In this episode of Everything Made Beautiful, I sit down with my longtime friend, David Nasser — a powerful communicator, gifted evangelist, and someone whose personal journey has impacted thousands. David shares his compelling story of fleeing Iran as a child, finding faith in Jesus at 18, and discovering that pastoring wasn't just a profession, but a natural extension of who he is.We talk about what it means to live on mission, no matter your vocation, and the importance of embracing how God uniquely hardwires each of us for Kingdom work. David reflects on his years leading the world's largest collegiate ministry and how young adults are uniquely positioned to discover their calling. We also dive into the brand-new From Grief to Glory Holy Week video series we recorded together with QAVA — a journey through the final days of Jesus' life, one day at a time. David shares what surprised him most as he revisited these familiar stories, how his personal grief brought new depth to Silent Saturday, and why we can't afford to skip over the harder moments on our way to resurrection. This conversation is real, rich, and rooted in the reminder that we are resurrection people — not just on Easter Sunday, but every day. Sara talks with Seth Eliot Santoro, author, speaker, coach, HR Advisor, Intuitive, about losing your smile and finding it again. They talk about resilience and finding joy. By the time he was thirty-two years old, Seth has already cheated death three times, narrowly escaped two kidnappings, and lost five good friends within a very brief period of time. Being ill-prepared for these events, he searched to find a resource that would help him, to no avail. So, instead, he developed the S.M.I.L.E. method for healing and wrote the first book in a series, “Smile From The Inside!” a book on healing and overcoming trauma in this crazy modern world. Seth then wrote the second book in that series, “From Grief to GRACE,” and developed the G.R.A.C.E. method for healing your past traumas/challenges once and for all. He thought if these concepts could work for him, then they might just work for someone else. He and Sara go over the S.M.I.L.E approach and also his G.R.A.C.E steps. These help people struggling from grief, whether from divorce, loss of a loved one, loss of a job, whatever it may be. They talk about re-framing your mind, re-engaging in the present, finding happiness again, AND creating a better legacy, future, and fulfilling life. Get your notebooks ready! Things are always going to be changing. It's ok to grieve and let go. But you can choose what to do with your grief. Will you choose to pour more love into it? To create something even more beautiful than you can imagine? That's the journey that our guest has chosen to take. Today we welcome Vesna Vavladellis back to the circle to have a conversation around what it means to be trained in an indigenous way, what it means to be in a circle and to learn and have access to that, and to explore grief and how it can go hand in hand with love. In this episode we're exploring: The different kind of work required to lead indigenous circles What first brought Vesna to my circles The different way we look at breath in indigenous circles The Path of IX's new ceremony which Vesna is a ceremonialist in, From Grief to Freedom, and her passage with grief What it looks like to walk through ancestral grief and how it's shown up in Vesna's life Her journey of 40 days of mourning How food has helped Vesna on this journey What happens when you take a leap into the unknown And so much more Connect with Vesna: https://instagram.com/vesnavav Learn more about working with her and participating in her events: https://www.vesnavavladellis.com/ Become a patron of Walking With our Shadow today.
