It's the podcast that's rated SM-R (Sorry, Mrs. Reed) but has still managed to avoid that pesky explicit rating - It's Guys of a Certain Age!   Also the podcast that's made approximately $27.50 in advertising over almost 300 episodes - they have a ways to catch up to Deadpool and Wolverine, which is shattering box office records one after the other.  And that doesn't even include the 116 F-bombs and the special edition chimichanga at Disneyland.  It had all the surprise cameos, all the easter eggs, all the cultural references, all the Reynolds/Lively family, all the Deadpools and all the Wolverines from all the universes (or is it universi?), and did we mention, all the F-bombs?  The Guys agreed it was quite the spectacle, but still hit all the buttons of great superhero action, plot twists, tear potential, comic fan service, and fourth wall interaction.   Mrs. Reed is unlikely to see it in theaters or anywhere else, but The Guys are ready to see it again.  Spoilers abound, so beware!

Nerd Christmas! Yes, San Diego Comic-Con is wrapping up for another year, but you can keep your Batmans and your Supermans and your Deadpools and your WHO CARES NEW DOCTOR WHO TRAILER! LEGO DIMENSIONS WITH ALL THE DOCTORS! And most importantly, 5.5 INCH P-CAP DOLLY! Of course there was much more news from San Diego of interest to Doctor Who aficionados, and we also have an on-the-spot report from gentleman scribe Kyle Anderson of the Nerdist, who was on the ground at Hall H for the entire con! Game of Thrones har haft säsongspremiär, och i episod 102 av [NÖRD:IGT] blir det även premiär för Westeros-rapporten! Innan dess blir det även snack om Netflix Daredevil-serie, lite spel och en massa film. Urspårningar förekommer också i vanlig ordning. Panelen består den här veckan av Vanne, Peter, Niklas, Jonas och Tove, och vi inleder med att öppna postsäcken. Vi snackar bland annat om hur Marvel-events – så kallade tie-ins – påverkar specifika karaktärer, om Star Wars-episod 1-3 verkligen ÄR så dåliga som vi ofta påstår, och om hur många avsnitt man bör ge en ny serie innan man kan ge upp. Vidare pratar Tove om det Ghibli-inspirerade plattformsäventyret Ori and the Blind Forest, som Vanne och Peter hann känna på under San Diego Comic Con. Filmdelen blir fullmatad även denna vecka. Niklas har sett tre filmer: Jon Favreau-mysrullen Chef, Neill Blomkamps Chappie och den högst oklara drama och/eller science-fictionfilmen Another Earth. Peter och Vanne peppar också för den kommande Deadpool-filmen – i synnerhet för marknadsföringen som hittills är helt i Deadpools anda. Vi pratar också lite om den nya Ant-Man-trailern, som verkar lova en hel del coola – om än småttiga – fightingscener. Vanne, Peter och Niklas har också kollat in Daredevil, som släpptes i dagarna på Netflix. Vanne och Peter, som har bingeat alla 13 avsnitt, är helt sålda på Marvels mörkare och råare tv-serie. Kanske blir det även någon typ av säl? Slutligen är det dags att ta tempen på Game of Thrones.
