At the end of last year, I made a decision that looked insane from the outside: I closed down my multiple six-figure coaching container and literally deleted half my income. But that "crazy" decision taught me something profound about the difference between healing and evolving - and why sometimes we become addicted to understanding our patterns instead of changing them. If you've been doing beautiful inner work but find yourself stuck in the same cycles, this episode reveals what might actually be keeping you trapped. In this episode, I share:The real story behind closing my main revenue driver (and why it felt scarier than any business decision I'd made)How I realised I was addicted to healing instead of actually changingThe difference between understanding your patterns and embodying new choicesWhy "self-awareness without action" is sophisticated procrastinationHow one uncomfortable decision created ripple effects across my entire lifeThe "dissolve through disuse" framework for breaking cycles without endless analysisWhy Saturn in Aries is cosmically supporting brave decisions right nowWhat happened to my business after I chose myself over money (spoiler: 200% launch increase)Key quote from the episode: "Sometimes the fastest way to change a pattern isn't spending all day long trying to figure out WHY it happens - it's consciously choosing differently and letting the old programming dissolve through disuse."Links & Resources:Get on the CCBD WaitlistJoin our Q4 2025 cohort for building foundations that create consistent conversionsGet on the Scale By Design WaitlistFor established entrepreneurs ready to architect their next level of growth (Q4 2025) 90-Minute Strategy Intensive (1 spot left in June)Deep dive into your business, Human Design & Astrology with personalised strategy Connect with Jazze:Instagram: @jazzejervis_ (DM me your biggest takeaway from this episode!)Journal Prompts from the Episode:What pattern have I been processing for months or years that's actually ready for a decision instead of more analysis?Where am I using "healing" or "inner work" to avoid taking action that feels scary but necessary? If I made one brave decision to prioritise myself today, what would that be? In this quick journaling session, we're applying Mel Robbins' viral "Let Them Theory" specifically to your life as a busy, overwhelmed, working mom.If you find yourself constantly drained by trying to manage your boss's expectations, your partner's household contributions, and your children's behavior all at once - these prompts will help you reclaim your energy and focus on what you actually can control.✨ In this episode, you'll discover:How to identify where your precious energy is being wastedA permission slip framework that changes your relationship with controlHow to create boundaries that actually work (without trying to control others)Journal Prompts Included:Think of one relationship or situation that consistently drains your energy. Then add "And instead, I will..." with one small concrete action that serves your wellbeing.Identify one area where you've been trying to control others rather than setting a boundary. What if the answers you're searching for aren't “out there,” but waiting inside the right questions? If you're committed to hitting your goals this year, today I am sharing the three questions to ask yourself right now. Listen Now & Learn: The key question to dig deeper and get real about what's really going on in your business. The question that helps you simplify, streamline, and make progress with ease. The question to ask to step into the CEO version of yourself to lead with confidence Plus, you'll hear how to identify hidden blind spots, stop overcomplicating your path forward and the simple shifts that can help you rise above challenges and unlock your next level. Resources Mentioned in the Show: Episode 86: Work Smarter, Not Harder Quotes to Remember: Strategy alone isn't going to get you through. Strategic thinking has to start with clarity. And clarity starts with seeing the real issue, not just the effects of the issue. You can't fix what you don't face. When we make things too hard, we set ourselves up for failure. It's always about the journey; it's seldom about the goal. Who you are determines your success. Clarity isn't found, it's created. Journal Prompts: What's really going on here? You'll also walk away with powerful coaching prompts to help you reflect on your own journey and stay anchored in your vision. Because whatever you're building? It's possible. It's worth it. And it's already unfolding — one day, one decision at a time. In This Episode, I Share: The surreal moment that stopped me in my tracks What 10 years of behind-the-scenes growth really looked like How we built a foundation without a blueprint The fear and freedom of doing something brand new Why your dream doesn't have to “feel real” yet to be happening 5 powerful coaching questions to help you take aligned action Journal Prompts: What vision are you building, even if it doesn't feel real yet? Today, we're talking about why teams hesitate to speak up and how to change that. If you've ever felt like your voice doesn't matter in meetings, that stops now. The Problem – Why Teams Aren't Engaged: When a leader asks, “Any questions?” and no one speaks, it's not because there's nothing to say. It's because people don't feel safe to share. When voices stay silent, innovation stalls, ideas get repetitive, and a few people dominate conversations. The Solution – The Wrong Answers Only Challenge: At your next meeting, challenge yourself (or your team) to go first—but start with a deliberately wrong answer. Example: If someone asks, “How should we improve client engagement?” You say: “Let's start responding to emails in Morse code.” Or if your boss asks, “How do we cut costs?” You respond: “Sell our office chairs and replace them with bean bags.” Why? Removing the pressure to be right makes it easier to contribute. It also lightens the mood and gets people thinking more creatively. When you practice this exercise regularly, it will overflow into the moments when you're not practicing it—creating a culture that's not afraid to share, speak up, and contribute creative solutions. Journal Prompts to chew on: When have I held back from sharing an idea? Why? How can I bring more playfulness to work conversations? Has a wrong answer ever led me to a breakthrough? Today, we're talking about something you can use anytime, anywhere: flipping fear into fuel. If you want to turn challenges into courageous choices, you're in the right place. The Problem: Why We Freeze at the Edge of Big Decisions Ever find yourself standing at a crossroads, knowing the bold choice is the right one, but feeling stuck? That's your brain clinging to predictability like a security blanket. It's not that you don't have what it takes—it's that uncertainty freaks your brain out. But here's the kicker: YOU are the flashlight in the unknown. You get to light the way. The Solution: The Inner DJ Remix Hack Time to shake things up with a little mental DJ-ing. Your brain loves to spin the same old fear-based tracks on repeat. Here's how you remix it: Next time your brain says, “This is too scary. I can't do this,” STOP. Out loud (or in your head if you're in public), say: “REMIX!” and swap the thought. Turn “I can't” into “I'm learning how.” Turn “This is too much” into “I can handle hard things.” Make it FUN. Be dramatic. Pretend you're a DJ scratching a record. Your brain thrives on novelty, and this playful shift rewires your fear response. Journal Prompts to chew on: What's the current fear-based ‘track' my brain keeps playing? What's my new ‘REMIX' thought? How can I physically embody this shift to make it stick? Today, we're talking about something anyone could use at any given time: a leadership sprucey spruce. If you want to turn team dreams into company wins, you're in the right place. The Problem: Why Teams Are Not Engaged Ever feel like your team is running on autopilot? Like they're doing just enough but not really bringing their A-game? It's not because they don't care—it's because they don't feel like their ideas matter. They're waiting for permission to be bold. And guess what? You can give it to them. The Solution: The Out-of-the-Box Improv Hack You Need In today's Snack, we're shaking things up with a little game called The Fortune Teller Brainstorm. Here's how it works: Have each team member write down a big, wild dream they have for the team—think moonshot ideas with no limits. Fold them up, toss them in a bowl, and randomly pull one out. As a group, pretend it's five years in the future and this dream has already happened. How did you get there? What steps did you take? Just like that, you've turned a dream into a game plan. Try this in your next meeting and watch how quickly your team starts thinking big. Journal Prompts to chew on: What's the wildest dream I have for my team's success? How can I create a fun way to encourage new ideas? Who on my team needs a confidence boost today, and how can I give it to them?
