"Doubt alone won't keep you where you are, for honest doubt is a good thing. But fear? Fear stops all forward motion. Fear disables and immobilizes. Fear strangles the courage right out of you. Fear becomes the controlling, overpowering, paralyzing emotion. It can become so crippling, that we are blinded to the possibilities of the future. Faith is the only antidote - actionable faith. Faith is not bare belief, like reciting the creed. It's not mere intellectual understanding, the ticking off some doctrinal check list. Faith is an action-oriented willingness to trust in, and to rely upon God, that Power greater and beyond yourself." - RM
"Here is an invitation that is too rarely extended: Come to Jesus and find joy. Find adventure. Find yourself...then, find yourself challenged. Find yourself stretched. Find yourself pushed; pushed into deep water; pushed beyond safety, comfort, manageability, and sometimes, pushed beyond what passes as good sense. Come to Jesus for the salvation of your soul; sure, but stay for the invigoration of your spirit. Come to Jesus for your future; yes, but stay for today. When you hear that still, small voice of Christ say to you, 'Let's go further…let's fly higher…let's launch deeper,' it's okay to be afraid - but don't let that fear stop you from answering that call. What waits on the other side is a fuller, richer, deeper way of living." - RM

Eggplants … We all did it together! DANKE! We purple you

Eggplants! My friend Aiden Kelly (he/him, trans man, age 23, future in theatre) and my friend Annalee Kelly (married mother of 4, RM, active LDS, from Idaho Falls) join us to share their story. Aiden starts and talks about: Immense pain of gender dysphoria Writing in his journal—and sharing that journal entry with his mother as a way to come out as a boy Knowing sharing his pain with others would be key to getting help and making his future possible How hormone treatment and top surgery ended the pain and have him hope Parents support Glad he is alive. Has hope and a future. Advice to others who are suicidal/have no hope. Annalee then shares about: The long-term hatred Aiden had for his body (hair pulling, pounding on his chest, etc) Asking advice from his Bishop (good experience) Had to put Aiden's life ahead of my original dreams/hopes Generally positive ward and family support Starting Open Arms of Idaho Pain of the August 2025 transgender handbook policy update “Aiden is a masterpiece” Aiden's Father support Aiden is one of my heroes—a brave, talented, a good man—with a wonderful future. I'm glad you are alive Aiden and thank you for your courage to share your story. You give hope to others. Our inaugural in-law guest on the podcast, Amber, eloquently discusses her experiences as a mother, wife, and caregiver to her father-in-law, Robert. She covers a range of topics, from navigating Medicaid to ensuring Robert's safety—not only in a physical sense but also on social media. It's clear that she has truly gone above and beyond in her role. We thoroughly enjoyed our conversation with Amber and can't wait to hear your thoughts!---Special thank you to today's sponsor AVIADOBIO.An extended version of this episode is available now on Patreon - join us www.patreon.com/remembermecommunity - you get exclusive content and it's a great way to support the show!If you're curious about anything RM, we'd love to connect with you on Instagram, and visit our website at www.remembermeftd.com, all the latest updates! ------Remember Me Podcast + Community is here to offer hope + human connection for families, caregivers, and individuals impacted by Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD). Christy found a way to navigate her father's FTD diagnosis with poise -- From fighting for a diagnosis to navigating 4 different Memory Care facilities... Christy seemed to go above and beyond to provide the best loving care for her dad. What was so apparent to us - was how naturally she adapted to his reality - always keeping his personhood at the forefront of her mind. But it was not without so much sacrifice and grief - sharing how deeply the disease impacted her family. But ultimately we saw Christy's story as the most amazing example for her children of devotion and service - and what we do for the people we love.Thank you for sharing your story with us, Christy. You are an amazing daughter + advocate. An extended version of this episode is available now on Patreon - join us www.patreon.com/remembermecommunity - you get exclusive content and it's a great way to support the show!If you're curious about anything RM, we'd love to connect with you on Instagram, and visit our website at www.remembermeftd.com, all the latest updates! ------Remember Me Podcast + Community is here to offer hope + human connection for families, caregivers, and individuals impacted by Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD). Today's episode feels like a conversation between 3 old friends. New friend, Genessee, openly shares her unique experience with her mother's complex mental health issues and her eventual diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia (FTD). For the first time we really dive into the topic of infertility -- and what it's like to navigate a fertility journey alongside the grief and challenges having a loved one with FTD. We loved this conversation - and the special peice of Holly at the end.
