The aftermath of the Mid Town Bio Services attack was devastating. But there's a silver lining- with the help of forensic analysis, Sharethetruth's identities have been found. And people are starting to notice there are a lot of strange animal related attacks happening in Santa Barbara. But some people might be taking what they hear a little too far. And as we focus on finding Sharethetruth's location, an unfortunate development comes to light that hits a little too close to home. http://www.sporadicphantoms.com Sound attributions: CO.AG Youtube Audio Library The Fantastical Ferret / Tim Kulig / timkulig.com Measured Paces by Kevin MacLeod is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license.https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ Source: http://incompetech.com/music/royalty-free/index.html?isrc=USUAN1100164 Artist: http://incompetech.com/ AMBEmrg_Crime Scene.Designed.Arrival Of Police.Sirens.Radio.City Noise.Barking Dogs.Footsteps_EM.mp3 – newlocknew - https://freesound.org/s/692480/ apartment_door_open_squeak_slam.wav – magedu - https://freesound.org/s/341537/ Barn Door creek.aif - MAJ061785 - https://freesound.org/s/85509/ Birds from the forest between the fields.wav - dibko https://freesound.org/s/622996/ car explosion w debris.mp3 - PNMCarrieRailFan - https://freesound.org/s/682062/ cloth flaps – Sauron974 - https://freesound.org/s/188733/ Crushing dried flower petals.wav - deolandredejager - https://freesound.org/s/542962/ Jet airplane take off with strong ground whoosh - SoundsnapFX - https://freesound.org/s/583961/ light switch_off.wav – sjturia - https://freesound.org/s/370909/ Open and close drawer.mp3 – daawesomeprieto - https://freesound.org/s/662069/ outdoors forest footsteps running jogging rustle.wav - bulbastre - https://freesound.org/s/126972/ Pulling Out Chair.wav – beticbert - https://freesound.org/s/533960/ RBH_Household_drawer 05.wav – RHumphries - https://freesound.org/s/1012/ Sitting up and down on office chair.wav - PapaJelly - https://freesound.org/s/542763/

Venture back in time with Boston's very own Paul Cirincione as we unravel the enthralling narrative of a life steeped in the melodies of the Grateful Dead and the dynamic world of live music recording. Our foray begins with Paul's initiation into the taping culture at a Dead show in '78, with nothing but borrowed equipment from an unlikely source. His chronicles from the golden era take us through the small, smoky venues and the blossoming vending scene, contrasting the cumbersome recording gear of yesteryear with the sleek technology we see today.Join us as Paul reminisces about seeing the Grateful Dead, sharing tales that intertwine his personal milestones with about 100 concerts over a decade. Whether it's a snow-laden odyssey to the Stanley Theater or a serendipitous ocean swim, Paul's vivid storytelling captures the essence of Deadhead culture. We'll get an insider's look at iconic venues, the spontaneous camaraderie among fans, and the remarkable drive that fueled the journey despite the demands of adulthood and a full-time job.But the musical expedition doesn't end with the Grateful Dead. Paul's diverse taste leads us through the punk scene's prime years, highlighting connections with legendary figures like Joey Ramone and intricate stories that bring us face-to-face with the likes of Al Kooper during a pivotal moment in music history. It's an intimate narrative that paints a picture of the raw humanity of these icons, etching Paul's experiences into the broader canvas of live music's transformative power. Let's set the stage for a symphony with Paul Cirincione as our conductor. This episode is sponsored by ShakedownTshirts.com with unique lot-style T-shirts and gifts for Grateful Dead, Phish, Zappa, Panic, and more. After facing a dangerous incident on the highway, we come to grips with Sharethetruth's unusual tactics. We then follow our lead to investigate the Greene Wildlife Rehabilitation Clinic. There could be a number of ways to go about it, but we think checking their security capabilities is a promising one. If anything amiss is happening at the clinic, would it be caught by surveillance? Or, could we just run into it? http://www.sporadicphantoms.com Sound attributions: Youtube Audio Library CO.AG MUSIC: "The Truth" - Artem Grebenshchikov Website: https://www.argsound.com YouTube Channel: https://bit.ly/2UrSOii Additional sound effects from https://www.zapsplat.com AMBEmrg_Crime Scene.Designed.Arrival Of Police.Sirens.Radio.City Noise.Barking Dogs_EM.mp3 - newlocknew - https://freesound.org/s/692481/ apartment_door_open_squeak_slam.wav - magedu - https://freesound.org/s/341537/ Barn Door creek.aif - MAJ061785 - https://freesound.org/s/85509/ basement room-tone 1634PM 220811_0491.wav - klankbeeld - https://freesound.org/s/674158/ Birds In A Cage On Antibiotics.wav - Angel_Perez_Grandi - https://freesound.org/s/52166/ Car Door.wav - Tianve8 - https://freesound.org/s/437502/ car inside ambience - 150237_Matthys - https://freesound.org/s/324474/ Car Power Windows - Theshaggyfreak - https://freesound.org/s/276274/ Car start and stop - botha9johann - https://freesound.org/s/326052/ car window roll down - scriotxstudios- https://freesound.org/s/354003/ Cricket Ambience, Remix, A - Moulaythami - https://freesound.org/s/536930/ doorbell.wav - sjturia - https://freesound.org/s/370919/ Footsteps Walking on Asphalt | HQ Sound Effects - https://www.youtube.com/@everydaycinematicsounds Interior car windows rolled up - cassssi - https://freesound.org/s/329585/ iPhone typing on keyboard - Picture to Sound - https://picturetosound.com/en/a/26/iphone-typing-on-keyboard light switch_off.wav - sjturia - https://freesound.org/s/370909/ PLANT FOLIAGE RUSTLE FOLEY MOVES - BathroomCrooner - https://freesound.org/s/242547/ pull_chain_switch_02.wav - joedeshon - https://freesound.org/s/145804/ rings.wav - genviou - https://freesound.org/s/39061/ slow-walk-on-wooden-floor - CosmicEmbers - https://freesound.org/s/161417/ Walking on Grass - DJ Sound FX - www.youtube.com/@djsoundfx3101 --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/sporadicphantoms/message
Futile exercises are often likened to “closing the barn door after the horse is gone.” Joe Biden's belated efforts to mitigate his destruction of our southern border are akin to shutting it after a herd of Trojan horses have gotten in. Suddenly, as Democratic politicians repudiate previous commitments to make their constituencies sanctuaries for countless people euphemistically called “undocumented migrants” in favor of curbing services for “illegal aliens” and preventing further arrivals, Team Biden is channeling Donald Trump by building border walls and deporting Venezuelans. Such disastrously belated policy reversals will likely prove too little, too late to prevent massive electoral repudiation of open border candidates. Thank heavens, the owners of America's “barn” are insisting on new management. This is Frank Gaffney.

The USDA's milk production report for December surprised us and sparked some interesting discussion in a recent mass balance and charting meeting. We thought it made sense to pull back the curtain and share some of that discussion on the podcast. What does the USDA revision of cow numbers tell us? Should we worry about falling Texas cow numbers with cheese plants coming online this year? Director of Global Strategy Don Street talks through his expectations for Q1 milk production in the wake of recent numbers, which leads to some back-and-forth about the adverse economics facing producers now. Don: All right. Do you want to get rolling? T3: Yeah, let's go ahead and get rolling. Don: Okay. I've struggled to come up with a title. I finally settled on, Once You Count the Cows Before the Barn Door is Opened, which I realize doesn't make any sense, because if you're Nelson Freya, the cows are always in the barn. But USDA is having some difficulties on cows. So, November production was revised lower by three-tenths of a percent. And to do that, USDA reduced cow numbers by 9000 head, kind of spread over a whole bunch of states. Nobody more than 2000 down a couple, or even a 1000 or 2000 up. And milk per cow was down 0.2%. So, given where margins are, not much excitement on pushing cows to really produce more milk. December, production was reported as up 0.9. Again, this is 24 states. I was at 1.7. So clearly, an overshoot because I was two-tenths of a percent off on number of cows at the end of the day. And then about again, a half percent off on milk per cow. So, even though December of '21 was weaker on milk production, it didn't translate into a bump in December. The other interesting thing to note is that USDA dropped the herd 5000 head in Texas in December. And we continue, well, we, me, continue to think that Texas cow numbers have to go up with panhandle cheese coming online. But there again, counting cows is more of an art than a science, apparently. All of this leads to thinking the milk supply will be more limited going into '23. So, we're at the end of January tomorrow. We'll have January milk numbers in three weeks after that. But my projections now, down to 1.7. I think at one time, I even threw out the number it could be up 2.5 in January. That just simply isn't going to happen with the downward pressure on milk per cow. Stated differently, the lack of growth in milk per cow. Q1 2023, I'm now at up 1.1%. I think originally when we first started to look at this, I was at just over two. So, this is much less surplus milk in Q1 than I was expecting. And the next step from that is looking at Q2, not a lot of change. I think we're going to be stuck for some months in about 1% overall growth in milk production, probably for the first-half of the year. January continuing to be the exception because it was down so heavily. There will be a little bit of a bounce just from the math of that reality. If you assume, and this is where we ended 2022, 24 states, 8,918,000 cows, and just hold that steady for the whole year. You can see in January we're up a half percent less than February. And then we're just kind of even with the prior year, a tenth percent up down a little bit, up barely. So, without more cows coming into the system, all the growth after February is going to be dependent on milk per cow. And we already know that's pretty minimal. So, earlier this month, because of the delay in Christmas, we did talk about that you could expect 100,000 cows added to the herd for the two plants that are coming online in Q1 and Q2. If you actually had a 100,000 cows coming in, then your growth in number of cows would contribute much more significantly to overall milk production growth. I think at best, this is probably half of this number. So, I think even with that expansion, with depressed margins, non-aggressive feeding of cows, we're going to be in a milk production environment where we're k...

Get my 9-Minute Kettlebell & Bodyweight Challenge FREE here: http://www.9MinuteChallenge.com I've talked recently about several of the key things you need to turn your workouts from sucky to spectacular. Among them were things like training odd angles, getting generally strong before specifically strong, your exercise selection, etc. But just like how you need your vegetables in addition to your steak, you also need exercises you typically ignore or don't excel at as much in order to get truly strong and fit. I dish on how to do that in this fine episode.

With Donald Trump's successful efforts to keep his misdeeds from becoming public, it falls to authors of books to write the first drafts of history. There have been a spate of books of late, and the one that has garnered the most attention and accolades is “I Alone Can Fix It,” by Carol Leonnig and Phil Rucker. Harry sits down with Leonning and Rucker for an in-depth exploration of some of the bigger, finer, and more surprising points of the book, and their take on where things now stand.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Troy had been in the bus game for quite some years. His first feature car was on 97 in VW Trends Red & Black Camper called "Summer Fun". After that bus found its way to Japan. 3/12/20: PANIC – AMERICAN BARN DOOR STRATEGY With regard to the COVID-19 panic, we need to blame the media and the extremists who had their main focus on impeachment while not sufficiently informing the public when they knew about the potential pandemic. Also to blame are the ignorant amateurs that claim people who are making provisions are chicken littles and discouraging preparedness in the face of supply chain failures. Those who have the Pollyannaish optimism will have it all come back to haunt them tomorrow if the coronavirus turns out to be as bad as many experts predict. On tonight's show, Clyde Lewis talks about PANIC - AMERICAN BARN DOOR STRATEGY. #ExclusiveArticle for #GroundZero #PanicAmericanBarnDoorStrategy
Like a horse coming home from a long trot we're tempted to run into the barn door, to finish quickly and to lose all discipline. It's imperative that we don't finish quickly but that we enjoy the process that we connect with others and that we don't lose sight of the discipline that has brought us here. Dan Cullum shared a post in November about the Barn Door effect. It resonated and impacted me so much that it's improved my decision making and caused me to reflect on it again and again. Horses rush to enter a barn door with little restraint despite having been very disciplined before seeing the barn door. In relationships we should be disciplined especially when we are in a hurry. Slow down. Resolve small mistakes while they are small. Invest in discussions when it feels like there is no time to talk. Slowly worship. Take time to reflect, change your mind and pivot. In essence: Shut the barn door. Or at least pay it no heed. #marriage #love #faith #hope #thrivingtwogether #foreverlove #marriage coach #relationshipcoach #relationshipcounselor #lastingmarriage #enduringlove #togetherwecan #fiercemarriage #remotemarriagecoach #change #better #forever #happy #happiness --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/thriving-twogether/support

Interview with Captain Dan Walsh Full shownotes here Interview with Dan Walsh Vintage spearfishing equipment, advice and stories about spearfishing pioneers, and insights into hunting Halibut aka barn door. Dan Walsh has spent 50+ years on the water spearfishing, scuba diving, captaining boats, chasing abalone and making TV shows about the ocean, Dan has no shortage of awesome stories. To compliment the chat I have included a tonne of info about him below. Enjoy this episode of the Noob Spearo Podcast:) About Dan Walsh Dan was captain of the “Sand Dollar” dive boat along with Bill Johnston when Terry Maas shot his big Bluefin at Guadalupe Island off Baja. Although it weighed in officially at 399.4 lb it was well over 400lb when he shot it, was on deck several days and got some weight loss due to dehydration. He also loves diving for Abalone and Lobster (his biggest was over 13lb!). In 1972 Dan became a Scuba Diving Instructor and 76 was the beginning of his boat Captaincy. Along the way he worked many well known dive shops including Scuba Sciences, San Diego Divers Supply, Aloha Dive Shop/Honolulu, Skin diving Hawaii, Kamehameha Divers/Kona. He also worked for AquaCraft/Bandito, Underwater Kinetics, Blue Water Wetsuits, Aleeda Wetsuits along with Captaining or crewing the Spirit of Adventure, Bottom Scratcher, Kona Princess, and Caribbean Explorer. You may have seen some of his film well known film and television work such as ESPN Diving with Christopher Reeve, PBS Nature/Antartica, and Shark Week. He is still involved producing shows for CBS, NBC sports, and others. Dan's Old guys mask clearing technique: "Most of the Bottom Scratchers used tobacco and smeared a cigarette inside and rinsed it out to keep the mask from fogging. I’ve never smoked and didn’t think that method was for me. I just used spit." Spearfishing Tips: Get comfortable in the water Learn to breathe—buy , The Flow book for mental calmness, yoga breathing etc Don’t rush things, take it easy as you learn and get more experienc. Get comfortable with your equipment + Get a really good mask! A Low volume mask that fits well. Today I’d like to take a break from talking about the market. Instead, I’m bringing you some interesting fishing facts. There are many great Anchorage area homes for sale. You may also call me at (907) 865-6404 for a FREE home buying or selling consultation to answer any of your real estate questions. This week we wanted to do something a little different. Instead of talking about the market, today we’re going to talk about some fishing trivia. Did you know that when salmon spawn, they travel 1,900 miles up the Yukon river to do so? Additionally, Alaska is home to five different species of salmon: the King, the Coho, the Sockeye, the Chum, and the Pink. Of all of these, and of all Pacific salmon in general, the Pink is the smallest. And the Chum has one of the widest ranges of all Pacific salmon and can be found throughout the world including here in Alaska, but also in California, Canada, Russia, and Japan. As another fun fact about salmon, the females, just like chickens, are called “hens.” But Alaska isn’t just home to salmon. The Pacific halibut is one of the most sought after fish in our state. “The Pacific halibut is one of the most sought after fish in our state. ”I remember the first time I ever saw a halibut. When I noticed both eyes on one side, I truly thought something was wrong with that fish. Another thing that might surprise some people about the halibut is its size. The largest halibut to have been recorded weighed 495 pounds. Any halibut larger than 300 pounds is called a Barn Door halibut. Smaller halibuts, though, are called Chicken halibuts. Fishing season this year may be over—but, if you’re a fisherman, remember to be safe and have fun when it comes around again. If you have any other questions or would like more information feel free to give me a call or send me an email. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

What if installing a certain item of décor in your home would substantially increase your likelihood of selling your property OVER MARKET VALUE? I expect you’d be racing to crack out your screwdrivers and drills! I’m Carole Ellis and I’ll tell you exactly what you need to hang in your home to get that price bump today, in episode 45.--Can you believe it? A SIMPLE décor decision (one that you can make in five minutes and install over the weekend, by the way), makes homes that have it far more likely (more than one in every 10 in fact) to sell OVER MARKET VALUE – oh, and faster to boot! I’ll tell you all about this magic amenity in just a minute, but first I want to take 30 seconds to mention something that could be a “magic ticket” for real estate investors but a nightmare for YOUR PARENTS. Before you start having teenage flashbacks, don’t worry. This is actually a scary scenario for seniors in America today because there is a HUGE HOUSING SHORTAGE for the aging demographic, and it’s only getting worse. Want to know how to help your parents and leverage this situation to your investing profit advantage? Check out the whole story, “SCARY NEWS for seniors seeking housing” at www.rei.today in our news and networking section. Now, back to, installing that price-bumping addition to your sales price…According to Zillow (yes, they’re at it again and I LOVE IT!) certain keywords in real estate listings not only are associated with far, far more listing views than identical listings without those keywords, but those keywords are ALSO associated with substantially higher sales prices on the properties that boast them. The biggest price bump? Wait for it…Listings with the term “BARN DOOR” in them. Now do we mean “Shut the barn door, this listing is fabulous!”? Well, no. We mean that a disproportionate number of properties with barn doors, those large, sliding, rustic-looking doors that are popular in many trendy homes these days, sell for substantially higher amounts more than their counterparts without them. Specifically, 13.9 percent of homes with this decor addition sell for over market value. This was particularly true out west, such as in metro areas like Phoenix, Arizona, where the style is extremely popular.Barn door décor may sound complicated, but according to our local Lowe’s, the process is actually pretty simple and you can install a sliding barn door in place of a conventional single door using stock options and fairly basic tools. Of course, if you want to get really authentic, you’ll have to go out, buy an old barn door, repurpose and refinish it, and then install it in a custom doorway, but most homes with barn doors actually have the stock options that have been custom finished or outfitted with custom hardware to fit the rest of the décor in the home.So for a fairly small amount of work, you could reap big rewards when you sell your property! This move is not only a potentially good one for homeowners, but also for investors looking to make their property stand out in listings and also at showings. Want to know other “Five Percent Plus” keywords identified by Zillow as being associated with selling higher than market price? I’ve got you covered! "And now, from a random barn somewhere in Rhode Island comes Stogie Geeks!" Stogie of the Week E.P. Carillo Edicion Limitada (2011) "Dark Rituals" Origin: Dominican Republic Wrapper: Oscuro Maduro Binder: Ecuadorian Sumatra Filler: Nicaraguan Strength: Unknown Vitola: Toro Grande Size: 6.50 x 56 Age: N/A MSRP: About $15.00 Paul's This Week In Smoke Viaje Skull and Bones ?: Released last year, this stick is a powerhouse. Cigar coma for sure, and a year later it still packs a punch and lacks in flavor. Tatuaje Cojonu 2003: I LOVE this stick. Especially with coffee, this is a true winner. At $10 a stick, its a bit pricy. I think I would buy a lot more of them for $8 a piece. Full of chocolaty, sweetness, and deep rich flavors. Fuente Anejo: Sorely disappointed, no flavor, flat, and uninteresting. I don't agree with all those people that like Anejo better than Opus. Opus is 12x better. EP Carrillo Inaugural 2009: I love this stick too, one of my favorites. Its aging very nicely. Still got spice, smoothie creaminess (I guess if you could get a nutty smoothie, it would taste like this). Just awesome. However, they fall apart on me at the end, but I think that's because I smoked the last one and this one while fishing. Tatuaje Noellas: These have some age on them and I am in love. Tim's This Week In Smoke Illusione ~88~ Maduro: Same great filler and binder but with a San Andreas Wrapper. How can you go wrong? These should only get better with age. Check out the ash on this stick! Hunt these down! Undercrown Gran Toro by Drew Estate: Unique, bold flavor profile and finish. Review posted here. Suggest grabbing a fiver, trying some for yourself, and letting the remainder rest for a few months. Partagas 8-9-8 Varnished (2001): Smoked my last two Lonsdale's from 2001 with a friend on his birthday this week. What a great example of what age can do to a smoke. Great flavors (wood, spice, and sweetness) with perfect balance. Rodrigo Habano Robusto: Great boutique brand. Rich flavors (coffee, chocolate, wood, & some spice) with medium amount of strength. Recommend the Toro ( 6 x 50). Stogie Tech Segment: Paul's Top Ten Things Not To Do With Your Humidor 1) Do not use tap water 2) Do not store you humidor inside a cabinet 3) Do not put your humidor in direct sunlight 4) Never use anything that looks like a green sponge 5) Stay away from analog hygrometers 6) Do not take off the cellophane or tubes 7) Don't forget to change the sponge or humidification elements 8) Try not to use a cheap desktop humidor 9) Don't put water in your gel humidification elements 10) Don't put cigars in your humidor that are moldy or full of beetles Audio Feeds:
