Your task manager is the home for everything you must do (obligations) and might want to do (options). As I mentioned in this article, I prefer Google Tasks. It is by far the simplest and most user-friendly (although Remember The Milk, Todoist, and Things are solid alternatives). On the computer, Google Tasks is accessed via your Gmail, but if you install this extension, you can access your tasks separately. You add a task by pressing the “+” sign and add to a list of your choice. When you are finished or do not want to do the task anymore, check it off. The task manager should be very close to you at all times. Here are some questions I asked Frank that you will benefit from when you listen to his interview: 1. For the person who uses a paper planner and is thinking about going digitally, where would you have them start? 2. We know how important it is to take notes during meetings (both group and 1-on-1) and phone calls, as well as virtually. How can I use digital organization to make those notes more valuable? Frank uses Evernote. You can also consider LiveScribe (https://us.livescribe.com/) and Onenote as good options for note taking tools and use as a resource source. 3. You talk about digital organization allowing tools to work together. Can you give us some examples? What about Slack, Basecamp, Wrike, Asana, Calendar appointment programs like Calendly? 4. You say your day involves doing only two things. That sounds hard to believe. What are those two things? 5. What do you think is the purpose of having an organized life, from your perspective? To learn more, visit Frank's website at FrankBuck.org. When you join his email list, you will receive two free gifts. One of those is an ebook showing you how to use the Ticker System and also how to set up and use Remember The Milk. Vamos a descubrirlo. Here's a quick overview of the amazing capabilities of my personal productivity software, Remember The Milk. What's your favorite personal productivity software? Let me know in the comments, contact form or via email! One of the most important principles of any productivity system to which you will be externalizing your memory is your ability to rely on the tool/s you select. I hear most often from productivity experts the term " trust" when it comes to your system and their supporting tools. And, I think that's a great way to describe it. Over the past decade I've had to test and manage hundreds of technologies from staplers to mobile devices to biometric door knobs in my professional world. While most of those technologies were fascinating none has endured in my productivity system than RememberTheMilk (or RTM as its known by its users).   On the surface RTM is simply a task management application, but that in and of itself is its genius! Definitely built with the Getting Things Done meeting in mind, RememberTheMilk has all the functionality needed to manage next-actions and projects on your Runway and 10,000 foot Horizons of Focus. And it stops there, not trying to do more or less. It allows you to email or text message one or multiple tasks or projects into the tool. And you can use what are called Smart Add tags to complete fields such add as list, due date, repetition, context tags and more. Smart Add is also available in the Web interface to add tasks anywhere you'd like from the Smart Add field to anywhere else in RTM. While there are so many other features, the ability to add virtual lists (called Smart Lists) that are defined by anything in the system you can search for. Every list has a print button, share capabilities and feed so you can subscribe to the tasks for view outside the app. The program is completely free to use on the Web and on most mobile devices, and it has a mobile Web version that slims down the feature set to make for quick capture of information on the go.   The pro user account costs a mere 25$ [Update: as of 2016, now 40 USD] per year and The main benefit is that gives you unlimited synchronization across your devices and once you start heavily using the software you'll easily want this feature.   If you are struggling managing your daily, weekly or other tasks and projects, RTM is an amazing tool worth checking out!

I do like it a lot (none of those things exist for Flight Sim french users!) I also own a french community based website for FSX called FSX-Online.com (http://www.fsx-online.com) in which I try to give most useful tips for FSX and a top freeware addons selection. Thanks to you, I can now give plenty of tips for my french users ! Anyway, the concern of this mail was more about reacting about the latest show where you talked about the Concorde! And share with you this News : I have worked on a mod (patch) that could give some users the ability to run the beautiful PSS Concorde under FSX. Here are the main specs : Fully usable overhead buttons and click spots Workaround for starting engines (will be provided later in a note) Reheat (Afterburner) is now working: 0-75% throttle --> 0 to 106% N1, 76-100% throttle --> Afterburner engaged... Overall fuel consumption has been reworked to match FSX parameters! Effects repositioned (AB torch, smoke, …) Some engine specifications reworked to match real Concorde. I hope this will bring a good news to former PSS users that switched to FSX... This patch is still beta and has been tested under FSX SP2 and Acceleration. This is available on AVSIM or on my website ! http://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=145071 http://www.fsx-online.com/telechargements-fsx-avion-ligne.html (in french) Hope this will prove useful to your listeners... Cheers from France ! Tony (MaxWaldorf)

It's been cold and dreary out there this week. Autumn has definitely fallen on us. Hopefully everyone got there container plants inside or at least in a protected area. I know we did. So how many new years resolutions have you broken already? I can honestly say I've broken none. The reason? I didn't make any this year. There were times past when I make resolutions to lose weight, to exercise more, to even blog more, but most of these are something I should be doing anyway. So why make a new years resolution over it. No this year I'm doing something different. I'm not going to make any fleeting new years resolutions, I'm going to set some specific goals this year. And to prove this to myself mostly, I've added them to my "Remember The Milk" task list. So now I have to do them, their in my task list. And I'm happy to say, I've completed one, and you're listening to it. In the News: Some of the latest headlines from the Oklahoma blog-o-sphere and (Bum Bum Buuuum) the main stream media.
