After years of frustrating injuries and failed rehab, George James didn't just walk away from rugby – he walked into a calling. In this episode, he shares his journey from elite athlete to pioneering physiotherapist, his decision to bring the Neubie to the UK, and what it really means to treat the nervous system. We cover:  George's years of failures as an athlete going through traditional rehab, and how it led him to question everything The lessons that inspired George to use a neurological framework, and how the NEUBIE plugged into that framework and became an accelerator His philosophy on why everyone should be treated like an athlete, including MS and ALS patients How he's built a thriving cash-based practice in a country with free healthcare Inspiring stories of patients reclaiming lost function, including one who regained movement that had been gone for 10 years … in the first five minutes of her treatment How he uses self-care to stay sharp, present, and energized for his clients George isn't just delivering a different treatment, he's rewriting the standard. And if you've ever felt let down by using the “standard approach” with yourself or your patients,  this conversation will hit home.

(00:00-26:07) – Query & Company opens on a Friday with Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison discussing the Indiana Fever with the regular season now over. They preview the Fever's upcoming playoff series against the Connecticut Sun and then get into a conversation about how historic a season Shohei Ohtani is having. They compare what he is doing this year to what Babe Ruth did back in the day. (26:07-36:23) – Jake and Eddie shift their conversation to the Indianapolis Colts by previewing their game Sunday against the Chicago Bears. They highlight how stout the defense for Chicago has been dating back to last season and are curious to see how much of an impact Josh Downs has on the Colts offense.   (36:23-40:33) – Hour number one with Jake and Eddie previewing their upcoming conversation with their Former Colt Friday guest! (40:33-1:10:06) – Former Indianapolis Colts quarterback Jeff George joins Jake Query as our Former Colt Friday guest to share what he has seen from the team so far, evaluates Anthony Richardson's career so far, goes back to when he first joined the Colts because Jake asks how some of the players on the team felt about him when he got drafted, admits that it is hard for some young quarterbacks to lead a veteran team, and believes that Jonathan Taylor needs to be Richardson's safety net like Eric Dickerson was for him as a rookie quarterback. (1:10:06-1:19:10) – The IndyStar's Kyle Neddenriep joins Query & Company for his weekly Friday visit to preview week five of the high school football season. He highlights the struggles of Ben Davis as surprising in a negative manner and Lawrence North as a surprise in the positive direction. He also examines some of the other games on tonight's slate, including tonight's game on The Fan between Warren Central and Ben Davis. (1:19:10-1:24:47) – Hour number two concludes with Jake asking Eddie if it is considered weird in today's day to just go on drives with the windows down to just let your mind wander with whatever playlist you have on in the car. (1:24:47-1:46:53) – James Boyd from The Athletic joins the show to provide an update on how today's practice went for the Indianapolis Colts, doesn't believe that the Colts will make any firings in the middle of the season unless things go catastrophically wrong, states that the Bears defense is the biggest problem for the Colts, reacts to the news of Keenan Allen being out on Sunday for Chicago, and then shares his prediction for the game.   (1:46:53-1:57:50) – As Jake does every Friday on Query & Company, he shares a feel good story sponsored by Franciscan Health. This week's story is about a high school soccer player in Mt. Vernon that has overcame the odds to get back onto the field. (1:57:50-2:03:55) – Today's show ends with the JCook Plays of the Day, Jake and Eddie sharing their predictions for the Colts game, and Jake sharing some of the lines in college football that just don't make sense to him.Support the show: https://1075thefan.com/query-and-company/See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Oops, I did it again! Other guests include teacher George James, author and psychologist Dr. Art Martin, Elaine Jesmer (author of "I'm Hot and I'm Bald!"
