Episode DescriptionWhat can emergency managers learn when disasters strike very different communities at nearly the same time?In this episode of the Emergency Management Network Podcast, Todd DeVoe and Andrew Boyarsky return from the IAEM Region 9 Symposium in Honolulu with a fresh perspective on preparedness, logistics, resilience, and the power of community. The conversation begins in Hawaii, where geography changes nearly every assumption emergency managers make about mutual aid and logistics. When help, equipment, food, and personnel may be thousands of miles away, “leaning forward” isn't simply good practice—it can be essential.Todd and Andrew then turn to the severe storms, flooding, and tornadoes affecting Indiana and other parts of the country. Different hazards. Different geography. But many of the same lessons.Emergency managers cannot afford to plan only for what happened last time. Wildfires can create tomorrow's debris-flow problem. Extreme rainfall can overwhelm places that have never flooded before. And communities that wait until disaster strikes to build relationships have already lost valuable time. The most important lesson may also be the simplest: preparedness begins with people. From involving residents in emergency planning to knowing the people who live next door, resilience is built long before the EOC activates. Government can facilitate the process, but it cannot create resilient communities by itself. Two storms. Two very different places. One lesson: know your community, understand your vulnerabilities, build relationships before the disaster, and prepare for the events everyone says could never happen here. Two Storms, One LessonCommunity, Preparedness, and the Paradox of ParadiseHosts: Todd DeVoe and Andrew BoyarskyPodcast: Emergency Management Network PodcastIn This EpisodeTodd and Andrew reflect on their time at the IAEM Region 9 Symposium in Honolulu and the lessons that Hawaii offers emergency managers everywhere.Hawaii's beauty comes with significant vulnerabilities. Distance from the mainland, separation between islands, limited transportation routes, and dependence on imported resources mean emergency managers must think differently about logistics and mutual aid.The discussion then moves to severe weather affecting Indiana and other parts of the United States, including flooding, tornadoes, high winds, and the challenge of preparing for hazards in places where people may believe, “That doesn't happen here.”Todd and Andrew explore what these events mean for emergency managers preparing for the next disaster—and why yesterday's assumptions may no longer be enough.Topics Discussed* Lessons from the IAEM Region 9 Symposium in Honolulu* Hawaii's unique emergency management challenges* The logistics of supporting remote and island communities* The importance of pre-positioning resources and leaning forward* Severe storms, tornadoes, flooding, and changing hazard conditions* Wildfires and the secondary threat of debris flows and land movement* Normalcy bias and the danger of saying, “That never happens here”* Thinking about the unthinkable* Community Lifelines and community preparedness* Bringing residents into the emergency planning process* Building relationships before disaster strikes* Knowing your neighbors as a preparedness strategy* CERT, VOAD, COAD, nonprofits, and volunteer organizations as force multipliers* Government's role as a facilitator rather than the sole source of solutions* Hawaii's “paradox of paradise”* The spirit of Ohana and what it can teach emergency managers about resilienceTwo Storms, One LessonThe hazards may be different, but the lesson is remarkably similar.Emergency managers must understand the communities they serve—not simply their hazards, infrastructure, and response capabilities, but their people, relationships, vulnerabilities, strengths, and culture.Preparedness cannot begin when the warning is issued. It begins when neighbors meet one another. It happens when residents participate in emergency planning. It grows when government, nonprofits, volunteers, businesses, and community organizations build relationships before anyone needs them.As Todd observes in the episode, government doesn't always have the answer to every problem. But it can help create the conversations, partnerships, and conditions that allow a community to become stronger.Key TakeawayUnderstand where you live. Know your vulnerabilities. Listen to your community. Build relationships before the emergency.Because when disaster strikes, resilience isn't something we suddenly create. It's something we discover we have already built.Stay safe. Stay hydrated. Robert "Tosh" Plumlee and bestselling author Ralph Pezzullo join me to discuss Deep Cover, Shallow Graves and the extraordinary story behind the book.Tosh shares his experiences as a contract pilot involved in covert operations during the Cold War, his account of the events surrounding President Kennedy's assassination, Cuba, Iran-Contra, and the compartmentalized world of intelligence operations.Ralph discusses the years of research that went into documenting Tosh's life and why he believes these stories deserve to be preserved. We also talk about the personal cost of living a life of secrecy, the challenges of verifying historical events, and why debates surrounding these topics continue more than sixty years later. An unexpected twist happened during the final ten minutes of our conversation when I suddenly lost power here in Hawaii. While I was offline, Tosh and Ralph continued talking on camera. After I rejoined the interview, Ralph mentioned that Tosh had received a text message that read, "Tosh, you better shut up," and Tosh  even tried showed it to me. At the time, I thought they were joking. It wasn't until I reviewed the interview during editing that I realized they had discussed the text while I was offline. We ended the interview laughing that maybe it was "just one more conspiracy."BUY A COFFEE LINK Support the Show & Stay Connected:Buy Me a Coffee: https://buymeacoffee.com/sensiblehippieJoin My Patreon for ad-free episodes & exclusive content: https://Patreon.com/WakeupwithMiya If you're joining Waiola – The Plus Side, please subscribe through a web browser (Safari or Chrome) instead of the Patreon app — it directly supports the show. That missing chapter is the start of an unforgettable story with Ultraman veteran, coach, and Scottyfit.com founder Scott McDermott, whose Kona crash left him with a severe traumatic brain injury, shattered bones, and a recovery that doctors said should not have been possible. We talk about what rebuild actually looks like: navigating the medical system, learning to train again without ego, and using tools like hyperbaric oxygen therapy and easy cardio to regain capacity. Scott also shares his coaching philosophy, why he always keeps coaches of his own, and a practical “green day, yellow day, red day” approach to training that helps endurance athletes stay consistent while respecting illness, stress, and recovery. The heart of the conversation goes deeper than triathlon. Scott connects childhood trauma, the need to feel “good enough,” and how ultra endurance can become a proving ground that never pays off emotionally. That realization reshaped his documentary “Living the World Code” into a film about identity, resilience, and choosing to race for joy instead of approval. We also get into the mental side of getting back on a bike at speed, racing at 57, and why he is returning to the Ultraman World Championship with unfinished business. If this hit home, subscribe to 515 The Ultra Podcast, share it with a friend, and leave a five-star rating and review so more people can find these stories.Resources mentioned in this episode:Ultraman CanadaUltraman MexicoUltraman World ChampionshipsTerry Fox RunZombie RunInnisfail TriathlonBanff Mountain Film FestivalNew York Film Festival Warrior CampShout outs and mentions in this episode:Steve Brown (S2E13)Sheryl Cobb (S2E6)David CobbBrad Sawa (S1E10)Van Sanchez (S1E6)Tony RobbinsAndrew Barber-StarkyTobias YoungMichelle BarnesDr Stefanie BassoBrett SuttonCraig PercivalPeter Hudson (S8E6)Adam FoxLyle KatchurNick Mallett (S2E12)Drew KenworthyHilary McDermottAl Evans Lucy Ryan (S2E5)Inge Jarl ClausanInaki de la ParraCraig KellerChuck DownieGary Wang (S2E6)Support the showShow Contributors:Host : Larry RyanContributing Raconteur : Steve KingAnnouncer : Mary Jo DionneProduction : 5Five EnterprisesMusic  :  Run by 331For show notes and past guests, please visit the Podcast Website: https://515theultrapodcast.buzzsprout.comFacebook: @515TheUltraPodcastInsta : @515theultrapodcastYoutube : @515TheUltraPodcastEmail : 515Ultraman@gmail.com

2020 was supposed to be a massive year for Pearl Jam. With the release of their first record in seven years, they were set to do a massive world tour to promote the album, however, a global pandemic threw a wrench in their plans and everything was pushed back. While Covid-19 was still prominent in 2021, Pearl Jam decided to go forth with four outdoor festival shows to ease back into the concert experience. Eddie Vedder's Ohana Festival added an additional weekend dubbed Ohana Encore where Pearl Jam headlined both nights. It was a return to normalcy at a time where everyone was looking for concerts to ease some of the struggle of feeling isolated during the pandemic. And it was the first time where Pearl Jam was able to showcase the songs from Gigaton that helped the fans get through the Covid years. With the beautiful beach atmosphere and the music traveling through the air, for two nights in Dana Point, California, fans could forget about the stress of quarantines and pandemics and just enjoy the pure sensation of live music. New songs, old songs, borrowed songs and heck even some forgotten songs were played as the many in attendance basked in something that was dearly missed. We'll have a lot to talk about in this show including how Gigaton was viewed a year and a half after the record, discussions of doing a podcast during Covid and what moments earn the "holy shit" moniker, and is Sweet Lew one of them? For this show, The Boys celebrate the 250th birthday of our nation with two spirits that were made in America! Everyone knows Tequila has to be made in specific regions of Mexico. This show highlights an "agave spirit" made with Blue Weber Agave and with similar methods, but in the great state of Hawaii. Everyone knows Evan Williams, but this bottle is special for the 250th celebration and bottled at 117.76 proof. The best part - the agave spirit for this pairing is 118 proof, making this show one wet hot American tasting. You had to catch the Evan Williams on the shelf, and you have to go to Hawaii for this agave spirit.  But don't let that stop you!  Grab a high proof blanco, a high proof bourbon, invite your friends to listen and sip along, and Make It A Happy Friday!™ Cheers!   p.s.: In the show open, The Boys mention Brad Niccum of Tasting Tequila with Brad, one of their favorite voices in agave.  Check out his YouTube channel and find him on all the socials: linktr.ee/tastingtequilawithbrad

How does a tech internship at a community centre in Kenya lead to one of the highest honours in the Salesforce ecosystem?   In this episode of our Golden Hoodie Winners series, I sit down with Alimali Stephens, Salesforce Senior Developer, community leader, and Salesforce Golden Hoodie recipient. Alimali shares an inspiring story that began with a desire to give back to his local community and led to an unforgettable moment on the Dreamforce stage.   His journey reminds us that opportunities often arrive when we're focused on helping others rather than chasing recognition.  Where It All Began  Alimali takes us back to his early days at the Karibu Centre in Kenya, where he joined as an intern supporting programmes for mothers, children, and the wider community.   It was there that he was first introduced to Salesforce through a volunteer programme. Rather than simply learning a new platform, he became part of a project that transformed how the organisation measured its impact, automated manual processes, and better supported the families it served.  That first experience with Salesforce would shape the rest of his career.  An Unforgettable Dreamforce Moment  One day, his director called him into the office with an unexpected question. How comfortable was he speaking in front of a large audience?  Soon afterwards, Alimali discovered he had been invited to present on the Dreamforce Admin Keynote. It would be his first visit outside Africa, his first trip to the United States, and, as it turned out, the day he received a surprise Salesforce Golden Hoodie.  To make the moment even more memorable, it all happened on his birthday.   Building A Career While Building A Community  Since receiving his Golden Hoodie, Alimali has continued to grow professionally, progressing from Salesforce Administrator to consultant and now Senior Salesforce Developer.   Alongside his day job, he has remained committed to community leadership. As a Salesforce Community Leader in Nairobi and a technology lead with Africa Ohana, he spends his time mentoring aspiring professionals, organising events, and helping others discover opportunities within the Salesforce ecosystem.  His belief is simple. The more people we help today, the stronger the community becomes tomorrow.  Why Community Changes Careers  Throughout our conversation, Alimali explains how discovering the Salesforce community transformed his own learning journey.  Early in his career, he often found himself solving problems alone because he didn't know there were other Salesforce professionals nearby who could help. Today, he works to ensure new Trailblazers never have that same experience.  It's a powerful reminder that asking questions, sharing knowledge, and supporting one another often accelerates everyone's growth.  AI Through The Eyes Of A Salesforce Developer  We also discuss how AI is changing the role of Salesforce developers.   Rather than seeing AI as a threat, Alimali views it as a practical tool that helps developers solve problems faster, reduce repetitive work, and deliver better solutions for customers. He shares examples of building AI-powered Salesforce solutions and explains why learning to work alongside AI will become an increasingly valuable skill.  What part of Alimali's journey inspired you the most, and how could giving back to your own community shape your career in ways you never expected?  About Supermums  Founded by Heather Black, a Salesforce Golden Hoodie winner, Supermums helps relaunchers and seasoned Salesforce professionals accelerate their careers in tech through expert training, career coaching and recruitment support.  Whether someone is returning to work, pivoting into a new role, or ready to step up in the Salesforce ecosystem, Supermums provides practical training, mentoring and access to job opportunities to help them build confidence, sharpen their skills and progress faster.  Alongside its career development programmes, Supermums partners with employers to connect them with talented Salesforce professionals who are ready to make an impact. One year after Disney announced the live-action Lilo & Stitch sequel, we're checking in on everything we know so far. The biggest news is that Chris Sanders is directing. He co-created the original 2002 animated film and has voiced Stitch from the very beginning, so this property is in the hands of someone who truly knows what ohana means. Disney has also locked in a release date of May 26, 2028, the same Memorial Day window where the first live-action film opened to $183 million on its way to breaking $1 billion worldwide. We also cover what's coming next: filming starts this year, likely back on Oahu, and the sequel will be a completely new story rather than an adaptation of Stitch Has a Glitch. That fresh start opens the door for some repair work after the first film's divisive ending that separated the sisters. Plus, star Maia Kealoha is pushing for Angel, Stitch's female counterpart, to join the cast, and a new Lilo & Stitch short featuring Lilo adopting a cat could hint at where the family dynamic goes next.Timestamps:00:00 Chris Sanders tapped to direct the sequel00:20 Release date locked for May 26, 202800:29 Filming starts this year, likely on Oahu00:36 A brand-new story, not Stitch Has a Glitch00:47 Repairing the first film's ending and reuniting the sisters00:57 The case for Angel and the upcoming Lilo & Stitch shortKey Takeaways:Chris Sanders, co-creator of the 2002 original and the voice of Stitch, is directing the live-action sequel. The release date is set for May 26, 2028, hitting the same Memorial Day window where the first film earned $183 million on opening weekend.Filming begins this year, likely returning to Oahu. The sequel will tell a completely new story instead of adapting Stitch Has a Glitch. The first live-action film crossed $1 billion, which is why the sequel got fast-tracked.Maia Kealoha wants Angel, Stitch's counterpart, in the sequel, and a new short featuring Lilo adopting a cat could set up the family's next chapter.Memorable Quotes:"He knows what Ohana means.""They got to get the sisters back together again. Send us Fan MailNearly 24 hours in open water changes what you think you know about fear, focus, and what you are capable of. Ted Lomicka joins us from Franklin, Tennessee to tell the story of completing the Triple Maui Nui, a nonstop three channel swim from Lanai to Maui to Molokai and back again. Ted describes starting in a thunderstorm, navigating bioluminescent “stars” below when clouds hide the real ones, then facing cold brackish water near Molokai alongside the threat of a shark fin. At his lowest point, a captain's short question reframes the choice and gets him moving again. On the final leg, sensory deprivation gives way to awe when a baby humpback whale swims beneath him and meets his eye, a moment that turns endurance into meaning and seals the lesson: dream big, live the dream, and share the dream.Ted is also a healthcare executive and an adjunct professor at Vanderbilt University, so we zoom out from the ocean to the real world impact of innovation leadership. We dig into ambient AI scribes in healthcare, how AI drafted notes can improve physician patient communication, and why giving clinicians 30 to 90 minutes back each night can boost satisfaction, retention, and outcomes. Along the way, Ted shares how he evaluates new ideas: technologically feasible, clinically relevant, financially viable, and scalable, then pilot small and iterate fast. The heart of our conversation is mindset. Ted breaks down the framework behind his upcoming book, First Of Five: The Five Hammers Of A Do Anything Mindset, forged in ultra distance triathlon at the Anvil race series. We unpack the hammer of passion, humility, mindfulness, equanimity, and transcendence, plus the idea of overriding the “evolutionary governor” when your body insists it is done. Send us Fan MailSomeone in our music family is gone, and we feel it in our bones. We open by paying tribute to Michelle, a Pearl Jam fan who didn't just show up, she helped build the community around Touring Fan Live while fighting cancer with a kind of courage that still doesn't feel real. We share what she meant to us, why her energy changed the people around her, and we play the moment Pearl Jam recognized her from the stage. After that, we do what friends do when they're trying to keep moving forward: we pour a glass and talk. It turns into a surprisingly helpful deep dive on Merlot, from aging and oak to Bordeaux-style blends, why Washington Merlot deserves more respect, and how pop culture moments like Sideways warped the way people buy wine. If you've ever said “I don't like Merlot,” we give you a few reasons to reconsider and a few questions to ask your own palate. Then we jump into Pearl Jam talk the way fans actually do it, with equal parts excitement and skepticism. Ohana Festival is around the corner, “Eddie Vedder and Friends” has everyone guessing, and the new drummer mystery keeps feeding the rumor machine. We also step back and talk about what really matters for a band at this level: chemistry, trust, and whether a new lineup can honor a massive catalog without losing the spark. We wrap with the bigger live-music reality check: tour cancellations, Ticketmaster, and the breaking point for ticket prices. And because we can't resist a time machine, we run through a June 1996 top songs list that hits everything from Soundgarden and STP to Butthole Surfers at number one. If you didn't check out part 1 be sure to give that a listen and then head over to the FB group and let us and the rest of the Ohana know what YOU think! Another big shout out to our guests: Johanna, Jonathan, and Sean for joining us as well. Thanks for tuning in and as always... See Ya Real Soon! THANK YOU to the official TA of MTADA, Sue Passauer. Sue is affiliated with MEI & Mouse Fan Travel and can help you plan the perfect Disney vacation! Hey Ohana, On this week's show we take dive into a monumental undertaking... trying to figure out Hollywood Studios. Many Disney fans (us included) love Hollywood Studios, but feel like something is just a little off. It seems to have become more of the catchall for Disney attractions rather than the park telling a cohesive story. And so, along with our friends, Johanna, Jonathan, and Sean, we attempt to figure out the underlaying issue in Hollywood Studios, and to create a common thread to bring the park back together. We had so much to chat about (and to be honest, there are probably even more future episodes on this topic in the future) that we talked for nearly 2 hours! So we're sharing part 1 this week and then be sure to tune back in to catch part 2 next week! Be sure to also head over to our FB group to continue the conversation! We'll share some questions and discussion topics based on the episode for the Ohana to get involved with! Thanks for tuning in and as always... See Ya Real Soon! Along with fellow Ohana members: Chris Blagg, Jonathan Gardner, and Brian Sparkhawk, we share our brief (and o let's be honest, not-so brief) ideas for attractions around all 4 parks. Even after an hour and half of chatting we still have more on our lists so we'll definitely be revisiting this topic in the future too! But we'd also LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU! This episode keeps the Chronology Series train moving while also digging into current events surrounding the world of Pearl Jam. 2009 was a fresh year for the band. It was a renewed start as they brought back long time producer Brendan O'Brien into the studio to produce their 9th album, Backspacer. It was a more positive outlook for a band that spent the last three records exhausting frustration over war and other tragic moments, and that outlook was presented as such on stage. While we cover a hometown San Diego show for this episode, you can't talk 2009 without mentioning the impact that the final shows from The Spectrum had on this fanbase. This episode is a culmination of weeks of Javi dreading his least favorite era of Pearl Jam live. However, we put a challenge to the test to see if he could make it through the entire show without being irritated by the sonic staleness of the guitars from this tour, and you'll have to tune in to see how well he acquitted himself. It helps that this is a hometown show with some great stories that more than make up for the sounds not being up to par. We get to see music instructors of Ed and Matt join stage for Little Wing, and an outstanding cover of So You Want To Be A Rock 'n' Roll Star where Ed shares a fun story about his time trying to play music in San Diego. Oh, and I suppose it needs to be mentioned here that we have a show announcement! We'll react to the lineup announcement at Ohana and the questions that still remain after knowing that Pearl Jam will headline the third night. Ohana's Human-First Approach To AI In Flexible Short-Term And Mid-Term Rentals

What happens when the biggest innovation in housing isn't a luxury tower or another short-term rental app, but a platform built specifically for everyone caught in between? In this episode of Tech Talks Daily, I sat down with Ezra Gershanok, co-founder of Ohana, to unpack how his team is quietly reshaping the overlooked middle-term housing market. For years, people relocating for internships, new jobs, temporary projects, or extended travel have faced two bad choices. Either pay eye-watering hotel and Airbnb rates for months at a time or lock themselves into inflexible long-term leases they never really wanted. Ezra experienced this firsthand while relocating during his time at McKinsey, while his co-founder faced similar frustrations at Apple. Instead of accepting the problem as unavoidable, they built a marketplace around trust, flexibility, and human connection. What struck me throughout our conversation was how Ohana sits at the crossroads of technology, real-world problem solving, and changing work culture. The company has already processed more than $37 million in payments over the past year, with average booking values around $8,000 and average stays approaching 80 nights. Those numbers completely change the economics and psychology of online marketplaces. These are no longer casual weekend bookings. These are high-trust decisions involving real money, real relocation stress, and real human relationships. We explored how Ohana uses AI behind the scenes while deliberately keeping the customer experience deeply human. Hosts and guests are introduced on live match calls. Security deposits are held in escrow. Support teams actively facilitate trust between both sides. Ezra shared how the company uses AI to scale communication and operational workflows without replacing human interaction, something that feels increasingly rare in today's race toward automation. The conversation also touched on how employer partnerships with companies like OpenAI, Palantir Technologies, and Oracle are creating predictable housing demand for interns and new hires moving into expensive cities like New York City and London. Ezra explained why the platform initially gained traction among Chinese international students and how those same network effects are now accelerating growth in London. We also discussed the practical side of building a startup with no-code tools like Bubble, scaling globally with a tiny core team, balancing community standards with rapid growth, and why execution still matters more than ideas. Ezra offered refreshingly honest insights about persistence, operational discipline, and why solving an underserved problem often matters far more than building flashy technology. This episode is a fascinating look at how AI can actually support more meaningful human experiences instead of replacing them. It is also a conversation about trust, housing, modern mobility, and the growing realization that the way we live and work no longer fits neatly into old systems. So how will platforms like Ohana shape the future of temporary living as work becomes increasingly global, flexible, and distributed?   Please check the partners of the Tech Tech Talks Network Learn more about the NordLayer Browser Visit Denodo.com

What happens when you mix… A surprise resort upgrade… A once-in-a-lifetime concert at Epcot… Spring break crowds… Rainstorms… And a six-year-old who just gets Disney magic? You get one unforgettable story. This week on the Geekin' on Walt Disney World Podcast, Curtis catches up with Lindsay Velecina— A longtime member of the Geekin' family— Who brings not one… But two completely different Disney trips to the table. And somehow… They both end up pointing to the same thing. Travelin' Tiaras — Your Planning Advantage Before we jump in—if you're thinking about planning your next Disney trip… Curtis' wife Margita and Auntie Judy are the Travelin' Tiaras—your trusted Disney travel planners. They'll help you plan a smart, stress-free vacation tailored to your family. Already booked? You can transfer your reservation and still get their expert support—and it's a great way to support the show. TravelinTiaras@gmail.comOr reach out on Facebook Messenger And right now… there are great opportunities for upcoming travel, so it's a perfect time to start planning. Featuring This Week's Episode Lindsay shares two trips: A November getaway with family, built around seeing the Beach Boys at Epcot A spring break trip with her husband Ryan and son Henry—right in the middle of peak crowds Two very different experiences… But both packed with moments you'll recognize if you've ever done Disney. When Disney Turns Into Total Pandemonium The November trip started with what felt like a little Disney magic… A surprise upgrade to Port Orleans Riverside A last-minute dining reservation score And a plan to celebrate family milestones with a Beach Boys concert But once they got to Epcot? Absolute chaos. Crowds so intense they had to form a human chain just to move. Cast Members saying it felt worse than New Year's Eve. And yet… The energy… the excitement… the shared experience… Still made it worth it. Because sometimes Disney is messy. And still magical. Spring Break, Rainstorms… and Real-Life Disney Then came the spring break trip. And this one? Packed parks Long waits Unexpected cold weather And multiple nights of heavy rain Not exactly the “perfect” Disney conditions. But here's what stood out… They adjusted. They slowed down. They picked their moments. And instead of chasing everything… They focused on what mattered. The Food Hits (and Misses) This episode is loaded with food talk—and some surprises. Standouts included: Nine Dragons (yes… really ) Beaches & Cream classics Festival food favorites like frushi and poke bowls And a must-try brownie + cookie dough ice cream sandwich And then… Not everything hit. Ohana didn't live up to expectations this time. Which is a great reminder— Even Disney favorites can be hit or miss. The Unexpected Moments And then… the stories. Because this episode is FULL of them: A squirrel breaking into their backpack and stealing a cookie Spotting Jimmy Fallon casually grabbing food in the park Riding out storms and pivoting plans on the fly Finding ways to make the best of unpredictable days But the best one? A glow stick party in the hotel room. Simple. Unplanned. And one of the most memorable moments of the entire trip. The Real Magic of This Trip Here's what makes this episode special. It wasn't the rides. It wasn't the reservations. It wasn't even the big moments. It was Henry. Six years old… Fully immersed… Happy the entire trip. No meltdowns. No burnout. Just pure joy. And for Lindsay and her family? That made this their best trip yet. Even with crowds. Even with rain. Even with everything that didn't go perfectly. What This Episode Teaches Us If there's one takeaway from this episode, it's this: Disney doesn't have to be perfect to be amazing. In this replay, I'm bringing back a powerful conversation with Nathan Reynolds—diving into bloodlines, spiritual warfare, hidden systems of control, and the deeper layers most interviews never reach. This isn't a surface-level discussion. We get straight into the core topics—symbolism, programming, media influence, and the bigger picture behind what's really going on.This is a previously recorded interview, now re-uploaded with corrected audio. The original version had background music at the beginning that made it difficult for some listeners—this version has been fixed so you can experience the conversation clearly.Over the past few months, a lot has been happening behind the scenes, and several scheduled guests have canceled for various reasons. Instead of going quiet, I'm bringing back conversations that matter—and this is one of them.If you missed it the first time, now's your chance. And if you've already heard it, listen again—there's a lot in here worth catching twice. Follow the show, subscribe, and hit the bell so you don't miss what's coming next Want to be on the show or suggest a guest?I'm looking for guests who can speak on human trafficking, the paranormal, occult symbolism, hidden history, spiritual warfare, ancient mysteries, and specific military stories involving covert operations, secret programs, psychological warfare, unexplained events, and firsthand accounts.Email me at: Miya@wakeupwithmiya.com BUY ME A COFFEE LINK Support the Show & Stay Connected:Buy Me a Coffee: https://buymeacoffee.com/sensiblehippieJoin My Patreon for ad-free episodes & exclusive content:   / wakeupwithmiya  If you're joining Waiola – The Plus Side, please subscribe through a web browser (Safari or Chrome) instead of the Patreon app — it directly supports the show.Mahalo nui loa for supporting independent work and helping keep this platform growing.Shop my Amazon Storefront: https://www.amazon.com/shop/profile/a...Follow Me Online: Instagram:   / wakeupwithmiya  Facebook:   / wakeupwithmiya  Exclusive Discount!Shop at LVNTA: https://lvnta.com/lv_IcTq5EmoFKaZfJhTiSUse code OHANA for 20% off!Listen on Your Favorite Platform: Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube, and everywhere podcasts are available!RATE & REVIEW: Apple: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast...Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/0UYrXCg...Music Credits:Beginning: "Echoes in the Shadows" - DK End Music: “Crazy” - Eko#NathanReynolds #SpiritualWarfare #Bloodlines #Replay #HiddenTruth #WakeUpWithMiya #MindControl #OccultSymbolismBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/wake-up-with-miya--6339129/support.
