Find out how he became known as the Hannibal Lecter of the Andes. And where is he now? Then, we go for a ride in a naval blimp when things take a turn for the worse. Here we are at Episode 40 and we are swapping stories about the Dancing Plague and the Kentucky Meat Shower of 1876. It was a sensation that was sweeping a nation, people dancing themselves to death. Mass hysteria or sexual frustration?  Then it’s raining meat in Kentucky! We discuss some really outrageous theories and actually come to a potential cause of this MEATeor shower. It’s time for some brews and some boos so get ready for Episode 39. We are talking about the story of Dear David and the vampire Mercy Brown. Dear David is the first ever ghost story told via social media. It’s a wild ride full creepy imagery and a huge following. Then a story about a town in the grips of a tuberculosis epidemic. The hysteria breeds an epidemic of its own and a local girl, Mercy Brown takes the fall. Pour some salt in a circle because it’s time for Fears and Beers!

Welcome to Episode 38 of Fears and Beers. We cover a lot this week so pop a top and join us as we discuss Bigfoot's sweet tooth, a crazy serial killer that killed a big chunk of her family and a mysterious area in the Great Lakes that  is the location of many watery graves and even its own unexplained monument. All this and more gets discussed while we drink some great craft beers from Saloon Door Brewing and 903 Brewers. We get it. There are a lot of skeptics. So keep drinking till you believe!

Here we are at Episode 35 and we talk about the Aachen Strangler and the Ghost Children of New Orleans.  First, a German murderer who almost got away with it. You don’t want to miss the electrifying ending. Then, we discuss the unexpected results of Yellow Fever and the fires of New Orleans and why you might see the ghostly orphans if you stay at the Andrew Jackson hotel. Hang the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door because it’s time for Fears and Beers.

Put on your ceremonial cape and get ready for Episode 34 where we talk about Night Marchers and Pascagoula UFO’s. Let’s discuss the ancient Hawaiian warriors out for a walk about. Pack up your trunk and get ready for Episode 33. We are talking about Strange Funerals and The Brighton Trunk Murders of 1934. When did some of these wacky funeral superstitions get started? And who is ready for a little post-mortem space travel? Then it’s 1934 in Brighton, England and some horrific things are found at the railway station. Never ever open an abandoned suitcase. Especially if it smells bad. You better tag it and bag it. It’s time for another round with Fears and Beers.

Our high boots are on and we are stepping into another week with Episode 32! We uncover some truths behind the possession and exorcism of Annaliese Michel. Seizures or Satan? And how did Nero get involved? Then we hop over to the Salish Coast in the Pacific Northwest to find some disembodied feet. Why does this keep happening and did they have clean socks on? Grab a pint because the voices in your head are saying it’s time for Fears and Beers!

On Episode 31 where we are talking about Glamis Castle and the Fox Sisters as we drink some fine  craft beers. Glamis is a Scottish landmark with a horrible history.  From an ash distributing ghost to a literal card game from hell with a “monster” legend thrown in for god measure.  Then, it’s on to the three Fox sisters who started a movement. The birth of Spiritualism and communicating with the dead. A shocking confession and a lot of pointing of toes. Rap once for “yes”, twice for “no” and three times for Fears and Beers.

Time to take a ride on the weird side with Episode 30. We are talking about the McKee Murder and The Mystery of the Lead Masks this week. It’s a crime of passion while cycling in Long Beach. It's hard to be angry while riding a bike but this guy figured it out. Next, dead men on hills tell no tales. And we sure wish they did. We discuss the bizarre end of two gentlemen and the enduring mystery that their departure left us with. Join us as we talk about scientific spiritualist and loose eyeballs on this week’s edition of Fears and Beers!

On Episode 29 we are back to two beers, two stories! From American History to Americana Folklore, we are talking about the Jonestown Tragedy and Creepy Cryptids. It’s a dark discussion about Jim Jones and the horrific end to his congregation. Then we switch gears to a different kind of monster. Everything from Skunk Apes to Lizard Men. Urban legends or missing links? Either way sounds like a good time to pour up a pint. It’s time for Fears and Beers!

And we’re back! 2100 miles later and many beers richer, we return home from our trip to New Mexico. This week it’s all about tales from the road. Where we went, what we saw and, of course, what we drank! We talk about some of the breweries that we visited and some of the bizarre landscapes that we found on our way to Roswell. Join us as we recap our road trip in the latest edition of Fears and Beers!    

The van is packed and there's nothing left to do but post Episode 27! We are taking a road trip! The first stop is Roswell, New Mexico. It’s all about a Breweries and Alien Tourist Traps this week. Creepy Dolls and The Monkey Man help us bring the “BOOs” in Episode 26. This week, creepiness abounds with the Island of the Dolls and the mysterious Monkey Man of Dehli. Children’s toys or spirit infested vessels of evil? Then, we discuss a mystery in India. It's a hairy, four-foot, robot killer with metal claws, a helmet and a cape. Hysteria or fact? Look out! It’s a stampede! Episode 25 is coming your way!  This week we are telling stories about Devil’s Backbone and Belle Gunness.  Call out the cavalry because there’s a heard of ghosts passing by.  We also find out that haints have feelings, too.  Then it’s on to love, death and insurance fraud - Serial Killer style. Triflers need not apply. It’s always five o’clock somewhere and it’s always time for Fears and Beers.

Like a runaway train car full of gunpowder, Episode 24 is racing down the tracks! This time, we are talking about an exploding town and the mysterious disappearance of Juan Pedro Martinez Gomez. We find out that small towns can go boom in a big way. Then it’s a study in flesh versus caustic materials. Was it an abduction or the world’s best disappearing act? You be the judge. Just hope the brakes don’t fail because you are on a collision course with another episode of Fears and Beers!

Like a bird into a window, we fly into Episode 23. Life gets interesting for the Bell family with a singing & shaking witch and we find out they shouldn’t be allowed to have pets. Then we discover that you just never know what you’ll find on a Canadian beach.  Could be a shell… could be a surly, growling man with no legs.  It’s the sad and surprising tale of the mysterious Jerome of Sandy Cove. Episode 22 of Fears and Beers has arrived!  This week we delve into Medieval Torture and The Anjikuni Mystery.  We talk about a few devices of torment that give the Dark Ages a bad name. Who comes up with this stuff? Then we discuss the mysterious disappearance of an entire tribe. What happened here? Who opened the graves and who puts lipstick on a dog? Welcome to FaB Episode 21!   This week we talk about Spontaneous Human Combustion and The Eyeball Killer.  Bursting into flames has been a thing for a long time and we discuss some of these gruesome events.  Then we turn our eyes to Charles Albright. Also known as The Eyeball Killer. Find out why overbearing mothers and taxidermy can make for a troubled man. So, join us as we look at these stories while we drink some fine beverages. It’s Episode 19 and it’s all about a Paranormal Prison and how You Can’t Cheat Death!  We do a shake-down search on a famous, haunted prison. Has anyone seen Frank’s head?
