On this episode of the JT Sports Podcast, JT breaks down why Lane Kiffin's offseason roster-building superpower could leave LSU vulnerable against Clemson in Week 1, and why Jeff Brohm and Louisville might be the exact kind of opening-week matchup Ole Miss doesn't want. JT explains how Deion Sanders' offensive changes with Brennan Marion and JuJu Lewis could give Colorado a completely different look against Georgia Tech, why Keelon Russell could be the weapon that pushes Alabama back into the College Football Playoff, and what Jon Sumrall choosing Aaron Philo at quarterback reveals about Florida's new identity. How could NFL cut day become college football's newest transfer portal, and what does the latest eligibility chaos mean for Lane Kiffin, LSU, and the rest of the sport? JT also discusses how the Big Ten's three straight national championships have changed the perception of the SEC, whether Georgia and Texas can restore the conference's benefit of the doubt, and gives his SEC record predictions for the 2026 College Football season. All that plus Week 1 upset angles, quarterback battles, CFP contenders, coaching storylines, and the biggest questions surrounding the SEC and College Football entering 2026.

The differences between an adult Sunday school class and one for kids are quite striking. A class for toddlers and preschoolers is rarely organized around the logic of a Bible passage, or even a lesson outline. Instead, lessons are structured by the classroom schedule and environment—by a basic routine and activity centers that are designed for play, music, the Bible story, and other games or crafts. How do we prepare children's lessons that are Christ-centered, biblically faithful, engaging for kids, and oriented towards the distinct ways that kids learn? This workshop will help you learn how to do just that. Jared Kennedy serves as an editor for The Gospel Coalition. Three years ago, I learned about the four systems of business while attending an LMN Mastermind. While those principles still hold true, my understanding of them has evolved tremendously. Coming off the Break Records Tour stop in Minnesota, I'm reflecting on how grateful I am for the educational journey this industry has given me. From building my own business and making mistakes to meeting incredible contractors and seeing how other successful companies operate, every experience has added another layer to my knowledge. In this episode, I revisit those four systems, share what Minnesota taught me, and unpack how my story and perspective have changed three years later.

Building a successful lawn care and landscaping company takes more than selling work. You need systems for developing great people AND getting paid for the work your team produces. In this episode, we're talking about how we're improving employee onboarding and training with Greenius, what's coming with Greenius 2.0, and why your best employees shouldn't have to carry the entire training load. Then we're switching gears to cash flow and LMN Pay. We'll talk about the difference between revenue and actual cash in the bank, why getting paid quickly matters, and how creating a simple, professional payment process can strengthen your business. Two different topics with one common theme: better systems build better businesses.

BYU basketball picked up a commitment from former Michigan State big man Jaxon Kohler. Kohler picked BYU over Kentucky, Kansas, and Louisville. He gives BYU a big man who competed in the NBA Summer League over the past summer. Kohler, an American Fork, Utah native is eligible due to a court injunction that gives him the ability to take advantage of a fifth year in the new 5-in-5 rule. During his senior season at Michigan State, Kohler was an Honorable Mention All-Big Ten performer. On this episode of The Bourbon Life Podcast presented by Repeal Oak Fired Steakhouse, Mark and Matt are joined by John Wadell, Head Taster, Blender, and Single Barrel Curator at Kentucky Peerless Distilling Co., for a long-overdue return to the show. Recording from the Kentucky Peerless Suite at Hotel Distil in Louisville, John catches them up on how his role has evolved and reflects on his journey from the early days of Peerless to helping guide the whiskey the distillery is producing today. John talks about the growth of his palate over the past decade, the collaborative tasting and blending process at Peerless, and how the team decides which barrels become batches, single barrels, or special releases. He also shares the fun behind naming Peerless single barrels, discusses the success of the High Rye Bourbon, and explains why the distillery's sweet mash process, non-chill filtration, and focus on mouthfeel remain such important parts of the Peerless identity. The conversation also turns to a major milestone for the distillery: the release of Henry Kraver's 10-Year Bourbon. John shares what it was like tasting through roughly 200 barrels to select the final group for the release and why working with whiskey he remembers filling and rolling years ago made the experience especially meaningful. He also looks ahead to the 10-Year Rye planned for next year, the possibility of older age-stated releases and single barrels, and some intriguing older Double Oak barrels still aging in the Peerless inventory. Along the way, Mark, Matt, and John taste and review "The Phoenix," a 108.5-proof Kentucky Peerless Double Barrel Rye Single Barrel selected for Repeal Steakhouse and Hotel Distil. They talk through its oak, rye spice, citrus, toffee, chocolate, coffee, and malty notes while John explains Peerless' unique approach to Double Oak whiskey—letting the palate, rather than a fixed timetable, determine when each barrel is ready. It's a fun, wide-ranging conversation about whiskey, patience, blending, the evolution of Kentucky Peerless, and what comes next for one of Louisville's most distinctive family-owned distilleries. Pour yourself a great glass, sit back, and join us for another great episode of The Bourbon Life Podcast. This episode of The Bourbon Life Podcast is presented by Repeal Oak Fired Steakhouse and sponsored by Pappy & Co., District 7 Social, The Kitchen Table at the James B. Beam Distilling Co., and Hotel Distil.
What if the difference between "just water" and an unforgettable tasting experience came down to total dissolved solids, source, and treatment? In this Five Minute Fridays episode, Bourbon Lens turns a glass of water into a side-by-side flavor experiment that will change the way you think about hydration, bottled water, and even bourbon tasting.Host Jake teams up with Kelly from Louisville Water to compare Louisville Pure Tap against three well-known bottled waters — Dasani, Evian, and Gerolsteiner — using the same look, sniff, swirl, sip method water professionals use in the lab every day. Along the way, you'll hear why Dasani reads as a stripped-down, basic profile with just 30 total dissolved solids, why Evian feels "fancy" with its mineral-rich spring-water character, and how Gerolsteiner's natural effervescence brings a completely different mouthfeel to the glass. You'll discover:How total dissolved solids (TDS) shape water's taste and feelWhy source water and treatment matter more than most people realizeThe difference between tap water, spring water, mineral water, and premium bottled waterHow Louisville Pure Tap's TDS of 240 compares to spring water giant EvianA simple at-home water tasting method you can try with friends and familyKelly also explains why Louisville Water runs taste tests in the lab every day, and why the goal isn't finding a "best" water — it's understanding the story inside each glass. If you've ever dismissed tap water as plain, this episode shows how much character, geology, and craft can live in something as simple as a sip.Perfect for bourbon fans, curious tasters, and anyone who enjoys a quick, low-stakes experiment that makes an everyday ritual feel surprisingly new. After this one, you may never look at a glass of water the same way again.Chapters:00:00 Introduction to Water Tasting01:14 Tasting Dasani – Basic Bottled Water02:53 Tasting Evian – Spring Water03:49 Tasting Gerolsteiner – Natural Mineral Water04:45 Tasting Louisville Pure Tap05:23 Exploring Water's Story and Flavor Profile

Ever wonder what actually happens between the Ohio River and the glass of water on your kitchen counter? In this episode of Thursday Thoughts, Bourbon Lens Studio heads to the Crescent Hill Water Treatment Plant to talk with Chris, Manager of Water Quality and Compliance for Louisville Water Company, about the science and chemistry behind every glass of Louisville tap water.Chris walks through the idea of a water "recipe" — how the Ohio River supplies raw water that changes day to day depending on sediment, minerals, and seasonal conditions. You'll learn why Louisville's water is naturally mineral-rich and calcium-carbonate heavy, and why the region's uniquely low iron content happens to be a major advantage for the local bourbon industry. The conversation breaks down the full treatment journey step by step: coagulation and sediment removal, on-site disinfection, pH adjustment with lime, filtration, and water storage — plus why disinfection is considered the single most critical process in protecting a million-plus customers from naturally occurring bacteria and pathogens. You'll discover:What a water "recipe" actually means and why every source is differentHow sediment from a massive watershed gets removed before it reaches your tapWhy disinfection is the top priority in water treatment, more than pollution eventsHow on-site bleach generation and residual disinfectant prevent bacterial regrowthWhy lime is added to raise pH and protect homes with lead or galvanized pipesHow certified, high-grade chemicals ensure treatment is safe and effectiveWhether you're curious about the science behind your tap water, interested in how it connects to Kentucky's bourbon industry, or just want a deeper appreciation for what happens before you turn on the faucet, this episode breaks it all down in an easy-to-follow conversation.Hashtags:#BourbonLens #ThursdayThoughts #LouisvilleWater #WaterTreatment #CrescentHill #TapWaterScience #DrinkingWaterSafety #OhioRiver #WaterQuality #KentuckyBourbon #WaterDisinfection #PublicHealth #LouisvilleKentucky #BourbonPodcast #WaterChemistry #CleanWater #KentuckyWater #BourbonCulture #WaterEngineering #InfrastructureMattersKeywords:water treatment process, Louisville Water Company, Crescent Hill Water Treatment Plant, tap water safety, drinking water disinfection, Ohio River water source, water quality compliance, mineral content in water, coagulation and filtration, pH adjustment lime, corrosion control lead pipes, Bourbon Lens podcast, Thursday Thoughts, Kentucky bourbon industry water, drinking water chemistry, Bourbon Lens, Bourbon Lens News

Some teachers have reading corners. Some have quiet corners. One brave educator looked at her classroom and decided what these children really needed was a designated fart corner. And that's where today's funny podcast begins. The concept is simple: if a kid needs to let one rip, they walk over to a specific corner of the classroom, handle their business, spray a little air freshener and quietly return to their seat while supposedly “nobody pays attention.”Sure.Because elementary school children are famously discreet and would NEVER keep a running leaderboard of who visited the fart corner the most. The crew immediately identifies several flaws in this educational breakthrough, including the unfortunate student whose desk is closest to ground zero, the acoustical advantages of ripping one near a wall, and the absolute certainty that some confident kid will turn the fart corner into Madison Square Garden. Moon also relives an eighth-grade fart incident involving a plastic chair, Trisha and a level of emotional damage that apparently survived well into adulthood. The lesson? It's not the fart. It's the confidence behind the fart. Then, because apparently science had nothing more urgent to solve, the show dives into a massive flatulence study involving thousands of participants and hundreds of thousands of logged farts. Men versus women. Peak farting hours. Historical fart estimates. And yes, “anal tracking devices,” a phrase we sincerely hope never appears on the company expense report.Rafe even revisits his proposed radio game involving everyone recording their own farts so listeners can guess whose is whose. Management's continued refusal to greenlight this important broadcasting innovation remains baffling.Thankfully, St. Louis Blues broadcaster Chris Kerber joins the show to restore professionalism. That lasts approximately four seconds.Kerber weighs in on fart-corner logistics, airflow, acoustics and the important parental responsibility of teaching your children to laugh at flatulence. Then the conversation shifts to how Chris managed to get himself kicked out of a University of Louisville parents Facebook group. His crime?Suggesting that a college student who wanted to know whether anyone downstairs was watching a football game could perhaps… walk downstairs and find out.Apparently this was too radical for the safe space. That launches a full discussion about helicopter parenting, college move-in season and parents asking Facebook whether their 18-year-old should wear a robe or a towel back from the dorm shower. Chris and Moon agree on a revolutionary parenting strategy: sometimes your adult child can figure stuff out.Rizz is preparing to take his 16-year-old to tour the University of Arkansas, so Kerber offers actual useful advice among the chaos: check out the dorms, investigate the dining options and pay attention to whether the campus simply feels right. The hockey talk continues with the newly unveiled St. Louis Blues promotional calendar, including the upcoming Rizz Show Night jacket, which might legitimately be one of the best giveaways the show has done. Kerber breaks down the limited nature of theme-night tickets, the upcoming shortened NHL preseason and the excitement building around the new season. Then listener emails take this funny podcast somewhere completely different.A former escort and sugar baby writes in after hearing the crew's previous conversations about dating for money and offers to answer their questions. Naturally, the room immediately generates approximately 700 of them. How much money? What was off-limits? Was sex always involved? How do repeat arrangements end? When do you tell a serious partner about that part of your past? Did you feel safe? Did you pay taxes?Rafe, meanwhile, wants to know whether there was a Groupon.Journalism.Another listener from Metro West Fire Protection District offers to help the crew with CPR training and car-seat installation, which somehow results in Rafe claiming he ordered a RealDoll to practice CPR. Lern immediately populates his imaginary house with Rhonda, Susan, Dolly and Reba, and now apparently Rafe hosts brunch for a collection of synthetic roommates. We're sorry too. Finally, the crew tackles a hypothetical: What if you could choose one food that your body would treat as perfectly healthy forever?Pasta enters the arena. Chocolate-chip cookies arrive, although Moon repeatedly describing his ideal cookie as “wet” and “sweaty” causes unnecessary suffering. Lern chooses cake. Rafe starts negotiating the definition of pasta. Donuts make a late push. Rizz eventually lands on pizza. The rules get debated harder than most federal legislation before the conversation arrives at the true battleground: National Potato Day.French fries? Tater tots? Hash browns? Sweet potatoes? Russets? And Rafe delivers perhaps the most important culinary observation of the episode:A tot is basically a hash-brown marshmallow. This funny podcast has fart science, college-parent chaos, Blues hockey, listener confessions, CPR, sweaty cookies and the opening shots of another Great Potato War.We never claimed this would make you smarter. We claimed it would make your commute weirder.Follow The Rizzuto Show → linktr.ee/rizzshow for more from your favorite daily comedy show.Connect with The Rizzuto Show Comedy Podcast online → 1057thepoint.com/RizzShow.Hear The Rizz Show daily on the radio at 105.7 The Point | Hubbard Radio in St. Louis, MO.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

KSL Sports BYU Insider Mitch Harper starts today's show from the practice fields after another eventful day at BYU football fall camp. Day 11 took place Tuesday at the Student-Athlete Building, where media were allowed to watch the final 20 minutes. Mitch shares his observations from the media window — who flashed, which position battles are tightening up, and how the Cougars are shaping up entering the final stretch before the September 5 opener against Utah Tech. With BYU checking in at No. 14 in the preseason AP Top 25, the expectations are real, and the on-field product at practice is reflecting that. Then Mitch pivots to the hardwood, where the 5-in-5 eligibility injunctions have turned BYU basketball's roster construction into one of the most fascinating storylines in college hoops. A temporary restraining order in California allows for Michigan State big man Jaxon Kohler to be able to enter the portal and have another year of college eligibility. Could BYU get him? The American Fork, Utah, native who started for Tom Izzo and played in the Utah Jazz Summer League is considering Kansas, Kentucky, Louisville, and BYU for his fifth year. Mitch breaks down how the injunction works, why the transfer portal rules add another layer of complexity, and what landing Kohler would mean for a BYU basketball team building around Rob Wright, Bruce Branch III, and Collin Chandler. Owen Strachan: You Can't Outwork Anxiety | Coach Me Up with Jimmy Dykes & Chris BurkeYou can't grind your way out of anxiety. That's the message from Dr. Owen Strachan — theologian, author, and Director of One Gospel — as Jimmy and Chris open year five of the podcast with a conversation that hits everybody, believer or not.Owen's new book, A Call to Cultivate, digs into why anxiety has skyrocketed in a world that promised technology would make life easier. He unpacks the "hamster wheel" we all step onto when we're afraid, why men so rarely admit they feel it, and the practical habits that actually move the needle instead of just making you busier.Jimmy asks the question a lot of high performers are afraid to ask out loud: can we outwork anxiety? Chris brings it to the field — what he learned about worst-case scenarios after getting to the big leagues, and why he doesn't actually want his kids' games to go perfectly. And Owen gets brutally honest about being a dad: he can't remove a single weed from his daughter's path, and pretending otherwise is the problem. Also in this one: growing up 5'7" in Maine, Stephen King buying his high school basketball team's uniforms, the "divine Wi-Fi," and the 32-minutes-of-heck defense he coached last season in Louisville.Owen's book, A Call to Cultivate: Overcome Anxiety by Thriving Where God Plants You:https://www.amazon.com/Call-Cultivate-Overcome-Anxiety-Thriving/dp/1510786597Listen to Owen's podcast, Grace & Truth:https://salempodcastnetwork.com/podcasts/grace-truth-with-owen-strachanAs always, we thank our title sponsor https://onecountry.com for making this podcast possible — catch every episode on the OneCountry app — and https://konexial.com for their continued support of the show.COACH ME UP TEAMhttps://onecountry.comhttps://konexial.comFollow us on Twitter:https://twitter.com/CoachJimmyDykeshttps://twitter.com/ChrisBurke02•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••Hosted by Jimmy Dykes and Chris BurkeProduced by Jared Mark Fincher — https://jaredmarkfincher.comAll audio is subject to copyright 2026 Jimmy Dykes Inc.Contact us at coachmeuppodcast@gmail.com
