On this episode, continuing with the Mayhem series with May the Devil Take You (2018). This Indonesian horror film has shades of Evil Dead, The Exorcist and Poltergeist but somehow has a lot of originality and uniqueness. Come listen to what happens when you make a deal with the Devil, open a door that should be left alone and having to fight your family members literally to death. Shortish and spoiler free for your earballs. The artist on my podcast playlist is Tricky. Game Over! tee in profile pic by DethInk Tees. https://dethink.bigcartel.com/product/game-over-man-game-over

Vi pratar också om: Red Screening, The Last Matinee, Cassandra Khaw, Nothing but Blackened Teeth, V Castro, Goddess of Filth, Mestiza Blood, Spår, Creepypodden, Ramsey Campbell, The Parasite, Mats Strandberg, Konferensen, Grady Hendrix, The Final Girl Support Group, Richard Chizmar, Chasing the Boogeyman, Stephen Graham Jones, My Heart Is a Chainsaw, John Ajvide Lindqvist, Vänligheten, Karin och Abel, Johannes Pinter, Karmakoma, Fredrik P Winter, Olycksfåglar, Vikarien, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, Vera Farmiga, Patrick Wilson, Candyman, The Night House, David Buckner, The Ritual, Hellraiser, The Power, Corinna Faith, Sara Bergmark Elfgren, Grim, Grävlingen, Things Heard & Seen, All Things Cease to Appear, Elizabeth Brundage, Emanuel Swedenborg, Skräcken på Wakenhyrst, Scream, There's Someone Inside Your House, Patick Brice, Creep, Wes Craven, V/H/S 94, Timo Tjahjanto, Macabre, May the Devil Take You, Halloween Kills, David Gordon Green, Danny McBride, Vicious Fun, Horror in the High Desert, Lamb, Noomi Rapace, Wrong Turn, Censor, Squid Game, Don Coscarelli, Psycho Goreman, Steven Kostanski, The Void, The Advent Calender, Antlers, Scott Cooper, Crazyheart, Out of the Furnace, Black Mass, The Vigil, Midnight in Paris, Last Night in Soho, Edgar Wright, Shaun of the Dead, Legatum: arvet, Johan Sehlstedt, Quentin Tarantino, I död och lust, The Trip, I onde dager, Tommy Wirkola, Död snö, Old, M. Shyamalan, Gustaf Hammarsten, No One Gets Out Alive, Adam Neville, His House, The Feast, Anders Fager, Ingemar Fredmans epistlar, Caveat, Possum, Malignant, Black Mirror, Come True, Hellbound, The Silent Sea, Mike Flanagan, Midnight Mass, Salems Lot, Tre kronor, The sacrament, Brand New Cherry Flavour, Catherine Keener, Get Out, Willys Wonderland, Nicholas Cage, Titane, Julia Ducournau, Raw, A Quiet Place II, Sator, Blood Red Sky, Fried Barry, In the Earth, Ben Wheatley, Killist, A Field in England, For the Sake of Vicious, Don´t Breathe 2, Ghostbusters: Afterlife, Surge, Ben Whishaw, Slaxx, Fear Street, Saint Maud och självklart lite om Skräckkokboken, men inte nödvändigtvis i den ordningen.

Vi pratar också om: Daniel Garptoft, The Night Comes for Us, Primitf, Primitives, Savage Terror, Eaten Alive!, Kraftwerk, Satan's Slaves, The Queen of Black Magic, Ruggero Deodato, Cannibal, Jungle Holocaust, Ultimo Mondo Cannibale, Mountain of the Cannibal God, Gudarna måste vara tokiga, Den sista färden, Deliverence, Noël Carroll, Motorsågsmassakern, The Slayer, The Slaughter, Lonely Planet, Jean-Michel Jarre, Timo Tjahjanto, Evil Dead, Anything for Jackson, Drag Me to Hell, Ash vs Evil Dead, Dallas, Lights Out, Andra sidan, James Wan, Blind Guardian, Under skuggan, Djinn, Joko Anwar, Exorcisten, House by the Cemetery, Jurtjyrkogården, The Conjuring, Hereditary, Stephen King, A Tale of Two Sisters, The Omen, Besökarna, The Ring, Rosemary's Baby, Faust, Skräckkokboken och Mats Strandberg.

It’s the very 32nd episode of Forsaken Cinema Podcast!!! This week we discuss “May the Devil Take You, Too”, the sequel to the 2018 film by the same name (minus Too). While it didn’t quite hold up on all fronts to the first, we did thoroughly enjoy most of it’s chaotic “Evil Dead” vibes, it’s plentiful gore, and it’s better than typical execution of several possession movie tropes. We also take a deep dive into Steven King’s “Dreamcatcher”. And, while Melissa remains a stark apologist for this 2003 film, Chuck has a couple questions regarding the writing, the dialogue, and a certain set of eyebrows. Though neither of your hosts can disagree on it being absolutely entertaining, not easily forgettable, and a must see horror movie. This one’s a tad short, but you do get to hear quite a bit from a certain furry good boy. We hope you freaks dig it!!! ——— Also discussed: “Leviathan” 1989 “The Thing” 1983 “Leprechaun 5: In the Hood” 2000 ——— If you dig the show, PLEASE! Oh and we're talking an extremely dank 2018 Indonesian horror movie called May the Devil Take You. If you'd like to get caught up before joining us, the movie is streaming on Netflix. For the rest of you, tune in and hear us talk about a full-on Sam Raimi-worshipping, blood-vomiting, fingernail-ripping, jump scaring, rooting AND tooting horror film. We're talking about the rules of making a deal with the devil, when to get out the dang house, and what we think Chekov's Gun is. Bonus: If you dig this movie, the sequel is out THIS WEEK. Music featured on this ‘sode: Adzes – Wildflowers Don’t forget to rate, review, and subscribe to Toilet Radio on iTunes so you’ll get new episodes automatically. Oder die Best-of-Coen-Brüder-Show "The Ballad of Buster Scruggs". May the Devil Take You" raus.
