable with no pollution to the environment. It has antibacterial, anti-mold, characteristics, making it an ideal eco-friendly material. In today's episode of Category Visionaries, we speak with Andy Mowat, CEO and Co-Founder of Gated, a communication platform that's raised over $3 Million in funding, about why articulating your personal and professional priorities is all but essential in an increasingly noisy digital world. Forming a first line of focus-oriented defense around your online presence, Gated helps people connect with like-minded individuals through the conversations they actually want to have, while keeping your screen and your attention free from cold emails and other communications that could waste your valuable time. We also speak about Andy's background working across a slew of SaaS startups, what it's like bringing an innovative idea to market, why companies getting more and more siloed ultimately harms their long-term functional efficiency, and how keeping people's inboxes more exclusive can actually help salespeople stand out in the markets that matter most to them. Topics Discussed: Andy's career background working on go-to-market strategies for a wide range of SaaS-oriented companies How Andy sees modern companies becoming increasingly siloed in terms of their operations, and why that's a problem in the long run The Gated value proposition, and why protecting your online presence from unnecessary noise is a strategic market opportunity Gated's relationship with salespeople and marketers, and why Andy believes they'll get over an early aversion to ultimately build better relationships How Gated is changing the way people think about email, and the legacy Andy wants to leave in the startup space Favorite book: Traction

“You need an innovation process so that once the individual has really vetted their idea and believes there's a market for it...you need to be able to transfer that to the organization at large, where they can execute on it.” “Innovation” is an exciting idea for many, but often a tad scary for project managers who are tasked with keeping project on time and under budget. But innovation doesn’t have to break all of your project plans if you have a well-structured innovation process and solid governance in your organization. In this episode of Time Limit, Brett sat down with John Carter, who invented Bose’s Noise Cancelling Headphones, helped design Apple’s New Product Process, and authored Innovate Products Faster. His take on how organizations, teams, and individuals can go from creative spark to an executable idea—without wrecking well-laid project plans—is not only insightful, but it’s comforting. There’s real proof here that making lofty ideas a reality doesn’t have to be confusing or even lengthy. Through the course of the interview, John and Brett discuss: Innovation planning How organizations should invest in innovation How to budget for innovation and even new ideas How governance impacts innovation Innovation process for organizations and project teams Can you make innovation happen on the side? How to set goals to be more innovation, in your career or within an organization See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Richard Hall and Kokoon Kokoon are the world’s first sleep sensing EEG (electroencephalogram) headphones - comfortable enough to sleep in, without compromising acoustic quality. Richard Hall and Tim Atnos launched Kokoon Technology in 2015 with the aim of combating the common challenge of getting a good night’s sleep by using a soporific mix of audio and brain-sensing technology. The idea for Kokoon headphones stemmed from a personal problem: founder Tim Antos had a stressful job which led to him having trouble sleeping. He tried conventional methods, and even sleeping tablets, but nothing worked, until he went to a cognitive behaviour programme at a sleep clinic where he discovered the power of using audio to sleep. Whilst this provided a solution it also raised another problem; it was uncomfortable to sleep wearing large headphones.Tim decided to combine the reserch from the sleep clinic with the technology of an accessible consumer device: Kokoon. Music can be used in daily life for relaxation, to gain energy when feeling drained and when dealing with emotional stress as well. Most of us know from experience that music can dissolve the stress of a long drive, keep us motivated to exercise, and take us right back to positive experiences in our past, which can be a happiness booster and a stress reliever. Next time you’re getting ready for sleep, consider how music might be a great addition to your evening routine Make Time for Family We all know that quality time with our family is paramount in building stronger relationships. Our time is one of the greatest things we can give to our family. In this fast paced modern day, it is easy to forget that simply just spending time with our love ones is really important. Family time means you can just have fun and enjoy each others company! You can never get back time, no matter what. Make the most of the time you can give to your family. Understand that nothing can be more important than your family because they are the people who will be with you always, through thick or thin. Treat Yourself Well Embracing the concept of self care can be difficult for those who’ve always placed emphasis on the welfare of others. However, giving all your energy to those around you without filling your own back up leaves you depleted and empty. For sure that’s no way to live. Treating yourself means you then have more energy to love those around you. You'll feel happier when you’ve invested some energy in YOU. In addition to pampering yourself, more substantial forms of self-care invloves having healthy lifestyle choices are important, too. Consuming a healthy diet, getting regular exercise, and being sure you get enough sleep are all important. Subscribe! If you enjoyed the podcast please subscribe and rate it. And of course, share with your friends! Special Guest: Richard Hall.

Silence is essential. We need silence just as much as we need air, just as much as plants need light. If our minds are crowded with words and thoughts, there is no space for us. We can't find who we are without access to our natural silence...through the stillness within we discover our power and who we are.

Some audiophiles dislike Bose with a passion, and noise cancelling in general. The hate is unwarranted. Here at WIRED, we love these headphones, and it's hard to top Bose QuietComfort series. Bose's noise cancelling technology has come a long way, making the QC series among best headphones for travel or to wear during a noisy commute.
