EBRO S700: El Renacimiento de una Marca Icónica en el Corazón de Barcelona El nombre EBRO vuelve a resonar con fuerza en el panorama automovilístico español. Después de décadas de inactividad, la histórica marca regresa al mercado con el lanzamiento del EBRO S700, un SUV compacto que busca hacerse un hueco en un segmento altamente competitivo. Esta nueva etapa de EBRO no solo representa la resurrección de una marca emblemática, sino también un paso estratégico para la reindustrialización de la antigua fábrica de Nissan en la Zona Franca de Barcelona. El maletero de 500 litros es uno de sus puntos fuertes, ideal para quienes buscan versatilidad en su día a día. El puesto de conducción está bien resuelto, con asientos amplios y confortables. En cuanto a los consumos, durante las pruebas se registraron cifras entre 7 y 8 l/100 km, un dato que, aunque superior al homologado, se mantiene dentro de lo esperado para un SUV de su categoría. Tecnología y Seguridad: Equipamiento de Serie Muy Competitivo Uno de los grandes atractivos del EBRO S700 es su amplio equipamiento de serie. Además de las ya mencionadas pantallas, el vehículo incorpora sistemas avanzados de asistencia a la conducción (ADAS), como el control de crucero adaptativo, la frenada de emergencia automática y la alerta de cambio involuntario de carril. Además, está prevista la llegada de versiones híbridas e híbridas enchufables, lo que permitirá a EBRO ampliar su oferta y adaptarse a las demandas del mercado europeo. Actualmente, EBRO cuenta con 35 concesionarios en España, con el objetivo de alcanzar 80 puntos de venta para finales de 2025. Me encantan los coches, pero… hay que reconocer las cosas como son, las tecnología aeronáutica y aeroespacial, sobre todo en los comienzos del automóvil, iba muy por delante. Tanto como para que el automóvil “robase” tecnologías del mundo aeronáutico… y lo sigue haciendo ¿no te lo crees? No te traigo ni uno ni dos, sino 20 ejemplos. Justo es reconocer que hubo dos hechos que impulsaron el desarrollo de la técnicas aeroespaciales y aeronáuticas, que van de la mano. El primer hecho fue la II Guerra Mundial. Pero un empujón tecnológico igual o superior llegó con la carrera espacial. The Planetary Society, especialistas en estos temas, estiman que, en dólares actuales teniendo en cuenta la inflación, los USA se gastaron, agarraos, casi 300.000 millones de dólares… para que te hagas una idea, más del doble del PIB de un país como Marruecos… increíble. Muchas de esas tecnologías llegaron a los aviones y de ahí, al automóvil. No olvidemos que hubo marcas involucradas en ambos negocios, como por Saab, desaparecida como marca de coches, pero no de aviones, o Matra ahora asociada a Aéroespatiale, y que además de coches de calle, competición y F1 fabricó misiles… por ejemplo. Pero vamos ya con esta lista, por orden alfabético, porque ¡son 20! 1. Antibloqueo de frenos o ABS. 2. Aerodinámica. 3. Alerones. 4. Baño de oro. 5. Caja negra. 6. Cristales calefactados. 7. Chapa ondulada. 8. Efecto suelo. 9. Electrónica. 10. Empleo del aluminio. 11. Empleo de la fibra de carbono. 12. Empleo del titanio. 12+1. Estabilizador longitudinal. 14. Freno aerodinámico. 15. GPS. 16. Head-Up Display. 17. Inyección directa de combustible. 18. Night Panel. 19. Radar. 20. Turbocompresor. Conclusión. Aunque he pretendido ser exhaustivo, seguro que me he dejado cosas en el olvido… pero para eso estáis vosotros… os leo en comentarios. Coche del día. Voy a elegir al Saab 900 Aero de 1997 por dos motivos. Primero, fue un coche fabricado por una empresa dedicada a la aeronáutica… y se notaba. Y segundo, fue el primer coche, si no me equivoco, que probe con Night Panel.

The company says it has collected 200,000 refundable $100 deposits for the Lightning since it debuted in May. - Ford hasn't said how many it plans to build in 2022, but Automotive News reports that the automaker is looking to build as many as 80,000 in 2023. The company has publicly said it wants to build that many in 2024 after originally targeting just 40,000 annually and has been hiring new workers to handle the demand. - That base model is supposed to offer around 230 miles of range and has a more bare-bones interior, including a 12-inch landscape touchscreen display that runs Sync 4. Higher trims will come with the same 15.5-inch vertical touchscreen from the Mustang Mach-E, and there's an extended range battery option that can push the range to around 300 miles. While revealing the model name as the Silverado E, Park confirmed the Chevrolet would make its debut at the Consumer Electronics Show next month. - While full details of the Silverado E will be revealed in January, Park assured the audience the electric pick-up would offer a driving range of at least 300 miles – or 483 kilometres. - Like the GMC Hummer EV – which uses the same Ultium electric platform as the Chevrolet – the Silverado E will adopt four-wheel-steering to greatly improve its turning circle. - The Chevrolet Silverado E will be unveiled on January 5, 2022, with production set to begin in early 2023. Instagram user wilcoblok has published surprisingly revealing images of a prototype devoid of any camouflage. These seem to be real photos rather than a professional Photoshop job and depict the hot hatch version judging by the S. - we're not seeing the traditional dual exhaust tips mounted in the middle. Corroborated with the lack of a traditional front grille, we have reasons to believe we're actually looking at the electric Cooper S. The front-end design is quite familiar with the big and round circles of the headlights, although the lower lights have been removed to give the bumper a simplified look. - The rear lights have a trapezoidal shape and feature an intricate black pattern reminding us of a spider's web. - . It doesn't seem to have a digital instrument cluster, but it does boast a head-up display. Taking center stage is the big circle serving as the touchscreen from the infotainment system. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) withhold support of the broader package, lawmakers will need to negotiate a change to the credit, although it's unclear whether that will be necessary. The credit could also be chopped altogether. - The massive measure is being advanced through a budget reconciliation process to allow Democrats to pass the bill with a simple Senate majority. - A separate former senior Republican staff member said that there shouldn't be a concern with the labor-friendly incentive under budget rules, considering it's an amendment to an existing tax incentive. Currently, finished magnets and raw materials, such as neodymium, are sourced largely from China. - the two deals are expected to create “hundreds” of jobs and provide enough magnets for all the motors GM will need going forward. - Previous deals have laid out plans for GM to source raw minerals to finished components from suppliers in the U.S. and Canada. That's a critical move, said analyst Stephanie Brinley of IHS Markit. It would not only reduce dependence on potentially unreliable trade partners, like China, but also minimize the risk of supply chain disruptions. We didn’t get a close look at it then because the unveiling didn’t go into exhaustive detail. Now, Cupra has finally given us close look we’ve been begging for, and it has revealed a familiar design with a cool twist." reports Jalopnik: "The slower of the two models will make about 148 horsepower and 229 lb-ft of torque. The second will make about 201 HP and the same torque. But there’s more: Cupra will offer an e-Boost performance pack that bumps up the output to around 228 HP. The e-Boost Borns will be available with either a 58 kWh or 77 kWh battery. When drivers configure their Born to include the e-Boost and come with the smaller 58 kWh battery, the Cupra can go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 6.6 seconds." As for charging, Cupra says: "The high-performance EV can add an additional 100km [62 mi.] of range in as little as 7 minutes using a 125kW charging point, making typical journeys as simple and easy as if using a combustion engine vehicle. And even if the battery pack SOC [state of charge] is only 5% it can be replenished to 80% in as little as 35 minutes." Going inside: "The steering wheel is one of the most striking features, having two buttons for switching between driving modes and selecting the CUPRA mode, and both have a great touch. The dashboard has a very good feel and the passenger side is topped with a similar inlay. The whole thing is adorned by two screens, a 12.0-inch one for the multimedia system and a smaller one for the digital instrument panel. In addition, the Head-Up Display with augmented reality contributes to the technological array." says Motor1: "The Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC), progressive steering, brakes, and ESC Sport mode for the stability control are all details that suggest this car will be very complete dynamically. He’s since soured on radar, which uses radio waves to do the same thing. Tesla’s sensor suite previously relied on radar as well as eight cameras. While Musk has said for several years he believes Tesla is on the verge of delivering Level 5 autonomy -- meaning its cars won’t require human intervention -- drivers have needed to keep their hands on the wheel when using Autopilot. Tesla raised more than $2 billion two years ago after Musk made several predictions about robotaxis that didn’t materialize. Many Tesla customers who have Autopilot say that the features get better over time as the company rolls out new software updates." Tesla posted a blog update: We are continuing the transition to Tesla Vision, our camera-based Autopilot system. Beginning with deliveries in May 2021, Model 3 and Model Y vehicles built for the North American market will no longer be equipped with radar. The capacity for the production of the electric motors at the site has also been increased." says electrive: "The batteries for the iX will remain in Dingolfing, where production of the electric SUV is scheduled to start “shortly”. The electric sedan i4 is to be built at the plant in Munich from autumn. At the same time, capacities for the production of the fifth-generation electric motor will be increased. This generation of motors has been produced for the iX3 in Dingolfing since 2020 and is then transported to the vehicle plant in Shenyang in China. GERMANY HITS RECORD 9.2% EV MARKET SHARE IN MARCH "Europe’s largest auto market, Germany, hit another all-time record plug-in electric vehicle market share in March, reaching 9.2%. The Tesla Model 3 was the best selling full electric model, with an estimated 1490 sales, just ahead of the Renault Zoe. Overall auto market volume fell 38% year on year." says CleanTechnica: "The German EV market was fairly balanced between plug-in hybrids (PHEVs) and full battery electrics (BEVs). Notably, plug-in vehicles overtook old-tech plug-less hybrids for the first time. NEW AUDI E-TRON SPORTBACK "The Sportback line-up mirrors that of the regular e-tron so there are two versions available, starting with the 50 quattro, which has a 71kWh battery, 217-mile range and develops 309bhp. The more potent 55 quattro, which we’re driving here, uses a 95kWh battery for a 278-mile range, and develops a more eye-catching 404bhp." writes AutoExpress: "One thing that doesn’t change, regardless of the version, is the compromise you have to make with the Sportback. It’s 4.9 metres long, like the regular model, but there is around 20mm less headroom in the back, along with an overall luggage capacity that has dropped by 45 litres because of the sloping roofline." Auto Express go on to say: "Speaking of long drives, they are reasonably feasible, thanks to the e-tron’s rapid-charging capability. The only trouble is finding one; currently there are fewer than 900 publicly available in the UK" OVER 4,000 VW E-GOLF ORDERS IN GERMANY IN ONE MONTH "People in Germany are wanting more Volkswagen e-Golf than ever before - sort of. One is the optional advanced head-up display system, which based on what we’ve seen in VW’s promo videos, is more brilliant and more advanced than anything else on the market." according to Motor1.com: "Mind you, we’re still taking this with a grain of salt, since VW says that what it has shown so far is a near-production version of the system that will be available for the ID.3, so it is still subject to change. My Chevy Bolt had software issues when I bought it, but they have been fixed with software updates. If GM can do it, I am confident VW can as well. Stefan Neither a pass or a hammer should be applied. The market will punish or reward legacy auto makers for the speed of their transition to EV's. Due to poor performance of Legacy automakers Tesla is here to stay. If they keep it up the big 3 may refer to Tesla, Rivian and Lucid. Rich Fowler I had an immediate reaction to your question about VW, and the TL;DR version is: Don't dogpile on a company that's not doing something legally, ethically, or morally wrong at the moment. On the other hand, if VW were to get caught up in more diesel shenanigans, then it would be perfectly fair to point out a "pattern or practice of bad faith activity," and pile on. But with this story, that isn't the case. This is a case where they've bitten off a bit more than they can chew on the software side, and they're still actually TRYING to make EVs. That's asking for trouble :-) Peter Sort i would not like one of those ID3s that been sitting in a feild for months uncharged what battery damage will have been done befor you even get it John Hughes Question of the week - We should treat them as hard as they treated Tesla, in the early days, when Tesla was having development problems. Roger Starkey If they came (come) to market quietly, or showing respect for those already there, the same respect should be shown to them. If they came in "talking the talk", with a "killer" attitude..... They deserve "criticism" to match. Peter Mooney Yes, I do think we should give them a hard time. But only when they put profit ahead of what is right, and employ FUD to do it. They should be held accountable for their part in climate change. JOHN FRUHWIRTH I say no. We should not go easy on big auto. They have given us a misleading/fraudulent song and dance for far too long. Their greed has not only cost us billions, polluted our environment but they have also contributed to our greatly to our health problems. Tesla has shown us that their model building compelling EVs is woefully wanting. Not only can they not make a car to compete with Tesla's 2012 vintage cars in terms of efficiency, they cannot even manage their supply chains (e.g. enough batteries to keep their factories up and running). And now we learn that they have no idea how to make the software to run the hardware. BARRY WOLF Even though VW is going electric because of its sins, it is good that it is investing $billions, both on internal projects, and fines, to advance EV transport. Instead of criticizing it, I would hope people could offer to help in some way to get the ID.3 on the road. Not that I can program, but maybe, especially now during the plague, there are those with automotive BEV expertise who can offer help to VW. LEANNE ROBERTS I don't think that manufacturers that are trying to make EVs should be heavily criticised. I do however think that companies who refuse to acknowledge the changes to personal transport or update their OLD hybrid technology, should be shamed and forced to remove their grossly misleading advertising. Im vergangenen Jahr schlug Opel mit dem neuen Combo Life ein weiteres Kapitel in seiner Geschichte auf. Die nunmehr fünfte Combo-Generation ist ein echter Allrounder, der auf einer komplett neuen Architektur basiert. Er kombiniert ein hohes Platzangebot und ist zudem ausgesprochen flexibel und praktisch. Darum geht es diesmal!Bestimmte Schlüsselworte assoziiere ich immer mit Musik. Lese ich zum Beispiel irgendwo das Wort „Life“, also Leben, denke ich sofort an „Life is Life“ von Opus und höre den Einstieg mit dem Schlagzeug. Demzufolge war das 14 Tage lang MEIN SONG, während ich den Opel Combo Life getestet habe. Mit einem maximalen Kofferraumvolumen von 2.126 Liter bzw. sogar 2.693 Litern in der XL Version wäre das übrigens auch ein geeigneter Transporter für ein XXL-Schlagzeug und noch ein paar andere Instrumente! Das Outfit!Den 1,80 Meter hohen Opel Combo Life gibt es als 4,40 Meter lange Standardversion oder als 35 Zentimeter längere Langversion und mit bis zu zwei Schiebetüren. Beide Varianten kann man als Fünf- oder als Siebensitzer ordern. Power und Drive! Antriebsseitig stehen dem Opel Combo Life ein Benzinmotor mit 81 kW (110 PS) und drei 1.5 Liter Dieselaggregate mit 56 kW (76 PS), 75 kW (102 PS) und 96 kW (130 PS) zur Verfügung. Die letztgenannte Variante ist auch mit einer 8-Stufen-Automatik zu haben, die anderen mit 5- bzw. 6-Gang Schaltgetrieben. Wir haben uns mit 56 kW (76 PS) zufriedengegeben. Damit waren wir nach 16,5 Sekunden bei Tempo 100 angelangt, die maximale Geschwindigkeit liegt bei 153 km/h. Der Kraftstoffverbrauch nach NEFZ beträgt im kombinierten Verbrauch zwischen 4.1 l und 4.5 Liter Diesel auf 100km, die CO2 Emission nach NEFZ kombiniert zwischen 108.0 und 118.0 g / km. Die Innenausstattung!Sehr erfreulich ist, dass es heutzutage auch in Fahrzeugen der Combo-Life-Kategorie Assistenzsysteme in Hülle und Fülle gibt. Je nach Ausstattungslinie entweder serienmäßig oder optional gibt es zum Beispiel einen Geschwindigkeitsregler, Fahrerassistenz-Systeme wie Müdigkeitserkennung, 180-Grad-Rückfahrkamera mit Vogelperspektive und IntelliGrip. Oder auch Head-Up-Display, Frontkollisionswarner mit automatischer Gefahrenbremsung und Fußgänger-Erkennung sowie den Verkehrsschild- und Spurhalte-Assistenten. Die Kosten!Die Preisskala des Combo Life beginnt bei 19.995,00 Euro und endet bei 31.550,00 Euro. Zwischen 20.145,00 Euro und 26.200,00 Euro muss man für die 56 kW (76 PS) Variante anlegen, die es aber im Gegensatz zu den anderen Motorversionen nicht in der XL-Version gibt. Dabei hat der Allrounder schon in der Ausstattungslinie Selection serienmäßig Fahrerassistenz-Systeme wie Frontkollisionswarner mit automatischer Gefahrenbremsung und Fußgänger-Erkennung, Spurhalte-Assistent, Berg-Anfahr-Assistent, intelligenter Geschwindigkeitsregler und Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzer sowie Müdigkeits- und Verkehrsschilderkennung an Bord. Wem das noch nicht ausreicht, der kann die nächsthöhere Variante Edition ordern. Die gibt es ab 23.450 Euro. Hier sind dann schon weitere Ausstattungsmerkmale wie das Apple CarPlay und Android Auto kompatible Multimedia-Radio mit acht Zoll großem Farb-Touchscreen, Klimaanlage sowie das beheizbare Lederlenkrad standardmäßig dabei. Keine Frage, der neue Opel Combo Life hebt die Messlatte im Segment in Sachen Sicherheit und Komfort an. Foto: Opel Automobile GmbH So kommen aus dem kompakten SUV-Segment bekannte und etablierte Technologien und Fahrerassistenz-Systeme wie die 180-Grad-Panorama-Rückfahrkamera mit Vogelperspektive und Head-Up-Display genauso zum Einsatz wie das adaptive Traktionssystem IntelliGrip, bei dem beste Traktion und stabiles Fahrverhalten gewährleistet werden, egal ob der Combo Life gerade auf Matsch, Sand, regennasser Fahrbahn oder Schnee unterwegs ist. Neu ist zudem der Flankenschutz. Das System warnt mittels zwölf Sensoren beim Rangieren im niederen Geschwindigkeitsbereich davor, dass eine Fahrzeugseite ein Hindernis (Pfeiler, Wände etc.) streifen oder mit ihm kollidieren könnte. Fahrrelevante und unterhaltungsbezogene Informationen werden, historisch betrachtet, räumlich getrennt im Fahrzeuginnenraum angeordnet: Für die Fahraufgabe notwendige Anzeigen befinden sich direkt vor dem Fahrer (Kombiinstrument und Head-Up Display) und Inhalte des Fahrerinformationssystems in der Mittelkonsole (zentrales Informationsdisplay). Aktuell ist eine Auflösung dieser strikten Trennung zu beobachten. Beispielsweise werden im Kombiinstrument Teilumfänge der Infotainmentinhalte abgerufen und bedient. Um dem Fahrer einen sicheren Umgang mit den zunehmenden Infotainmentinhalten zu ermöglichen, die Komplexität des Fahrerinteraktionsraumes zu reduzieren und den Kundennutzen zu steigern, betrachtet die vorliegende Arbeit die derzeit isolierten Displays ganzheitlich und lotet die Grenzen der momentan strikten Informationsverteilung neu aus. Es werden Grundlagen für die verkehrsgerechte Bedienung und Darstellung verteilter Informationen abhängig von deren Anzeigefläche gelegt, Konzepte zur nutzerinitiierten Individualisierung entwickelt und das Zusammenspiel von unterschiedlichen Anzeigeflächen evaluiert. Die in dieser Arbeit durchgeführten Studien zeigen, dass der räumlich verteilte Fahrerinteraktionsraum die Bedienung des Fahrerinformationssystems für den Nutzer sicherer und attraktiver gestaltet.

Alla sportività ed il piacere di guida da coupé purosangue, la BMW Serie 6 Gran Coupé abbina equipaggiamenti esclusivi, generosa abitabilità nella zona posteriore e un eccellente livello di funzionalità. Le dimensioni sono importanti, con una lunghezza di poco più di 5 metri ed una larghezza di quasi un metro e 90 centimetri. Tanta imponenza viene però ben dissimulata dalle forme affusolate e da un’altezza di appena un metro e 39 centimetri, da autentica coupé sportiva. La Gran Coupé è disponibile nelle versioni 640i e 640d con motori TwinPower Turbo 6 cilindri di 3 litri da 320 cavalli per il benzina e 313 per il diesel. A settembre arriveranno anche le versioni 650i che porteranno al debutto il nuovo V8 TwinPower Turbo di 4,4 litri da 450 cavalli che sarà abbinato anche alla trazione integrale BMW xDrive. Tutte le versioni sono equipaggiate con un cambio automatico a otto rapporti, pulsante di selezione della modalità di guida Eco Pro e funzione start/stop automatico con Stop&Go. Le dotazioni di sicurezza sono ai vertici, come da tradizione BMW, e prevedono, tra gli altri, gli ancoraggi Isofix per i bambini – nascosti sotto un’elegante cerniera integrata nel rivestimento dei sedili posteriori laterali. Ma la lista degli optional è praticamente infinita con innovativi sistemi di assistenza alla guida come l’Head-Up Display a colori, i fari adattivi a Led, il pacchetto M Sport, un programma specifico di personalizzazione BMW Individual, sospesioni a controllo dinamico DDC e lo sterzo attivo, solo per citarne alcuni... La BMW Serie 6 Gran Coupé esordirà sul mercato a inizio giugno con prezzi a partire da 81.000 Euro.
