Join Oliver Dolby as he unlocks the ancient portal to healing through the forgotten Left-Handed Path of Isis. In this powerful soul transmission, we journey through the corrupted rituals of ancient Egypt, the rise of divine feminine energy, and the multidimensional healing that takes place when we reclaim our place at the center of creation. ✨ Are the pyramids just tombs—or spiritual machines for consciousness expansion? ✨ Can past-life trauma echo through the body in this lifetime? ✨ What happens when the goddess Isis awakens you… and demands your transformation? This is not your typical New Age dialogue. This is a reckoning with the misuse of sacred power, the distortion of masculine archetypes, and a call to spiritual sovereignty in an age of awakening. 00:00:00 – The Pyramid Within: Ancient Tools & Corrupted Power 00:04:53 – Reworking Ancient Rituals for the 21st Century 00:09:46 – The Left-Handed Path of Isis: Feminine Awakening Begins 00:14:39 – Healing Through the Divine Feminine & the Wounded Masculine 00:19:32 – From Suffering to Center: Embodying Infinite Reality 00:24:25 – Remembering Egypt: Sacrifice, Power & Past-Life Trauma 00:29:18 – Distortion in Egyptian Magic: From Enlightenment to Control 00:34:11 – Isis Returns: Facing False Gods, Ego Death & Awakening 00:39:04 – Leaving Old Orders: Breaking Free from Spiritual Control 00:43:57 – The Hard Path of Light: Why We Chose the Storm Presented by Oliver Dolby: Originally from South Africa and now based in London, Oliver has spent 25 years on a journey of healing and self-discovery. What happens when data knows us better than we know ourselves? In this raw and riveting conversation, John Vervaeke and Christopher Mastropietro sit down with Andy Russell — a former architect of data-driven persuasion — to expose how AI, behavioral profiling, and social media algorithms can hijack human desire, threaten our agency, and reshape our civilization. But there's hope: what if the same power that manipulates us can be used to heal us? This episode lays bare the disturbing origins of persuasion tech, how it was used in politics and commerce, and what it will mean when AI takes the driver's seat. Andy shares his personal reckoning, his brush with death, and how he's dedicating the rest of his life to restoring dignity and meaning to the human experience — with spiritual urgency. Andy Russell is a serial entrepreneur and former insider in data and media technology. After helping build some of the very tools that now shape persuasion online, he experienced a profound moral and existential crisis. He now advocates for radical transparency, decentralized AI, and human-centered design as a pathway toward societal healing. Christopher Mastropietro is a philosophical writer who is fascinated by dialogue, symbols, and the concept of self. He actively contributes to the Vervaeke Foundation. Sundae Labs aims to build tools and systems that foster a healthier relationship between humanity and technology. Join us for a powerful Lenten sermon, "From Suffering to Glory", based on Luke 20:9-20. As we journey toward Holy Week, Jesus' Parable of the Wicked Tenants reveals a profound truth: the path to glory runs through suffering. Christ, the rejected Son, became the Cornerstone of our salvation through His suffering, death, and resurrection. This sermon explores how God's plan of redemption turns defeat into victory, calling us to repentance, faith, and trust in His promises.Discover how this parable applies to our lives today. Are we rejecting God's authority? Are we clinging to self-rule rather than surrendering to Christ? Learn how Christ's suffering transforms our trials, and how following Him leads us from suffering into eternal glory.
In this episode of Beyond Trauma, mindfulness and meditation teacher Mark Coleman explores the deep connection between the natural world and meditation. We discuss the history of nature-based contemplative practices, the difference between concentration and awareness meditation, and how the elements can support our personal growth. Mark shares why practicing meditation outdoors can enhance mindfulness, how nature fosters a deeper sense of self, and what to do if you don't have access to outdoor spaces. We also confront a common dilemma—how to process the guilt of not doing enough to protect the environment while still finding joy and presence in nature. You will learn: *The difference between concentration meditation and awareness meditation *How the elements can support and deepen your meditation practice *Why meditating outside may feel more easeful and natural than meditating indoors *How nature helps awaken the senses and cultivate a more connected sense of self *Ways to use nature to aid in trauma recovery *Practical ways to bring nature into your meditation when you can't be outside *The role of mindfulness in navigating eco-anxiety and environmental guilt *How to walk through the natural world with greater reverence and respect Mark has trained extensively both in the Insight meditation and Tibetan tradition. He is a senior teacher at Spirit Rock Meditation Center and has taught insight meditation retreats since 1997. Mark is passionate about guiding people to meditate in nature. He has led wilderness nature retreats for over twenty years worldwide. Through his organization Awake in the Wild Mark leads year-long nature meditation teacher trainings in the US and Europe. Coleman suggests that we take our meditation practice outside. This can move us from an interior-focused self-referential world to one of connecting with the living web that is our ecosystem. He often asks the question of his students: As you are a part of the Earth, what is an effective way to live your life that's an expression of care for the Earth, which is also yourself? Mark Coleman is a mindfulness meditation teacher who has been teaching Insight meditation and nature retreats worldwide since 1997. He regularly leads wilderness retreats through his organization, Awake in the Wild, where he introduces others to nature-based meditation practices. These retreats include a wide variety of contemplative activities like hiking, backpacking, forest bathing, kayaking, river rafting, cross-country skiing, rowing, canoeing, and more. PEG Conversation With Michelle Reittinger: Advocating for a radical shift in the treatment of bipolar to facilitate healing and recovery. From Suffering to Thriving-How to Heal Bipolar Disorder. Biography Having been diagnosed with bipolar in 1998, Michelle spent the next 12 years on a roller coaster of manic and depressive episodes with therapists, doctors, psychotropic meds, hospitalizations, and suicide attempts. She was at her wit's end and felt humiliated, hopeless and lost. In particular, she was devastated by the toll it took on her family-her husband and small children. Finally, she and her psychiatrist found a solution that became a turning point in her story. She began the process of developing an integrated method for understanding this devastating disorder and successfully treating it. Michelle advocates for a radical shift in the treatment of bipolar to facilitate healing and recovery. She is all about accepting responsibility for yourself and overcoming the victimhood mentality that so often accompanies bipolar disorder. She teaches an integrated, research-based treatment model that addresses the underlying causes of bipolar symptoms and allows people to heal. Etienne de Bruin is a visionary community builder, successful startup founder, and accomplished author. Overcoming personal struggles and adversity, he has channeled his experience into creating an emotionally intelligent community for CTOs called 7CTOs, now with 300 members globally. In addition to leading this thriving community, Etienne penned the impactful book, CTO Excellence in 100 Days, where he articulates the essence of heart-centered leadership and empathetic networking. With his sights set firmly on the future, Etienne - along with host Barry O'Reilly - is also co-founder of Nobody Studios, an innovative venture studio with the audacious ambition of launching 100 companies over the next five years. In this episode of the Unlearn Podcast, Etienne joins Barry to share his journey of self-discovery and discuss the importance of having a compelling 'why', the challenges and opportunities of building a successful startup, as well as insights from his book. From Suffering to Service Etienne opens up about his early struggles, touching on a particularly dark phase of depression. He was able to find the “seed of a greater purpose” in the “crucible of suffering.” He shares an anecdote, saying, “I was sitting in a hot tub, looking at the mountains, and I had a sudden realization of privilege… It motivated me to find ways to solve inequality issues creatively." This realization prompted him to establish an emotionally intelligent community for CTOs. Behind the Scene of CTO Excellence in 100 Days Etienne's journey didn't stop there. He recounts his experience writing the book CTO Excellence in 100 Days, a practical guide focusing on heart-centered leadership and empathetic networking. In it, he aims to support new and existing CTOs to better integrate within their organization and form stronger relationships. It is a blueprint for leaders who want to effect meaningful change in their organizations. Quoting from his book, Etienne emphasizes, "In the first 100 days, a leader must focus not on showcasing technical prowess, but understanding what the company needs.” This phase sets the tone and style of their leadership. Becoming a Sponge Leads to Success Discussing lessons in leadership and technological excellence, Etienne underlines the importance of pacing and being receptive to learning. Leaders should not rush to show all their cards at once but should instead display patience, taking the time to understand their team, the organization, and the challenges it faces. They should also ensure they gradually make their mark, avoiding an overwhelming influx of changes that could cause disarray and discomfort. As he puts it, "We must transition from being a showcase of knowledge to becoming a sponge, absorbing information from others around us." Barry echoes this sentiment, adding, "Knowledge isn't just about speaking; it's about listening and absorbing." This may involve setting aside their own ego or technical inclinations and adopting new approaches or solutions that align with the organization's requirements. Looking Ahead Etienne shares his aspiration to spark a revolution in the way we validate business ideas. Through Nobody Studios, he aims to foster a conducive ecosystem for startups, making it faster, more accessible, and less risky for entrepreneurs to transform their ideas into reality. Etienne's future plans include writing more books for CTOs and developing an organization called "Every Dev'' for developers at every stage of their career. There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God. But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. Sonship Through the Spirit Therefore, brethren, we are debtors—not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together. From Suffering to Glory For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body. For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance. Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified. God's Everlasting Love What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Let it reveal the peace that always is. Let it bring self-understanding, self-knowing, ego un-knowing, and revolution. Let it empower, illumine, heal, and awaken those that are suffering with AIDS, AIDS Consciousness, death, fear, or any limitation. When we love ourselves fully and harness the wisdom of the heart anything seems possible. Valeria Teles interviews Richard Schooping — the author of “From Suffering to Soaring: Through God I Transcended AIDS.” Richard Schooping was born in Maitland, Florida – a small suburb north of Orlando. He was born into a family of musicians. His grandfather was a minister and stroke survivor for the Presbyterian Church who wrote hymns for the church. Richard's father was an accomplished jazz musician who played piano, wrote his own scores, and had his own band that played on the Space Coast in the 60's through the 80's. It was only natural to Richard to become musically inclined as well. Richard's mother introduced him to language and theater, where he was awarded children's singing roles in local musical productions; Oliver, The Music Man, were just some of the few musicals in which he sang. Richard was diagnosed in 1993 with AIDS after his third partner passed and he took HIV medications on and off for several years. Medications back then were more toxic (AZT) and so powerful they put Richard in dark mental places with severe psychical side effects. AIDS, at that time was defined as having less than less 450 t-cells. On his healing journey, Richard was called within to an Eastern perspective – meditations, yoga, and peacefulness. And for several years he did quite well. But a series of accidents and illnesses slowly chipped away at his health (broken collar bone, fistula, pneumonias, basal cell cancers, depression, weakness, and waning concentration) which left him unable to work. He went on disability. He wrote music throughout his journey, and also his first book “From Suffering to Soaring”: a book pointing towards his awakening epiphany. His compassion has only deepened throughout his journey which has birthed We Are Overlap with his soul brother Robert Sidebottom. Author Mark Coleman talks about his new book From Suffering to Peace: The True Promise of Mindfulness Like yoga and meditation before it, mindfulness seems to be having its moment in the spotlight. It has become the buzzword in everything from medicine, the military, and education, to sports, prisons, and therapy. This hype had reached the point where it is easy to lose sight of what it can actually offer. When Buddha first taught mindfulness about 2600 years ago in North India, he likely had no idea how his teachings, which offered a vehicle for ending suffering and finding peace, would spread around the world in the twenty-first century. While the way of mindfulness is being taught and developed in therapy offices, hospitals, classrooms, and boardrooms may differ from the scope of his original intent, mindfulness practice today is transforming tens of millions of lives all over the world. Mark Coleman is a mindfulness teacher, wilderness guide, and author. Mark Coleman is the author of From Suffering to Peace, Make Peace with Your Mind, and Awake in the Wild. As a rebelious young man living in London, Mark stumbled upon a meditation centre at the height of the punk era. His discovery began a lifelong journey of exploring the mind, meditation, and causes of suffering and happiness. Mark is the founder of the Mindfulness Institute and has an MA in clinical psychology. Mark has guided students on five continents as a corporate consultant, counselor, meditation teacher, and wilderness guide. Conversation highlights: Concern that mindfulness is being touted as a panacea and reduced to bite size parts Mindfulness as a way to gain understanding, insight and inner freedom. How Mark found mindfulness in the midst of the London punk era. Don't have time to meditate? Mark shares practical ways you can choose mindfulness over numbing in the midst of a busy life. Our default node network and negativity bias: the physiological and psychological reason we are wired to be slightly negative with a meandering mind. The body as the best way to train to be present. Kindness as an important element of finding capacity to hold an experience and not suffer with it. Fairy tale spiritual mythology is not the path to awakening. The shift from self centredness to service. Despite a general feeling of powerlessness, serving the people around us has the power to ripple out and create influence. Mark Coleman's Memorable Quotes: "You may not have time to meditate for half an hour, but you have time to be present to a whole host of activities including driving, conversations, cooking, cleaning." "We all want the happily ever after story; the fairy tale spiritual mythology. I thought that too. I wanted to get enlightened so I wouldn’t have to feel and deal with the messiness and painfulness of life." "Remember that mindfulness, which is awareness, is a quality within us all. Awareness is our birthright." "Since we are an interconnected web of life, influencing one small thread of that weave influences the whole tapestry." Author Mark Coleman, who has been teaching mindfulness for over 20 years in a wide array of settings such as Buddhist temples, tech companies, hospitals, universities, prisons, and more, draws on his knowledge and life experience to clarify the true promise of mindfulness. In his book "From Suffering to Peace" explores the full breadth of mindfulness and brings close attention to four key areas in life: to the body, the mind, the heart, and the world in which we live. Coleman discusses how, through regular practice, readers can learn to bring awareness to these key realms of experience. He also provides meditations, reflections, and practices to help readers develop a real understanding and felt the experience of the impact mindfulness can have on their daily lives. “My hope with this book is to provide a comprehensive, clear understanding of the depth and scope of these ancient teachings, as well as to shed light on their contemporary applications,” writes Coleman. “That requires leaving no stone unturned as we explore our mind, body, heart, and world and discover what causes our pain and stress and what truly supports a life of well-being and peace." Today’s podcast episode is with Mark Coleman again and is meant to slow you down on this busy day. Like we discussed on Thursday in “From Suffering to Peace,” mindfulness isn’t always easy. Mark said, “You notice you start thinking about work and you go, ‘Okay that’s not what I’m doing right now...not now.” And you go back to meditating and two seconds later you were thinking, ‘oh I forgot to drop the kids lunches off at school…’” It’s a mindLESS trap we all fall into. Take a moment today to tune into Mark’s Memorial Day Meditation. Let it bring some intention and calm to today’s chaos. Be sure to leave a review on Itunes today if you can, and share with a friend who could use some calm in their life. From Suffering on Earth to Happiness in Heaven
I simply awoke. I suffered for more than 20 years with depression, fear, guilt, anger, judgment, confusion, a lack of connection and dis-ease. I lost friends and three lovers over 9 years to AIDS and then was diagnosed with cancer and AIDS in 2003 and thought that I was going to die. But upon introspection I realized that I was more than my thoughts because I was being aware of my thoughts. I realized also that I was more than birth and death. With this realization, all fears of being were absolved and a peace enveloped me that revealed that all is in divine order. I went through “the dark night of the soul”. And as layer upon layer of who I thought I was dissolved, I slowly became more and more self-aware. At one moment I remembered that I am more than any created form and so ultimately they have no true effect on me. Now I am here grateful to utilize the gifts of this body to express the one love from which all flowers. Life is not about something else or something other, it is what is happening now. And when our mind calms we then have eyes to "see". I am listening, singing, writing, sharing, and just playing and enjoying the blessings of each moment.
