Send us a Text Message.Julia Marie shares two stories from an unpublished manuscript she wrote over a decade ago titled I'm Awake, Now What? These stories are both about how two different people from different walks of life and different parts of the world follow - and in one case, learn from - their intuition.Listen to the stories, and learn from a young business owner and an English woman I met on Mount Shasta in September of 2001 while I was following guidance from Spirit. I didn't know why I was there, but it soon became apparent to me - and I share that story in my book Signals from My Soul: A Spiritual Memoir of Awakening. The first story is from an English woman who had never traveled very far from her home, and when she did, it was always in the company of others. Then Spirit challenged her to spread her intuitive wings. Her assignment? To take an unplanned trip within the week to a place she had never been before. Alone. And to follow her guidance every step of the way. It's a wonderful example of what happens when we listen, trust, and follow, even when we don't know where we are headed! The second story is about a naturally intuitive young business owner who saw the signs, but wanted to finish a long-overdue job despite the warnings. We learn from these experiences, too. I'm ecstatic to sit down for this insightful conversation with Isabelle Griffith, the Founder of The School Of Somatic Leadership For Women™, on this episode of the Prosperous Empath®. Isabelle is a Somatic and Embodied Feminine Leadership coach. Her life's work is to help women break the internalized narratives that are keeping them feeling stressed, depleted, burnt out, and doubting their worth. After spending 20 years in the corporate world and having two beautiful children, she found herself severely burned out - although her seemingly perfect life “ticked” all the boxes. For Isabelle, experiencing burnout was a doorway to reconnecting with her feminine essence and discovering that a completely different way of life and leadership was possible. Many women live in their masculine energy by default, not tapping into the part of them that's cyclical instead of linear. Through our conversation, Isabelle and I uncover how to find a renewed sense of inner authority, regulate your nervous system, and, most importantly, what it means to be an embodied feminine leader. Topics: Isabelle's story of following the blueprint for the perfect life yet feeling completely broken and self-critical and how burnout was her doorway to transformation and change Recognizing where you're living in your masculine and embarking on a tender journey of reclamation of your feminine The idea that conventional leadership is portrayed in a very masculine way (a man in a suit) and what it means to become an embodied feminine leader Becoming attuned to your body's wisdom, emotions, and fluctuations, and regulating your nervous system to improve and expand your quality of being Learning how to trust yourself and the natural unfolding of life instead of being too attached to your goals and certain outcomes Episode Resources: Join us on April 15th at 12pm ET for our monthly Non-Networking Power Hour for Empath Entrepreneurs with our UNBOUNDED Mastermind Community for deep connections and meaningful support. If you've been a part of my community for a while, you know that intuition is one of my favorite topics to discuss. This is why I'm so excited to sit down with Jill L. Ferguson, serial entrepreneur, best-selling author, and international speaker, to talk about embracing your intuition and following a non-linear path in business and, perhaps even more importantly, life. Jill started her first business at the age of eighteen and has been in-and-out of self-employment ever since, authoring dozens of books and exploring different passions, from painting & photography to consulting & coaching. She learned early on that there's no straight path to entrepreneurship, but along the way she has learned the importance of following your gut, saying yes to opportunities, and learning to trust yourself. Jill believes that all of us - especially Highly Sensitive People (HSPs) and empaths - were born with divine creativity within us. Yet, in a world that's so focused on “staying on track,” cultivating a strong sense of self and giving yourself permission to explore is no easy feat. Jill and I have a vulnerable and insightful discussion today about unpacking people-pleasing, taking creative action, and living authentically. If you find it hard to give yourself permission to do things your own way, you'll undoubtedly learn a lot and walk away inspired from this episode. Topics: The idea that we're put on a linear path as small children and that even though many linear notions are ingrained in our brains, entrepreneurship, life, religion, education, relationships - none of it has to be linear Recognizing when you're making choices to fulfill other people's expectations vs. your own and learning to trust yourself Giving up on the notion that you have to run your business a certain way to be successful and building processes that feel authentic to you Living as a human being, not a human doing, and embracing passion, openness, and creativity Learning to block out the noise around you, connect deeper with your intuition, and approach life playfully Episode Resources: Join us on April 15th at 12pm ET for our monthly Non-Networking Power Hour for Empath Entrepreneurs with our UNBOUNDED Mastermind Community for deep connections and meaningful support. If you've ever been in a season of business where you find yourself following everyone else's advice over your own, this episode is for you! Natashia's journey of being an entrepreneur in this online space is one that a LOT of us can resonate with. A little over a year ago, she found herself stuck, lost, and completely out of love with her business (not an ideal place to be when you work for yourself lol). But it was from that place that she was truly able to learn how to come home to herself; which included getting clear on her mission & vision, and gaining confidence in how she shows up in the world. What we love so much about Natashia is that she's willing to be super transparent, while laughing & dropping nuggets of wisdom along the way. If you're looking for a conversation that's going to inspire you to come back to YOU, regardless of how that path looks, you're going to love this episode! Sydney Forbes was frustrated with the lack of education and options for people dealing with this issue and is empowering individuals to take control of their well-being by breaking the silence around this taboo subject and creating her own category within oral care. After earning a degree in Bioengineering from Oregon State University, Sydney is now challenging the outdated, male-dominated oral care industry, with her fresh perspective and specifically designed solutions for removing tonsil stones. Welcome listeners. This is episode 2 of season 4 and I'm really glad you're here. You may notice that the podcast format has changed for this season as I'm sharing my story of buying a historic and haunted home in Lambertville NJ on the day of Covid lockdown. I tell this story as a means to inspire us all how to face and embrace the darkness within, how to sit in discomfort and to heal the ghosts of our past. Weaved throughout this season we will also discover the various ways spirit talks to us, and we'll talk to experts in the field of metaphysics, mediumship and other spiritual teachings. This episode I introduce you to the specifics of the house and the stories that began shortly after I moved in. Some that seem benign - huge spiders, bats in the bedroom, stolen items..but combined with the rest of the story, I believe you'll start to see the energy that is becoming palpable at the house. The found objects I either still have or have pictures of, and the dreams - the male energy present who violated me many times over - has become one of the main characters in my one-woman show and the screenplay. I hope you enjoy this storytelling, and I'd love to hear feedback. Oh, and please share it with your friends! Thanks for listening! Follow leah on IG, FB & TK @leahthemodernsage for more!

"And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom." -Anais NinYou are your own greatest source of Wisdom. This is the message being shared in this Divine Feminine solo episode on trusting & following your truth & intuition. It can be scary to listen to the little voice inside, nudging you towards your destiny. Or to follow your passion and inspirations even when others tell you that they're silly, ridiculous, or impossible. Nothing is impossible in our infinite Universe, therefore anything you dream up can be done. You just have to trust what you know and feel to be true, act on it, and allow it to come forth into the World. On this Divine Feminine solo episode I share what I mean by following your intuition and trusting your truth and offer some ways to connect with your truth, honor it, and discover the magic hidden within it.Nature Whispers Oracle Deck; https://blueangelonline.com/shop/card-decks/oracle-cards/natures-whispers/Join the Women Waken Community on Instagram Here: https://tinyurl.com/522duz2c Feel free to reach out to me to see how we can work together and send your questions, feedback, and requests for future solo episodes here: Whitney Walker, LMFTLicense # 107082www.WomenWaken.comhttps://www.psychologytoday.com/profi...Whitney@WomenWaken.comIG: @WomenwakenYoutube: @womenwaken
