Is this R-Patz sci-fi extravaganza another silly folly in the vein of 'Okja'? Or does this get closer to the more ruthless satirical tone of his South Korean output? Listen and find out!

In this episode, we read chapters 1-7 of Breaking Dawn, the fourth and final book in the original Twilight saga. A lot happens in the first part of the book: a new car, a bachelor party, baby dreams, THE wedding, a terse reception, a steamy honeymoon (goodbye, Edge-ward Cullen), various broken bed frames, some casual racism, some casual Mormon ideology, and a shocking cliffhanger ending! We also talk about: Pokemon, Charlie's marathon, Mary's new pup, Caitlin's colonoscopy, R-Patz' upcoming baby, Mary's wedding, Texas Roadhouse, and lots of nonsense. Thank you for submitting questions!

And every year, Friend of the Show, Miss Independent Jeremy Burgess joins up for the episode, giving his own surprises and delights. First up, Burgess is assigned his annual Burgentine's Day -- sure, it's early, but Home Goods had V-Day stuff up before Christmas, so we feel okay about this. Then, the guys jump right into their Top 5 films that they went into unsure about, perhaps with little to no expectations... and came out of surprised at how delighted they found the movies... and delighted at the surprise of how delightful it was. Or something. And they even dig a little into Oscar odds... some newer horror gets lots of love on the show... a little hot Brendan Fraser talk... some Austin Butler chatter... Michael's Baygasm... and even get a little Shakespearean. Sort of. And a "Don't Die" update!! There will be spoilers! You have been warned. There will also be plenty of opinions, that's for certain. If there is one thing we all love, it is a good Batman film, but does R-Patz and Matt Reeves' entry live up to the hype? We will also mention our latest release, Flash Gordon by Paul Mann. Which is still a superhero movie, right?
It's already time for another BATMAN series to get underway, this time it's Matt Reeves at the helm with R-Patz in the cowl. Does this take things in a fresh direction, or is it just more of the same? Batman Shane is here, of course, to lend his expertise in all things Batman to help us review THE BATMAN, the Riddler, the new Catwoman, Colin Ferrell's Penguin and everything in between + Shane sticks around for Weekly Recommends AND Brian gets a birthday shoutout from a special guest. In this episode, Amanda, Emily, Jesi, and Tobi discuss the stars of the Twilight Saga—KStew, RPatz, Taylor Lautner, and everyone else who brought the Saga to life. Who were they when they were cast, how did their careers evolve (or devolve) alongside the Saga, and what are they up to now?
Satu Mäkelä-Nummelan trap-ammunnan olympiakulta!), musiikista (Klubiräppijäbien nousu, Anna Abreun ykköshitti), katsotuimmista elokuvista (The Dark Knight!) sekä Oscareista(Ihana Hugh Jackman laulamassa The Dark Knightin vähistä ehdokkuuksista!).
Do we agree on everything? No. Do we agree on the fact that Robert Pattinson is an icon? No. Listen in as we battle it out to find out if RPatz is a PKL certified ICON. Film critic Elena Lazic returns on the show to talk about Robert Pattinson. From his noticeable turn in HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE and, obviously, TWILIGHT, R Patz has continued to surprise audiences by playing with and against both his anxiety and his natural charm. Elena argues that his strength is in his desire to always plays weirdos and to work with visionary directors, such as Claire Denis in HIGH LIFE, or the Safdie brothers in GOOD TIME.

After more than a year of social distancing for Alex, Jane and Duncan, the Real Pod trio are back in the same room for an emotional reunion and the long-awaited analysis of a cinematic masterpiece.Approximately a thousand years ago, the idea of The Real Pod maybe, possibly, perhaps one day recapping the Twilight movie was floated. The people heard the rally cry, and a small but incredibly insistent movement began. The comments on Facebook asking “Twilight pod?” kept trickling in, and after the sixth or seventh one, we finally relented. As if we could outrun it... as if we could fight it off.So here we are in Forks, Washington, diving deep into all the mystery and wonder of an unstoppable love between vampire and human. Join us as we talk 2000s fashion, terrible hair, fast cars, mushroom risotto, twenty-three year old doctor dads and that scene in the parking lot. This is a re-recording of the prior more verbose episode. I read Jenny Trout's Chapter Recaps of the Book Fifty Shades Of Grey: Shopping for a Serial Killer's birthday. After that are two chapters of Master of the Universe. A few disclaimers. 1. I am reading verbatim from printouts of both I Read Fifty Shades Of Grey So You Don't Have to. There aren't many typos or grammar problems, but MOTU is another story! If I corrected the terrible grammar and typos, the context of this entire podcast would go out the window. 2. This is important I AM NOT PRO E.L. JAMES OR FIFTY SHADES OF GREY. I REPEAT THIS DISCLAIMER MANY TIMES. DON'T SAY I DIDN'T WARN YOU.3. Though I believe the Shades books to be perfect examples of what intimate partner abuse looks like; I am happy to debate as long as the person I am debating with has listened, read Twilight, and probably have read all the shades books bonus if you've seen the movies. Facts matter. These days it's hard to sort out these things, yet I can disagree without disagreeable. I won't tolerate disrespect. My blog www.KatyShaw.com will have some links and the picture of the Chedward tie on it. Also, if you have input, you'd like to chime in with, please do.. The last side note. Please don't expect perfection. I'm working on it. If you like it, please share it! I am a broke author sheltering in place. I need as much help as I can get. That said, enjoy Snowqueen's Icedragon literature classic, Master of The Universe, and Jenny Trout's I Read Fifty Shades of Grey So you don't have to. Be safe!XoXo!Katherine Shaw

This week we’re looking at three scifi films that came out in 2018 with coincidentally strong parental themes. We start with Rpatz at the tender mercies of psycho-space nurse Juliette Binoche in High Life (2018). Next up is father-daughter extraterrestrial camping trip Prospect (2018), with a Shakespearian Pedro Pascal. We finish with the Swedish generation ship cruise liner Aniara (2018) adrift in space, based on the poem from 1956.Also: Twiglet (2008). Silent Running (1972). Sunshine (2007). Bathos. Prospect, the original short. Anathem (2010). The Defiant Ones (1958). Dudievins by Ilona Balina. Passengers (2016). Saudade. Mentats and the Butlerian Jihad. Avenue 5 (2020). Hilarity ensues? Annihilation (2018). Dirac equation. We play a game of “The Ends of Existentialism” with outrageous French accents.
A new survey asked people what they can cook without a recipe, and the results aren't exactly gourmet dishes. The top five are: Eggs over easy . . . scrambled eggs . . . hard boiled eggs . . . poached eggs . . . and French toast. Who's the most beautiful man in the world? Science says it's future Batman star Robert Pattinson. In a new study from cosmetic surgeon Julian De Silva, the 33-year-old R-Patz is found to possess the most "accurate" Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi, which is said to measure physical perfection. James Potok, an aspiring social media star forced a plane to turn around after he joked that he might have the deadly Coronavirus. James joined Roz And Mocha to offer an apology. Plus, we find out why Roz hates t-shirt pockets so much.
This week, Alex & Dan bring you some time relevant audio news covering a rather gruff Sir Elton John on the Lion King live action remake, Peyton Reed making a return to Marvel's Ant-Man for the third outing, news on Doctor Doom making his debut in Black Panther 2, a new casting for R-Patz's Batman and we've seen plenty of new trailers to see in the new year! Featuring more than a number of Unpopular Pop Culture Opinions by Alex, the duo share their appreciation for an older Gillian Anderson and discuss their emotions and the turmoil they go through during a Disney Pixar movie - I'm not crying, you're crying! #GITS
The internet's boyfriend Timothée Chalamet is King Henry V and the internet's first kiss R Patz is The Dauphin (for some reason). This week, a triple whammy of reviews! Childhood of a Leader, which lusty teens and Danny flocked to at the promise of some brooding, dreamy R-Patz action, only to discover to their dismay it's a historical psychodrama about a mop-haired fascist boy; Brotherhood, the final part of Noel Clarke’s Hood trilogy in which poor Noel gets pulled back in just when he thought he was out; and Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping, The Lonely Island’s parody of megastardom featuring more man-baby silliness and celebrity cameos than you can shake a booty at. We are delighted to be joined this week by special guest Dougal Macqueen, who wows us with his knowledge of Catherine Breillat’s oeuvre and the xXx franchise. He also helps us discuss Paolo Sorrentino love of making films about rich old men and James Franco’s efforts to make a yucky movie about everyone’s favourite predatory subculture, pickup artists. Plus, Sam attempts to write a Lonely Island song in 10 minutes. See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
