Pamatuju se, jak jsem někdy v roce 2017 pomáhal připravovat velký text do časopisu Forbes, ve kterém tehdejší analytik časopisu odhadoval, že se v České republice prodají přes Facebookové skupiny tenisky v hodnotě okolo dvou miliard korun. O pár let později, po první vlně covidu, se tento šedý trh s teniskami a oblečením více a více zlegalizoval a začalo se otevírat více a více tzv. consigment stores. Tomáš Paťava pracoval ve sneaker storech a dalších obchodech a více než 10 let sleduje secondary market s teniskami a oblečením a aktivně se věnuje tzv. resellingu. Dřív se tenisky prodávaly přes Facebook, nebo přímo před obchody s teniskami, dneska se největší obraty v tomto segmentu dějí online na Discordu a prodávají se vstupenky na vyprodané koncerty velkých hudebních umělců po celém světě. He reaffirms that the crime was fueled by self-absorption, that he wished to prove that he was extraordinary and able to take actions that ordinary people cannot. There's something about music that cuts deeper than words alone. He grew up in foster homes and spent multiple years homeless—going from being locked up to sleeping on the sidewalks of downtown Portland. His music is deeply rooted in his life experiences, including addiction, incarceration, and homelessness. He is a firm believer in spreading hope and giving back to the community he once helped destroy. Since being released from prison on November 30, 2018, Skyler has refocused on his music and is determined to share his message with the world. He continues to live in Portland, Oregon, and remains clean and sober. In this conversation, Jamie Demeris and Skyler Ray discuss what it really takes to rebuild a life after addiction.
