Whatever you do … don't make the black women mad. That must be Nike's new mission statement, as the world's most recognizable sportswear brand bows to A'ja Wilson and the rest of the “yaas queens.” Jason is baffled by Nike's decision to sideline Caitlin Clark — the WNBA's clear meal ticket — and instead award a signature shoe to Wilson. According to Jason, Nike is signaling to the world that they company would rather lose money than upset the black matriarchy. Steve Kim joins the show to weigh in on the Nike-A'ja Wilson controversy, as well as Pete Rose's possible future induction into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame. The two also discuss the absurd price tag on watching the NFL in today's streaming era. On average, football fans have to shell out $1,500 just to access all 18 weeks of the 2025 regular season. Is there a solution to this growing problem? After the show, head over to "Jason Whitlock Harmony," where Jason and T.J. There is much debate as to who should've been inducted into the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame in 2022. Many from the steroid era are being shut out for the final time. It could be argued that this is due to an individual player's lack of truth and integrity. Christians may not have a Hall of Fame, but we do have a Hebrew Hall of Faith. All of those who've been inducted into the Hebrew Hall of Faith have one thing in common, faith in the truth & integrity of the promised Messiah! Join us this Sunday as we discover the faith of Abraham, Sarah, Isaac, Jacob, David and many others in our sermon, "Faith Over the World," from Hebrews 11:23-40.

Welcome in Slumpbusters! On this episode of the Slumpbuster Podcast, Ju-Ju & Kyle give you the latest up to date information in the world of the NFL & NBA. The Major League Baseball Hall of Fame had its annual vote this past Tuesday to elect the 2022 Inductees. For the tenth straight year, Roger Clemens and Barry Bonds will be denied that privilege. Bonds captured only 66% and Clemens got 65%. David Ortiz was the lone player to receive the 75% necessary to be inducted. Is it hypocritical for the BBWAA to elect Ortiz over Bonds given both have a history to PEDs? #BarryBonds When the Lakers first acquired Anthony David to pair with Lebron James they imagined a dynasty in the making. Three years later and with Davis returning from another injury people wonder how long the experiment will last. A anonymous Western Conference general manager has linked James to the Philadelphia 76ers. In this scenario James would join Joel Embiid and Kawhi Leonard to form a new super team in Philly. Does this rumor hold any weight? #76ers Sean Payton announced his retirement vacating the job in New Orleans. Will Payton find his back with an another NFL franchise in the near future. Payton has long been linked with the Dallas Cowboys. Can Jerry Jones convince Payton to be the next Cowboys coach? #DallasCowboys Aaron Rodgers entered the 2021 season with a 'Last Dance' backdrop. Following another disappointing run speculation about Rodgers future reappear. Will Rodgers be the next Denver Broncos quarterback? Steelers quarterback? or land back in Green Bay? #AaronRodgers Recorded: Wednesday, January 26, 2022 Host: Julian "Ju-Ju" Martinez Ig & Twitter: @jujutalkssports Kyle Ledbetter Take It Easy Podcast Ig: @kyle.ledbetter619 | Twitter: @CSM_MemeInsta Social Media: Ig: @slumpbusterpodcast | Twitter: @slumpbusterpod Website: https://www.theslumpbuster.com/

Stars… They're just like us! Even though Nick Swisher is an MLB World Series Champion and successful Fox Sports Analyst, he has struggled with adversity and overcoming major obstacles that could have negatively affected his career and personal life had he not developed a mindset that allowed him to persevere. He was able to find another another way up the mountain because if know Nick Swisher, then you know he's the kind of guy who loves life. Even when dealing with challenges, he stays focused on what drives him, like how much he loves his family and of course baseball! His passion and positive attitude is always turned on. And it isn't an act, that's the authentic Nick Swisher! In this episode, Nick tells us how hard work and passion for the game of baseball took him all the way to the New York Yankees and even a 2021 nomination to the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame. He admits some of his fears of having a family full of women, and how he learned (and even researched!) how to be the best father, husband, son, and grandson he could be. It was advice from a coach early in his career, that really set him up for his journey, giving him permission to lose the pressure and instead, enjoy the game. And even though he's retired from playing, that mindset has set him on a path to inspire young players as well as anyone else who will listen. . . . . . .Receive more Nick Swisher:MLB - https://www.mlb.com/player/nick-swisher-430897Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/nickswisherTwitter - @NickSwisherInstagram - @yourboyswishTik Tok - @yourboyswishMentioned in this episode:Strong Fathers Strong Daughters, by Meg MeekerBelieve, by Nick Swisher Anthony Robin's Books

Kimmy Yam from NBC Asian America published an interesting article this morning. She made the assertion that Major League Baseball has a clear bias against Asian players...because there isn't one Asian player in the baseball Hall-of-Fame. She makes the case for Hideo Nomo...players like Ichiro Suzuki...and claims Major League Baseball past history is the reason Asians are excluded. We bust through this myth...and provide the REAL reason there isn't an Asian player in the Major League Baseball Hall-of-Fame. We also explain that Kimmy Yam either wrote this article for attention...or didn't do her research.

Edward and Wes recap a frenetic New Year's Day in the Barclays Premiere League, followed by a rather dull and drab FA Cup weekend, along with a peak at the January transfer market. The guys also discuss the college football playoff, Major League Baseball Hall of Fame voting, and have a So Raw whose pace could only be matched by DeAndre Yedlin. España!
