Despite the absence of Yuya Kubo and Obi Nwobodo, FC Cincinnati continue to find ways to win games. This time they did it in the Windy City on a brace by Evander in his return to the starting XI, and third from striker, Kevin Denkey. Though in the end it was only a one goal differential, the Orange and Blue showed some encouraging signs of what's to come as their attacking partnerships continue to develop. Join Allie and Shaun as they discuss class (or not so classic) sports movies and talk about how they would be different, and probably better, if they were about soccer. In their first episode they reminisce about Space Jam and come up with some wild ideas on how it could have been done with the beautiful game and who, in 1996, would have filled the Michael Jordan role. Then they cast a reboot to the franchise in current day, using Union players and a couple other celebrities.

Singing might seem like magic to so many of you. But is it really the case? In this conversation with the Brazilian musician and the signing teacher, Wagner Barbosa, we talk about the mechanics of the vocal tract, what does rhythm do to our brain and why is positive reinforcement so utterly crucial if you want to learn how to sing. We also hear the story of training 30 kids to sing the national anthem at the Olympic Games - can you imagine that? Their sound is comprised of deep, melodic textures accompanied by lush pads and driving progressions. AEONIX is not defined by any one genre; rather they enjoy experimenting through whatever soundscapes inspire them at any given moment. The Medicine Songs EP is something AEONIX holds very dearly to their hearts. It has been a long time in the making, and finally ready for release. At the end of 2014, Jonnie King sat with Brother Edwin in a spiritual gathering and a vision came to him to share Edwin's icaros in the next AEONIX composition. After Edwin sent him some recordings, King brought them to his partner Johnny Reyes, which instantly sparked new creativity in their sound. The two saw this as a great opportunity to embark upon a slightly different direction with their music, and that next year AEONIX went on to open their set on the Robot Heart bus at Burning Man with the record, Pachamama Qhalichay, meaning “Earth Mother Healing.” Later on in 2015, King met Chonon Quena in another spiritual gathering, and a similar vision came to him as with Edwin. He invited Chonon to the studio to meet Reyes, and it was clear that something beautiful was about to emerge from this union. They recorded Joe Divina (“Divine Light”) together which was the perfect companion to Pachamama Qhalichay. The boys then reached out to friends Goldcap, Simon Doty & Zein, and Sergio Santos to add their magical reinterpretations of the tracks to the Medicine Songs EP.'
