We began with a correction to a previous Bobbie 411 episode, clarifying that Felicia struck Peter August rather than shooting him, along with a brief explanation of SORAS and a few predictions. We also shared an update to our programming plans: instead of finishing our Bobbie Spencer 411 as scheduled, we decided to pause that series following the recent passing of Anthony Geary. As a result, we are re-releasing our first Christmas special from 2019 and adding a bonus second episode to cover the gap.Tracy returned to town and learned about Ned's heart attack, expressing frustration that she had not been told. Ned explained it was his decision. Tracy quickly resumed her role within the family and later spoke with Michael about protecting him. Meanwhile, Willow's trial began, with testimony from Tracy, Brook Lynn, Kristina, Dante, Elizabeth, and Drew. Missing footage, inconsistencies in Willow's alibi, and Drew's statement that he does not know who shot him raised further questions.Lulu continued dealing with issues involving Charlotte as Brennan pressured her for access and later involved Nina to help reach Charlotte. Nina and Charlotte went to dinner, where Nina warned her about trust. Valentin cautioned Carly that Brennan may have manipulated her from the start and questioned whether incriminating evidence Brennan claimed to have destroyed was actually gone or still being held. Brennan later gave Carly a necklace, which she removed after he left. The Five Poppies storyline progressed as Jason asked Joss for help investigating Britt's connection to Cesar Faison's final project. Brennan confronted Britt and demanded her cooperation, threatening to expose her past work unless she complied. Britt pushed for help restoring her medical license in exchange. Anna discovered a book linked to Faison, The Crystalline Conspiracy, hidden under her lunch tray.At the hospital, Britt continued to face tension with Elizabeth and reacted poorly to a letter of recommendation written by Lucas.Britt reconnected with Brad, leading to an expensive dinner they could not pay for and their subsequent arrest by Chase. Elsewhere, Nathan helped Lulu with Charlotte, Dante worked to repair relationships involving Gio and Rocco, Laura met with Sidwell about his business plans, and Isaiah continued caring for Portia while referencing possible paternity.

My heart broke this week when I heard about the passing of General Hospital icon Anthony Geary. So many of us remember where we were when his character, Luke, married Laura. I grew up watching this show with my mom and sister, and I still watch it every night with my husband Patrick. We had the honor of interviewing Anthony Geary back in May of 2015 when he was retiring from the show. When we released the episode, Anthony sent me a text thanking me. As you'll hear in the intro, it's something I hold dear to my heart and will never forget. I will always treasure this intimate, honest and beautiful conversation with one of the greats. We will all miss you, Anthony and my deepest condolences to Anthony's husband, Claudio. Jason is getting closer to the truth about Britt, but not in a very Jason way. She caught him snooping around! Shame on you, Jason. And Tracy is back! She found out about Ned's little visit to GH, but thankfully didn't yell at everybody too much. Rocco has been spared more jailtime, which, let's face it, he wouldn't have survived. Also, Valentin is settling in at Carly's, and apparently has the palate of a child. Plus, Portia is boxed in by boys. And Trina. And Kevin is getting right up in Sidwell's business! Be careful, Kevin! But also, good for you, sir, backing up Laura. Let's take care of this guy quickly, please. In July 2015, Jonathan Jackson made a special one-week return to General Hospital to help send off Anthony Geary's iconic Luke Spencer. Lucky's comeback brought him back to Port Charles just in time for an intense and emotional storyline. After being out of touch for weeks, leaving Elizabeth and the kids worried, Lucky was revealed to have been kidnapped and forced into Frank Smith's dangerous scheme. He stepped up heroically, helping rescue Luke and Laura and proving that, even after all these years, he's still a Spencer through and through. The drama reached a whole new level on Cassadine Island when Luke and Laura confronted Helena and discovered that Lucky and Elizabeth's son, Jake, was alive—after everyone thought he was gone. Lucky brought Jake home in a heartfelt reunion with Elizabeth, delivering one of the most emotional moments in GH history. After sharing goodbyes with Luke and reconnecting with Nikolas, Lucky quietly left town again to continue his humanitarian work in Africa. Even in a short return, Lucky's storyline reminded fans of his bravery, loyalty, and the deep bonds that define the Spencer family. This podcast is not endorsed by, directly affiliated with, maintained, authorized, or sponsored by ABC Television Network, Prospect Studios, or any official General Hospital organizations. Click to Subscribe: https://bit.ly/Youtube-Subscribe-SoapDirt General Hospital, ABC's long-running soap opera, five actors have left the show, causing quite a stir among its dedicated fanbase. Marcus Coloma, known for his portrayal of Nikolas Cassadine, was among the recent departures, his exit shrouded in mystery and controversy. His replacement, Adam Huss, has taken up the mantle, adding to the intrigue. GH saw another iconic character, Luke Spencer, played by Anthony Geary, bid adieu for good, his departure caused by the actor's yearning for a change after 20 long years of playing the same character. Kelly Monaco's abrupt exit as Sam McCall was met with outrage from fans, while Lexi Ainsworth's replacement as Kristina Corinthos-Davis by Kate Mansi did not sit well with the audience. General Hospital also saw Jonathan Jackson, who played Lucky Spencer. His exit was attributed to the impracticality of commuting between Tennessee, where he lives, and Los Angeles, where the show is filmed. These departures have churned the waters of General Hospital, leading to speculations and rumors among its fans. The future of these characters, now in the hands of their replacements, remains to be seen. This episode was hosted by Belynda Gates-Turner for the #1 Soap Opera Channel, Soap Dirt. Daily Soap Opera Spoilers by Soap Dirt (GH, Y&R, B&B, and DOOL)
Click to Subscribe: https://bit.ly/Youtube-Subscribe-SoapDirt General Hospital is setting the stage for Bobbie Spencer's (Jackie Zeman) final storyline and leaving fans in suspense about the future of Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). With Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) in Amsterdam sorting out the aftermath of Luke Spencer's (Anthony Geary) murder by Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy), the upcoming episodes are hinting at a heartbreaking end for Bobbie Spencer. The show's handling of legacy characters, as well as the respect shown towards the actors they represent, suggests that Bobbie's exit will be a graceful and fitting tribute to Zeman's decades-long contribution to the ABC soap opera. Meanwhile, Drew Cain's future on the show is uncertain given Mathison's recent significant deal with Great American Media. His sudden departure to Australia for a business deal and the looming threat of Mr. Brennan (Charles Mesure), the new head of both the WSB and Pikemen, have left fans wondering if history will repeat itself, mirroring Drew's previous disappearance. The potential exit of Drew could open up new storylines for Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) with the intriguing and dangerous newcomer. When John Stamos landed a role on General Hospital, his father, a restaurateur, required that the then-teenager keep working around the kitchen in addition to his acting gig. Today, Stamos doesn't resent this ordinance, and in fact he credits it as being particularly important to his later success. For this reason and others, he considers his father as one of his mentors, among others such as Anthony Geary, Jack Klugman, Don Rickles, and Sammy Davis Jr. Stamos speaks to the importance of each of these role models—as well as the invaluable lessons they imparted to him—in his newly released memoir, If You Would Have Told Me. On this week's episode of Table for Two, the Emmy nominated performer sits down with host Bruce Bozzi to discuss the affecting stories in his new book, including the lasting influence of a childhood bully, his relationship with sobriety, and the recent passing of his close friend Bob SagetSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Harvey Brownstone conducts an in-depth interview with Debby Boone, Renowned Singer, Actress and Author About Harvey's guest: Today's guest, Debby Boone, is an immensely popular singer, actress and author who became an immediate global superstar in 1977 with her mega-hit song, “You Light Up My Life”. The song became one of the greatest multi-platinum singles in pop music history, spending an unprecedented 10 weeks at #1 on the Billboard charts, and selling over 4 million albums. She received a Grammy Award for Best New Artist, and since then, she's received another 7 Grammy nominations, and winning 2 more – in 1980, for Best Inspirational Performance, and 1983, for Best Gospel Performance. She's also won a slew of other awards, including Top New Female Vocalist at the Academy of Country Music Awards, 2 Dove Awards for Best Album, a Music City News Award for Best New Female Artist, and 7 Record World Awards. She's recorded 13 albums, including “You Light Up My Life”, “Love Has No Reason”, “With My Song”, “Savin' it Up”, “Surrender”, “Friends for Life”, “Home for Christmas” and my 2 personal favourites, “Reflections of Rosemary”, which is a beautiful tribute to her late mother-in-law, the legendary Rosemary Clooney – and her latest album, “Swing This”, which has solidified her reputation as one of the best vocal interpreters of the Great American Songbook. Our guest has appeared in dozens of TV shows and starred in 2 of her own TV specials - AND she co-starred in one of the most popular TV movies of the 80s, “Sins of the Past”, co-starring Kirstie Alley, Kim Cattrall and Anthony Geary. On the stage, she starred on Broadway in “Grease”, as everybody's favourite “bad girl”, Rizzo. And in 1990, she starred in the highly acclaimed revival of “The Sound of Music” at Lincoln Center, which earned a Drama Desk Award nomination. She's starred in hugely successful national touring productions of “7 Brides for 7 Brothers” and “The Sound of Music” - which I had the great pleasure of seeing here in Toronto in 1987. She's had starring roles in many regional theatre productions including “Meet Me in St. Louis”, “South Pacific”, “The King and I”, “42nd Street”, “Into the Woods”, and many more great shows. And if that weren't enough, she's also written six bestselling children's books, illustrated by her dear husband Gabriel Ferrer. Formed in 2020, Shockwave Theory is a 5 piece metal band hailing from Southern Indiana. Combining elements from bands like Pantera and Lamb of God, all the way to the vocal styles of Signs of The Swarm, Shockwave Theory surely has a little bit of everything for everyone, and they're out to make a name in the heavy music scene all while making it new and unique. Shockwave Theory was formed by long time friends Nate Reynolds and Jesse Harris, who in just a few short weeks, linked up with Corbin Pinkston and Anthony Geary, and had brought them on board, completing the bands lineup. Shortly after, the debut single ‘Salvation', was written and released for the world to hear. In 2021, ‘Let's Go To War' was written with a whole new mindset and became their new staple for the heavy music scene. A few short months after, they added a 5th and final member, Zac Postin, and quickly began adding the final touches to their newest single ‘Jaded' which is the bands most unique song yet.Shockwave Theory is:Corbin Pinkston (lead vocals), Nate Reynolds (lead guitar/clean vocals), AJ Geary (bass), Zac Postin (rhythm guitar), and Jesse Harris (drums).Brutal Business Ent and Celestial Oddities Radio: Bringing you the best in underground entertainment

GH’s Emme Rylan dishes Lulu’s current tale, Dominic Zamprogna’s return as Dante, working with Genie Francis (Laura) and Anthony Geary (ex-Luke) and more with Digest's Stephanie Sloane and Mara Levinsky. Plus, we discuss the latest casting news, and whether AMC and ONE LIFE will return to TV.
On this special Daytime Confidential episode Luke Kerr, Jamey Giddens, Mike Jubinville and Jillian Bowe dive into the news that General Hospital executive producer Frank Valentini has bumped soap opera legend Genie Francis to recurring. The DC gang explores the importance of Genie Francis and her character Laura Spencer having an active role on the show and in Port Charles. In the era of Time's Up and pay disparity revelations why are General Hospital's actresses paid so much less than their male counterparts? They look at a timeline of Valentini's decisions and the negative impact his "Friends of Frank" casting style has had both onscreen and off. Why has Valentini become caught up in casting wars with other shows or hired his actor's boyfriends in roles fans do not care about when General Hospital has a rich history of characters that could be portrayed by these same actor? Under Valentini's stewardship General Hospital has gone from having a long track record as one of the best soaps at casting new generations of actors–like Genie Francis, Kin Shriner, Anthony Geary, Steve Burton, Maurice Benard, Vanessa Marcil, Sarah Brown, Tyler Christopher, Amber Tamblyn, Jonathan Jackson, Scott Clifton and Drew Garrett–to arguably the worst at casting fresh faces. Should Valentini be fired if the debacle with Genie Francis' contract is not rectified? All this and much more on this special Daytime Confidential episode! It truly is the end of an era! Anthony Geary made his final and permanent exit from General Hospital on Monday, July 27 as he had one last conversation w/Sonny then disappeared into the fog for parts unknown. For anyone who has been immersed in the iconic drama it's been a sad moment, though I think tougher for those who worked with Tony for so many years. Join me tonight with my special guests Jackie Zeman, who played Luke's little sister Bobbie Spencer and Ian Buchanan, who also worked with Tony for so many years. Both were at the finale goodbye party and have lots of insight into Tony's last year on GH.
Last season we ended the show watching Revenge of the Ninja (http://revengeofthe.ninja/) where guest Arden chose a random page number from Videohound’s Complete Guide to Cult Flicks & Trash Pics. The idea was that we would watch a film from the page he chose. What luck! On that page was Weird Al Yankovic’s UHF Where can you watch this film? And for once we recommend it. Buy the Blu-ray 25th Anniversary edition. Stream it on - Amazon iTunes Coincidentally, there probably aren’t any UHF stations where you can watch UHF. Check your local listings! This episode we’re joined by Sally from Sallyannk.com. During the episode she talks about the upcoming One Spark competition. As of posting this show we know she placed 9th in her category! Chris appeals to Cracker Jack to sponsor the show. UHF had heavy competition in 1989. We decided that Weird Al needs one of Sally’s beanies. It’s a good price, get one for yourself! Paul’s first cassette ever? Alapalooza. The film has an amazing story when it comes to its video release. Check out the “Legacy” section of the Wikipedia entry. Supposedly the movie was loosely based on The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, a Danny Kaye film based on a short story. Ben Stiler stars in the remake. You do not have permission to use a real oscar in your silly film! So here’s a bashful, gold statue. Everyone needs a Nash Metropolitan. The undisputed king of sandwiches. Weird Al builds a mountain of mashed potatoes a la Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Is that the Inspector Gadget villain again? Victoria Jackson shows up in the film.
