Now that 80Bites is gaining an audience, it's really interesting to hear people's reactions. Some think 80 bites means the number of bites you take in one meal, while others believe it refers to 80 chews. It's all part of the shift from what you eat to how much._____Follow PhysicalMind Institute on Instagram or Facebook and subscribe to our newsletter.Visit the PhysicalMind Institute shop.

Breathe Pictures Photography Podcast: Documentaries and Interviews
In this holiday archive special, I'm joined by two remarkable photographers whose work has shaped how we see the world: Joel Meyerowitz and Ed Kashi. Both share how they found their craft, revealing personal stories and the ethos that guides their creative lives. I think, this will stand as one of the most inspirational editions I have edited for the Photowalk show. Joel reflects further upon his time documenting Ground Zero in the Aftermath project of 9/11. As the only photographer granted unrestricted access, he created a comprehensive archive that stands as a testament to resilience and remembrance to this day. He shares how this experience reshaped his perspective on photography and its role in chronicling history. Ed talks with me about 'The Sandwich Generation,' a deeply personal project where he and his wife, filmmaker Julie Winokur, documented their journey of moving cross-country to care for Julie's ageing father, Herb, who suffered from dementia. Through this intimate lens, Ed discusses the emotional complexities of caregiving and challenges the common misconceptions about photojournalism, emphasising its capacity to tell profound personal stories beyond the headlines. This episode is about the narratives that shape our understanding of humanity and the measures of success that go beyond accolades. Links to all guests and features will be on the showpage, my sincere thanks to Arthelper and LOWA who sponsor this show, plus our Extra Milers without whom we wouldn't be walking each week. Send us a textSpecial thanks to Women of Iron Unite for making this episode possible. Founded on October 10th amid the pain of Operation Iron Sword, three courageous women from Crown Heights united to protect Eretz Yisroel by inspiring prayer, unity, and tznius within our community. Organized by Sarale Blau, Rivky Perl, and Ruthie Sperlin, their initiative continues to empower women to take small steps toward growth and holiness even in challenging times.Modesty (tznius) is one of the most sensitive, often misunderstood topics in the Jewish world. It's not just about clothing—it's about identity, confidence, dignity, and connection to something deeper. In this thought-provoking episode of From the Inside Out, we sit down with two incredible guests: Rivky Slonim, a powerhouse in Jewish education, and Joyce Azria, former fashion executive turned modesty advocate. Together, we unravel the layers of tznius—why it's challenging, what it truly means beyond fabric and rules, and how it can be a source of empowerment rather than restriction.Joyce shares her journey from the high-fashion world to embracing modesty, revealing the unexpected luxury and confidence it brings. Rivka offers profound insights on what tznius really is (hint: it's NOT just about covering up) and how it's deeply tied to self-respect, spirituality, and personal growth. We also explore topics like navigating modesty in professional spaces, finding joy in mitzvos even when they feel hard, and how to inspire the next generation without force or judgment.Rivkah Slonim is the Associate Director at the Chabad Center for Jewish Student Life at Binghamton University. An internationally known teacher, lecturer, and activist, she travels widely, addressing the intersection of traditional Jewish observance and contemporary life, with a special focus on Jewish women in Jewish law and life. Slonim is the editor of Total Immersion: A Mikvah Anthology and Bread and Fire; Jewish Women find God in the Everyday. Slonim and her husband are the grateful and proud parents of nine children. Daughter of the late Max Azria, she grew up in “fashion royalty,” but her journey from Chanel to Shabbat reshaped her approach—shifting from creating value-driven brands to leading with her values as an Orthodox Jewish woman. Now co-founder of The Healer's Collection, Joyce shares her passion, spirituality, and rich experiences to inspire audiences nationwide. She lives in Miami, Florida, with her children. Philippians 2:1-111 So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy, 2 complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. 3 Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. 4 Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. 5 Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, 6 who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7 but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. 9 Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, 10 so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

CHIMDI M. OHAHUNA|COMMANDING THE YEAR 2025| RESTORATION Series - DAY 25: REDEFINING TRUE FORTUNE Welcome to the grand finale of our Restoration Series. In this concluding episode, we reflect on Psalm 126:4, "Restore Our Fortunes, Oh LORD," and look into the profound understanding of fortune and restoration from a divine perspective. Fortune, often associated with wealth, can change as times change. Hence, our trust must be in God, not in fleeting fortunes. The true wealth of a person lies in their character, not in monetary riches. Jesus exemplified this by being rich in glory, not finances. As we redefine fortune, it's crucial to realize that competing with darkness instead of shining the light of the Gospel is not the Church's calling. Every time we chase after earthly fortune, it pulls us away from true worship. Worship is not just about songs; it's a lifestyle for the New Creation. Restoration calls us back to where we missed it, with Christ in us as the hope of glory. For believers, fortune is not a prosperity achieved through luck but by grace. Misinterpretations of the word of truth have led to many feeling unfortunate, but understanding fortune correctly brings true prosperity. Who we are is determined by our inner self, not our environment. Even if our surroundings are limited, it does not mean we are limited. Without understanding fortune, believers can feel unfortunate, but with God's wisdom and the continuous inflow of His Word, we thrive and rise above our circumstances. We must be attuned to the flow of God's Word in this season of restoration. Restoration involves a constant intake of God's Word, leading to spiritual growth and transformation. Each wave of restoration is massive, driven by a fresh understanding of our identity in Christ. Join us in this powerful finale as we explore the true meaning of fortune, the importance of character, and the role of grace in our prosperity. Discover how to stay focused on God rather than material wealth and embrace the lifestyle of worship that marks the New Creation. Tune in for an enlightening and uplifting session on allowing God's Word to shape our understanding of fortune and experiencing the profound restoration He promises. Let's end this series with a renewed sense of purpose, faith, and gratitude for God's unfailing love and grace. LORD, HELP US TO TRUST IN YOU AND EMBRACE THE TRUE FORTUNE OF YOUR RESTORATION. Grace to you! Jesus is Lord. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/gracelife-comi/support

Have a question you want answered? Submit it here!Plenty of research talks about how a parent's interaction with their child will affect that child's future. It's called attachment theory, which boils down to the consistency and the quality of a parent's interaction with their child. The research shows there are four primary outcomes in attachment theory, but the only positive one is secure attachment. Secure attachment means that the child will believe that mom and dad will always be there when they need them. There are seven characteristics of strong families, the most important being quantity of time, not quality. The question is, what is most important to you? Financial stability is vital for any family, but is there a way to balance your work and family life?Your Host: Kimberly Beam Holmes, Expert in Self-Improvement and RelationshipsKimberly Beam Holmes has applied her master's degree in psychology for over ten years, acting as the CEO of Marriage Helper & CEO and Creator of PIES University, being a wife and mother herself, and researching how attraction affects relationships. In this episode of the Thoughtful Entrepreneur, your host Josh Elledge speaks to the Business Mentor of Risepreneur, Inc, Boruch Akbosh. Many entrepreneurs, especially owner-operators, reach a point where they feel burnt out and stuck, unable to make that crucial breakthrough in their business. Boruch Akbosh has seen this time and time again, and he's made it his mission to help these individuals overcome the challenges that come with scaling up. His approach involves implementing processes that not only alleviate the workload but also speed up operations, ensuring that the business can grow without the usual pains of turnover and inefficiency. One of the most striking points Boruch made was the importance of focusing on profits rather than just sales and revenue. It's a common misconception that high sales automatically equate to a successful business. However, without healthy profit margins, the valuation of your business suffers, and it becomes less attractive to potential investors. Boruch stresses the need to evaluate both financial and operational indicators, as well as the quality of efforts put into the business, to ensure that every action taken is an investment in the future, not just an expense. The journey to scaling up and increasing profitability can be daunting, but Boruch offers a lifeline in the form of resources, blueprints, and templates designed to help entrepreneurs elevate their businesses. In the recent episode of the Straight Truth Podcast, Dr. Josh Philpot and Dr. Richard Caldwell explore the nuanced perspective of church growth and success, challenging the common belief that numerical expansion indicates health and vitality in a church. Dr. Caldwell emphasizes that equating growth with success can be perilous, advocating instead for a definition of success rooted in fidelity to the Word of God and Christ's imparted responsibilities to the church. Highlighting principles like faithful shepherding, biblical baptism, and addressing sin within the church community, he underscores that while numerical and financial increases in a congregation might seem encouraging, they should not be the focal point, as they can invite a potentially detrimental, pragmatic approach to ministry. Dr. Caldwell urges churches to prioritize spiritual faithfulness over growth strategies, aligning actions with biblically expressed ministry goals and celebrating genuine conversions and spiritual maturation as blessings, not direct objectives, of a devoted church body.

#entrepreneur #smallbusiness #podcast #howtoWhat is success? What is success to you? Everyone has varying ideas of of what success looks like for them. Don't base you idea of success on what it looks like for someone else. This can lead to a great deal of sadness in the end. Be honest with yourself on what you feel is success to you and what makes you happy. This often requires time away from other peoples opinions. I find that happiness on some level involves growth and progression. It's important to use that indicator to navigate your way to success
