Opa, tudo bem?
After Mike made a name for himself as the world's most passionate pillow salesman, he also made a name for himself as the world's most passionate election integrity skeptic. The first one made him a lot of money. The second one made him a lot of enemies. While the first amendment protects us from going to prison for what we believe, it doesn't protect us from endless lawfare and corporate cowardice. That's why we're proposing First Amendment 2.0. It's like the original one, only better...somehow. Hey, we're idea guys, not lawyers. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

The digital marketing maturity race belongs to the swift.
Tigz was the man with the microphone as Bournemouth fans reacted outside Dean Court after witnessing a second half comeback where two goals from Phil Billing and Ryan Christie managed to banish the blues of a frustrating first 45, where Leicester took the lead despite having fewer efforts on goal. It was a deserved 2-1 victory against rejuvenated Foxes, who were buoyant after their recent 4-0 win over East Midlands rivals Nottingham Forest, but with the Cherries unbeaten under Gary O'Neil, it was set up for a mouthwatering clash - not least because the home side would be looking to impress in front of their brand new owner Bill Foley. Later in the show, Tom and Sam are at the Pear at Parley to go over Saturday's epic win, a performance which saw us rise to eighth in the Premier League after match week 9. Two lifelong Aston Villa fans take a light-hearted look at the highs & lows of supporting the world's best football team.Steven Gerrard got a win over his former manager, Brendan Rodgers, on Sunday as his Aston Villa side gained a solid 2-1 victory against Leicester City. George & Frankie discuss how the game followed a similar pattern to the previous City match, where Villa were somewhat unconvincing in the first-half but raised their game impressively in the second-half.There is high praise again for Marvelous Nakamba and especially John McGinn, who was exceptional at Villa Park. George & Frankie also discuss Gerrard's tactical approach and how Villa looked comfortable and effective at changing formation during a game.In the 'Spicy Question' feature, the hosts give their thoughts on whether Tyrone Mings has done enough to keep the Villa captaincy (spoiler alert, they both really like Mings). We also look ahead to Saturday's game at Anfield against a hugely in-form Liverpool. The match of course will see Gerrard return to Anfield, meaning there will be high emotion and drama surrounding the game... but can Villa get a result? Frankie & George believe it is possible, though stopping Mo Salah, who is arguably the world's best player, will be no simple task.GET IN TOUCHTwitter: @VillaNoFillerInstagram: @allvillanofillerFacebook: All Villa No FillerEmail: allvillanofiller@gmail.comHOSTS: George Zielinski (@ZielinskiGeorge) / Frankie Maguire (@FrankieMaguire)PRODUCTION: Frankie Maguire See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

"President Trump on Wednesday signed into law a multibillion-dollaremergency aid package aimed at helping Americans impacted by thecoronavirus," The Hill reported Wednesday. It will go into effect in15 days. The measure, which was previously approved by the House ofRepresentatives, passed the Senate Wednesday in a 90-8 vote. It"includes provisions offering paid leave benefits for Americans, bolstered unemployment benefits and free diagnostic testing for thevirus," The Hill noted. What does this mean for the US economy duringthis coronavirus outbreak? On Tuesday, "Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) deportedthirty-three people from the Northwest Detention Center (NWDC) toMexico and possibly other countries," the Yakima Immigrant ResponseNetwork wrote in a Thursday Facebook post. The network "reported theon-boarding at Yakima Airport of thirty men and three women, all fromthe NWDC in Tacoma, [Washington], a facility located in greaterSeattle, a region with the highest number of COVID-19-related deaths.Despite Governor Jay Inslee's recommendation to limit as much aspossible large gatherings under fifty people, to practice socialdistancing at all times, and the Center for Disease Control's (CDC)recommendation to cancel all non-essential plane travel, especiallyinternational travel, ICE continues its unnecessary forcedtransportation of immigrants and migrants across the country andbeyond the US border, endangering the lives of detained people andpotentially further spreading the Coronavirus from the hardest-hitmetropolitan area in North America. These deportations reveal anagency failing to respect the United States government's efforts tocontain the novel COVID-19 pandemic. As ICE continues its assault onimmigrants and migrants, behaving as if this is a time for business asusual — detaining, deporting, and denying entry to asylum seekers —its actions now far exceed the domain of immigration enforcement."What's going on here?"Brazilians on Wednesday held what was described as the largestprotest against far-right President Jair Bolsonaro to date, but thedemonstration did not take place in the streets," Common Dreamsreported Thursday. What's going on in Brazil? "Instead, voluntarilyconfined to their homes to prevent the spread of the novelcoronavirus, millions of people in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro tookto their balconies and windows to demand Bolsonaro's ouster over hishandling of the COVID-19 outbreak, which the president continues todownplay even after more than a dozen members of his inner circletested positive for the disease."
Check out what she has to say about it, along with much more. "Outfox": #1 New York Times bestselling author Sandra Brown combines heart-stopping suspense and forbidden passion in this psychological thriller about an FBI agent's hunt for a ruthless conman turned serial killer FBI agent Drex Easton is relentlessly driven by a single goal: to outmaneuver the conman once known as Weston Graham. Over the past thirty years, Weston has assumed many names and countless disguises, enabling him to lure eight wealthy women out of their fortunes before they disappeared without a trace, their families left without answers and the authorities without clues. The only common trait among the victims: a new man in their life who also vanished, leaving behind no evidence of his existence . . . except for one signature custom. Drex is convinced that these women have been murdered, and that the man he knows as Weston Graham is the sociopath responsible. But each time Drex gets close to catching him, Weston trades one persona for another and disappears again. Now, for the first time in their long game of cat and mouse, Drex has a suspect in sight. Attractive and charming, Jasper Ford is recently married to a successful businesswoman many years his junior, Talia Shafer. Drex insinuates himself into their lives, posing as a new neighbor and setting up surveillance on their house. The closer he gets to the couple, the more convinced he becomes that Jasper is the clever, merciless predator he's sought--and that his own attraction to Talia threatens to compromise his purpose and integrity. This is Drex's one chance to outfox his cunning nemesis before he murders again and eludes justice forever. But first he must determine if the desirable Talia is a heartless accomplice . . . or the next victim.

Steven Long, the founder of the collapsed inheritance planning firm, Universal Wealth Preservation, has been jailed for eight months for failing to disclose the whereabouts of his clients' money. It's now emerged that at least twenty-five million pounds has gone missing. Money Box hears from Shivani Varma, the solicitor acting for around 30 claimants who have lost millions of pounds and talks to one client who attended the High Court hearing about what it was like when the prison sentence was handed down. Overdraft charges: The Financial Conduct Authority announced major changes this week to how banks charge us for accidentally slipping into the red. It wants to stop firms charging higher prices when customers use an unarranged overdraft and bring an end to fixed daily and monthly fees. Instead the banks will have to charge customers one simple rate of interest on the money owed. But, given that overdraft charges bring in around £4.2 billion a year for the banks, how will they recoup those lost monies? Professor Peter Hahn of the London Institute of Banking and Finance gives his assessment of the planned changes. Are you going bust? To be blunt, no! That was the first of eight questions in a Q&A sent out this week by the energy supplier, Outfox the Market, to its 100,000 customers. So many of them have been contacting the firm that the energy regulator Ofgem tweeted this week that it was in "active discussions with the supplier regarding their customer service issues". Money Box hears from one frustrated Outfox customer about the problems he's been having trying to contact the firm to get back £500 credit he's due and we hear from energy analyst, Ellen Fraser of Baringa on this latest development. Down down down. That was share prices in London and indeed in much of the world in the last full trading week of the year. And it matters to most of us as our pensions and ISAs will be affected. Share prices are normally measured by the FTSE100 index - the average of the shares in the hundred biggest companies on the London Stock Exchange. It ended the week 12% down on a year ago. and nearly a third less than its value at the start of this century. So is investment bust? I minusgrader.
Money Box reporter Dan Whitworth investigates complaints from customers of a small energy supplier, Outfox the Market, who suddenly found themselves facing huge increases to their direct debit payments. Outfox the Market emailed Anna and her husband Rob to say their direct debit amounts would be split, meaning they would pay much more during winter and less in summer. The couple are already around £200 in credit on their account so they decided to switch supplier. Outfox the Market say the direct debit change would average out over the year. Following its administration deal with its lenders the pension fund of news publisher Johnston Press is being placed under Pension Protection Fund (PPF) rules.
