Patton Oswalt is an American stand-up comedian, actor and screenwriter. He starred as Spence Olchin in the sitcom The King of Queens (1998–2007) and guest starred as the Koenigs on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (2014–2020). After making his acting debut in the Seinfeld episode "The Couch", he has since appeared in a variety of television shows, such as Kim Possible, Parks and Recreation, Community, Two and a Half Men, Drunk History, Reno 911!, Mystery Science Theater 3000, Archer, Veep, as Constable Bob Sweeney on Justified, and on Brooklyn Nine-Nine. He currently narrates the sitcom The Goldbergs (2013–present) as adult Adam F. Goldberg, plays Principal Ralph Durbin on Peacock's A.P. Bio (2018–present), and plays Marvel supervillain 'M.O.D.O.K' in the Hulu Original series M.O.D.O.K (2021-present). Oswalt is also known for voicing Remy in the Pixar film Ratatouille (2007) and starring in Big Fan (2009). Other notable film credits include Man on the Moon (1999), Zoolander (2001), Blade: Trinity (2004), All Roads Lead Home (2008), A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas (2011), and The Circle (2017). In his work as a stand-up comedian, Oswalt has appeared in six stand-up specials and also won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Special and a Grammy Award for Best Comedy Album for his Netflix special Patton Oswalt: Talking for Clapping (2016). Estaba volviendo de viaje de una provincia del interior. Había llegado a la capital con mi valijita y me senté en una plaza a esperar a la amiga que me iba a hospedar. En el viaje, había orado para que Dios me permitiera hablar de su amor con alguna persona. “Me dicen 'Máquina'”, me dijo reladamente a modo de presentación, mientras se acomodaba en un banco que compartimos por dos horas. Le faltaban algunos dientes; le sobraba barba desgreñada y experiencia de esa ganada a los golpes entre el humo de varias cosas que nunca probé. Y después de arte, política, historia y religión, llegamos al tema de Juan 3, porque los dos de alguna forma habíamos nacido de nuevo. Él por la epilepsia, yo por una decisión. Él me recomienda un libro nuevo de un autor secular mientras yo luchaba para que creyera, aunque sea en el versículo 16 subrayado en mi Biblia vieja. Lo acompañaban una guitarra criolla y un nerviosismo que lo hacía pararse a cada rato para ir a pedirle a alguna persona que le regalara su cigarrillo necesario. Oré para que pudiéramos tener una buena conversación y, aunque amagó varias veces, no llegó a fumar en ningún momento, porque la charla lo “entretenía” y se le “iba la ansiedad”. En algunos momentos, conversaba animado y, otras veces, entre meditabundo y callado, se quedaba mirando los caballos estáticos que peleaban en una estatua en medio de la fuente de la plaza. ¡Cuántas cosas peleaban en su anciana cabeza también! Era gnóstico, aparentemente exiliado en su propio país (como a él le gustaba decir), pero pude compartir un amor que él no estaba acostumbrado a percibir. Sus lágrimas no mentían. Nunca más lo vi, pero tampoco olvidé su mirada perdida. Al final, le quedaba bien el apodo, aunque fue un poco presuntuoso. Generó movimiento, uno que tú y yo podemos imitar. Alcanzó con entregarle un libro misionero que hablaba acerca de la esperanza para que él enseguida comenzara a hojearlo. No sé si lo leyó. Rewinding the clock to April 2018 brings back many fond memories and some memories I would sooner like to forget.  I was 37 years old with a 1-year-old baby and a few months into my full-time job as a transplant nephrologist at a thriving transplant department.  The job demands were significant, but the rewards matched the demand.  I learned exponentially about transplant nephrology, which I find incredibly gratifying today; however, the learning curve, demand, and stress had me concerned about my long term ability to do this job while maintaining a healthy physical and mental disposition.  Out of all of this uncertainty came one certainty: I wanted to possess the ability to pivot to a new job if necessary." The Bavarian brand is putting its all-electric i4 sedan through its final phase of driving dynamics testing, teasing the model at the same time. The crew produced a short video showing off the model's tail-happy attitude with i4 project leader David Ferrufino behind the wheel for the car's "final test drive."" says Motor1: "The video shows the coupe-like sedan drifting with ease, though it's too short for any real analysis. The car is still covered in camouflage, hiding its finer styling details, though the i4 Concept did provide a nice preview of what to expect. The i4 will feature model-specific damper technology designed to reduce dipping movements in the body. The i4 will arrive offering up to 530 horsepower (395 kilowatts) of power, which will be able to rocket the sedan from zero to 62 miles per hour (100 kilometers per hour) in four seconds."   372 miles range (600kms) expected. The machine is so big it had to be installed outside the factory, and a structure built around it to protect it from the elements. Since then drone flyovers around the building have given us glimpses of the single-piece cast aluminum rear underbodies produced by the machine for the Model Y." according to Drive Tesla Canada: "Thanks to a large opening in the roof of the building, we get to see what appears to be almost the entire process to make the rear underbody for the Model Y. There are likely other processes happening before the casting enters the area visible through the opening, but there is about 2 minutes between each time a casting is removed by a robotic arm. When the Model 3 was released its underbody featured over 70 parts. Tesla reduced that to two parts in the first Model Y’s, before moving to this single-piece casting, which was first spotted in a production vehicle last month."   Seems slow. Only 1440 a day. This represents a significant milestone for the company in its mission to eliminate the range and charging anxiety of electric vehicles (EVs), demonstrating the commercial viability of XFC batteries for the first time via a small form-factor battery cell." StoreDot is releasing the first production batch of sample cells, which is targeted at showcasing the technology to potential EV and industry partners. This first-generation battery was used to demonstrate the full charge of a two-wheeled EV in just 5 minutes for the first time (see video) and can offer ultra-fast charging to a number of other industries, such as commercial drones and consumer electronics. The first-generation engineering samples demonstrate to EV OEMs and battery manufacturers the successful replacement of graphite in the cell's anode using metalloid nano-particles - a key breakthrough in overcoming major issues in safety, battery cycle life and swelling. StoreDot XFC batteries are designed to be produced on existing Li-ion production lines. They found electric cars were easily more climate friendly than gas-burning ones. Over a lifetime, they were often cheaper, too. Hybrid and plug-in hybrid vehicles are about the same price as traditional cars, but cut emissions roughly in half. In the United States, the transportation sector is the largest source of emissions, most of which come from cars and trucks.
