This episode dives into the heated clashes over immigration enforcement and media narratives in the wake of the fatal January 7, 2026, ICE shooting in Minneapolis, where a 37 year old mother of three, Renee Nicole Good, was killed by an agent during an operation. Federal officials claim the shooting was justified self-defense after she allegedly drove toward officers, while Minnesota leaders including Gov. Tim Walz and Mayor Jacob Frey dispute the account, demand accountability, and criticize the broader crackdown. The incident sparked immediate protests in Minneapolis (with clashes involving snowballs and police pullbacks), vigils, and solidarity demonstrations in cities like New York City, where the Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL) organized marches demanding an end to ICE operations—highlighting claims of orchestrated chaos by the left.Dan Bongino fires back at the "Black Pill crowd" in a fiery segment, refusing to let pessimists, grifters, and division-stokers hijack the movement he helped build. The show also connects these tensions to broader media bias, spotlighting how legacy outlets may downplay or frame stories like the ongoing Minnesota welfare/child-care fraud scandal (with federal charges against dozens, convictions mounting, and estimates reaching potentially billions in misused funds.Join guests Judd Saul, founder of Equipping the Persecuted and Truth Nigeria, for an in-depth look at the escalating persecution of Christians in Nigeria including recent coordinated attacks killing dozens in early 2026 and calls for stronger U.S. and international intervention. Then, Sam Anthony, founder and CEO of YourNews.com, discusses building a decentralized, citizen powered media platform to counter censorship and bias, with real time insights into covering fast-moving crises like Minnesota's ICE fallout and fraud investigations. Tune in for unfiltered truth, advocacy, and the fight against division!

In this episode of Confronting Capitalism, Vivek Chibber is joined by Matt Huber, co-author alongside Fred Stafford and Leigh Phillips of a new Catalyst essay titled “The Left Has Always Fought for Abundance.” Together, they discuss the need for an energy infrastructure build out, the historic origins of stagnant state capacity, and what socialist abundance entails. You'll hear raw, specific examples of how authoritarian control shows up in daily life, including censorship, the absence of independent journalism, and the consequences people face for speaking out. The conversation also connects Cuba's reality to Venezuela's collapse, inflation, and scarcity, then pivots into U.S. politics, including the way “social democracy” gets marketed and compared to Sweden. Expect a direct comparison of capitalism vs socialism, discussion of taxes, incentives, corruption, and why “free” programs still come with real costs, plus a warning about how fast oppression can replace freedom of speech once government power grows unchecked.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/2-be-better--5828421/support.

Alex and Cole trace the Spanish roots of the Southwest, the rise of mining economies, and how imperial control evolved into modern capitalist structures—sparking a debate over alternative political systems.
Why are Venezuelans celebrating the collapse of socialism while American leaders are selling it as “compassion”? In this Live Free episode, Pastors Josh Howerton, Carlos Erazo, and Paul Cunningham pull the curtain back on Mamdani's “warmth of collectivism,” to expose the real-world cost of a socialist ideology. They contrast empty political promises with the only freedom that actually delivers, Jesus' declaration from the cross, “It IS finished.” This is a raw, unfiltered conversation about power, control, false hope, and why Christians must think biblically when culture reframes broken ideas as virtue.

In this Sunday Morning Live on 4 January 2026, Stefan Molyneux examines the capture of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro by U.S. Special Forces, an operation that prompts questions about sovereignty and international law. He discusses the divided reactions to the military action and draws parallels with earlier U.S. interventions. With Venezuela as an example, he critiques the shortcomings of socialism against the outcomes of free-market systems and considers the effects on U.S. domestic politics, especially around the 2020 elections. He also touches on how culture shapes children's food preferences and looks at the difficulties for people who challenge common opinions. The Human Equation with Joe Pangaro – The election of a democratic socialist mayor in New York City is not the end of the American system — far from it. But it is a reminder that the system is flexible enough to accommodate a wide range of ideologies. That flexibility is both its strength and its vulnerability. The rise of socialism in American politics should not be met with fear or hostility, but with...
BEST OF TST: The United States is close to declaring war on Venezuela. Well, sort of; the President said he won't actually seek a declaration from Congress and instead just “kill people that are bringing drugs into our country.” Just prior, however, the White House gave Maduro an ultimatum to flee Venezuela. So are we killing people with drugs on boats or orchestrating regime change? The 2024 US DOJ-DEA National Drug Threat Assessment literally did not even mention Venezuela. The only recent major indictment of the country came from a Presidential Memorandum on September 15, 2024, which declared several countries as having failed in “their obligations under international counternarcotics agreements.” Ironically, the President made “null” and “void” all “documents, proclamations, Executive Orders, Memorandums, or Contracts,” signed under former President Biden's autopen, essentially erasing the declaration that Venezuela had any connection serious to drug trafficking. But for drugs like fentanyl, nearly 100% of it comes through Mexico. One would be confused in learning this and then trying to figure out why the White House has targeted Venezuela in the name of those same drugs. Remember, Mexico refused to assist in cleaning up the cartels under Claudia Sheinbaum, and it is her ethno-state, Israel, which is verifiably behind training the cartels, arming them, and facilitating through HIAS mass human trafficking. The White House is also saying that Venezuela is a host of illegal immigration, though Mexico and several other countries play a far greater role. This has people thinking that the whole issue is about oil, something the US State Department has denied. But perhaps it is about Sheinbaum. While Javier Milei of Argentina, who is also Jewish, just launched the Isaac Accords to strengthen political, economic and cultural cooperation between Israel and Latin America, Maduro of Venezuela, who himself has Jewish heritage, has consistently been condemning Israel as holding “an ideology more dangerous than Nazism.” He has accused Jews of controlling his opposition and the media, the same media now telling the public we have to stop Venezuelan drug trafficking by regime change only. Or perhaps, Maduro, who is Jewish, is playing the role of turning over the resource rich country to the US-Israel alliance, hence why he was given the option to flee. *The is the FREE archive, which includes advertisements. Have you seen the “Grinch prank” video trend? Bad parenting, yes. But also a nod to the conflicts, ancient and modern, embedded in Christmas. Contrary to what Bill O'Reilly would tell you, there has never been a “war on Christmas.” Rather, Christmas itself has always been a battleground over love, dignity, and resources. What we're really fighting over is who gets care in systems built on scarcity and extraction. In this hard-hitting special series on Joe Oltmann Untamed, host Joe Oltmann teams up with military analyst “B” to rip the veil off the coordinated radical networks infiltrating American cities, politics, and youth culture. It all starts with Zohran Mamdani's rapid rise—far from grassroots politics. A leaked video from one of his aides exposes the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) Steering Committee's calculated playbook, linked to Alicia T. Signham and a sprawling web that includes ANTIFA, the Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL), the Muslim Democratic Club of New York, and INCA for Social Justice. With “B” mapping out the connections, we trace Linda Sarsour's direct pipeline from the DSA straight to Mamdani, showing how these groups hide behind “social justice” rhetoric to push a subversive, anti-American agenda. The videos and documents don't lie, this is deliberate, organized infiltration.Building on that explosive foundation, the series exposes the hidden threads tying it all together. Linda Sarsour stands out as the central bridge, her deep ties to ANTIFA and radical activism laid bare in a game-changing video played at the perfect moment. The swamp stench is overwhelming: coordinated efforts to inject anti-American ideologies into local politics while mainstream media stays silent or complicit. These aren't lone wolves, they're part of a deliberate network exploiting progressive cover to embed radicalism in our communities. Joe and “B” make it crystal clear: the threat is real, it's accelerating, and it's unfolding right in front of us.In the third episode, we go straight for the jugular. “B,” our military analyst, walks us through the speakers of the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) , the group that poses as a harmless charity but operates as the primary pipeline for dangerous voices inside the United States. Coming on the heels of a massive pro-jihad rally in Pakistan involving Hamas, Jamaat-e-Islami, and Lashkar-e-Taiba (with clear U.S. connections), we spotlight ICNA's own chosen platform guests: convicted Pakistani spy Syed Ghulam Nabi Fai, banned extremist scholar Tariq Ramadan, Jamaat-e-Islami insider Dr. Nakibur Rahman, and Linda Sarsour herself. Every guilty plea, banned-from-America ruling, and damning document flashes on screen. The conclusion is that ICNA isn't a charity, it's the command center for jihadist influence in American communities. The series presses on, and the truth keeps getting louder.Check the Map Out Here: https://graphcommons.com/graphs/c72e75e7-6b90-41bd-b059-cd59f1ea0bac Please check out Joe's Givesendgo at: https://www.givesendgo.com/JoeOltmann https://untamednation.com/ Make sure to check out https://honorboundusa.com for all your Untamed Nation merch needs!Go to honorboundusa.com to get FREE TINA stickers and use Promo Code “FREETINA” for 20% off!Go to https://DCFguns.com and use Promo Code UNTAMEDNATION for 5% OFF Byrna ProductsProtect your family from hackers by going to https://sns.pidoxa.com NOW

What were President Trump's “achievements” in 2025? The media use and abuse of this term is an important measurement of bias. Conservative wins don't get the A-word. Achievements are programs like Obamacare, lauded as Obama's “signature achievement.” It doesn't matter if the Affordable Care Act ended up affordable. Capitalism is measured by its results. Socialism is measured by intentions.
Matt Dawson's The Political Durkheim: Sociology, Socialism, Legacies (Routledge, 2023) presents Durkheim as an important political sociologist, inspired by and advocating socialism. Through a series of studies, it argues that Durkheim's normative vision, which can be called libertarian socialism, shaped his sociological critique and search for alternatives. With attention to the value of this political sociology as a means of understanding our contemporary world, the author asks us to look again at Durkheim. While Durkheim's legacy has often emphasised the supposed conservative elements and stability advocated in his thought, we can point to a different legacy, one of a radical sociology. In dialogue with the decolonial critique, this volume also asks ‘was Durkheim white?' and in doing so shows how, as a Jew, he experienced significant racialisation in his lifetime. A new reading and a vital image of a ‘political Durkheim', The Political Durkheim will appeal to scholars and students with interests in Durkheim, social theory and political sociology. In this episode, we discuss public distrust of politicians and the realities behind presidential approval polling before turning to the math of lotteries and why people continue to play despite the odds. We examine Maryland's proposed reparations commission, including questions of eligibility, funding, legal responsibility, and the practical challenges of tying modern policy to historical injustice. We're joined by Phil Magness to explore the economic history of slavery, the claim that capitalism was built on slave labor, and why slavery is fundamentally incompatible with free markets. We cover Adam Smith's opposition to slavery, misconceptions about profit incentives, the global history of forced labor, and the moral and economic failures surrounding emancipation, closing with a broader discussion of capitalism, socialism, and historical accountability. 00:00 Introduction and Overview 00:44 Presidential Approval Ratings and Polling Reality 02:38 Why Americans Have Always Hated Politicians 03:35 Powerball, Probability, and the Math of Dreaming 06:51 Maryland's Reparations Commission Explained 08:12 Who Pays and Who Gets Reparations? 10:03 Mitigation, Law, and the Reparations Problem 14:24 Introducing Phil Magness 15:02 Was Capitalism Built on Slavery? 17:59 Slavery as an Ancient Institution 19:50 Adam Smith's Case Against Slavery 23:05 Why Slavery Is Anti-Capitalist 24:50 Pro-Slavery Economics and Feudalism 26:16 Founding Fathers, Hypocrisy, and Moral Failure 30:21 Slavery's Global History and Misconceptions 32:06 Incentives, Profit, and Economic Naivety 34:53 Would Slavery Have Ended Without the Civil War? 37:59 Gradual Emancipation and Historical Alternatives 40:47 Socialism, Capitalism, and the Plantation Model 44:01 Final Reflections and Closing Thoughts Learn more about your ad choices. Welcome back to Impact Theory with Tom Bilyeu. In today's episode, we're diving deep into the roots of economic inequality, unpacking the differences between capitalism, socialism, and communism, and exploring why the systems we rely on shape our lives in profound ways. Tom Bilyeu breaks down how wealth is distributed, why debt and money printing are at the core of our current financial challenges, and what history—from Argentina's boom and bust to the fall of East Germany—teaches us about the consequences of government intervention and top-down control. We'll look at real-world examples like rent control policies in New York City and around the globe, examining how well-intentioned measures can spiral into devastating housing crises and urban decay. Along the way, Tom Bilyeu challenges us to rethink populist solutions that may feel right in the moment but often backfire in the long run, and to focus instead on the structural incentives driving our problems. Whether you're passionate about economics, history, or social progress, this episode will equip you with the insights and mental frameworks needed to navigate today's rapidly changing financial landscape. Get ready for a thought-provoking journey that blends hard-hitting data, historical case studies, and actionable advice—so you can see beneath the surface and make better decisions for yourself and your community.
