Veteran theater and film actor James Sutorius has performed for the most prestigious regional and repertory theater companies including The Old Globe, La Jolla Playhouse, Center Theatre Group, South Coast Repertory, and Pasadena Playhouse. He's also performed at Lincoln Center, Yale Repertory, Long Wharf Theatre, Seattle Repertory, and many more. In 2007, he won two San Diego Theatre Critics Awards for his performance as George in "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" and for his multiple supporting roles in John Strand's play "Lincolnesque." James made his Broadway debut in 1973 in "The Changing Room." In his very first entrance as a member of a rugby team, he had to walk downstage and strip off all his clothes! Instead of finding the experience terrifying, he actually found it liberating. And he played Laertes opposite Sam Waterston's Hamlet at the Vivian Beaumont Theater, alongside a cast of rising stars including Jane Alexander, Mandy Patinkin, George Hearn and John Heard. Most recently James was seen on Broadway in Aaron Sorkin's play "The Farnsworth Invention" that was directed by Des McAnuff and produced by Steven Spielberg. James was the voice for Ragu Spaghetti Sauce for 17 years, spawning the national catchphrase "Now, THAT'S Italian!" He continues to pitch other products for Coca Cola and Wrangler Jeans. He also lends his distinctive voice to audio books and short story anthologies on tape.On TV, James' break came when he starred as investigative reporter Mike Andros in The Andros Targets. He's also appeared on such well-known TV series as Dynasty, Cannon, Kojak, St. Elsewhere, Family Ties, 21 Jump Street, Murder, She Wrote, L.A. Law, The X Files, Judging Amy, and many others. And he was a regular on Bob Crane's short-lived sitcom, The Bob Crane Show. Additionally, he's appeared in such notable TV movies as: A Death in Canaan, A Question of Love, Skokie, Space, and On Wings of Eagles. In feature films, James can be seen in Dancing as Fast as I Can starring Jill Clayburgh and Windy City with John Shea and Kate Capshaw.

Jan France was born in Chicago, to a mother who was an RN, a father who served in World War II, and a grandfather who served in World War I. She has devoted much of her life to GIVING AND SERVICE. In 1983, she conceived the idea for a wagon train in June 1983, organized, was the executive director, strategic planner, coordinator of a 3-year plan, and fund-raiser of $3 million dollars in sponsorships for the Texas Sesquicentennial Wagon Train, which covered 3,228 miles within the state, planned the route to 150 overnight stops in 150 communities to represent the 150 years since Texas's independence, created the logo, did the marketing, and drove the first wagon herself. Soon she had assistant and wagon masters such as: Walt Garrison, fullback for the Dallas Cowboys, Tom Landry, head coach for the Dallas Cowboys, Gib Lewis, Speaker of the Texas House of Representatives and other with Governor Mark White of Texas riding in the front wagon with Jan, sponsored by: Coca-Cola, Wrangler Jeans, Dairy Queen, Texas National Bank Dallas, Texas National Telephone Association, John Deere, American Honda Motor Co, Southwestern Bell Telephone and others. Despite that diagnosis, she continued to volunteer and fundraise for several years, until last year 2023, deciding to sell the Mobile Kitchen and cancel all events, still volunteering and fundraising remotely. The Coronavirus pandemic caused a shock to the grocery retail sector like none we've seen before. But with great challenges, often come great innovations. Technology now plays a bigger role in the average consumer's shopping experience than ever before and the changes we were all forced to make have opened the doors to even more innovation in the future. In this episode of the Table Talk podcast, Stefan Gates is joined by two experts to look at how technology has altered the grocery shopping landscape, and how it could shape its future too. They look at the biggest technological successes in the sector, as well as the biggest failures - the big winners and losers of the past few years. Will QR codes still play a key role a decade from now? How can mobile apps transform the shopping experience? Will automation become the norm? And what could all of the above mean for employment, data protection, and the price of food? Will blockchain develop to become the backbone of the grocery retail sector? Or will it be left looking like little more than a broken promise? Will the Metaverse become the new digital hypermarket? Or will it be consigned to the trash can? And which technological advances will we and won't we still be talking about in 10 years' time? Mike Watkins, Head of Retailer and Business Insight, Nielsen IQ Mike is Head of Retailer and Business and Insight for Nielsen IQ in the UK and is responsible for commercial development with food, non-food and e-commerce retailers. This week's show starts off by giving an update on a topic covered on last week's show: bears and their hibernating schedule. Our listener, "the bear man" weighs in on the topic. After that, there's some brief Bigtime Tommy and Daddy Man discussion. We then get into some Demi Lovato news (you're all waiting for it!). Does someone in the comedy world have beef with D+O??? Oooooooh. Listen and find out if there's something going on or much ado about nothing. After that, we talk about an Austrian brothel that is approaching Covid vaccination in a different way than more traditional places. O'Neill talks about some interesting crowd members he encountered at the Comedy Store. That leads into a story about a California teacher using some non-traditional and out-of-the-box and possibly insane teaching methods. Danish asks for some advice about a dude who keeps inserting himself in his family walks. We end the show by wondering where the Bushman is these days. This month's Gut Feeling Podcast is an interview with Supercrush vocalist/guitarist Mark Palm. While currently based in Seattle, Mark grew up in Vancouver, so we got into some of his earliest experiences in the Lower Mainland punk and hardcore scene. Throughout the talk, Mark gets into: playing shows with his first proper band, Look Inside; joining the great Reserve 34; the time he tried his hand at stand up comedy; the time he modeled for Wrangler Jeans; somewhat hesitantly joining a joke band about competitive swimming; the impact of Expo 86 mascot Expo Ernie on the world of Supercrush; and a couple of other things, too! Mark was the first person I'd interviewed for Gut Feeling last fall (just a couple of hours ahead of a call with Steph from Punitive Damage ), so this is something of an anniversary party. Enjoy! Eros means love based on worth or value. It is the force of Eros love that drives us to say "I gotta have that [person, job, vacation, object]". The problem is that when we rely on Eros love, we rely on conditions (as long as). This is conditional love, not an unconditional love. Eros love can go away just as quickly as it came. Eros love draws lines and sets limits, which is a severe limitation. Our lives are not to be as a people pleaser, but as a God pleaser.
Andrew Thomas is director of the award-winning natural health brand, BetterYou. BetterYou specialises in the pill-free supplementation of nutrients that have been underrepresented or simply omitted due to our modern diet and lifestyles, including transdermal magnesium and oral vitamin sprays. After graduating in Business Management, majoring in Marketing, Andrew went on to work alongside Michael Eavis to go to launch a Glastonbury magazine, celebrating its 25th birthday. That didn't quite go to plan and go ahead, but Andrew talks all about the lessons he had learned in business and in life from that point. After more work with publishing and magazines, Andrew joined Wrangler Jeans as head of Retail Marketing for Northern Europe. During work with a marketing and design agency, Andrew was introduced to what would become his future while he was on a photoshoot in the US. Andrew had been an asthmatic since the age of 12. it was a chance meeting with a bio-chemist named Juan Rosello who turned his life around. Juan was a medical professional working with a select group of major American sporting teams primarily investigating the role magnesium plays in muscle recovery after exertion. Juan educated Andrew on the role that an increased intake of magnesium, along with a reduction of calcium, would play in his condition, allowing relaxation of bronchial muscles and airways. The difference in what they were investigating was magnesium being supplemented through the skin, called transdermal magnesium therapy. Andrew was touched by an immense drive to take magnesium to the world and share it with others who may benefit. Andrew hasn't taken a steroid inhaler now for 10 years. We talk about Andrews failures and how he has let that shape him in life but also in business going forward. We investigate why magnesium is so important for the body, whether that be athletes or people just wanting to improve their well being by enveloping something else into their routine which they had never thought about before. We are also really proud to say that BetterYou, this awesome brand is supporting and sponsoring Mantality. Enjoy the podcast! https://betteryou.com

Welcome to Episode 2!This past week has handed us some THICK topics to chat about. Julia jumps right into the collaboration between Lil Nas X and Wrangler Jeans. White men are pissed and unbearably wrong (as per usual). Ally takes a critical look at the Femm App, a period tracking app funded by anti-choice donors, and the negative effects illegitimate apps, like the Femm App, will have on its users. We take a look at one of the most unimpressive, wishy-washy, good-boy presidential candidates, Joe Biden. Struggling with transitions.... we then hop into current attacks on the trans community. No matter what you call him - genius, recluse, friend, foe, outgoing, unapproachable, giving, kind, or thoughtful - there is so much more to Nova Scotia's J.P. Cormier beneath the surface. Celebrated as a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer, recording artist, teacher, collaborator, innovator, and award winner, J.P.’s talent is comparable to none. He’s praised in superlatives, but even these don’t do the man justice. The best way to get to know J.P. is to listen to his music. His latest song is called Hometown Battlefield. Alberta's Don Gammie is country singer/songwriter from Lucknow, Ontario but has called Edmonton, Alberta home since 1994. When attending an open mic session where he received great response to his performance from fellow musicians, he was approached by Laurence Pugh to work together on a couple of original songs. Within days, Don was in a recording studio for the first time, with seasoned studio musicians. Don is attracted to and influenced by a wide range of music from soulful rock and alternative to Country and Indie. “Playing music is an astonishing thing. It feeds the soul - and success or not - mine will never be full,” he explains. Mandy Ringdal is a singer/songwriter from Hawarden, Saskatchewan. She wrote her first song at 13 years of age about her trusty pair of Wrangler Jeans, and followed this with many poems and other literary works. For several years she focused on getting an education as a biologist and nurse. But a life changing diagnosis sent her on a different path. She moved back to the country after years of feeling unsettled in the city. It was during this time that she taught herself to play guitar and dove into songwriting. She began recording her first album in March of 2012. Mandy's latest release is called Love Knows What To Do.
The theme of this episode is Random, three very different stories about NASA, bloody feet, and Wrangler Jeans. Pepper Berry saves Canada from nuclear disaster, Brandee Stilwell will stop at nothing for clean dishes, and Kevin McGeehan recounts his first (and only) fistfight.
