So pleased to be able to share with you the work of my dear friend Pamela Gregory. Pamela Gregory is a Forgiveness Therapist and EFT Practitioner specializing in the field of psychoneuroimmunology. She is the Founder of Forgiveness Healing For Humanity and has a private practice counseling clients around the world in Forgiveness Healing. In this interview she explains the role forgiveness plays in overcoming trauma and healing from illness. By blending the science of psychoneuroimmunology and the spiritual practice of forgiveness, she developed a unique protocol called The Forgiveness Healing Process.™. The Forgiveness Healing Process is a body, mind, spirit approach that addresses healing at all three levels. It's important to understand, one cannot separate the body from the mind. Most individuals who receive a serious diagnosis focus on resolving the physical aspect of healing, however, addressing only the physical body leaves out two-thirds of the equation. For years, Pamela has wanted to offer the same guidance used in her private/one-on-one sessions to a group audience so many people could benefit simultaneously. Launching August 2024, Pamela will be offering Live, online group Forgiveness Healing sessions via Zoom. These group sessions are offered at no charge. Donations are appreciated as an exchange, however, if funds are tight she is honored to help you just the same. And like a rare and refined liquor, when mixed by deft hand, the results are a most intoxicating ambrosia. This ephemeral and elusive style of intelligence required, we hope is not lost on you, shines through with the steady glow of an Alchemists Stone when Chris speaks. He started writing books about the things he loves; travel, music, baseball and popular culture. For about 10 years he had a weekly column in the Los Angeles Times and wrote for the Huffington Post for about six years. He appeared on many TV and radio shows. Currently he is working on several book projects he is thrilled about, along with a couple of television projects that he is equally excited to get involved with. He also recently designed a writing course that is quite satisfying for him to teach.

Something akin to cinematic anthropology comes to mind when considering the work of the fantastic Kim Taylor Reece. Very few people are artistically able to simultaneously access the deep truth of another culture's beauty, while effortlessly projecting a nuanced vision, maintaining both the depth of the original authentic spirit, alongside the fingerprint of the artist, synergistically in its presentation. Mr.Reece does just that and more, with his lens he has done a noble task, bringing the world to the interior of Hawaiian culture's historical physical language of hula kahiko, an unbroken verse passed via osmosis, direct transmission, from one generation onto the next, a signal sent from the innumerable past, pulsing with life in its active expression. With such care, love, and reverence, all evidently apparent in his work, Kim Taylor Reece has inextricably linked himself to this lineage. Continuing to achieve wonders towards Hawaiian hula's continuation, preservation, and exposure to the outside world. With pleasure we present this rare interview with this exquisite living master of the photographic art, Kim Taylor Reece.Hawaii's foremost fine art photographer, Kim has been studying the hula kahiko for 40 years. A catalyst of Hawaii's cultural renaissance of the 80s, his photography captures the mystery and magic of this dance, which for generations has excited the imaginations of people around the world. In his research, Kim has traveled with the Hawaii State Foundation of Culture and the Arts, enabling him to study and work with dancers from more than 35 different Pacific Islands. His extensive research of costumes and dances of the early Hawaiians captures the spirit and essence of this ancient ritual. His unique style has established the visual standards for hula kahiko. As millions encounter Kim's work every day, his art helps to preserve the hula and enrich lives. Kim's award winning photography has brought him worldwide recognition. Over the years Kim has received 15 Pele Awards, Print Magazine Awards, The First Kahili Award HVB, Travel Journalism Awards, and National Community Service Awards. His images have been acquired by collectors, dignitaries, and collections internationally. He studied art at Long Beach State in California and was told to change majors due to his color blindness. He uses this to his advantage in capturing the subtleties of the hula kahiko in black and white. He uses the sepia tone to represent the timelessness of the dance. For those who appreciate the hula, Kim Taylor Reece has devoted his talents to the celebration of Hawaii's ancient dance. e komo mai - come and experience.Styled by OnQueStylehttps://onquestyle.comDress: Brand: Flying TomatoName: Photo Finish Woven Mini DressDescription: This gorgeous dress from Flying Tomato's is perfect for this time of year! As CEO and founder of one of the fastest-growing privately held companies in America and contributing member of the Forbes Agency Council, Anthony has a unique approach to bringing a diverse group of people, ideas and perspectives together to build solutions that address and overcome complex challenges facing California like the cost of living, modernization of the education system, post statewide shutdown recovery of businesses, homelessness crisis, healthcare, water, fire resources in our local communities. While this may be his first political campaign, his family has a rich history of looking ahead to build a better future—without the overreaching involvement of government.Anthony's grandparents fled Cuba during Castro's revolution. They sought the promise of the American Dream right here in California—for their family and for their children. They rolled up their sleeves, started a small business that still exists in Los Angeles, CA today and built a life they could be proud of.Like his parents and grandparents before him, Anthony was born with an entrepreneurial spirit and a deep desire to build something from the ground up. He saw that the system was setup to keep minorities dependent on government and didn't promote independence or self-reliance. Wanting to blaze a trail for those who would have the courage to follow, he started his first business in Los Angeles.“Our first meal as a family in our new apartment was Hamburger Helper—without the hamburger. We just didn't have any more than that, but we had each other and our faith. That was enough.” Despite adversity, he thrived.“I know first-hand what it's like to have sleepless nights worrying about providing for your family. But I also know the potential that California offers. Through tenacity, hard work, faith and the entrepreneurial spirit instilled in me by my parents and their parents, I created something better in California for my family and for others.”Today, the business he started over 20 years ago is flourishing. Over the past year, while politicians were busy closing business and choking our economy, Anthony was busy creating jobs and providing opportunities. Traffik was named the fastest growing privately held company by Inc 5000.“Through my agency, I get to work with global brands, innovative startups and Fortune 500 companies to create solutions that drive demand and establish deeply meaningful connections between brands and their audiences. We constantly push ourselves to apply data in more effective ways, engage audiences across every touchpoint, develop innovative solutions and reimagine traditional models to improve the lives of our clients' audiences by empowering highly informed decisions through authentic, deeply meaningful engagement.”

In this interview we are so blessed and beyond excited to present this conversation with global Art Superstar Wyland! An icon on the landscape of mural painting, sculpture, oceanic conservation, and more, we are honored to release this rare in person long form talk with this true legend. He's epitomized the look and tone of underwater wildlife depiction in contemporary art, been a major driver for oceanic wellness and conservation, and as it turns out has had a blast doing it. Rarely do we in life encounter a person who radiates such unity of thought and action, who's singularity of vision has sculpted the world around them, and who has kept their authenticity through and though while shinning imagination on the world so effectively. A true visionary and world class inspiration to us all, well let Wylan take it from here! Internationally renowned marine life artist Wyland is one of the most celebrated and recognized artists of our time. An innovative painter, sculpture, writer, photographer, philanthropist, and filmmaker, he captured the imagination of people everywhere by completing over one hundred monumental marine life murals around the world from 1981-2008. The project, known as the Whaling Walls, remains one of the largest public arts projects in history and continues to be seen by an estimated one billion people each year... An avid SCUBA diver and world traveler, the Detroit-born artist has been hailed a “Marine Michaelangelo” by USA Today and recognized for his art and conservation efforts by the United Nations and on the floor of Congress. His giant ocean mural on the convention center in Long Beach, Calif., covering over 3 acres, landed him in the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest mural ever painted. Several years later in recognition of Earth Day, he doubled the size of that mural by completing the largest portrait of the earth on earth on the building's three-acre roof -- in only twenty-four hours. In fact, no artist in history has painted more surface area that today is now measured in acres. His newest public art project, 100 Monumental Sculptures in 100 Great Cities around the world, includes plans to sculpt all the great whale species, as well as endangered and threatened animals from the IUCN Red List. Ten of these monumental sculptures will be underwater. “My art has always been about art and conservation,” Wyland says. “I was inspired in the early 70s by Green Peace, the first Earth Day, and from watching my hero Jacques Cousteau's Undersea World television series. I was simply an artist in the right place at the right time in history, and I felt strongly that art could play an important role in bringing attention to environmental issues.” Wyland's early inspiration grew upon seeing the ocean for the first time during a family visit to Laguna Beach, Calif., in 1971, when he was fourteen years old. The sight of a mother and baby gray whale migrating near the shore eventually inspired him to paint those same two whales on a life-size scale on an adjacent building in 1981. After the completion of the mural, he committed himself to creating one hundred ocean murals around the world as a gift to communities. He painted his 100th Whaling Wall mural in Beijing for the Cultural Olympics as the official artist for the US Olympic team. Today, Wyland art is collected in all fifty states and more than one hundred countries. He founded Wyland Galleries in 1978 with his first studio gallery in Laguna Beach where he lives today, and has influenced numerous traditional and street artists, including L.A.-based O.G. Slick. In 1993, he founded the non-profit Wyland Foundation as part of his continuing effort to inspire millions of people to take action to ensure clean water and a healthy planet through art, science, and conservation. The Wyland Foundation has partnered with the UN for the Wyland World Water Pledge to encourage allseven billion people

It's still going strong, but in its most prolific years the band sold more than 50,000 albums, with “Psychedelic Surf Groove”, and 10,000 with “State of the Nation, Now and Then”. A couple of his songs have made it to Hollywood. “Never Give Up” is a big song that made it into the movie, Speed Two, and “In Your Eyes” was in the Kingpin movie, which Nick says has got a cult following.Recently Nick recorded music with Wyland as a benefit following the Gulf oil spill disaster, a trio of albums called Blues Planet I-III. And this past winter he played with noted Hawaiian musician, Willie K in his Maui music festival along with the likes of Steven Tyler, Mick Fleetwood, and Taj Mahal.Altogether with his bands Common Sense, Nick-I, and The 133 Band, he's made 12 albums. “I like it, but I don't do enough recording,” Nick said. “I'm mostly a live artist.”There's always a crowd on Fridays at Mozambique catching Nick live with his band, Nick-I & A.D.D., and other live gigs at places such as the Coach House, the Belly Up, and the OC Fair as well as special events and corporate gigs. “You always have a dream as an artist,” he muses. “Now my dream is that The 133 Band will do the film festival circuit.” Sound like a lot of balls to juggle in the air? Toss in Nick's co-passion for surfing, and add to that his participation in Surfers Healing and you've got one busy dude.Surfers Healing is an outreach program designed to foster joy and promote surf culture in the lives of autistic youth. Nick has served on the board of directors for 17 years. The idea is to get the kids out on the waves with the assistance of able surfers. “We want to give them one nice beautiful day at the beach, and just feel normal,” says Nick. Surfers Healing was founded by the Paskowitz family because their son, Isaiah, struggled with “meltdowns and sensory overload”. Riding the waves with his father calmed him like nothing else. Now Surfers Healing provides wave rides for more than 4,500 participants in their surf camps every year. Their motto is, “One child. One family. One day at the beach.”“Now we've got enough sponsorship, we're not sleeping on the floor – we all get our own beds now!” said Nick. “It started out, ‘I'm gonna do this ‘cause it's the right thing to do', and then I loved it. We're helping these kids and it feels really good.”

Steve Wood has lived a rich musical life, full of synchronicities. Leading like a lucid dream from one expression to the next, always guided by both his inner voice and a buoyant, or dare I say, defiant spirit accepting only passion as a course of action. His joie de vivre is both evident and shining as ever as this wonderfully accomplished rock musician, turned IMAX wunderkind composer, walks you through his storied and fascinating life. What a pleasure it is to bring this interview with the Wizard of the big screen to light! At age 14 Steve Wood was living the young surfer's dream of living on the beach in Newport Beach, California where he could surf every day before and after (and sometimes during) school. His world came crashing down when his father was transferred to Dallas, Texas. Not knowing what to do when he got there, he bought his first guitar and started a band. Two years later he had a number 4 record on the local charts and he had stumbled onto his life's path. Moving back to California he played in a variety of local bands for a couple of years until he founded the band Honk which composed the soundtrack for Greg MacGillivray's iconic surfing movie “Five Summer Stories”. A song from that movie became number 1 in Hawaii and soon Honk had a major recording contract and was touring with The Beach Boys, Loggins and Messina and Chicago. Several years later Steve became the keyboard player and musical director for Kenny Loggins, a position he held for 10 years. During that time he wrote several chart making songs with Kenny and helped produce several hits including “Footloose”.In the meantime Greg MacGillivray shifted from surf movies to become the most successful IMAX documentary film maker in history. He tapped Steve to compose scores for 30 of his films including “Everest”, “The Living Sea” and “Dolphins”. Steve's work earned him 8 “Best Score” awards, the most by any composer and allowed him to work with Sting, George Harrison, Paul McCartney, The Moody Blues, Dave Matthews Band and Brian May of Queen along with a host of others.Among his other accomplishments are his Clio Award winning work with Stevie Wonder and his production and composition work for Sony Classical artists. He composed, recorded and mixed the music for 2 PBS specials filmed at the Colosseum in Rome and ancient Agora Amphitheater in Thessaloniki, Greece. He is currently composing and working with his wife Beth Fitchet Wood, a gifted singer songwriter. He is also producing an upcoming series of live streams of gifted up and coming musicians from high schools from around Orange County, California with Laguna Beach Live where he is a board member.

To Joni, the commitment to high-quality products that bring value to consumers and their communities is just as important as a flourishing business. After Joni learned that cosmetic companies consistently use the same ingredients in different products that tout “unique” claims, she knew SeneGence had to stand out from the rest. She set off across the globe with a team of scientists and botanists to find exceptional ingredients for SeneGence's product formulations.Today, these ingredients are used to help produce the amazing results SeneGence SkinCare and Cosmetics are known for. SeneGence products are on the cutting edge of technology with original, patented, and proprietary formulations that really work! In 1999, Joni partnered with an award-winning scientist to develop a patented, never-before-seen liquid lip color: LipSense®. Better than any lipstick or lip stain available, LipSense quickly skyrocketed in popularity for its long-lasting ability. With a simple three coat application, LipSense delivers gorgeous color that stays on for up to 18 hours. And that was just the beginning of a long line of products that really work! Joni also wanted to offer one of the most lucrative compensation plans in the industry, designed for women who are serious about building their career from home. This business model of earning additional income by selling products that really work took off!Today, the SeneGence line of anti-aging skin care and long-lasting cosmetics includes over 300 products, sold by tens of thousands of Independent Distributors across the globe. SeneGence has core operations in the USA, Canada, Australia, Mexico, and Hong Kong, with products available in many other territories across the globe. Joni currently serves on the Direct Selling Association's (DSA) Board of Directors. In 2018, she received Direct Selling News' Bravo Award and the Excellence in Entrepreneurship Award by the Orange County Business Journal. Joni is an active member of the Orange and Creek County communities and is also the author of Million Dollar Lips. In June 2020, Joni was installed as a Board Member of the Direct Selling Education Foundation. And stay tuned until the end where we interview some of Joni's top brass who rightfully sing her and SeneGence's praises, you'll hear it first hand how their experience with this wonderful woman has forever changed their lives. This episode with Joel Cooper Co-founder of iconic surf brand Gotcha and Co-owner and CEO of Lost International covers so much ground! A story of how two friends (Joel & pro surfer Michael Tomson) had a vision about an action sports lifestyle brand, before the explosion of the sport, then carried that vision through the decades to remain a unique top tier voice in a now super massive industry. Joel is a stick to your guns authentic cultural leader with stories to tell and lessons about outperforming corporate giants and all the while keeping your cool. After graduating as a CPA in Durban, South Africa, Mr. Cooper went to work with his father who owned a clothing factory. He started in the cutting room and made his way through each department, learning the manufacturing process from start to finish. In 1997 his best friend and professional surfer, Michael Tomson, approached him with the idea to start a surf company. At that stage, Ocean Pacific were the giants that owned the market that had been built both in the USA and throughout the world. The market needed something new. They saw this as an opportunity. Joel had the production capabilities to produce the goods through his father's factory, and Michael, being a world-famous surfer, were able to create Gotcha which was launched in South Africa in 1978. Their dream was always to come to the U.S. which they did one year later, moving the headquarters to Laguna Beach in November 1979. The rest is now history. Gotcha grew to a $200 million dollar company which they eventually sold many years later. Having no desire to exit the industry, Joel joined his two partners Matt Biolis and Mike Reola, who had just started the brand LOST and needed both finance and experience, both of which he could provide. Together they formed Lost International which manufactures and sells clothing, surfboards, snowboards, skateboards, and related accessories. This was like restarting his career, which he has done now for the past 20 plus years. Matt, Mike and Joel are still partners, and together they continue to chase their dreams.Joel Cooper has been involved in the surf industry for over 40 years and has not lost the passion and drive that motivated him since he was first introduced into the industry by lifelong friend and partner Michael Tomson.

What a treat it is to have Scott Palazzo on In the Circle! A true go your own way, follow your heart and strike gold tale, Scott has done just that and has forever altered, enriched, and elevated the meaning of what a California wine can be. Bringing his first hand French wine making expertise matched with a spectacular palate, Palazzo wines bring a new dimension of old world sophistication spoken in the key of California, Scott is a gift to the culinary world, and to wine drinkers everywhere. We are so pleased to share with you this exploration in conversation with this unique soul. Scott came to the wine world with a vision formed by both his Italian heritage and his artistic sensibility. Raised in an Italian household, Scott grew up with wine as a backdrop for life's everyday events, meals, and celebrations. An artist at heart... and a rolling stone by nature... his path to becoming one of the top winemakers in Napa Valley took many twists and turns. At age 19, a 3-month trip abroad to Europe evolved into a much longer extended stay, and landed Scott in France. With his guitar on his back, Scott wandered into the small winemaking village of Saint Émilion (on the Right Bank of Bordeaux's Gironde river) and quickly fell in love with the people, the land, and most of all, the wines. This experience shaped his palate and served as inspiration for the establishment of Palazzo Wine 20+ years later. In 2003, after establishing a successful career as a Grammy Nominated Music Video & Television Director / Producer, Scott began exploring California's wine regions with a new creative undertaking in mind... producing a beautifully refined, terroir-driven wine like those he had discovered and enjoyed while living in Saint Émilion, France. His search led him to the Carneros Appellation in Napa Valley, where the similarities between the rolling hills of this South-of-Napa Appellation and those of Saint Émilion convinced him that this was the right location to create his wine. The cool, maritime climate and shallow clay soils of Carneros were ideal for achieving his goal to produce a wine with wonderful layers of rich fruit, balanced by elegant acidity ... like those he'd grown to love while living & working in Bordeaux.Sourcing fruit from some of the most celebrated hillside vineyards in Carneros, Palazzo has realized his dream of producing world-class wines, by combining new world fruit with an old-world sensibility in the cellar. Scott Palazzo's wines have been accepted and embraced by some of thewine world's most respected and influential restaurants, sommeliers, and critics from all over the United States. The French Laundry, Gary Danko, Michael Mina, Per Se, Daniel, Gramercy Tavern, Eleven Madison Park, Spago, Ago, Bouchon, Drago, Redd, Press, Mastro's Steakhouse, Emeril's, Valintino's are just a few of the country's prestigious restaurants who have offered Palazzo Wine on their wine lists!

He ran for student body president at Cal-State Fullerton at the end of his freshman year and was the first freshman ever elected to that position in the Cal-State system. It is somewhat unusual that everything he has done in politics has been as an unpaid volunteer. His day job is working in alternative healthcare. He runs a company that provides malpractice insurance and other services to acupuncturists, naturopaths, chiropractors, and other alternative healthcare providers. He has extensive experience in presidential and statewide elections. He co-chaired several presidential campaigns in California, including Bush 41 in 1988 and 1992, Bob Dole in 1996, and Bush 43 in 2000. He was also the State Co-Chair and Political Director for Senator Ted Cruz during Senator Cruz's 2016 Presidential race. Mr. Schroeder has also served as political director of numerous California statewide campaigns. He served as a political director for Steve Poizner, a Republican, who was the California State Insurance Commissioner, in his campaign for Governor in 2010. Mr. Schroeder has also served as Chairman of the California Republican Party and a Vice-Chairman of the Republican National Committee.
