Dale Jr. and Amy are back with another episode of Bless Your ‘Hardt, and this one takes plenty of unexpected turns. The two talk about Dale Sr.'s intimidating presence at home, including a story from one of Dale Jr.'s childhood hunting trips that proves you couldn't get much past his dad. They also recap a wild Costco trip that somehow ends with a new water cooler, talk about questionable grocery-store samples and debate the proper way to eat at a restaurant bar. Then Dale shares the embarrassing story of running out of gas while picking up the girls, Amy reveals what happened when she had to pump gas on the farm, and the crew discusses whether guys actually know when they're being hit on. Plus, Halloween planning begins as Dale and Amy try to settle on a superhero costume, with Batman, Robin, Cat Woman, He-Man and the Incredible Hulk all entering the conversation. It's another round of random stories, family chaos and plenty of laughs. Check out Dirty Mo Media on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@DirtyMoMedia Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company.

This week, the CREEP-O-RAMA crew dives face-first into Tim Burton's Batman (1989) and Batman Returns (1992), and what begins as a thoughtful retrospective immediately crashes through the roof of Wayne Manor like the Batwing after somebody gave Bruce four Red Bulls and a head injury. We celebrate Michael Keaton's legendary Batman, Jack Nicholson's gloriously deranged Joker, Danny DeVito's sewer-goblin Penguin, and Michelle Pfeiffer's absolutely untouchable Catwoman while asking the questions Warner Bros. cowards were too afraid to answer: Who was strapping military-grade rocket launchers onto penguins? Alfred? Did Gotham's OSHA office simply burst into flames before construction began? Why is there an abandoned Arctic theme park hidden beneathGotham City, and why did literally nobody notice it? Why does Batman own enough surveillance equipment to make the NSA blush but still can't turn his own neck? Why is every vat of acid sitting completely uncovered like it's complimentary office coffee?  We spiral into increasingly unhinged theories about Catwomanactually being a zombie resurrected by emotionally supportive alley cats, Bruce Wayne secretly importing six cases of champagne from Japan just because he's rich enough to be legally confusing, and Batman patiently sitting alone in thedark for hours waiting for Commissioner Gordon to finally flip on the Bat-Signal like a Labrador waiting for someone to throw the tennis ball.  Along the way we compare Burton's gothic masterpiece tolater takes from Christopher Nolan and Matt Reeves, argue over Joker's ever-changing origin story, defend the comic-book insanity of Burton's universe, declare that the rocket-pack penguins somehow feature better underwater cinematography than Jaws 3-D (1983), and accidentally spend an alarming amount of time debating Batman's nipples, rubber cowl strength modifiers, VHS surveillance technology, and whether Gotham's building inspectors were simply paid in riddles. Look. It's Batman, We're GOING to passionately overanalyzetwo of our favorite films until the conversation evolves into Alfred operating a black-market military contractor ring out of Wayne Manor. Jace and Rocky break down all 13 DC releases for the week of July 15, 2026. Nightwing #140 brings Psycho Pirate into Dan Watters' Blüdhaven mystery by tying the city's violence to Medusa architecture instead of the Medusa Mask. Wonder Woman #35 works as a Wonder War interlude that retells Diana's origin through Steve Trevor explaining Wonder Woman's history to Trinity. End of Life #6 has Eddie Stallion try to leave Pluto before his reunion with Sophie convinces him to stay while the Menagerie's assassins keep closing in. Batwoman #5 has Kate Kane rescue Alice by removing her mask and reaching her sister directly, while Mother Despina warns that winning may still mean losing. Deathstroke: The Terminator #5 reveals the person behind the attacks on Slade and ends with a threat to Rose Wilson that she may not survive. Absolute Flash #17 ends the Gorilla City story in tragic fashion with the young Grodd caught between loyalty to his father and his bond with Wally. Batman/Superman: World's Finest #53 highlights Dick Grayson's skills as he tries to break Batman and Superman free from Tyrannus Rex's control in Skartaris. Dark Knights of Steel 2 #1 expands the medieval DC world beyond the original kingdoms as Kara is welcomed into Amazonia, Batman remains separated from the League, and Amanda Waller's secret villainy continues to hang over the larger story. New Titans #37 hints at Static joining the team while giving Kid Devil more spotlight and continuing Spoiler's rise into a stronger leadership role. Lobo #5 has the network ordered to bring Lobo back, only for the executive to put a contract on him and send Lip Bomb after the Main Man. Catwoman #89 pushes Selina deeper into her Gotham war with Black Mask while bringing her connection to Carmine Falcone closer to outright confirmation. Superman Unlimited #15 builds on the Ultra Boy reveal by showing Jon Kent's faith in him pay off, while Superwoman's arrival keeps the Earth-3 story from ending cleanly. Absolute Green Arrow #3 shifts further into Black Canary's investigation as the issue reveals Miraclo, Rex Tyler and anti-aging experiments tied to the billionaires being targeted. AwesomeCast 787 gets practical, futuristic and increasingly strange as Sorg, Katie Dudas and Dave Podnar explore family-safe phones, connected health gadgets, USB-C mysteries, robotic limbs, Instagram's latest AI privacy controversy and Fortnite's revealing new take on the DC Universe. Sorg also begins downloading the iOS 27 public beta during the show, despite Katie's warnings and a few concerns being saved for the Patreon aftertalk. Stories and Gadgets Discussed A wireless microphone saves the podcast: When Dave's regular microphone setup breaks, he switches to a compact dual wireless microphone system that connects through USB-C. The plug-and-play backup works with phones and laptops without a complicated setup. Omron 7 Series Bluetooth blood pressure monitor: Dave reviews a new connected blood pressure monitor after getting inconsistent readings from an older device. He highlights its larger arm cuff, support for two users, storage for multiple readings, three-reading averages, Apple Health integration and the ability to export results for a doctor. https://amzn.to/4yncwxY Pinwheel phones, watches and home phones for kids: Katie introduces Pinwheel's managed technology ecosystem for children and teenagers. Parents and caregivers can control approved contacts, monitor texts, restrict social media, set bedtime schedules, review locations and gradually unlock features as a child gets older. The company also offers a standalone smartwatch and a Wi-Fi-powered corded home phone that brings back the satisfaction of dramatically hanging up. https://www.pinwheel.com Kennywood's reopening and the mystery bag gamble: Sorg recounts a delayed visit to Kennywood after a water-main break interrupted opening day. His $5 mystery merchandise bag produced a Kennywood gaiter, a vintage postcard and a Jack Rabbit 100th-anniversary pin. Awesome Person of the Week — Rory Cooper: For Disability Pride Month, Dave profiles inventor, engineer and Paralympic medalist Rory Cooper. After becoming paralyzed while serving in the military, Cooper designed a lighter wheelchair and built a career improving mobility technology. His Pittsburgh work includes the Human Engineering Research Laboratories, a collaboration involving the University of Pittsburgh and the Department of Veterans Affairs. https://www.invent.org/inductees/rory-cooper WhatCable diagnoses confusing USB-C connections: Sorg tests a free Mac utility that reveals what connected USB-C cables, chargers, docks and ports can actually do. The app displays negotiated speeds, charging details, supported USB standards and potential bottlenecks—useful for anyone wondering why a drive, monitor or video device is underperforming. https://www.whatcable.uk/ LEGO's Fast & Furious Toyota Supra MK4: Katie finds a new LEGO Speed Champions version of Brian O'Conner's Toyota Supra from The Fast and the Furious. The set includes the bright orange movie car and a Brian O'Conner minifigure in his signature T-shirt and jeans. https://www.lego.com/en-us/product/the-fast-and-the-furious-toyota-supra-mk4-77260 Speed and racing technology at the Carnegie Science Center: The hosts preview an upcoming speed-focused exhibit featuring an interactive track and specialized vehicles connected to the Petersen Automotive Museum. https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1PZqTmHP4J/?mibextid=wwXIfr Using AI to teach respectful sports camera work: The team examines guidelines designed to prevent women athletes from being sexualized through revealing angles and unnecessary slow-motion replays. Sorg discusses turning the concept into an AI-generated pro wrestling camera guide that can help videographers recognize respectful framing, understand consent and avoid exploitative shots. https://www.reddit.com/r/interestingasfuck/comments/1uwaxzx/some_of_the_new_guidelines_that_have_been/ Instagram reverses its public-profile AI remix feature: Dave explains the backlash surrounding a Meta AI feature that could use images from public Instagram profiles in AI creations without first requiring users to opt in. The hosts discuss predictable abuse, privacy risks and why technology companies need more diverse voices involved before launching features like this. Or so we're led to believe. As Allied planes mysteriously explode in midair across Europe, rumors of a Nazi superweapon compel the U.S. to send its fastest asset undercover: the Rocketeer! With Betty posing as a defecting American actress in a German motion picture, Cliff Secord, a.k.a. the Rocketeer, accompanies as her brother and manager. And since neither has experience in deep-cover work, the Allies send a handler to support them—a debonair MI6 agent who assumes the role of Betty's co-star. The Rocketeer will need to maintain his cover, destroy a superweapon no Allied agent has actually seen, and keep Betty away from the handsome British secret agent with a penchant for beautiful women. It's a lot for a reckless stunt pilot to handle! The new Gotham is cleaner, safer…and a lot less free, under the watchful eye of Mayor Harvey Dent and his Batcops. Horror history gets iconic, aquatic, gothic, apocalyptic, and completely unhinged this week as This Week in Horror History travels through June 15–21 with motel terror, shark sequels, dark superhero nightmares, zombie blockbuster chaos, and one wild space-vampire cult classic that brings cosmic horror crashing down on Earth. This episode digs into a packed week of classic horror movies, cult horror, summer blockbusters, gothic comic-book horror, zombie disaster cinema, and 1980s Cannon Films madness, including the New York premiere of Psycho, the U.S. release of Jaws 2, the theatrical arrival of Batman Returns, the blockbuster zombie outbreak of World War Z, and the Deep-Cut Spotlight on Tobe Hooper's bizarre 1985 space vampire epic Lifeforce.Inside this episode:• Psycho rewrites the rules of horror moviegoing, turns the Bates Motel into a nightmare landmark, and makes one ordinary shower one of the most famous crime scenes in cinema.• Jaws 2 drags audiences back to Amity Island for more shark terror, seaside panic, and one of horror's most frustrating “nobody believes the guy who is right” sequel setups.• Batman Returns transforms Gotham into a twisted Christmas horror fairy tale full of sewer lairs, circus gangs, stitched leather, abandoned children, corporate monsters, Catwoman, and the Penguin.• World War Z reimagines the zombie apocalypse as global disaster cinema, with the undead moving less like slow corpses and more like a rushing human flood.• The Deep-Cut Spotlight goes to Lifeforce, Tobe Hooper's strange, ambitious, and deeply excessive Cannon Films cult classic about Halley's Comet, alien vampires, life-draining seduction, plague victims, and London falling apart under cosmic horror.Plus: a horror birthday roll featuring Courteney Cox, Laurie Metcalf, John Carl Buechler, and Nicole Kidman, a creepy look at how horror became a massive summer marketing event, and a weekly recommendation for Hammer's Dracula, also known as Horror of Dracula, starring Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing. From Norman Bates and shark-infested beaches to Gotham monsters, zombie swarms, Halley's Comet, space vampires, Hammer horror, and Cannon Films insanity, this week proves horror history can be classic, blockbuster-sized, cult, strange, seductive, and absolutely impossible to ignore.

Yes, this is another full spoilers conversation. So, if you haven't read the comic yet, press pause, go do so, and hit us up when you're done. You've previously heard Grayson's co-writer Scott Snyder say on Comic Book Couples Counseling that Absolute Catwoman is the Batman of this universe. She's got the money. She's got the butler. She's got the gadgets. And, now, with Absolute Catwoman #1, we see she's got the Cat Family. How does that actually work, though? We get into it with Che Grayson. But first, we must discuss Comic-Con season. It's here. HeroesCon is this weekend. Not only can you attend and meet Che Grayson and Scott Snyder (as well as a whole bunch of other Absolute creators), you can also attend our Live Podcast Recording with Kyle Starks and Chris Schweizer. We'll be discussing their unique creative friendship as well as their collaborations (Mars Attacks, The Six Sidekicks of Trigger Keaton). If you're attending HeroesCon, make sure you're in Room 207CD at 3:30 PM on Friday, June 12th. If you can't attend, don't worry, that event will arrive in your podcast feeds next Wednesday. You may have heard that Absolute Catwoman #1 also serves as a springboard for the Absolute Cassandra Cain one-shot, also written by Che Grayson with art by Matias Bergara. Yup, keep your ears peeled to this week's podcast, we talk all about Cain and how she fits into Selina's Cat Family. Absolute Catwoman #1 is in shops as of today. It's written by Che Grayson and Scott Snyder, illustrated by Bengal, colored by Giovanna Niro, and lettered by Lucas Gattoni. Follow Che Grayson on Instagram and their Website. What was your approach to making this version of Selina feel immediately distinct from page one? This Selina feels very self-made, with high-tech gear and a life she's built outside Gotham. What interested you about exploring her at that stage in her life? The Absolute Universe already introduced Selina in Absolute Batman. How did you approach taking an established version of the character and expanding her into her own series? Speaking of collaboration, how do you and Scott split the writing duties? Are you breaking story together, or does one of you take the lead in certain areas? Bengal's art really sells the motion and the tech, especially in action scenes. How closely are you working with him in terms of visual storytelling, and were there any sequences you were especially excited to see him bring to life? The Calicos are a really intriguing addition, with that more classic Catwoman-inspired look. What can you tease about their role in Selina's past and how they shape who she is now? This version of Selina has some bold new elements, including her enhanced gear and abilities. Without spoiling too much, how far are you planning to push what Catwoman can be in the Absolute Universe?
