Listen up you turkey tenders! This ain't no bazooka of BS, it's the Minister of Bombardment! . . . YOU DON'T KNOW MOJACK is a podcast dedicated to exploring the entire SST catalogue, in order, from start to finish. During the podcast we will discuss all the releases that are part of our core DNA, as well as many lesser-known releases that deserve a second chance, or releases that we are discovering for the very first time (we actually don't know Mojack!). First and foremost we are fans, and acknowledge that we are not perfect and don't know everything – sometimes the discussion is more about a time, place, feeling, personal experience or random tangents, and less about the facts (but we will try to get to the facts too). In this episode, I talk about Rainer Werner Fassbinder's 1972 film, "The Bitter Tears of Petra von Kant." The film tells the story of Petra, a successful fashion designer in a complicated and obsessive relationship with a younger woman named Karin. Set almost entirely in Petra's apartment, the film unravels the entanglements of power, desire, and emotional dependency. This episode is one of my most personal. I reflect on the ways the film mirrors an experience I had with unrequited love—an experience that consumed me for over two years. I talk about the madness and chaos of desire, the pain of not being chosen, and the way obsession can distort how we see ourselves and others.Note: This episode was recorded before my mother's death. This week, The FratChat Podcast is bowing down to the queen of reinvention herself: Taylor Swift. From re-recording her entire catalog just to stick it to her old label, to suing a creepy DJ for a single dollar, to forcing Apple to change policy with one Tumblr post, Taylor's made a career out of flipping the script and coming out on top. We're breaking down her most legendary, most savage, and most bad ass moments. Because when it comes to power moves, Taylor's in a league of her own. But that's not all! In Emails from the Listeners, one guy writes in to ask if his girlfriend's Taylor Swift obsession is normal OR if he's about to come home to a cardboard Travis Kelce shrine. Another listener wants to know our thoughts on the wild world of underground bars and what really goes down there (we've got stories). Then, in the news, we talk about Fox News host Pete Hegseth's latest moment of “brilliance,” and wrap things up with a chilling Not the Drag Queens story out of Michigan. Where a self-proclaimed MAGA man is facing trial for one of the most gruesome crimes imaginable. Summer might be over, but the laughs (and chaos) are carrying right into spooky season. Tune in, grab a drink, and let's get into it. Because it's The FratChat Podcast, and we've got no chill. Got a question, comment or topic for us to cover? Let us know! We and our guest Official Series' Letterer Sabrina Heep discuss Shonen Jump manga The Comiq from the creator of Yu-Gi-Oh! MAL Description: Starring "an unlikely love for two," Pendulum of Love is the latest series to be serialized in the popular magazine Shoujo Jump. This serialization is also the debut of Ryota Sakamaki. Through his editor, the shy rookie manga artist receives some help in the form of complex background artwork from a mysterious person. Though the pair frequently work with one another, Ryota has never once met his assistant, leading to his curiosity about the person's identity. Upon further investigation, Ryota learns that his background illustrator is Katsuo Baba, a prisoner convicted of the infamous "Halloween Murder"—a crime committed within the local park three years ago that his own work seems to reference. While hesitant to work with a criminal at first, Ryota quickly picks up on Katsuo's desperation, and after meeting him face-to-face, Ryota becomes determined to set him free with the power of their manga!
